Excellent food, service felt negligent but the food came fast.

The service was good and everyone was polite, but the whole meal was cold. Eggs were very rubbery. The biscuits were hard as a rock and gravy had little to no flavor, hashbrowns were cold and tasted like they just came from the freezer. Bloody mary was good though.

Been wanting to go for years. Since I am More of a night owl Ive never had the opportunity. However this day my boyfriend n I had the ability to go. Coustmer service A. Mimosa (1st time drinkingA. Food, F! No flavor and biscuits so think n dense hard time chewing.

Second time here.. Its an alright place. Beans and rice tasted bad. Burrito was great tho. The smoothie I got was just bad. They just put too much ice in it. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Pretty good food with quick turnover on tables during busy breakfast and brunch rush. Cleanliness could have had better attention but no to surprising considering how busy the restaurant was that morning to early afternoon.

Really did not have a good time here. Granted, it was a Saturday morning, but the coffee was bitter and the benedics carbs (a soggy sopa and rock-hard "corn bread"were inedible. Based on the average reviews, I really hoped for better. Id give this location a miss and go somewhere less crowded and better able to quality control.

Fantastic food, best place ever for a big, delicious, and interestingly varied breakfast!

I went to the Broken Yolk Cafe in Racho San Diego with my daughter for brunch last week and I have to say: I prefer the Broken Yolk Cafe in Plaza Bonita much more. I felt there wasnt enough parking for the business in that mall. We had to wait for a table for over 15 minutes when I clearly saw empty tables in the patio area.We were eventually seated in the patio area and that was nice. Our server Was very good at her job and the food as always was spot on.

The food here is very tasty and is perfect for brunch! The employees and the Manager Roy are very sweet and always gives us amazing food! Whenever we come here it is delicious and very welcoming! I’ve had my birthday and my promotion here and both times they had great service!!!

Food and service is excellent as always. I enjoy their skillets with coffee, and its always consistent. Shout out again to Mr Carlos, the Superman who never fails to amaze with his energy and prompt service. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.

Great food! got a seat right away. Pancakes and a Denver omelette definitely make me like coming back to this place

Didnt eat there, my friends picked, they late, I asked if they had Rez for them, no, had them set up, wouldnt let me sit after I ordered it until 1/2 the party came. Agitated me also they had a table already set up for 10! But set 4 tiny tables in a long string, how are people supposed to get in? Slide down 4 feet? We left, not our place,let the others in the area wrestle with this place. Pretty inside but they had an attitude.

Good foods and prices. Outdoor seating available. Highly ranked chain for breakfasts and lunches. Close at 300pm.

Amazing food with very healthy serving sizes!! One of my favorite parts about this restaurant was that you can put your name in to check in while at home and leisurely make your way there. We got there 10 min before our scheduled time and they texted us to say our table was ready. I had the American breakfast and my wife had the California omelette and we both left there completely satisfied. We also shared a cinna cake pancake and that was so delicious with it without syrup. They have a cool rewards program where you can get $10 Olof your next meal pretty easily. I highly recommend this place with great food and great service!

Food is delicious, pricey, long wait times. Staff interaction was amazing, the Manager came over to ensure our table satisfaction.Mimosas could use some work.

Good foods, Great service, Nice people

The food is great, no question. But the portions are not particularly generous, and the pricing is a bit high for what is served. The coffee cups are the smallest Ive seen in decades, which makes the servers work extra hard to keep them filled.

Only my 2nd visit to Broken Yolk. The first was a failed visit 4-5 years ago. Needless to say after a bad experience, today was such a pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere, service was impeccable, and the food was top notch. Some of the best buttermilk pancakes in some time. Highly recommend this BY Cafe. Happy New Year!

Came this morning with my fiancé, and we did not enjoy our breakfast here at all. The coffee was cold and tasteless, when we told the waiter she just took the coffee but didn’t offer a replacement or even an apology. Then our omelettes came but they were cold and had a rubbery taste. The waiter was incredibly rude, practically threw our dishes on the table and walked off in a hurry. We left a tip just as a courtesy but she didn’t deserve it. We used to be regulars at this location but we aren’t coming back.

I have gone many times, and the food was consistent. This time, my breakfast was unpalatable. The hash browns were greasy and under cooked, the bacon was half raw, the "toast" was untoasted bread. I gave it one star becaus the over easy egg was good, although it too was greasy. I couldnt eat it, gave it back and left without eating.

My daughter had chicken and waffles and she said it was the best!! I had eggs Benedict and although it was pretty good, I wish the eggs would have been runny, although I didnt specify. The orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. Definitely will return as this was our first time.

The food was just delicious. Not so comfortable with so many people unmasked. The music was extremely loud and fast, youd think they want you to hurry up. The server was very nice and it was clean.

This is the second time I have had their burger here. No joke, 1/2 pound of deliciousness. The bread is soft, meat is flavorful and crispy fries. I honestly have trouble finishing this. Best time for to go is after 2pm when the rush is gone. Service was great both times.

Got the huevos rancheros and really liked the flavor! A good amount of heat, but not too spicy. Also our server, Lisa, was just amazing! She was so friendly and she was regularly checking in not only with us, but all of the nearby tables, making sure everyones food was just right and no cups were reset empty! Really impressed with her phenomenal customer service!

