The Brickworks Centre - Shopping Centre in Glenmore Park, Australia
I went to Chemist Wharehouse, it was busy and under staffed. They even got my prescription wrong,After waiting half an hour.
Great shopping centre for all your needs, great coffee at Merlo, great bakery, olives & cheese, RY beauty for looking & feeling good.
Very busy centre with good range of shops and cafes.
Love the Grocers shop with its extensive range of quality food . Lots of fresh vegetables and fruits along with a sensational delicatessen with all youd expect from a business like this . Also love Merlo coffee shop . Fragrant and tasty coffee and pastries . Highly recommended. Parking is a hassle as there are too few carparks given how many people shop here.
Excellent service BEAUTIFUL staffLOVE THE TK Maxx
Nice little Hub. Would love to see more trendy affordable shops.
I love Merlots staff, coffee, & cake selection but I really wish theyd do something about the horrific noise. The concrete floor and the noise made by dragging chairs is bad, but add in the really loud (unnecessary?music and it feels like having to shout over the crowd at a footy match. Love everything else, but please do something about the noise!
All outlets at Ferry Road Markets are all first class. Deli, Bakery, Butcher, Green Grocer, Gelato. Not forgetting the equally as good cafe Pearl and Ash
Ferry Rd Market is fantastic and the lres a few other great boutique shops. However having now been to Brickworks quite often one thing that annoys me is the lack of seating outside the shops and the priority cars have over pedestrians. Just add a few more bench seats around the footpaths even for the oldies to take a break but also for people generally to sit down and enjoy an ice-cream. Otherwise its a great location
Nice atmosphere and great service and products. The right mix of retailers, I highly recommended this location
I love this place .Food is wonderful and shops are great for a wonder. Excellent!🥳
Car park is always packed nice collection of shops for food, clothing ,furniture etc. Gold Coast location of Merlo coffee
A big surprise! Never been before and stunned at the amazing shops. The Gelato is incredible. The specialty stores are all high quality and the florist is the best Ive ever seen. Definitely worth a look!
Very good place to shop. Free parking. Fesh food market, Chemist Warehouse, TK Maxx. Furniture stores, coffee shops.
Lots of variety to suite most budgets with some interesting speciality offerings for discerning tastes. The people viewing gets excellent too ....hint hint
A nice relaxing place to get special meats, cheeses and a good coffee too. There is a wide variety of different shops to browse through and lots of parking spaces.
The Ferry Markets are the best part of the entire Brickworks complex. Other than that it houses both mainstream franchises like TKMAX, Freedom, Chemist Warehouse and other high end Franchise stores. Theres an excellent restaurant Salt where I love to stop for a coffee or brunch when in Southport and on the outside some smaller boutique homewares and a beautiful childrens store.
Eclectic mix of shops and a great deli with a wonderful range of products. Nice eateries here as well.
I have been a customer of the markets at Ferry Road since opening and its been 5 stars all the way. Good service, great selections, friendly staff and high quality products. My reason for dropping 1 star is related only to the parking situation. I realise its not something they can control having implemented 1 hour parking in front of the market. Parking can be troublesome, especially between 8.30am till 4.30pm which is after the drop off times for the (closely located)school and around holidays and lunchtimes. The Cafe and coffee shop patrons appear to be the main " over stayers". As a general rule for myself and some other locals if you need to drop to grab something from the markets allow an extra 10-15 mins on top to circle the car park a few times. Most days you can get lucky to nab a spot quickly so dont defer a visit if you want to try the quality produce.
Dont be fooled...they dont have any bricks there...walked around the whole joint and couldnt find anyone who sold bricks....found a place that does bacon and egg toasted sandwiches but so that shut me up..
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Coffee - superb. Also can consume food bought in the centre e.g. cake, sushi, etc 😊😊😊
I really love shopping here. The quality of the food is worth the additional investment. My only feedback is the free water. Could this be reconsidered for a more environmentally conscious freebie?
Love the fresh fruit and vegie market. Also the bakery has terrific Chicken and Leek pies.Very friendly young new Counter Staff member very helpful.
Love coming here to shop, but need more car parking for disabled as always struggling to find a spot. Great selection of shops and restaurants.
Nice shopping precinct. Good selection of eateries, seafood and Deli and a great chemist with excellent staff and service but the 3 males working in the FERRY ROAD WINES and BEER are rude and arrogant! I would never deign to enter that place ever again!! I was bullied and refused service for not wearing a mask as I have a medical exemption. I posted a review WITH the relevant legislation and they gutlessly removed my review as it is a clear indictment of their breach of QLD and federal law.
Parking can be challenging. Shops are okay, price range is high in most shops. Food court is disappointing in options and size. Visual appearance is nice overall.
Easy to park most times. Great variety of shops, Cafe:s, Italian style deli, wine outlets plus fresh seafood plus butchery & other to choose from. Two of my favourites are the Swiss bakery & the Deli next to it
Normally cruise through bakery fnv areas chemist etc, can be hard to find a car park some days, its a shopping area I enjoy, just have to find time to go and browse other shops
Brickworks Centre is a boutique marketplace and Shopping Centre. This includes Ferry Rd Market. There are lots of retail stores like Freedom Furniture & Chemist Warehouse in a retail Park setting, then there is a converted warehouse complex which houses Ferry Rd Market. Its more like an array of speciality food stores than a market in the traditional sense. We went specifically to the bakery, as wed had a recommendation from a NZer who said their pies were kiwi standard. (And they were). There was also a gorgeous smelling Merlo roastery & takeaway cafe, other craft coffee counters, speciality butcher, seafood, grocer, deli, florist, a gelato & juice store, The Source bulk wholefoods and a couple of other homewares retailers.Theres also a few restaurants, The Cardamom Pod, Shogun Japanese and Pearl & Ash.Theres an eating area and bathroom facilities. Lots of parking and if you walk down Ferry Rd, theres a bus stop that will link you up with the light rail/tram.All the stores in Ferry Rd Market are open until 6pm and some of the restaurants are open til late.
