Chic country pub with stripped floors, chunky tables, a central fireplace and a Modern British menu.
Very nice after a walk through Virginia water. 2 mixed roasts (chicken, beef & porkand two beers for £50 was excellent. Will come back
Nice location and pub. We had the scallops which were delicious. The fish & chips werent that great. The fish didnt seem very fresh and too many herbs in the tarte sauce.Chocolate brownie was good. Service was good. Free parking.
At 16:00 we parked here, in the huge lot, for free, but only because we remembered to register our car registration number at the pad at the bar. A good spread on the menu, I decided to have the curry and my hubby had the dirty burger. The curry was a man’s portion, and HOT , jalapeño hot. So hot my eyes teared and my nose ran. My mouth was burning with the heat of a thousand suns. It was só hot the paint peeled off the wall behind us… It was good I had half a liter of cider to wash it away before my lips started blistering. It was a beautiful meal and this was only the mild version. I don’t know if I would’ve survived to write about it if I chose the HOT version. So come on, be brave and try it. You’re going to love it !
Unfortunately the triple cooked chips look like last nights triple cooked chips. Not edible, no apology which is disappointing. Otherwise lovely pub and what looks like a great menu!!
Went here for Sunday Brunch. Good choice of breakfasts and the food was lovely. The Service was fab and very accommodating. We were the only ones in here until lunch but that was not an issue for us.
Fabulous Sunday Lunch great food, great serviceHad a lovely Family Sunday lunch the food is amazing the roast beef is the best I have ever tasted. Other family members had the roast pork belly and said the same. The house wine was lovely and there is a good selection of non alcoholic cocktails..The portions are generous even for the children and the Yorkshire puddings amazing plus a definite winner with us a bottomless gravy jug.The service was 1st class even though they were busy they had enough staff to cope ( very unusual these days all the staff were pleasant made you feel very welcome and very professionalWould definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Well done Belvedere arms
Daniela is an amazing worker, my experience was amazing. A true asset to The Belvedere, outstanding customer service and always smiling. Will definitely be back and I hope to be served again by her. Food was brilliant, drinks on point and fast service. Excellent experience!
I had the best lunch here, the food was delicious! Had so much fun and cant thank zoe enough for being so attentive and professional yet still being a great laugh. Thank you for such an enjoyable visit.
Whenever I am on official trip, I always ensure I drop here. Both the food and customer services are top notch - especially Dana Gurau is the best at customer service! Me and my colleagues all love this place - - - thanks to Dana and her great services.
Excellent consistent service every time. Our Eastern European server whose name I ve forgot was exceptional. Better than the English girls. Well done 👏 ✔️
We visited for Sunday Lunch. The food was excellent. well cooked and presented. We found the Maitre De a little gruff and not very welcoming. The waitress service was a bit hit and miss, our main meal arrived before our starter dishes where cleared. Our dessert order was taken, we seemed to wait a while for them to come. We asked if they was coming and was told they where very busy that they wouldnt be long. After all this we still had a pleasant visit and would come again.
One of the staff members named Daniela was very nice with our table. The service was very fast and she checked in with us often. The food was also very good.
Lovely food and great service from Daniela.Good value for the money. We will come back soon!
Had a fantastic time here. The food was great and Tom was even better. Will definitely be back. Thanks Tom/s😂
Fabulous service and food. We had Sunday roast and had such a lovely meal. The place was warm and cosy and the service was excellent. Daniela really looked after us.Well be back soon :)
We came on Sunday lunch, the food was tastefull and our waitress, Daniela, was more than happy to help us out with our needs.Keep up the good work.We will be back for sure!
Family Sunday lunch was terrific as usual. Service was up to the usual Belvedere standard, this time being nicely looked after by Daniela. Keep it up 👍
Welcoming reception. Responded to my prior request for a remote table. Speedy order and delivery of drinks. Friendly host gave us time to consider our food order which then came speedily. Superb fish cakes and pizza. Slight disappointment with the gammon, a little chewy. The apple and damson crumble was out of this world. Id come back just for that. All in all a pretty good experience.
