Good Indian food. Great karaoke night.

Such a great night! Great food and drinks and reasonable price. Live music was also fantastic! Have been a few times and would definitely reccommend!

Visited for the first time and I was incredibly impressed! Best indian food Ive tried, especially the chilli garlic mogo and divo’s chicken wings. We were greeted by friendly bar staff and waitresses were attentive to us throughout the whole night. Can’t wait to visit again during the christmas period for a karaoke night.

Best mixed grill I’ve tried in the area. Pub has a family feel to it as well with friendly staff and incredible service. Will definitely visit again soon and recommend it to others!!

We reserve a table in the lounge, great spot.The waitresses were very polite and not pushy.We ordered our drinks 1st, then we ordered our starters.Onion Bhaji and Chilli Panner.No chillis in the Panner but still spicy.We waited 20 before ordering our mains.2x Butter chicken which was spicy.Chicken Tikka Masala spicy.Goa chicken curry spicy. Spicy. Funny thing is they all looked the same colour.We had to wait 10 minutes for the Goa chicken to arrive when the rest of the table had nearly finished eating. The kitchen staff were very slow on Saturday evening.The music was good and the karaoke great idea. 👍

The chicken 🐔 byriani was very good but I was very disappointed because it was very spicy ! I told them please dont make it spicy! They didnt listen😪

What a hidden gem in Ruislip area, we booked for Koroga Kenyan cooking experience, the taste was absolutely astonishing, never tasted lamb on the bone like that before, truly delicious, service was 10 out of 10, bar had great options of draft beers, the starters were too good specially Lamb chops and garlic chilli mogo. what a great Saturday night we all had, the karaoke host was amazing we could not stop singing whole night. Highly recommend this pub, definitely will be booking soon again.

Food is decent but in the evening they had a comedy night and if you werent apart of it, it felt like you werent welcome.

Despite us having a large group the service from Theresa was amazing! The food was delicious too.

We went to an event at the Black horse on Sunday evening. We had brilliant night live music followed by stand up comedy. The food was great the atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very warm welcoming and friendly. I would recommend the black horse to anyone looking for a good night out on event evening or quiz night or just to a quite drink and a catch up with friend or family.I has a lovely garden that can also be enjoyed on these lovely warm evenings.

Eaten here twice Alacarte and the Kroga. The lamb chops on the mixed grill were charred. Lamb Kroga tasted like mutton and had gristle. Staff are nice but owners do not get back to you! Many better food places like Prince of Wales in Southall

Absolutely amazing pub!!! Best in the area for authentic Indian food and drinks, I love it here and especially the special koroga concept. Service is outstanding, the team is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will keep coming back!

Absolutely disgusted by this place! Made a booking for Father’s Day only to be turned away at the door(with 2 young kidsas they had no space. Worst is I rang 1 hour before reaching to confirm the space! AVOID AT ANY COST!

Had chicken tikka and salad lunch time, could have fed two people, food excellent and very reasonable.

Nice Pub but was disappointed as the kitchen closes around pm.Was looking forward to tasting their delicious dishes from the menu.

Lovely food and excellent customer service thus 5*sI visied on 9th and 12th May for a takeaway and must say that the two young hostesses were very efficient and friendly. Happy to recommend this place for delicious food.

Cor blimey it really does give me a smile on my face to see a pucker establishment such as this one. Having a ruby and Stella afterwards is top top experience however the butter chicken was a bit too hot for my liking. I think a muslamic cooked because it smelt like a bomb as well. I was enjoying my Stella until I saw the pub allowing muslamics in the area to which point I had to evacuate since my sovereignty was being undermined.

Food was good but the pub was chaotic and loud. Booked a table but they lost our booking, had to sit outside. Had to wait 10.mins at the bar to get served for a drink. This was our 3rd anniversary celebration night and after good recommendations for this place was rather disappointed. Would go again as it is walking distance from home but hope for better experience as is not cheap.

The staff are so welcoming and warm.The Indian food is absolutely 10/10. We ordered lamb chops which were so flavoursome and juicy! The chilli and garlic Mogo is divine, I could not stop eating.We didnt manage to get any pictures because we were so ready to eat all of it! Really great place, would highly recommend.

I was looking forward to eating here. We has mixture of traditional pub and Indian. I was disappointed with fish and chips as it was commercia processed. Someting you would expect in supermarket cafe. Indian food was ok. The beer is reasonably priced. Sorry I did not find any USP to go back

Good local pub in the area. Selection of beers on tap is good and food is very good - although slightly disappointing that "The Sizzler" mixed grill came out on a serving board, rather than the traditional sizzling plate. Live football is shown, so would definitely return.

Went here for mothers Day and I must say the service we received was incredible. I forget the name but the lady who served us really made us feel at home, exceptional service and she really did go over and above to ensure we had everything we needed.The food here was also very nice, if youre looking for great food, fabulous service at a very good price you must visit!