The Brickworks Market is centrally located in Ferry Road, Southport, QLD. It has a relatively small footprint in a diverse complex of retail outlets, but the range and quality of its merchandise belies the size of its floor area. I go there when I need something thats not available in ordinary supermarkets (such as Celeriacin my area and always come home with something extra.
Went for the Slim Aarons gallery. Lovely lady. Worth popping in and admiring the art
A fab shopping place with many cool stores to explore. Great food place with a deli, seafood, butchers and bakery. Very artisan. Ample parking and a nice way to wile away an afternoon.
The Salt Cafe is always renowned for a great meal and coffee. Well worthwhile a visit to enjoy the ambience created by super busy but jovial team members.
This upmarket centre boasts great coffee shop, amazing delicatessen, great bakery, a butcher with the best selection of meats, a greengrocer with a great selection of fresh fruit and veg. and a fish shop with very fresh seafood. All in all, everything you could need.
Great variety of shops & cafes with something for everyone. There is also a food hall with a butcher, seafood, fruit & vegetables, great bakery with all the treats & different types of bread, & a European deli that stocks all the meats, cheeses & other delicious treats.A car park can be alittle hard to get some times but if you wait a bit one will come up.Go for a coffee or lunch but make sure you have a peek in the stores as you are sure to find something unique.
Deli, bakery, green grocer, health food store, florist are my favs! So many excellent choices & the very best of cafes & eateries to choose from. Love love love this very buzzy centre! Five star * * * * *
I had recently gone to Reef at Ferry Road markets which i had been doing regularly for at least 7 years. I was gobsmacked and disgusted to be rudely told I could not buy my granddaughter a large chips and sauce from Reef seafood because it was lunchtime and that unless I ordered something else they would not serve me. My granddaughter who had not eaten breakfast, let alone lunch was very upset. Disgraceful customer service. If I was the centre management I would remove these rude people. They are creating a bad shopping experience that will turn people off coming to the markets which will affect all the other businesses. I will certainly not return unless i get a very sincere apology from these rude people. I have always spent a lot of money at these markets and will now take my business elsewhere.
The BEST coffee at Merlo, fabulous seafood and sushi, bulk foods, beautiful butcherie, its so well set out, great deli, delicious smoothies and icecream that never disappoint! Its a nice destination, something for everyone.💜
Positives - nice shops, great food and coffee located in a relaxed atmosphere, worth a visit.Negatives - Have to send my car to the panel beaters because a driver took off after ramming into it. The worst part is that there are no cameras in the car park for privacy reasons. hmm. I am pretty sure they can film whatever they want whenever they want. hopefully one day the cameras will be installed
A very busy, high-end haunt for locals. Great cafes and awesome deli. Parking is sometimes difficult to find but worth the effort. A stones throw from Comfort Plus, a shoe store meeting every need.
Always difficult to get a park!!! Does have a TK Max store though which is excellent. And if you are looking for specialist food items this is the place to go. Will cost you though. The bakery has divine cakes. And the deli is awesome. Fruit and vegetable store is amazing but expensive. Also there is a store where you can buy all your flour nuts etc from bins.
The Brickworks is a pretty vibrant shopping area including a great Marketplace. We used to visit there many years ago, but living at north end of the GC weve not been there for some time. And weve missed a great place! Really enjoy their Marketplace
The brickworks is far from being bad and perhaps 3 stars is lacking in generosity. The bakery was good and the coffee shops look good (i admit i didnt try one). The one and only issue i had (which is minoris a lack of variety in the menu of the food places.
I cant wait to go back and have another rummage around! The deli, florist and cafes are full with exotic and tasty treats. Quite a walk for some with elderly family from place to place, so expect to spend some time. Busy little carpark. Very clean and tidy
Definitely worth a visit . Especially in the fresh good section. Excellent cakes & coffees. Very flash seafood section carrying sashimi grade fish & freshly chucked oysters and lots more. Good deli & bakery not to mention the gelati bar . Good seating area to enjoy all the goodies 😊
Love the bakery and fresh food market. Live there most weekends. Can get packed but there is a fair bit of space to sit down and have a bite to eat. Great range of shops. Can be hard to park in peek times.
Nice upmarket place with lots of delicious quality food.I love the butcher, the bakery and the deli.My favourite smoothies on the cost too.Parking can be a bit of a pain but I always find a spot.
I used to absolutely love this place, it was my go to for food and wine. I generally avoid this place now due to the atrocious parking (not their fault i know, but makes for difficult accessand the decline i have seen in the fresh food and vegetables. Not quite what is used to be. The butcher is still fantastic, as is the sushi and fish store.
There have been some changes here around 2016/17. Trade Secrets (really good cheap clothinghas had a name change. We really like the dining available in the food hall area. Bulk bin confectionery is good for a treat.
