Great venue, fantastic comedians and its free - highly recommend

Great place to dance to some pop music in the heart of Camden. Cocktails are a bit pricey but it’s pretty ok for beers.

Went here last night for a few drinks. The night ended abruptly at closing time with no warning. The music just stopped and the bouncers asked us to leave. I was finishing the last quarter of my pint while people left but one of the door staff felt the need to shove me out of the pub before everyone had left. He was on a total power trip and shouldn’t be pushing and shoving punters around. You really need to review your door staff looking at your reviews. They should not be touching people unnecessarily. Ruined what was otherwise a good night.

Amazing place. If you’re looking for a pub in Camden, this is the one. As someone who has tried many a pub in Camden this is by far the best. Free entry for the amazing Camden Head Lates events (which are amazing btwand very reasonably priced drinks especially for Camden and London. Been going here almost every week for about a year and hopefully many more!

Went for a quiet Pint, Door staff were extremely aggressive, being standoffish for no reason. Went in, was served and paid a very decent price. Pint was good, Doorstaff need to be changed, no need for bullies on the door.

Mrs was harassed by 2 guys. told the bouncers and they didnt care did not do anything to mitigate the situation. stay safe in this pub

Nachos too spicy and wet. We had to ask for a fork.They didnt clean the table, just picked all the previous glasses.To order food you have to go to the other side bar.Kind and nice weitress.6 pounds 1 guiness

Traditional pub, the like of which are disappearing fast like a splash of spilled Guinness soaking into a warm paving stone in the hot June sun. The only downside was that the ol bread knife and I sat next to the window and had some nutcase with a pointy chin stare at us through the plate glass for an extended period.I get that a lot, though. People find it hard to take their eyes off me because of my rugged good looks. We all have our cross to bear, I suppose.

Great little London Pub. The 2 barmen were lovely, and were playing some great throwback tunes. I felt so at peace and safe in there. Prices were more than fair for London, wish I had arrived in time for food!

Good beer, stored well and served in clean glasses hence the 2 stars. Unfortunately left down by the service. The lady with an American ascent needs addressing how to work in the service industry, how can you get a gin and tonic wrong FFS. Additionally tried to explain there were no sauces in the burgers but said thats what you ordered even thou she confirmed what sauce should be in there, so the burgers were dry. No appolgies and majority the staff more interested in talking to each other than serving with the exception of the bar tender with flat cap. Didnt want to complain as with daughter and niece, however managment need to address the issues.

This is an excellent and relaxing pub in the heart of Islington. The garden is great on a good day and staff are super friendly - especially Harry and Olivia. A good place to stop after the bustle of the day …

Always love the Camden Head. The service and food are usually great (not always). Unfortunately theyve gotten in the habit of hiring a dj in the evening which usually results in us getting kicked from our tables and struggle to hear our conversation even through chord-ripping shouting because of the not so good selection of music and volume. Shame really. The burgers are great 👍

Top tier scran, absolutely bombastic, regained my will to live (got bacon & cheese burger & beyond meat with some pints)

Typical old style pub, nice spacious layout. A few seats outside. Didnt get to try the smoked burger though as I was full from the market, but I will return to try

Went to Camden Comedy Club to see Ivor Dembino. The room was above the pub up a steep staircase. The comedian performed for an hour or so to a small interactive audience and it is very good value for money. Air-conditioned room too.

Good until my sister went missing and fell faint in the unisex toilets after I had waited for her for 20mins. Staff complained about me entering the women’s toilets, when I checked calmly and with concern, and didn’t take my contact details or check the other toilet that I missed. One other staff (I believe the mangerrecommended McDonald’s and 15mins later I returned panicking with my details. After, checked Mc D’s & returned to the place to see my sister there. One staff provided no sympathy and I was frustrated that they didn’t check the toilets (or take my detailsinstantly to avoid such distress for me. Equated to 40 minutes. Not pleased.

(Visited at nightgood cheesy music, nice and busy. Inexperienced bar staff and not much to offer in terms of drink variety. Good if your looking to get in late in the night, door staff were friendly and tolerant.

Staff were dealing with a very busy bar last night, Lisa was amazing at dealing with our large and often complicated orders! Great service.

