The Black Rock Pub in San Bernardo

Best general boozer in town. Beers very good, food I had was cheap and simple. No complaints. Staff attentive and not left waiting.

Took me a while to realise it was in the courtyard but it was very nice and cheap. Happy hour is 17:00-22:00. I received free chips and the Pisco sours and cider was great. I met some cool guys and had a great night. Thankyou Black Rock Pub 🤘🏻

Have to try the Barros Luco in masa madre...hmmmmm...nice, very nice!!

A real gem of a place. Good beer and good food at reasonable prices. Probably the most authentic fish and chips in South America!

Wonderful place. Friendly service. Quality beers in reasonable prices. Food is very tasty and not expensive (according to my local friends). However, I was mostly interested in tasting beers and talks with the owner. Cheers from Poland (Where to buy postcards in Santiago?).

Amazingly tasty! I found out by luck walking around. I noticed a tiny shopping center and several people sitting at tables in a small area amidst the shops. The food is typical, simple and very tasty. The service is great and very fast. I recommend the chicken empanadas (pollowith Krosss local IPA beer. It seemed to me that the place is frequented by cult people.

Nice place for a beer, pretty decent range all in bottles. Was full when I visited with lots of groups of friends out for a drink. Had a plate of meat and chips topped with egg (forget the namewhich was huge, even though I got the small! Great plate of junk, perfect for drinking. Didnt even get near finishing it though I wanted to.

Was looking foward to visiting this place.... Was I bit disappointed. Big beer choice but only from bottles. Bit of a dive.

A very nice little pub in Providencia. I came across it while looking for a pub to watch EPL and was also curious about the reason of the name (having family in Black Rock , Dublin).Turns out my senses took me to the perfect place. Good beer and friendly service! Estaré de vuelta

I asked for a can of coke at the bar and they refused to sell me one.. the owner is very violent to attend people and the bar has no good drinks... The lunchs are made with bad quality ingredients and everything with meat it looks very wrong.. not a good option..

The Black Rock (TBR to its fansis a special hideaway for people in the know. Come for its effortless patio seating in the summer and stay for the winter in its underground keep during the winter to celebrate all it means to be an Austral outcast. The fish and chips are stellar as well.

Great selection of beers. The empanadas are a must. Dont forget to ask for board games ;)

Plentiful amount of craft beers to choose from, nice terrace. Service could have been better and the food really could have been better.

I found this place when I was a lonely gringo wandering the streets of Santiago. My spanish is awful so finding a bar with bilingual staff was huge for those first few days. Great beer selection and I ordered a pasta dish that I had never heard of which turned out to be delicious. There were lots of Chilenos there as well, so its not always packed with expats. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great beer and great food.
