We are a couple from limerick I have previously lived in Tralee so I know it quiet well this is a great bar spotless clean great staff and friendly customers pint guinness very reasonable and best of all a great pint.

After a 3 and a half hour drive from waterford we arrived in Tralee for one night pass over. I had messaged this bar the previous night to see if the football was on and they replied that was. We entered the bar and asked for a drink and where denied service immediately and told they dont need a reason, we are not getting served, and were told to leave. I could not believe what happend as we walked out the door. Extremely ignorant man behind the bar that has absolutely no reason for his actions. Id advise anyone who is not local stay away from this bar. Shocking way to treat a willing paying customer.

The castle bar situated in the heart of the street of champions is one of the very best bars in tralee. The bar cateres for all types of sports on the large screens where the banter and the craic are mighty.The friendly staff serve an arrangement if top class quality beers especially the Heineken .A must bar ti see when visiting tralee.

Im from limerick and I lived in tralee for a time my daughters still live there this pub is a touch of class great pints great staff and if you like a game of pool great competition.Gérard and Adrian run the pub and two nicer blokes you could not meet.lovely girl working there as well last January when we were in tralee.

Just simply the best! Try it and you will not be disappointed. Great atmosphere and great drinks. If you like sports then the Castle is the place for you. Adrian and Gerard know a thing or two about all sports and you wont find better hosts.

Great spot for a few pints, plenty tvs and a real sporting atmosphere. Two bookies nearby mean its a grand spot to spend a few hours watching the football or racing