Wasnt my scene, the music was awful, then had my stall removed while i was sitting on it. Was told by staff id have to stand and drink my pint because shes taking my seat downstairs.Dont think id ever go out in Camden again after that.

Nice pub with very good food. The place is very cozy and filled with people and very good music. I ordered two draft beers and a Chicken Sandwich that was amazing. The fries were good too.

Missed my show at koko and was hungry when I went passed this pub with people eating inside. Went in and ordered drinks and food. The drinks were strong and the food was class. Had one of the burgers and the sweet potato fries 🍟 😋 ... really good. There was a mistake with our order but the staff dealt with it well and gave us our second round on the house.. overall nice vibes.. would visit again.

Weird smell inside today, also lots of flies around. Guinness was half decent, pricey at 6 quid though. Barman looked stoned, no thanks or chat at all. 15 degrees outside and fire was roaring and every rad on full blast, like a full blown sauna.

We really enjoyed atmosphere there, feels like in our favourite pub in Poland. Burgers were amazing and worth price. Bartender recommended good beer.

Not exactly the cleanest of places. Thought someone would have the decency to at least clean the windows and the TV screen. And watch your drinks when the staff are collecting empties, what may look like melted ice turns out to be half a measure of vodka, which was swiftly removed. Good job Im not poor

Absolutely loved it here, I love how LGBT-friendly the pub is. I was gutted after being denied entry at another pub for carrying a guitar but the doorman at this pub told me it was fine and I just had to look after it. The staff and patrons were wonderful.

The main manager of the pub is the rudest and most unplesant person and should not have managerial position! He has a proper issue with power and will prefer to argue with his clients than serve drinks to them! The pub is othewise fine, but would definitely ne better without the rude general manager!

Called in as it was cold and we were hungry.Just expected frozen pub grub.We were pleasantly surprised.The most delicious bangers and mash we have ever had and a lovely smoked burger.A lovely friendly warm atmosphere.We will definitely call in again next time were in Camden.

Great atmosphere. The choices of beer could be better, but its alright. Fair prices and the portions were big, for small women maybe too big! I definetly recommend the bbq ribs. All in all a good place for food and drinks!

Fantastic pub! We were out for a friends birthday but wasn’t keen on the place we were in so went across the road to the Camden Head. We are so glad we did! They have the friendliest staff, best cocktails (Watermelon Sugar Highand got served straight away, also, we could sit outside and drink, smoke and chat to our hearts content! After a couple of hours the security asked us all to come inside for the disco/DJ. We had a great time dancing the night away! Would highly recommend this pub and we will definitely go back!

I came here for a comedy show called Silly Boy which was very enjoyable. The venue upstairs was intimate and had a good atmosphere. Also the chairs were very comfortable! Downstairs theres a large island bar and a variety of seating indoors and outdoors. There was also classic Camden music being played from Primal Scream to The Cure. Would definitely recommend.

Great music choice, fab staff.....better entertainment with 9 police officers arresting one elderly male whom was dragged out in handcuffs.Spent the next 25 minutes licking the window and listening to foul abusive language towards the officers.Reasonable selection of draught drinks and massive selection of spirits.Will be back

Go here every week after softball, the staff are always super accommodating for our large group, and do there best to find us table of 6 nearby one another. Only thing to note is they could speak up a bit when delivering orders to table, its always so hard to hear them (and you cant read lips because of the masks).

Just an of the wall, awesome place to eat! Simple menu! Pick your burger, side, and wood for your burger to be smoked over. Burgers are served under glass, which is filled with smoke from the wood you chose. Also, BEST onion rings Ive ever had in my life!!

Nice little place in Camden. Staffs are great- I was expecting a bit better from the food tho. I would have been ok with 30min wait if the the chicken in the burger was not but cold and the onion rings were not extra done. They could have taken someone eye out if I lobbed it. The Guacamole ball thing on the other hand...was on point. 🙌🙌 the presentation is insta worthy! Maybe next time it will be better.

Amazing food, drinks and service. The comedy club above the pub has great acts and the pub itself has terrific music and DJs.

Not bad little pub quite busy the smoking burgers look good although didnt have one as was just visiting the comedy club upstairs.....did have some chips and onion rings which I thought was a bit ££ but they were fresh and did taste good. Had music at 10 and late license. Prices are about right for London.
