The cinnamon buns were very dry..must of been a bad day for pastries. But other than that, it was great 👍

Visiting from out of town, we were looking for coffee roasters in the Niagara area and came across Black Sheep. Were so glad we went in! We had great coffee, but also the most amazing visit and great conversation with Lucas and the staff. We will definitely be back!

Amazing turnover. I came here for the coffee as a pit stop on our way home but I can honestly say that the turnover was the best one Ive had in years. Coffee was so fresh and tasty, not overly sour or bitter - just right. Great staff and awesome vibe (so much art!). If I lived here I would definitely be a regular, but for now Im going to just remember it fondly.

Have not been since July of 2021 however looking forward to seeing familiar faces again when in the area.Always fantastic service, genuine caring for their guests and Lucas works hard to ensure success of business.

Amazing coffee! I highly recommend “cherry bomb” which uses cherries from a local farm.The employees are so nice and helpful and I visit Black Sheep every time I’m in the area.

Awesome atmosphere w/ a delicious selection of hot & cold drinks (Inc. Seasonal specials- the iced pumpkin pie latte was FANTASTIC!

Always really friendly and have really good espresso! There drinks are never too sweet and the coffee is never bitter. They have a walk up window at the side and a walk in store front. There is a parking lot so you dont have to park on the street. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and accept cash/credit/debit/tap. A must stop while in Welland!

Amazing brew, staff, location, and selection. Parking is available on the street or on the North side of the building. Ample seating inside, events have happened on site for music, local art etc. If your looking for quality Cup of Joe or something fancy this is the place to go to in Welland. They also sell coffee beans if you want to make it at home.

Reasonable prices. Really knowledgeable staff, and great coffee. I really like their surprise me idea and the place is great for any coffee enthusiast or someone wanting to step up their coffee game.Their bags of coffee at the time of writing is $20 each, and I certainly will be looking to buy local from here in the near future.Staff was extremely polite and helpful despite it being my first time in a enthusiast coffee shop since getting into coffee. I left happy with my purchase and happier than when I came in.Keep up the good work.

Stopped by this morning on our way through Welland. Awesome spot. The owner was enthusiastic and seemed excited to meet us. Fantastic coffee and pastries were a bonus!

Hello again I am giving you five stars because of how amazing your Ceasar salad was ! Now this isnt a bribe but I will continue to shell out these five star reviews like its Dolla bills at the club if you return this glorious salad to me. Through these trying covid times I have wanted nothing more then to relive the glory days of that salad. So for my mental health please bring back the best Ceasar salad I have ever had !

I was looking for a new place to have a coffee and study. By the recommendations of people on the restaurants of Niagara Facebook page I chose to visit Black Sheep Lounge. I was not disappointed. Coffee was great and I received service with a smile. I will definitely be back.

Been once. Will definitely return when I am in Welland again. Very friendly and engaging staff. Got take out but the cafe interior seems to have a chilled vibe. Got some Cherry Bomb roasted coffee beans.... amazing.

One of our favourites from our Canadian Coffee Collective subscription. We were skeptical of the cherry roast, but it ended up being absolutely fantastic, and we can’t wait to get it again sometime!!

Even though I have multiple coffee machines and types of coffee at home, the Black Sheep blend they use in their espresso drinks is superb. Couple that with a cranberry-orange scone and Im good to go.Cosy, inviting atmosphere in the Cafe itself.My only complaint is I wish they opened earlier and stayed open later.

It is hard to find a great coffee shop when I’m traveling for work and I’m so stoked I found this place. If you’re a person who goes to Tim Hortons or Starbucks often that is fine, but I beg you to come here and get a real espresso or latte.

Best coffee spot on the planet! Great selection of coffee and amazing people making it too. The atmosphere is really unique and welcoming and they even have a fun "surprise me" option if you can decide what kind of coffee youd want. Had a lot of coffee in a lot of different spots but this is hands down the best

It has an amazing atmosphere complemented by the fantastic smell of coffee roasting if youre lucky enough to drop by when its happening.Hadnt had a decent espresso in a long time till today. Will come back for sure.