Pleasant food and atmosphere, and top notch friendly service. A little expensive for what it is. Car park seriously needs resurfacing to avoid pothole damage to vehicles.
Lovely pub food. Plenty of it. Good portions. Very dog friendly even has doggie menu 😁
We go here regularly and its always a pleasant atmosphere, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Luca is always polite and provides a service with a smile. The food is good and efficient with table service almost always. Its family friendly and allows dogs with even a DOG MENU. Dont miss out this pub if you are in the area.
Tom and Helen were great and the service in general was fabulous. Food was OK, my crispy chicken stater wasn’t that edible, fatty and gristly but everything else was good.
Very nice and welcoming pub! Food is good and the stuff is very kind especially Dana. Definitely coming back with more friends.
Poor serviceCurry served with no ‘trimmings’ not even some mango chutney !Had to ask for table water & salt & pepperRoast chicken was lacking in any flavour & dryCar parking charged for if you dont remember to register your car at reception
Nice little pub, located next to Windsor Park. The dirty burger was unreal especially with the gravy style dipping sauce that accompanies it. Nice decor inside the pub too, would recommend for anyone who needs a place to eat if visiting the park or local area. Also offers cheaper parking through europarks which is much cheaper than the park itself.
I came over for a meal one evening meal was absolutely fabulous the staff perfect polite and I would recommend this pub to anyone, also on a Thursday was bingo night this was brilliant and a good laugh everyone Was made to feel welcome thank you to the host HELEN
Lovely location with great access to the park for a walk. The food was average nothing special, we were surprised at the "billionaire fries" see photo attached. Not exactly what you would expect personally
My daughter and I had a fantastic time, especially thanks to Zoe, our waitress who was extremely friendly and professional. Definitely recommend. The kids menu has lots to choose from, and my daughter was especially impressed with the pasta.I had the plant based burger which was fantastic. I would strongly recommend the chocolate bomb, probably one of the best desserts I have enjoyed in a long time. Well done to all the staff.
I had a very enjoyable evening last night with family and friend. The meal was delicious and service excellent. After our meal we all stayed for a game of bingo. I even won!! Lol
Loved this place! Super friendly. Amazing food. And dog friendly with dog menu!!! I have to go back with the dogs! And the biscoff bomb is to die for!!!
Had fish and chips for Sunday lunch. Lovely fish but small portion. Our waitress Zoe was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back.
Nice enough looking pub, sat at a table, grabbed some menus and had not decided on what to eat when the waitress came over so asked her to come back, however when we had and tried to get her attention, she proceeded to ignore us, tired to order with the app, network was rubbish and couldnt load the web page and then 10 mins later we just got up and left as the waitress walked by on her mobile. Pretty diabolical treatment
While food was very tasty, service was slow and the place was understaffed, as it got considerably busy when we were leaving and the same few young workers were accommodating the customers. That being said, the waiters/waitresses were very friendly and welcoming, and did a good job with what they had. Food was very expensive, particularly dessert. Dessert portions are small and overpriced. We have a birthday in the group which they accommodated for very nicely. They also have a dog menu, which may be useful to some but we found some areas of the outdoor seating area smelled of dogs. The traffic is quite noisy if you are outside. Overall, food is good but comes at a price.
A friendly welcome and a reasonably priced meal from a varied menu. Staff though keen were a little thin on the ground and we had to chase the dessert menu but overall a good experience
We had a lovley lunch at the Belvedere Arms to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Manuel looked after us very well making this day even more special. Lovely experience all together. Definitely family friendly place with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food.
Having visited twice before, we booked a table here for a celebratory dinner and had a fantastic evening. The food was divine (salmon + crispy potatoes, dirty burger, sea bass and fish cakes), the drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholicwere delicious, but the service really added something special. Tom has served us each time we’ve been here and has made our evening every time! He always remembers us and our orders and treats us with so much respect, making us laugh and ensuring we always have everything we need. He offered really helpful suggestions for both food and drinks, and made us feel like valued customers. Can’t wait to come back soon to sample the autumn/winter menu! Thank you, as always! 😊
Had a lovely evening at Belvedere Arms, it was our first time there. Sat outside and enjoyed the live music. Tom our waiter was very friendly and the food was amazing. Ordered a few dishes from the “small plates” menu and sides. Everything was delicious. Husband would have liked a greater selection of ales but was happy with the London Pride that he got. All in all, would definitely go back in future.
