Costumed actors host visitors in 10 terrifying shows telling scary stories from the country's past.
Fun filled and educational spooky experience. Kids were equally thrilled and scared as were the parents. Staff were brilliant staying in character and involving the audience.
The dungeons were absolutely fantastic well worth what you pay. The actors are great. I think this was the best part of our stay in Blackpool.
A lovely experience for myself my wife and my 2 boys. The money well spent. The gentleman on the phone was so patient to reschedule my bookings because it took me ages to find the parking. The staff gave so warm welcome in every corner of all attractions.a lovely actors at dungeons, a creative and skillful staff at circus. Will really visit again. Thank you to all staff and management. I will definitely visit again.
Fantastic!!! The character were brilliant we loved it.Daughter really enjoyed it.Daughter was gutted she was too small for the ride but still Well worth a visit .
Absolutely fantastic attraction went in with my wife the actors were fabulous and very knowledgeable very realistic best place we visited while there very enjoyable
What a amazing and interesting experience, it was lots of fun even though we got ripped on by the actors a few times which made us laugh so much.
Was not keen as Im afraid of the dark, but was my favourite place that we visited. It was a little scary, as well as educational and funny. Staff did an amazing job acting out their roles as we went deeper into the dungeons. Most definitely would go again, well done everyone.
I am posting this using my daughters account. I cannot change the name. We were having a really good time. However, at the end when there is a ride and my daughter was discriminated against on the basis of a disability. Her disability did not feature on their list of reasons not to ride, but she was refused on an outdated one size fits all approach to her disability and they would not listen to me as her mother. This caused my daughter significant upset for no reason. I would avoid if you have a disability.
Really good experience, scary but fun as it was a live show where you walk around different rooms and staff were amazing, highly recommend
I booked cheap tickets for this dungeon with my friend using my McDonalds employee benefits account and we really enjoyed the experience, which was interactive and took us back in time! The staff were friendly and got us checked in, leading through to the gloomy waiting area.
The cast is frightfully amazing and really friendly when you have questions or need to know something. Theyre hilarious and the experience was absolutely wonderful. You get a mixture of delight while learning about the history of blackpool. absolutely wonderful. The escape room is absolutely amazing too and the family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Loved the dungeon experience, would highly recommend it.Sadly on our visit lift was not working due to too many people being packed in.But otherwise worth every penny
Omgoodness it was amazing the actors really do a good job I felt nervous in parts 😬 😅 so glad I was brave and did the last room 😀 🤣🤣
Great place and surprisingly disabled friendly. Have been twice now and my wife loves it. Staff made her feel welcome and helped my wife navigate the shows. Great place one of my favourite places in blackpool.
We decided to visit the Tower Eye. Weather was very poor (no fault of tower eye). Staff very friendly and helpful. 3D cinema looking very dated (needs bringing upto date with 4K). Tower glass floor was great. Open air viewing OK. Long wait times for lifts this is due to limit on people viewing I think. Photo booth poor. Gift shop is a missed opportunity. Lot of gifts are cheap tat. Quality souvenirs of the tower were nowhere to be seen. Overall we left the tower eye disappointed.
Went today and the actors where brilliant got called up to the front to sit in punishment chair but thought was fantastic experience and storytelling must see best attraction Blackpool has now
Been to Blackpool on numerous occasions but never been up the tower. Decided to go this year and loved it. The 4D show was good also. Fabulous and friendly staff. Unfortunately weather wasnt great so seeing out was limited. Will definitely do again on a sunnier day
Fantastic work done by the young actors. Well worth the entrance fee with a pub at the end of the haunting experience! Totally recommended.
Absolutely brilliant time at Blackpool dungeons the staff were very friendly, customer was excellent the story tellers were brilliant, definitely a good place to visit if going to Blackpool, 5 stars from me
We really enjoyed ourselves and all of the different scenes and actors. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are an avid horror fan!
Very enthusiastic staff and pretty good immersion made this a fun experience. I would avoid with very young children though.Clever effects and simple scares make this fun but not too scary.
Loved it! Such a laugh, all the actors were fantastic but the judge was our favourite (stop bashing the Bishop!). Definitely recommend.
Absolutely awesome fantastic for kids of all ages to learn about our past history the actors and actresses were Absolutely amazing made even more enjoyable with a touch of humour loved it

Was good until the end and my 11year old granddaughter was just to small to go on the ride so needless to say none of us went on the ride I think at £54 for 2 adults and 1 child was a lot to pay for 45 minutes to come out feeling disappointed at not getting on the ride I only wish they would have let me know she wouldn’t get on then we would have gone to one off the other attractions
Avoid this if you dislike being trapped in lift in the dark with a load of people and an actor fumbling for a walkie talkie which the person operating the lift then did not answer. Genuinely terrifying for all the wrong reasons. Poorly maintained equipment.
It was such a memorable experience !. I was so scared of heights but I managed to conquer the fear. We had an excellent time.
My daughter is 3 she loves vampires etc and loved it buy can be a bit sensitive for some kids as is a bit to much at times but my daughter likes this kind of stuff.