Highly recommended for birthday celebrations! I had my husbands 40th birthday drinks at this venue and reserved the restaurant area. I pre ordered food and drinks for the event and the service provided by all the staff on the night was amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time and loved the food too! Thank you to Sharon, Teresa and their team for making this a great experience and an amazing birthday for my husband.

Karaoke was on when I went. Friendly local type pub. Had a few Indian snacks while I was there. Food was lovely. Next time Ill go to eat a full meal.

We had such a lovely night here for our Daughters 18th birthday last night. We had a large group booking and we really couldnt have asked for a better night. Sharon dealt with our booking and she was amazing from start to finish, just so helpful and did everything she could to make our night go to plan and more. All the staff were absolutely amazing, organised and accommodating, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was just something else, such a lovely pub.We booked the outdoor area for the Kenyan koroga but due to awful 80 mph winds yesterday it was decided we would be inside, William the koroga chef and all the staff did such an amazing job to still give us the best night.The band were amazing too and even sang happy birthday when the cake came out. Massive effort from everyone 🥰We want to thank you for everything, Our daughter had a lovely 18th and we will definitely be back 😊 x

Update* rectified by owner and staffSecond visit decent with good food and drinks quality.We went on a Saturday night and given a poor table in the lounge. No service whatsoever. We had to get up of our seats everytime to ask a question. Wont ge going there again unfortunately.

It was my first visit to this place and I really loved it! If in eastcote please do visit it, good range of menu, nice pub with outside seating and good staff! Highly recommended

Quite liked The Black Horse in Eastcote - good Indian Restaurant with a few desi style pub classics paneer tikka wrap with chips etc.,.we were there on Tuesday Night and they have a cards night which looked brilliant might have to give that a go. But overall a nice pub with a good Indian Restaurant menu. Service porovided by the waiting staff was good - they were all lovely polite etc., overall a good evening

Visited for the first time to try the ‘Kenyan Koroga’, really great tasting food - flavoursome and very fresh. Would highly recommend for someone looking for a different and unique dining experience. I will be back and recommending to family and friends!

Went here for my partners 18th and honestly the best night out Ive had out in a long time - and no word of a lie the best pub Ive been to. The staff were so friendly and welcoming - despite there being 30+ people in our group to cater for (which must have been a massive pain in the arse knowing us lotthey were absolutely brilliant.The whole atmosphere was amazing and spirits were high all around the whole night the other customers there were so friendly.The outdoor set up was perfect for the group and the whole night genuinely could not have gone better!Perfect & wide selection of drinks with great prices and a fantastic DJ and karaoke on the night that got the whole pub involved!Definitely will be coming back soon thank you so much for everything :)

Lovely visit to the Koroga at the rear of the Black Horse again. William was great as our host and guided us through cooking both the veg and non-veg meals. Starters were great too.If there is one change Id want to see, Id say offer up more veg dishes that can be cooked. Seems to be just the one on offer every time Ive been here. But other than that, a great evening with friends.

Best tasting Indian food in the whole of the UK. Koroga is a must must book - I went back there twice in 2 weeks because the taste was just INSANE

First time I went to this place, the food and service were great. Ordered a mixed grill along with other food. It was really nice to see that the food did have different flavours. Second time we went was this bank holiday. Great service, they were very hospitable got us a table... Brilliant. Ordered the mixed grill again, and this time everything tasted the same and the mince was raw in the sheekh kebab, we did mention this to Mick and he was great and honest, apologised etc. We later found out if you look in their website its owned by "Nick and Barry"... They dont, they havent owned it for over a year and a half now, not that it makes a difference, but its just a bit disappointing, you can see this is a lovely place but its going down the route of all the other Indian pubs in the area, same tasting over priced food, loud blaring Indian music, nothing different to the other Indian pubs... This is a really nice place, lovely gardens, dog friendly and fantastic staff but unfortunately you can see this going down the route of another local dirty Indian man pub. I would go back but as someone has mentioned it is overpriced for what you are getting food wise. Thanks again to Mick, and all the bar and table staff, you guys make this place!!!!To your response:There is in no way any grudge aimed at the new owners, especially when we do not know you at all, please do not throw accusations around.My review was just an honest opinion from both observation & experience!!Indian music was being played inside even though football was on, which we heard when going to the toilet.The mention of "Nick & Barry" was from what we had seen on the website prior to visiting, and it does seem that the website has now been edited - which is fair enough, we have no problem with this at all!!!I did not call either the customers or any member of staff a dirty old man, I said you can see the venue "going down the route of another local dirty Indian man pub" - please re-read my review. Worthwhile experience. The normal food menu is good and service attentive. The koroga is not your usual Indian fair... you get to cook your own over a bbq (all ingredients provided - chicken/lamb/veg). You can also bake pizzas in the oven oven. The staff are on hand to help and you can top up from the main menu (might be needed if your creation doesnt pass the taste test!). Nice beer garden.
