Cool pub, chilled vibe, great open mic comedy night.

Best pub in the area in my opinion. Laid back atmosphere in the day. Good for dancing at night. Always playing great tunes and the back garden is a gem!

It’s a shame, I love the pub and the aura around it but the BOUNCERS are the most awful people I’ve come across. 8pm on a Saturday and the pub wasn’t even half full and I had to go through a 12 round interview interrogation into why I wanted to spend my money in that establishment.Be aware of the tall ginger bouncer with a rubbish topknot as he’s the main culprit!

Great pub, good music, can be loud, but always lively. Only issue was kitchen closed earlier than the signs etc said.

Fun music pub, with evenings of live music, quizzes and other special events. Friendly service with an unusual collection of drinks on draft. Small beer garden out back with some private seating areas. Good place for groups.

Fun for an unpretentious night, but dont expect much beyond a Spotify playlist-style DJ, members of the bar staff lacking tact, and of course, the out of date crisps.

I have lived within 100m from the boogaloo for 6 years now and refuse to go into this establishment due to the bouncers/door security. So its ok for me to go in there Sunday to Thursday but as soon as its Friday or Saturday my money is no longer good enough. I personally think they are rude and muscle bound bullies who let the place down. I understand that certain establishments need to have a no nonsense policy but come on it a pub.

Pub, radio, djset, live music. Perfect place for me.

The bar itself was highly recommend, as its known to be warm and friendly with good music and food.So when they started hiring I thought I would apply.Been in the industry a while and have worked in many pubs and different types of pubs, family and food orientated, cocktail bars, formal bars with uniforms.Never in my life I have I ever been interviewed by someone so judgmental and rude. And just by my appearance.The Landlord had made this option on me, thought that I was "grungy looking" "likes my music".Lets point out I was wearing a t shirt with trousers and a leather jacket. When I asked what he meant on what "grungy" looking is he couldnt expand and moved on. Then proceeded to ask me questions about my private life.I have tattoos and pericings. Its 2022, most people have them then not these days. It has never been an issue in ANY job I have had.I was made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable by him.Its such a shame.I hope this man’s bigoted opinion isn’t a reflection on the culture of the pub

Different, fun, inexpensive food and drink. All good. Left bank Paris style. Very friendly staff. Well worth visiting

The bartenders are the best, and this is a very friendly local place with character. There is a jukebox, quiz nights and a garden. The food menu is limited but tasty. They have excellent vegan wings.

I’ve heard stories about this pub and the landlord and never knew it was true until it happened to my partner and myself. The landlord of a gremlin told us to get out for no reason what so ever. We were minding our own business and he came over and said get out. At first I thought it was a joke then I could tell he was being serious. A guy tried to intervene and say they have done nothing wrong but the landlord chose to ignore him. I have never experienced anything like it. It’s a shame as if it wasn’t for the goblin looking landlord this pub would be amazing.

Nice, unusual pub. The garden is cool, plus a great selection of board games inside.

We came in for one drink and ended up staying for, lets say, several. All thanks to Abigail. Top notch and rapid service! Thank you Abigail, well be back!

Swell pub, they have tap of gamma ray which I rarely find it. Abigail, was super adorable, helpful and very friendly. Thumbs up to the place 🤟

Went for a quiet drink minding my own business. 30mins later some random white women called me taliban and was still allowed stay in the premises?!Dirty customers = dirty owner. This bar accepts racial abuse (it’s not banter); Christopher O’Boyle is not fit to run a business.

DJs not very good. Didnt even know what house and garage music was 🤨. People was on their phones, when rubbish music played. Maybe DJs should watch the crowd, and see their reactions

Never had a worst experience with a bouncer for à long time ! Would never happen to me in a bar in Paris ! He refused my friends and I at 00:05 because it was « too late » then he mansplained me.I don’t tolerate that anywhere neither in a bar !

We went to this bar at 00:03 on a Friday evening. The doorman said the doors are closed at 00:00 and asked us to leave in a rude way. He might think he is some kind of a god from greek mythology and us his mignons, but in real world he is a door man and we are the customers. I think he needs to be told about these mechanics.

Just a very bizarre place. I went here for a job interview a few years ago and the owner interviewed me (an experienced bartender / pub managerwho then told me he wasn’t hiring, despite the advert outside. Tonight I went for a quiet pint alone after finishing my shift. Upon approaching the door, he told his bouncer not to let me in. Really really strange.

Absolutely fantastic pub, great food menu- weve tried everything on there and not a single dish has disappointed. Really friendly staff and the cocktails.are unbeatable

We came in on Thursday Evening for dinner. Ordered wings, 2 beef burgers and fries. Food arrived and there was a strong smell of fish. Wings seemed microwaved/really poor quality. Told the staff that we were leaving but just FYI the food smelt and tasted of fish. Was told that they don’t serve fish. I replied that’s odd because it smelt very strongly and they shrugged. Didn’t even ask to see the food we were leaving and no apology.

Great music and quiz. Good place to meet for talking during the day with a coffee, whisky or beer. Gets a lot louder in the evening.Let down by the choice of beers and the toilets

What a great little boozer! We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon enjoying a tasty brunch followed by live music provided by CC Adcock and Swamp Pop legend Tommy McClain. Good Guinness too.

I’ve been eating and drinking at The Boogaloo a good few years now, but the last 2-3 years the food has gone through the roof, seriously the best burgers I’ve ever had in London, and believe me, I’ve tried a few, they beat the daylights out of the hipster pop up kids! The brunches are sublime and weekdays there’s a club sandwich with will leave you begging for mercy..it’s THAT good! Keep it up guys. Loving it!!,

Funky place with a history of live music. Friendly staff and good food with table service. There is a small outdoor patio place for drinking / eating / smoking. The food was more exciting than basic pub fare, more up-to-date gastro style. They also have their own radio station which you can follow online with an eclectic selection. All in all, a really good find.

If youre looking for a classic music bar experience then look no further than The Boogaloo, from the moment we walked in the atmosphere was awesome and the staff friendly, be sure to tune into their radio station too, great place to pop in and return to again and again!

Had a very enjoyable and pleasent time in this wonderful establishment. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and their drinks and food were very impressive. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely environment to spend their free time in.

This place is an absolute gem. Found it at the end of parkland walk after checking out the batcave and stumbled across a pub with a heated whiskey lounge and these mental looking interiors. Elite find

Ive been there few times. But the last time i went with my friends from school there the place was pretty crowded. Thats why we preferred to sit in the small room on the garden side. We were chatting and having fun. Then there is a guy came and told us to move out while they were still serving at the pub. They didnt give us time to finish our drinks. They hadnt warned us about before they told us to leave place. It was really annoying. I dont recommend this place where workers dont treat you well.

Havent been in here for years, but nothing has changed for the worse! Food was great. Jukebox still belting. And outside has been tidied up, too. To be recommended.