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST LIVE SHOW EVER! I recommend this attraction to everyone it is so funny. I was accused of being a public bishop basher in the courtroom and had to stand in the dock. It was hilarious and everyone joined in pointing at me and booing and hissing. The actors really do their jobs so very well indeed. The drama your involved in is so much fun and a tiny bit scary at times but honestly….nothing to worry about. It’s our second time here and I will never tire of it. I beg you please go on the ride at the end!!! You will love it…..trust me, if you don’t you will regret it and wish you had!
Would recommend not for those who are easily startled. Such a laugh plenty of jumps in the best way. I was pulled out if crowd and put in trial which was hilarious. The staff are great and obviously enjoy there jobs.
Visited the escape room and was absolutely fantastic. The wee guy who took us in was an absolute hoot, a complete star.Highly recommended, well worth the dough. Failed to escape.
Was brilliant but I do think they should probably have an age restriction. Wasnt really great for my little girl. Adult humour and she was petrified. Was very good tho
I booked this for last as I wasnt really bothered at all. I even considered skipping it but oh man, am I glad I didnt! It was an amazing experience. You are taken through a number of rooms, each containing a story from the 1600s told by an actor. The actors were fantastic, very well performed. Please do give this a shot if youre in Blackpool. We loved it!
Myself and my boyfriend came here yesterday, it was absolutely brilliant! I got selected to go up onto a chair and be part of one of the shows! The actors were incredibly good and knowledgeable. 10/10 would go again!
My girlfriend and I went yesterday and it was absolutely brilliant. The actors are great and terrifying. Would definitely go again
THE BEST THING IN BLACKPOOLIts actually kind of scary in certain parts. The start is very interactive and the middle is spooky with light shoes and an unpleasant suprise then to end it all of u r sentenced to death and go on a huge dropper (which u can skip but it mind of spills the trip)Best thing ever honestly
Entertaining place. Takes about an hour. Enjoyed by myself and 14 year old son.Bit gorey, loud, scary and bright.Probably not suitable for younger children.More about trying to scare you, than educational. £16 to £17 each if pre booked. Reasonable price.I would revisit in the future, but not anytime soon.We combined it with the circus, which is convenient in the Tower together.
I had a wonderful time however we spent money on the key rings and the back does not come off so we are unable to have them. Disappointed these were not assembled for us like Sea Life’s we’re.
Loved it,although the main purpose was to go to a night show listening to Katie Hopkins and Alex Bellfield, managed to visit all the piers,Blackpool tower and other attractions, all in all a brilliant weekend.
An amazing experience the people were very enthusiastic and entertaining! The jester at the start was just so on point! I she was funny scary and just all round fun person! I would actually do this dungeon again solely based on her performance! Heres hoping they do a 18+ event soon!
Had a lovely visit. Went mid week so it was quite quiet. Staff really friendly. Good views even though it was a dull day. Had cocktails at the 380 Bar - recommend this - served by Samantha who was great. The 4D cinema experience was OK but was mostly an advert for Blackpool.
It was brilliant worth the money. Made me and my partner jump and laugh which we done do very often. Thank you very much.It was full of friendly staff good story tellers. If I could put more star I would put another 5 star on the end
Fantastic experience, I highly recommend going with a group of friends of coworkers, its really good fun. The actors are hilarious, the prices are fair for the experience, and the drop tower is actually unexpected! Loved this experience.
The best experience ever. Youre not allowed to take pictures inside but its been a horror comedy show and very good actors. Definitely will go back again
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant... This was my first dungeon experience, and it did not disappoint. The live actors were soooo good the scares were cleverly done and not knowing what to expect and from whom or were all added to the experience. We had a blast, highly recommended
Great fun experience for an hour where you do actually learn a fair bit as well as some thills and frights. Good for the whole family as long as your kids arent too young.
What to the blackpool dungeon on Friday Afternoon had a great time with family inside was dark and spooky & some surprises the Actors telling the storys where fantastic they made the Afternoon . The only down side to this Attraction is the sit drop at the end of it . its not comfortable at all to sit in and the bar that comes down over you to hold you in needs a rethink as when the bar was lowered it presses down on your belly if you are a little bit big so that spoiled it for me as I at to get out of what was an enjoyable day .
We paid a lot of money for the tower experience which was amazing but we queued for over an hour to get to the tower. There was a 4d film before entering which was brilliant and the views from the Tower were amazing. Two stars removed as I begrudge massive companies like this charging the earth for a timed slot where you end up being having to wait so long. Its just money grabbing.
Would definitely recommend. We had a fab time in the dungeon. The actors are great and make the attraction awesome. Some are scary, some less scary, but all really good. They are adhering to social distancing and you have to wear a fast mask. Including the actors. If youre in Blackpool, definitely go here. Its just as good as the London one!
Was a funny experience, wouldnt call it scary although is a few parts may make you jump, was a great experience very entertaining learnt a few thing I was unaware of good actors well played parts, plenty of interaction, bit annoying having to wear a mask the hole way through, but obviously with covid is understandable, as a triple experience tower/dungeon/waxworks was good value for money. Enjoyable, my nxt visit will take the kids
