Friendly staff and very rich salad.

Love the salads here! It can be a little pricey if you are buying for a whole family.

June 6, 2019 ... In town from Flint .. 1st time customer. .. Antipasto sub and Broccoli Cheddar soup ... Not impressed. .. soup had no flavor ... Had better subs at subway ... very disappointed and a soft drink $3 ... Wouldnt come back if we lived in the area ... Feel the prices are too ... 😔

Advertised as "healthy", its really just a more expensive version of SUBWAY with lower quality ingredients. The salad is only good if its doused in dressing. The meats and cheeses are nearly flavorless. The bread is hard and tough.If you want good food for similar prices, go to Songbird across the lot.

Salad and Salad Maker were great. Enjoyed the salad and soup. Maker was pleasant, courteous, and didnt mind my changes to a pre designed salad. Checkout, however, had major issues! She sets cups, rim side down, on a counter that shows hundreds of finger/hand prints (GROSS). My friend didnt get her roll, and when she tried to tell the girl, she ignored her, and never provided it (my friend eventually gave up and walked away). A customer had issues with a transaction, and the girl stood there, staring at the register, like it would fix itself (instead of communicating with the customer or getting help from a coworker). Horrible customer service - from checkout. All other customer service seemed stellar. Checkout may want to reconsider her career choice.

If you are a soup and salad lover, this place is for you. The choices on the menu are so extensive that it takes a little bit of doing to get started ordering for the first time diner. However, this is a distinct plus if you like to go there regularly. It would take dozens of visits to become tired of eating there. Each time I have been there the salads are terrific. They are also quite sizable so that you dont get hungry again by about 3 in the afternoon.Their soups are also delightful. TryThe Big Salad. You will be glad that you did.

Never been a salad guy but in trying to eat healthier I decided to give this place a try. I was very impressed, great salad, great customer service. Ill definitely be back again.

The salads really ARE big here...and the ingredients are fresh. I recommend creating your own salad instead of ordering one of their standards. I ordered a standard but my friend created her own, and hers was MUCH better. We did not try the sandwiches yet...

I love the how fresh and crisp their salads are, and having the option to pair your salad with a sandwich or soup means theres plenty of variety. This store tends to be in the quiet side and during peak times it can be tough to find parking. They do have two dedicated 15-minute parking spaces for folks picking up though.

Friendly service, healthy meal, comfortable atmosphere. Pricing model seems to discourage the small salad, and the "big" one is indeed big.

Super Fresh delicious options. Build your own is the choice for me but they also have wraps and signature salad options.

Didn’t pay attention, and 5 secs later, half bottle of sesame ginger dressing is in my bowl. Too much calories and too sweet...

A good place for healthy dishes, with emphasis on vegetables. Generous serving size, a huge list of fresh ingredients.

Its more than just salads. The food is really good. This is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant.

Its a bit on the pricey side for a salad, but the variety & quality are excellent. Its not the fastest meal but its very tasty & theres tons of options. Theres a parking lot but it can get busy.

Salad was swimming in dressing, lettuce was soggy and wilted. Employee was more interested in speed of service than the result, which was odd since there was no line. There are better options on Plymouth road.

Awesome, quality food a a reasonable price. Kevin, the owner is always there out front making sure the operation runs smoothly. Stop in and enjoy.

It is convenient and healthy. A good way to take in vegetables and fruit if you are not customed to eating them!

Love how big the salads are. Made fresh, fast, and friendly. A little pricey, but enjoy the freshness.

Decent salads, though I prefer the wraps.

The menu is expansive and the food decent. The soda machine has unique options with real cane sugar. The store is clean but rather bottle-necked at the entrance. It was entirely empty when I visited and the staff seemed disinterested or tired, and there was only one. I enjoyed it but am not necessarily eager to return!

Out of multiple items not organized yet .. two salads and 1 sandwich $ 28.......no drink ..? Hopefully Will get better...good luck 🎈

1st time eating here.If I could give 0 stars I would.10$ for a cobb salad with barely any turkey in it.It was a big soggy slopped up mess even though the dressing was on the side.Lettuce tastes bad. I gave my friend the roll that came with the salad and she said it was nasty.I tried a piece and yes it was indeed not good.I took 3 bites of the salad and gave up.The dressing was awful.I was better off getting a salad from the hospitals cafeteria and thats not a joke.I assumed that a place called the big salad would make amazing salad.My 10$ is in the trash.

Wonderful experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful even suggesting alternate items if I remove something from a salad. Huge portions and so fresh! Will definitely be back!

Made-to-order salads in front of you. Fresh ingredients and delicious combinations on the menu, or you can create your own. Staff has always been friendly, and the place is never too crowded or too long of a line to get in and out quickly.

Offer student discount, reasonable price, friendly waitress.

The Salad is OK but over priced. But even worse is the service. Not sure who is running the place but the server seems to lack the capacity to understand the menu. Not one time have I gone there a got help from anyone who knows what to put in a wrap or even how to ring it up. BTW if you are going to charge me per item, you do not get to throw away my excess salad simply because it does not fit in a WRAP!!!Owners likely need to pay better salary to get more capable individual to service customers.

I asked the salad maker, who is also the owner, to make sure the lettuce was not frozen, like it was the last time I was there. I spent $13 and got back to work to find that the lettuce was indeed frozen with many pieces being transparent. Im so hungry, and I cant go back out right away because I have to listen to a webinar. I was planning on eating my expensive salad while listening to the webinar. This totally sucks! Im returning the salad after the webinar and getting a refund while giving them a piece of my mind.

For a salad that costs $6.99 - I would expect for the lettuce not to be brown - it should all be fresh since salad is the specialty of the restaurant. It was my first experience and a bummer because I work in the area and it would have been nice to eat there frequently and recommend this restaurant for catering for gatherings at my workplace - but - they need to work on the freshness of the lettuce.

Bad, droopy, tasteless lettuce, which is a pretty bad thing to have at a place called Big Salad. Dressings arent very delicious either and I tried a variety. I really wanted to like this place since I eat a lot of salads and its close to me, but its just not good.

First time visiting this new restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and food was excellent! The salads are plenty big and can be customized anyway you like. Love how the salad is chopped right in the bowl for easy eating. Great location being close to U of M North Campus. Love having a healthy option to the many fast food places nearby. Delicious, you choose your own everything and there are lots of options.

This was my first visit. I ordered the "Club". Nice that the nutrition facts were displayed for the soups, I ordered a cup of the chicken noodle. The food prep servers were very nice and helpful. My food was "to go" and when I got back to the office, I was surprised how small the salad was for $8. I also notice that weird smell you get from fast food salads sometimes, I dont know if it is due to food preservative or what, but I did not enjoy it. The soup was a bummer because it was so salty. It looked like it would have been good if not for that. It was an expensive lunch ($12for small salad and cup of soup, especially when it was disappointing. Also there should be more than one door. People have to wait to leave if someone is coming in.
