Excellent place for spending your weekend. We still choose this place for making our weekend. Good 👍🏻

The place is pretty cool. Driving up to it, I thought it was closed because the building was all dark but the entrance was around back. We played Poole and darts and had some drinks. The atmosphere is chill and not super busy but still alive. They play a lot of older music with lots of variety. There was a weird mix of people there- different vibes and styles so its a good place to do some people watching. I think anyone could enjoy this bar.

Decent arcade and games zone. Has Axe throwing and other games. The credit are definitely worth the value for money.

What a hidden gem The Break Room was. Got out for a moms night out. We played a few rounds of pool, and what a deal on the triple drink!!!!! Definitely recommend for a fun night out!

I visit this place most weekends for playing pool and having a couple of drinks. I like their overall vibe one can enjoy a good game of pool over here. PS: Their french fries are one of the best( along with the plum sauce). Most of the regional 8Ball and 9Ball tournaments are hosted here, as per my friend who qualified for the regionals from here.

Best Pool Hall in the area, hidden around the back in Waterloo, Good maintained tables, with periodic league & tournament play. Good Vibe, sports on multiple screens with good tunes playing. Cheap beers & drinks, recommended

Great spot! Wouldn’t have realized it was there driving by on Weber as the entrance is around the back. Discovered this spot after doing a Google maps search. Lots of tables, some good players hanging around. Recommended.

The bartender likes to tell you to wear a mask when 80% of the people inside are not wearing masks.Idiots like her need to stay home and not serve the general public.

Forced to pay use an atm and pay with cash because their machines only except credit. iDarts is 1000x better

Visit this place back and December and would definitely come back!There only seemed to be one person handling the floor and bar at the time and she was super nice and amicable. She completely knew what drinks would suit our taste.Got fries, onion rings, and a couple of drinks. 10/10The place had a good amount of sitting and billiard tables and the washrooms were clean. 10/10

If you fancy playing pool this is the best place in Waterloo. Great service, food 👌 but most of all price.

The owner was very kind, well mannered, and veery friendly. The tables and cue stick are in great condition, the place was very clean. If you’re looking for a place to have some fun with friends or a date night with your partner I recommend The Break Room whether you are a novice or a pro, you’re guaranteed to have a good time here.

Kinda hard to find without knowing where it is! Usually, its full of students and the tables are packed. The atmosphere is meh, but the prices for drinks are pretty fair and they have some neat deals.

The door to this place is at the back of the building, not visible from the street, so you kinda have to know where youre going in advance. Its clean but not pretentious or overly decorated, so you dont need a tux to fit in. Tables appear to be in good repair and level. Provided cues are typically a little warped so it was hard to find a straight one. My drinks were cheap, my order of onion rings was *huge*, tasty and cheap. Everything is deep fried, so expect snacks as opposed to meals. Yes I would recommend this place.

I came here with my team for an afternoon work event. It was plenty of fun playing pool and darts and watching the sports games they were showing. The drinks were good and we had an open bar (work perks amiright!). We rented out the whole place while we were there, so it was quiet and everyone knew everyone, but it seems to be a great place just to hang out with friends and socialize, and even meet people.

Great atmosphere and great price for drinks. Keep in mind the tables aint free though. Seems to catch people off guard when the bill is due sometimes.

Decent pool hall. It’s very clean and the crowd was great. However, when we arrived the waitress was very rude and inattentive before assigning us to our tables. When we tried checking out, she was just on her phone (textingmultiple times for a solid 3 minutes before she served us. Sure you can use your phone at work (everyone does...), but do your job and serve the customers first! Worst customer service ever !!! This location is very close to us but we will not be returning.

I LOVE their chicken fingers and fries! They have lots of tables for pool, decently priced. They also have darts for those who just want to grab a bite to eat or get a drink. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the environment is pretty chill.

The bartenders are very friendly and darts are free, there are usually enough pool tables, unless you go on a Friday or Saturday night when its prime time. It is small so be prepared to get cozy with the people youre next too. Other than that its a pretty relaxed place to go when youre looking for a casual drink or a general good time.

The tables are in decent condition and music was ok, but the good news end there. Tables are too cramped, so youre constantly having to excuse and work around others (it doesnt help that the crowd is young and doesnt know better). Also this place needs better and more cues, a group of us 3 had to share 1 cue and it was so badly worn on the end that it felt like each hit was a shotgun.

