Very bad experience dining here.

10yrs agoIt is a place to gofer local cooked western..Now the place kind of not properly kept..It is sad...Plenty of memories from this place

Ive been coming here since i was a kid, this place used to be so big and beautiful, but the food is still the same, this place was literally my favorite place to eat, even after i move away from my parents i still come here once a month to eat.

I use to come here often as a student around 1999 until 2002, when I stayed nearby. This shop was very popular back then.Food taste and portion is excellent.But some of the side dishes is not as fresh. Most dishes have many side dishes.I put up pictures with a power bank for size comparison.

Dine in at 6 pm with 10 pax..still got many vacance table..the serving is a bit late but the portion is big..can share 2 people with 1 serving. The drinks a bit tasteless, can improve..

Great ambience with all satisfying-looks cuisine. Bring your family to eat here as it is worth and aligned with their name. Also, they had a great customer service too.

Still the same old style cowboy steakhouse. But taste dropping maybe sure to my agreeing taste bud

I used to come here at times as a kid. I must say the quality of their food has deteriorated. The staff is quite friendly but thats it, really. Not worth paying that much for a meal. Kinda feeling disappointed and cheated. Customers deserve better.

The first time go zoo taiping...i was so hppy....clean and peacefull...

Very bad service. I been sitting there like 10 minutes, but no one comes and serve. I have to take the menu myself and calling the waiter to take order. Once the food ready, have to wait several minutes for them to serve to my table. What a bad service provided, but charged us with quite high rate. The food is just okay. The only thing good about this restaurant, the food is big portion. Definitely not going to repeat this restaurant.

Big portion, service a bit slow, ample parking space. Price wise? ok la.

Been years since my last visit to this place. The soup is EXCELLENT just as I remembered. Ordered 1 beef dish and 3 chicken dishes. Our compliment to the kitchen team, as all are delicious. Please improve on the roasted chicken though. All in all, a satisfactory meal. 👍

Great ambience, western food served here , really delicious with generous portions. Price is very reasonable as well, really love eating here when i feel like eating western

Food is good but the service is super slow.. Easily took 45 minutes just for nugget & fries... Which restaurant is not full house, 30% occupied. Will not come again, suffer for the children.

The mushroom soup bread is the main specialty here. A big bread filled with hot mushroom soup. Yum! Recommended!

I wont be returning. Waited an hour for food. The simplest menu was served the last. They also missed one order even after we repeated. Funny when the latter customers got their food first despite we arrived and ordered our food way earlier. The waiters never smile. And its so sad to say the food was not what we expected. But thank you anyway for serving us.

I ordered the mushroom soup which is served in bun. Tastes superb. Not salty and yet flavoursome. My son who is a fussy eater polished off my soup b4 I could say hey!?Lemonade is good but jumbo size cup could be bigger tho. Like old times sake.

Ribeye, nice food but waiting time... If you patient enough, else dont...

I ordered two western meal as the photos attached. As an overall, the taste is acceptable. This restaurant serves quite a large portion of meal, they were not stingy at all when it comes to fries.There were some points I have to pinpoint. These are the reasons that I deducted one star.1. The waiting time a bit long as I had waited for 25 minutes for both orders to arrive. For your information, there were only one table being occupied and their orders were been served.2. The freshness of side dishes given. The tomato was not fresh as it was like a bit rotten from the inside.The staffs were very friendly and ready to help. Keep it up.

First time came here back in 2004. The service already slow at that time andddd til now 2019! The foods here no doubt consistently tasteful but seriously, can the owner of big plate or the manager improve the service pls? Like pls? No one attend to give menu and take orders and there were only 2 tables Need to find menu and go straight to the kitchen to order our food. I can see my food on the counter table from my view but no one actually there to take the food and serve it to us. The service is that bad. Its making me think whether should i take my own food from the counter? So i give 2 stars for the food and a star tor the service. Big plate, pls do something with the service. Hire waitresses/waiters pls as i can see only 2 men working here. They are the cook and taking orders.

Service was lousy. I had to wait an hour for a mushroom soup and fish & chips. The table next to ours got their food first. Mine never arrived. So I left. Hungry and angry.

Big portion good food but lack in taste

Disappointed with my childhood memory place. The environment is smelly and the price are super expensive for a poor quality of taste. Basically unsatisfied & disappointed.

a great sharing dining in a plate. if you just want to taste in a group why not? add some others surprising n delicious food not just by name. Good for family, friends and even small celebration. Just dont order a food for one person unless for a big appetite like young man.👍🏻

Ordered lamb chop which was quite pricey for its serving. Taste is just above average. Food service was slow considering that only one table ahead of us and we had to wait almost twenty minutes. This place has seen better days.

Went to this place about 10 ++ years ago and loved the environment and hospitality at that times.Thinking of the mushroom soup in the bread made me and family went for our early dinner.Interior were different but exterior looks the same. Female staff that take our order is not that friendly and should be at least smiling to customer when taking order.We received our order but sadly do not taste like what I expected. Just ok for us to eat.While we were eating, the female staff and another staff that I assumed the person cooking sit and eating their dinner.It was fine with me since there were no other customers inside but they were also talking loud while eating and we were still inside finishing our meals.Should be a bit more professional and hope it can be improved better in future. Tq

I went there as the memory of 5-7 years ago was great, unfortunately i was very disappointed by the food and the staff.Last time the ambiance was welcoming, this time the ambiance and atmosphere is very gloomy unwelcoming.I ordered chicken piccata the price is quite expensive for chicken, but the product and taste is awful i am only able to eat the pasta the chicken not at all.The bread for the soup is very dry, overall will delete this shop from my list as it is too bad and dont get me started with the toilet or washing sink 👎👎👎👎👎

Good western food with reasonable portions. Ample parking. The mushroom soup served in large buns/bread is good. The reasons why I gave only 3 stars1. They dont accept credit cards2. Prices have increased3. Under staffed. Only 2 at the kitchen and 2 on the floor during peak periods so do expect delays4. Some items on the menu were not available

this used to be my favourite place while growing up but the quality had drop. hope there can be improvements for the better

Big Plate literally serves food on big plates 😂 if you’re not that hungry then, you should share one meal. That should be enough.

Not recommended to western lover or to any friend or family members. The lamb chop I’ve ordered was cold seems like they reheat back the already cooked lamb chop and claimed its been cooked freshly. With the pricey price Rm 29 for so called “kambing banting” and common(which u can get from petronas station“sandwish tuna” for price of rm16. Its my first and last visit. Thanks big plate. 👌🏻

I came here for their ramadhan buffet. Had high expectations for it. But it all came crashing down when i had to use the toilet to take wuduk. The lights were dim, the sinks were cloged, smelly & i end up going to the nearest mosque. Food was okay, didnt finish it. Not enough plates & cutleries. Thank god the drinks are good. My first & my last time dining in here.

The worst restaurant Ive been too. I went during Ramadhan for iftar, the toilet was insanely disappointing, no lights, looked creepy, all sinks were clogged, the smell was horrendous, even my school toilet was 10 times better. The food came late, and for me, its wasnt good at all. There wasnt sufficient plates and cutleries, I had to share plates. Used dessert spoon for my main dish. The drinks were good though.

A bit slow on the service. But good food quality and excellent portions.