Worth the wait. Food and staff are friendly, attentive and quick.There is a large grass area on the side of the restaurant for the kids to play while we wait so it was very enjoyable.Food was good. Got the avocado toast with poached eggs on top. I asked for over medium and they were almost hard boiled. So, just get one level lower when getting poached eggs.Kids had crepes and French toast. All good.

The food was delicious. The service was wonderful. The restaurant was clean. The wait wasn’t too bad for a Sunday morning. I will definitely be back :)

Firstly, my two star rating does not reflect the waitress, she is excellent! Im so disappointed with this restaurant. I used to go to Broken Yolk in P.B. and loved it. I had an omelette today and there was one small blob of cheese in it. So dry and boring. The home fries are tasteless, no seasoning or flavor. I had a fruit bowl and the pineapple was rock hard and part of the core. Ive tried to be a supporter of local owned businesses but this is my last time here.

My boyfriend and I ate here, one of the first restaurants we went to in California, and it set the standard for breakfast! We sat outside when we were there, I will say they need better seating/tables outdoors and they are a little $ but everything was very good and absolutely delicious! I had an omelette and he had one of their skillets. Perfect weekend brunch! Will update next time we go! 🥓🍊🍳

Breakfast is served and boy was is yummy. The biscuits and gravy were my favorite.

This place seems to have become a more expensive IHOP with worse service. We waited 40 minutes to be seated and then another hour to get our food. We ordered a monte cristo sandwich, pancakes, and oatmeal....oatmeal. This place peaked long ago. If youre thinking about going somewhere else, dont hesitate, just go.

Get out there and enjoy the best breakfast spot in Rancho!! Add a mimosa flight as your aperitif. Service was spot on!

The servers are friendly and well mannered. The shop and kitchen are always very well managed and clean. The price is kind of steep, but you get a lot of food for the price. It is very easy to find parking. I recommend coming to breakfast here sometime. You will enjoy it.

Food was fantastic! We ordered chilaquiles, eggs Benedict, all American breakfast and crepes — everything was delicious!!Staff was friendly and attentive. Very organized. We were told our table would be a 15 min wait but it was only about 5 mins.There’s indoor and outdoor seating available, we opted for indoor seating and were very comfortable.The owner stopped by all the tables and thanked guests for their support, which is really nice. I love going here for brunch, I always feel taken care of! Only reason I’m not 5 stars is due to dirty silverware. It was replaced promptly though.

This place is a dream. The staff is so on point. My kids really enjoy this place the food is hot and fresh! Go here they treat people like family.

I just ordered from here off of uber eats. I was already upset that instructions werent followed as far as utensils and syrup. When I opened one of the two containers of french toast orders I immediately noticed a dark spot on a slice of french. I was going to just tear it away, but looked closer and it was mold! The other container had a slice like that too, and the toast had a greenish color to it. Ive already complained through uber eats, this is absolutely disgusting. We couldve became sick!

Really enjoyed the environment of this place with my fiance. They did a great job with the decorating of the place. Its got a modern, somewhat rustic feel and is very clean. Waiters were friendly and helpful.The menu selection is large. We really enjoyed how they had anything you would want for breakfast. We will definitely come again.

Our table was absent a condiment basket. Our waitress was woefully absent and my silverware was filthy.Our food was delicious! The eggs were cooked well! Kitchen staff provided good service.I had to listen to Country music...grrr.

It was our first time here at the Rancho SD location. From the moment we got there..we were greeted and sat right way. Our waitress Abby was absolutely great..very attentive and always making sure we had water and napkins. Our food didnt take long to get to us. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and everyone enjoyed their food. After out meal..Rodel (manager?? came to talk with us for a bit..we told him our meal was great and our waitress was super. He was actually the one that sat us when we first walked in. We will definitely be back...great service..great food.

Hubby and I went for the first time today, we saw it being built (took over 3 suites totaling 5,000 sq feet). Has 2 outside patio areas which allows dogs! Yeah pet friendly restaurant in Rancho (much needed).When we drove up, there was ample parking, but we saw several groups waiting outside in welcoming bench areas. The restaurant provided fruit flavored water for passersby and folks waiting. We gave our name to the hostess, party of 2 (inside, outside shaded patio or next available seating), we chose next available. Went outside to wait, but it was about 1 minute and the hostess came outside and called our name.We were seated inside in a window booth. Our waitress name was Marta, she was delightful! Very attentive, professional service and had a smile to light the room.We were visited at our table by Customer Service Representative, Roy, who was funny, courteous and made our dinning experience more memorable. A welcome addition to this new establishment and the careful management orchestration of heightened dinning experience. Good job.Our food was presented and plated well, plus tasted delicious, good blend of flavors and seasonings. The Pomegranate Mimosas were refreshing, coffee refilled quickly. We even had a table side visit from Ishmael the Chef wanting to know how our food was and was it to our liking. Another excellent customer service touch.Would highly recommend this location, gave it 5 Stars on Yelp review. Bravo and Kudos to this new location and its intuitive management.
