Attentive service, amazing selection, chill vibe. Didnt get food, so Im withholding the fifth star arbitrarily.

Not a sports bar, soccer is on 24/7, even reruns before showing any live relevant events of other sports. Beer selection is good but always from the same selection of breweries.

The spicy schnitzel was amazing, the Pilsner was perfect and the service was excellent. Kindred spirit, go Steelers

Just passing through town.An incredible selection of European and North American craft beers (read no Coors light), Jazz and proper Blues playing in the background.Delicious food with some dishes honouring mittleuropa, which match perfectly the selection of beers.Last but very important, the professional yet warm service.A great experience! Highly recommend.

The Bent Elbow may be small but it has the biggest and best craft beer selection Ive seen in KW. They carry a lot of Belgian stuff and things you wont find at other restaurants/the LCBO. Staff was super knowledgeable and gave great recommendations as well. If you like beer, youll love The Bent Elbow.

Great spot for a great drink. The beer bible here is more thorough than pretty much anywhere else. If youre looking for a special type of beer, they probably have it.

Our meals were delicious, a little more food menu variety would be nice, but the service and food were fantastic! Our server was also great with helping with the beer menu, so much to choose from and we are not familiar with beers but she found a perfect fit for us.

What can you say about The Bent Elbow? Its a community created by the owner, Harold. A fine gent who within minutes of walking in the door, I felt welcome and warm. Harold has an ever-changing and expansive beer menu. And to pair these many fine brews with, he makes things from scratch like his own Oktoberfest sausage and pastrami. He goes that extra mile because he believes in offering something special. The bar itself is a welcoming spot and though I only went there twice, many people preferred to sit there. I was in town for work and it was nearby. I went there two nights in a row and had excellent conversations with his regulars. If youre used to more common domestic beers, you probably wont find them here, but Harold knows his stock well and will be able to get you into something similar, and more than likely even better. If I lived nearby Id be a regular myself. Places like this are rare. Dont hesitate to check this out this light in the dark. Its a hidden gem.

Ok, so the atmosphere wont win any awards, but its relaxed and comfortable and the selection... The selection of beers is what sets this place apart from all others.

So many beers to choose from. They had like 30 on tap and a lot in bottles. They have a book that gives you an overview of the difference beers, and good recommendations from staff. So very approachable for everyone.

Great service. Limited menu because of COVID Im presuming but we got the Burger and Nachos. Both were great.The biggest thing we can say though is that the staff and servers were very friendly and full of jokes. Made our experience 5X better.

Great beer bible with lots of crafts to choose from. Staff know there beers and can easily help you pick the right "fit", if you arent a typical craft drinker. Food has never disappointed here as well! 👍

Lots of beer options to try. They literally have the options in a little booklet, almost like a bible of beers.The French fries and the spinach dip with fried pita bread is super delicious and a good appetizer. Plus the location is close to everything.Good place. Worth trying.

If you are looking for a good variety of brews, this is the place to go. They have more options than anywhere else I’ve been in Kitchener. They were quite busy when I was there and the wait for food was a bit lengthy. When the food came, the quality made up for the wait. I was sharing a sandwich and not only did our server plate the sandwiches halves separately, but I’m sure he brought out extra fries. Everything was hot and delicious.

Humongous beer selection-you get a book of choices. We loved our beers, with a little selection help from the server. Nachos were great-no skimpy toppings here. Loaded with goodies. Potato soup was good. Fries were good. The burgers were incredible!!!! Good beef. Tasty, crisp bacon. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Yummy grilled onions. One of our best burgers. Pub atmosphere. Fun. Been here many many times over the years. Their beer selection is very diverse and has many fantastic brews of all different flavours and styles. They change it up now and then as well so there is always a nice surprise you may not have heard of before.Dont expect to buy a Budweiser or a Canadian here, its not that kind of place.Its not a bar setting, think more pub / restaurant, very friendly to all types of people.The staff is very friendly and they pay attention to you which is what always gets me. They know when you want something and will come ask how everything is at just the right time.The food is a real shocker. You might not think it, but this place serves incredible tasting dishes from a small but very simple food menu. I dont know if its the beer affecting my taste, but its always delicious and comes looking well prepared and presented well. Prices are very reasonable. Ive never been disappointed so far.If you have the opportunity to try their beef brisket, do it. You will come back for it soon Im sure!Highly recommend trying this place to anyone who has never been. Its worth every penny

If you like craft beer, this is the place for you. There are so many beers on tap, including local offerings and other interesting brews that would be hard to find elsewhere. The menu is pretty simple (think pub foodbut the food is served hot, tasty, and in large portions. Fun fact: if you ask for a Coors Light, they will serve you water in a glass.

Great food. Attentive staff. Huge selection of beer including gluten free. Menu changes often and all home cooked. You wont be disappointed or hungry after a meal here!! Highly recommend

While there was a large selection of beer here, I could only find 4-6 that sounded decent enough to try. You can get custom flights I believe it was $3.50 / 5oz. The mini pints are just brought to your table as is (no flight board for presentation). The service was fairly quick and friendly. I can not comment on the food because the menu was very basic and overpriced for what it was. I did not not order food. Overall, it was okay and I may return to see of the taps have changed in a few months.

Absolutely best craft beer bar in KW. Hands down. Totally unpretentious. Amazing selection of rotations taps (20+). There are lots of great bottles to choose from as well. Dont be afraid to order food off their menu - also excellent - doesnt look like a place that you would stop at, but well worth it. Super casual. No need to dress up.

Attentive service that is not intrusive. Delicious food from a menu that is not overly large or complicated. Fabulous selection of beer. Prices are a titch high, but you are paying for quality. I highly recommend the Bent Elbow if you like beer, it is a cant miss place. If you have a chance, read through the beer selection some really neat beers are available.

Excellent selection of beer you wont find anywhere else in town. Food was tasty, fresh and fairly priced. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice casual, old school pub feel, you have probably driven past this place quite a few times and had no idea it was there like we did. Going to be a new fav for sure.

This is truly a pub with good grub!Everything is prepared fresh daily so don’t be surprised if your daily favorite is not available...The beer list alone is worth the trip here! You will definitely find a favorite or two with varieties they carry.Word of warning, parking can get a little harry as making your way in and out is not the easiest of endeavours but then it’s well worth the trip there for the food AND beer and sharing a few stories with friends

Great family run business. Food is all made on site and there is an amazing selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles. Go early as it fills up fast!

One of my favourite places in town. Its got this vibe like the owner Harold treats it like his own place for drinking and hosting. The food is always delicious and the friendly staff obviously enjoy working here. The menu often changes but there is often something for everyone. There is also the best beer selection in town.

Excellent rotating beer selection, best in the region. Great unique daily rotating food menu. Friendly staff who are very knowledgable about both beer and the food. Surprisingly good beer ice cream, must try. The only restaurant in the area which I visit regularly. Highly recommend!