Have been here a few times now and have always had a great time. Hole in the wall pool hall with maybe a dozen or so tables. Tucked away in a small industrial plaza, the place looks like it used to be an auto shop or something like that. Beautifully decorated with painted concrete block walls and painted particle board, nicely complimented with the smell of a deep fryer. Bathrooms are sub par. Food is awful. Prices more than fair, they are excellent. They also have dartboards which are free to use.Needless to say, go in with the right attitude and youre bound to have a great time. We will be back

Decent place for a casual cheap drink and pool. Kinda loud and brightly lit with a mostly younger crowd the night I was there (21-30). Not a place Id personally choose, but not bad.

I have been there twice on a Wednesday and the customer service has been horrible. First time I went in it seemed like the tall blonde server was having a bad day, just by the way she was speaking to me. She didnt ask how I was, just asked if I wanted a table, I then had to ask her for a drink and she rolled her eyes. I didnt think much of it until I seen her sitting in the back with her friends laughing and ignoring other customers at the bar. Yesterday was my second time, servers playing pool, ignoring customers to talk to friends or boyfriends. No smile or friendly voice. My presences there seemed to be an inconvince to the people working as they would rather play pool and talk to other customers. I will not be coming here again or recomending any of my friends or family to come here. I understand that serving is a hard job as my many of my friends are servers or were. However this level of customer service and service alone was appaling.

Wow, what a hidden gem of a hot spot. This is the second time I have been here. The service staff is a bit thin , other than that its a great spot. Very inexpensive for a night out. The jukebox has something for everyone. The adult drinks are more than affordable. Food was standard deep fried , limited options but addaquite . My homies of 30 plus years had a GREAT night here ( we do this once a year . Everyone there was cool and no attitudes. This place is simply a great spot ( its hidden around backto have a fun time. Its a bit hard to find since its not well marked out front .

Biggest suggestion: use a more visible sign. The black and white suggests this is some sort of retail store. Id never have found it except by word of mouth. Theres a good reason most restaurants use bright colours.Otherwise this place is great. Reminds me of the pool halls of yesteryear minus the blue haze of smoke hanging in the air. Everything is priced reasonably and the staff is great.

Great service and selection. They did some work on my bike and made it feel like brand new for a low price. Not only that but thier hot drinks and baked goods arent like any other. Nice music as well, exactly how a coffee shop should be.

Definitely NOT the sketchy kind of establishment I used to hang out in back in the day. Theyre licensed, the clientele is a fairly even balance of men and women, the atmosphere is relaxed. There were a number of projection screens with hockey games on at the time, and the music was mixed, fun and upbeat.I deducted 1 star for there not being a single snooker table.

Going in early the place was nice and relaxed. Reasonable pricing on tables and the location was well maintained. Dont know how busy it gets during peak but around 5 on a Tuesday is a nice relaxing time.

Good pool, lots of tables but the place really needs a makeover.The staff was friendly but not very professional, not taking my order because the were talking with friends. When I asked what food was good they told me none of it and to basically not eat there. I appreciated the honesty but was hungry. Big mistake. They food was flavorless, greasy, and upset my stomach after eating it. The drinks were low to medium quality with not much variety, which is a shame considering how many good brewery’s we have in Waterloo.To sum up: Waterloo really needs a pool hall. If your going there just for pool it’s passable but if you want to eat, drink, or use the washrooms then id pass. It’s a shame that management can’t fix these issues to improve the place.

The pool and darts are great would recommend for family looking for something fun to do thats cheap. They charge by the hour so thats nice and it not to expensive. Have a nice selection of liquor and great service/fast and friendly.

Awesome staff, I love going here. Tables are in good shape. Drink prices are reasonable. All we need is some Crown Royal and itll be a party.

Saturday nights can be really busy. If you arrive late you have to wait for people to leave to get a cue with a tip on it. A lot of the pocket are ripped so if you hit it right you will have to chase after your ball. Women play for free on Saturdays. Only 1 beer on tap but have the usual beers in bottles. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Great place to play some pool and hang out with friends on weekend nights. Prices are very reasonable and this location is fairly new with good tables and equipment. Can get crowded on weekend nights, but playing darts for free while waiting is fun too.

An awesome place to kill some time on a Friday night. A really nice atmosphere inside, with good music, and lots of laughing all around. I cant attest to the food or drink, but the servers seem friendly. The Break room is a very clean place, despite what you may think as you creep around through the dark parking lot to get to the door.

The staff are friendly. The tables look like there in good shape. The pool cues are a hit or miss, just take the time to ensure that its straight. Not that much selection of liquor and beer, but still enough to enjoy yourself. Overall its a good place to play pool, and there isnt that many of them in the area.

Went here on a Tuesday night with a few friends. The staff were friendly and the pool tables looked to be in fairly good shape. It is definitely one of the few good pool halls in the area. Not much of a drink selection, but a good time regardless.