This place is great. The service js excellent and friendly and go out of their way to help you. They are knowledgeable and experienced about their product and will answer your questions about their coffee. It is fresh roasted coffee which makes a big difference in the flavor. They also have a quick serve menu for now but normally have full service. I highly recommend Black Sheep lounge for your coffee needs and a unique experience. (They make a really good Mocha)

Food was excellent service was great. Items for sale based on coffee stuff was good as well. Got myself a self drip coffee with filters. Will be back soon. Ty Black Sheep. Pancakes were unreal super yummy. Steak and eggs were incredible steak was perfect!!!!!

Amazing as usual! Enjoyed chocolate chips pancakes during Sunday allday breakfast and they came with delicious homemade sausage patties. Wouldnt have been a stop at Black Sheep Lounge without a cup on their In- House Roasted coffee 🙌

I always have the best experience at The Black Sheep Lounge. Whether its a quick stop in for an almond milk latte, or enjoying more time to have a bite to eat. One of my favourite places in Welland. Great atmosphere with even better service.

Very much enjoyed the food, the coffee and the atmosphere. The coffee was great. The food (a bit pricey but understandable for fresh ingredientswas delicious. I loved the breakfast potatoes and my friends latte was a work of art. Will for sure be back to try more off the menu!

Finally got to try this place out ...The verdict is, I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was just as good.I had a Cappuccino and my GF had I believe "devils Mocha" (hot chocolate with 2 espresso shots in it)They have games or cards to play if you wanna just chill.The best way to describe this place is Perks from the show Friends.... Its somewhere I can see myself going on a regular basis to just hang out and have a good cup of coffee....5 stars people!!!

Stopped in for lunch ( I only have a half hourand was pleasantly surprised by the Friendly staff and what to date looks to be the best Taco salad I have ever had! Definitely gonna come back and try the coffee.

The Black Sheep Lounge is a must go to place in Welland. Its got a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and great coffee. Staff are friendly and great to talk to.This place actually roasts their own coffee beans, giving their coffee a flavour that serves up a really unique experience. A great locally owned and operated location.

Great ambience here. It felt like this place is usually full all the time! Black sheep lounge is a family owned restaurant, and if I remember correctly, it was voted Ontarios best cafe for a couple of years recently. The service was quick and the food amazing! Would definitely go back again!

What a lovely spot! Its got the coolest chill vibe, great food, great tea and coffee, and nice service. Well be back for sure!

The food is delicious. The atmosphere is inviting. I love all the paintings they hang for sale around the restaurant. They also have an extensive vegetarian menu. Usually most restaurants have one or two vegetarian dishes that are mediocre. The Black Sheep lounge makes vegetarian dishes I want to eat and Im not even a vegetarian. My sister is and she had mushroom and leek pot pie that was in a creamy cheese sauce. She loved it. Ive also had their pulled turkey chili that was so good and unlike any chili Ive ever tasted. The coffee is great too. Im very happy I found this place.

Best thing to happen to Welland in decades! First off- house roasted coffee, super fantastic. They serve excellent dishes, or you could just grab a pastry and coffee. Perfect spot for reading or at night they usually have some cool events. Lucas the owner is super involved in our community, Im proud to support an establishment that acts as a beacon of hope for our town.

This should be one of your main stops if you are passing through or staying in Welland. The high ratings of this place speak for itself. One of the best hangout spots in the city, with ethical food and drink at a good price. The owner is really friendly and treats you like family as soon as you walk through the door. This family owned restaurant is one of the gems in this city and I cant recommend it enough.

My wife and family love this place in the Heart of Historic Welland . The atmosphere is very welcoming and unhurried. The coffee fantastic and the food is very good and affordable. The staff is always friendly and treat there guests very well. My wife and her friend feel very comfortable and relaxed at this place thanks. plus as a bonus a fantastic Bakery is next door. Dont let the street fool you there is lots of parking out back. You are also minute walk to some of Welland History of A canal Town. Highly recommended a great addition to Welland! Love the Murual.

What a wonderful place to eat. The food was flavorful and the staff was extremely friendly. Gave us directions to local businesses and attractions.

Made the 20 minute drive from the Niagara Falls area to try this restaurant tonight, and I wasnt disappointed at all! My wife had the turkey burger and loved it! I had the chicken and corn bread pancakes and loved it! We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.
