Proper old school drinking pit. Does what a pub should do, sells beer and pork scratchings. Has a decent juke box.

Lovely maître d lady. We had a great time watching the England-Ukraine match with the locals. We desperately tried to find a pub in Worthing, to watch the match, but we didnt book anywhere. It almost seemed impossible to find anywhere, when we walked into The Castle, where we were kindly greeted, and told there was a no show, so we got a table, and finally managed to watch the second half of the game.

The Castle is a cosy and friendly local pub. They do a good line in pub entertainment, quizzes and suchlike and live music. Its a bit the worse for wear and I felt my pint was expensive for Worthing but Id cheerfully drop in again.

Genuine working class pub. Friendly bar staff real ales usually no food no frills just good booze. A good honest pub definatley not for bistro pub lovers.

Went to the Castle Ale House with a friend. It was quite pleasant. The atmosphere was seemingly quiet considering it was the end of the week! However all in all, it was really welcoming and inviting. Lovely place to go. I recommend this place to casual groups or to those who enjoy a quiet social drink!