The staff were very nice & polite we were made to feel very welcome. The food was very nice but the only thing I would suggest is to use extra virgin olive oil when making up the olive oil & balsamic dip as this allows the balsamic vinegar to also stick to the bread. We really enjoyed out visit & will most definitely come back.
Went for a late lunch after working at Ascot racecourse, this place wasnt far down the road. The pub/ restaurant has tasty food and a good tap selection. All the staff are super polite/ friendly and were very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone if you are in the area. It has lots of parking and a fair sized garden at the front.
So happy i popped in here. Thank you Zoe and Daisy for your amazing service. Which could not be any better than that. So, I will be coming back. The chef made a delicious dirty burger which I demolished and I topped it all off with a cheesecake.
Lovely pub, outside area is spacious and there are always plenty of places to sit. Inside seating is very nice, not too close to other tables.Staff are very welcoming and friendly.Food is excellent, good quality and tasty. Attached photos from recent visits.Service is excellent, Helen is absolutely lovely, very attentive, nothing is too-much trouble.
Used to be a really lively fun pub/restaurant and went regularly.Went the other night for first time in awhile and def wont be returning soon.No service, food expensive and perfectic small amount. What a shame. Lovely location and place but lacks management and care of service for customers
A great welcoming experience to the area!My girlfriend and I have recently moved into the area and heard some great things about the place - we weren’t disappointed! The food, atmosphere and staff were great and the drinks were fantastic! Huge compliment to I think it was Chris, was a great guy to talk to and was great to have a little chat about the Chelsea game tomorrow and also recommending the raspberry sorbet - was so good! Will definitely be back and a bringing family out soon!
Best experience ever. I was visiting Belvedere Arms because I was not finding something available in the area. But I am not regretting the choice. Thanks for the management staff, they are doing a great job and quality service. The food was amazing and very delicious and also the cocktails worth trying it. Thanks again for looking after me and this is the best option when you are travelling around.
We had a really nice Sunday roasts and puddings. Child and dog friendly. Car park was full and had to wait until a car left before we could park. Obviously very popular for Sunday lunch.
Nice local pub, in a lovely location, backing on to a duck pond. Tried to visit a few times before, but very busy, took another chance on a Sunday hoping for lunch, a table was found( only one leftlucky me, service from young waitresses , was excellent, very accomodating, food was divine, atmoshere very jolly in a lovely setting, will be back
One of those Mitchells and Butlers pubs, their menus are all similar and their wine lists are almost identical.Location is good because of the area. Food is as good as other Mitchells and Butlers pubs I have been to. Service is ok, friendly enough but under staffed.Food 8/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 8/10.
I have been a regular since 1977. It was originally called the Rising Sun. The name Belvedere was first used in the 70s when it was an upmarket gangsters club. Officially a posh restaurant. It became a night club in 1977 and was the place to go. Even the doorman had an amazing history. Ken had been a driver for the Krays, no one argued with him when time to leave...In recent time it has gone back to being a pub. It is a gastro pub with a varied menu and lots of seating inside and out. It still has regular pub goers and is just the perfect place to have a Pimms after a visit to the Polo at Smiths Lawn.Great place to find sunshine and cooling shade under the magnificent willows. Enoy!
Great food, drinks and service. Child friendlyNice location near to Virginia Water park.Big car park.Felt a bit empty but that’s probably due to the social distancing.Keen to go back when it’s back to normal :)
Lovely meal. Nice quiet location. Service quick and polite waiters. Food came piping hot. Seated and served at our table. Social distancing and face masks worn by staff and us as we entered. Hand sanitisation areas at entrance. Really enjoyed the evening and yummy food. Thanks will come again.
