The Bedford Townhouse & Café in Limerick

Thank you for the hospitality, great central location, walking distance to all of the delicious restaurants. Beautiful, modern room with a view. The manager recognized me on the street and checked on me to make sure that my stay is welcoming.

Loved it... Real comfort. My only thing I missed was no tea and coffee in rooms...maybe nice to have option as going down two floors to a common area not great. And wooden floors made it very noisy if not on top floor...Great staff, attention to detail. A lovely hotel.

The Bedford Townhouse really is exceptional. The place was spotless, and the facilities are 5*. I was not expecting a parlour room with tea and coffee facilities, a gym and a steam room in a townhouse so central - the location is perfect. The attention to detail is second to none and everything is high quality with personalised touches. A very luxurious stay. I was very impressed and cannot wait to come back.

If I could give 1000 Stars, I would..the service is excellent,the rooms are amazing and the little gym has everything thing you need. Despite being in the center of the city the rooms are very quite!. The location could not be more central. If you are visiting Limerick and want to have 5 star experience in the middle of the action, then this is the place.

This is a lovely small guest house with 12 rooms. They have some very personal touches - handwritten welcome card, guest area with comfortable couches, complementary tea/coffee wine and minerals, a small gym and steam room - a great space.Breakfast was in the Cafe and had some unsual options which makes a change from the Full Irish.

Cool little hotel with great and helpful staff. The breakfast is also great! The room was also very nice although the gym room was a little bit cluttered. Still, a very good place to stay.

good location in limerick, easy to walk around to nearby restaurants and shops.. if you go by car you can park at harveys quay (opposit the hotel)nice size rooms, quiet hotel, friendly staffgym available at the hotel.i just wish they would open for breakfast and reception earlier, since i had to work breakfast after 7 am was not an option for me, when i was checking out reception didnt open before 8 am.

Lovely small hotel located in the heart of Limerick. Called in the AM and was fortunate to get an early check-in. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms are very well laid out and the bedding is super comfy. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room is clean and tidy, warm and within the city centre.There is a lounge in the hotel and available till midnight serving drinks like tea, coffee, 7up and wine. The place is quite cozy and relaxing.They don’t have receptionist where you could see at all time, but you could still call them when you need.The breakfast is great and they even asked if we need to take a cup of coffee with us on the way when we check out, so sweet.

We had a lovely stay at the Bedford Townhouse. We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay. The staff were courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend staying. The breakfast was delicious and the gym was small put had plenty of equipment to get a good Workout.

I visit Limerick quite a lot and have stayed in most of the main hotels. First stay at The Bedford Townhouse and certainly wont be the last. Extremely comfortable beds, very nice decor and great staff. Really central location too. The room was a little on the small side, but great value for money considering all the aforementioned pros.

Very poor.quite but still took over half hour to get eggs and bacon tea cold and poor attention to customers

Hidden gem in Limerick. Be sure to check out the guest room lounge area by the gym which has an electric fireplace, TV, sofas, and free wine/tea, etc. Walking distance to castle and other sites.

Nicest stay I’ve had in a long time, rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast next morning was delicious and reasonably priced. Will be back again

The best stay at the Bedford Townhouse. Couldnt fault a thing, from the team, to the beautiful decor and fabulous spacious rooms, this was the perfect city break for our group. The Bedford is so central and convenient to everywhere. Breakfast was fabulous, and there is a lovely Parlour Room to stop and have tea. There was also hand written notes in each room. Highly rate our stay - 10 out of 10.

This is a super chic hotel in the heart of Limerick. THe rooms are small but perfectly deigned to have nearly everything you need. Same for the bathroom, which has a dreamy rainfall shower head in remarkable roomy shower. The only criticism is that the bathroom lacked hooks to hang up towels or person bathroom kits. Also no selves in the shower for personal items such as shampoo and conditioner.Digital keys for the doors worked well as we arrived too late to check in at the cafe.

Whether you are visiting Limerick for the first time or native, this Townhouse Boutique should be top of your search list and will not disappoint. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, from the minute you enter the building, it just has the wow factor. Would definitely recommend as a couples retreat. The Parlour Room is such a cosy and relaxing space, great for chatting and meeting other guests - a grown up space. Parking is ideal at Harveys Quay car park, straight across the road and easy to access. The bedrooms are just so comfortable, you wont want to leave. Very creative with the use of space and very plush décor. The little welcome card in each room was a very special touch and the bottles of water. Breakfast was just sublime, having eaten in the café previously, i knew the standard of food was very high. Such a massive treat for us being away from the children for the night, and already looking to book our return, this townhouse will not disappoint. Just to mention, Staff were exceptionally lovely and made the booking and arrival so easy to follow. Limericks little hidden gem.

Great hotel and breakfast, and very friendly staff!

Very, very clean, spotless everywhere, very well designed hotel, the suite is very tastefully decorated and the bathroom is clean, spacious and modern in design. The small roof garden is best for a relaxing chill out for a cup of tea, the same goes for the great Parlour room, very clean and great equipped with coffee machine and fridge. We felt secured, had a good night and comfortable sleep. The room was very quiet, you wouldnt think you are in a busy shopping road. The Gym is very well equipped, couldn`t unfortunaly use it because Covid restriction. Everywhere in the house are sanitizers installed and the fragance used in the hallroom is amazing. Looking forward to be back, a beautiful gem in Limerick!

The staff were very friendly social distancing was observed. I had a lovely breakfast of poached eggs and avocado. And a chai latte to drink

Stayed here recently for one night. Couldnt fault it . From the time of booking , staff were helpful and kept in contact. Hotel very clean and rooms are decorated nice. Small gym and steam room , and nice parlour for guests. Great city centre location. Breakfast the next day was like lovely, great choice , especially for vegetarians. Will definitely be returning

Everything was perfect except for the air conditioning. Turned it right down and even turned it off but the room was roasting. Hard to sleep. But great place and will definitely stay again. Breakfast was amazing

This was such a gorgeous hotels, the rooms are amazing and the bed was SO comfortable. The gym is small but very well equipped and was empty everytime I went in. The parlour downstairs is so handy and they have wine, san pelligrino and fresh water in the fridge if required to use at your own discretion. I would definitely return here, parking is about 1 minute walk away at Dunnes and the hotel provide you with a ticket for discounted parking rate.

Stunning place! Everything was perfect! The location was great, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was beyong comfortable and gorgeous. Great service also. We would definitely book this place again if were ever back in Ireland!

Just home from staying here last night with my husband. Wow! Stunning bedroom, massive comfortable bed. Pure luxury absolutely gorgeous!! Everything has been thought of to make the guests stay perfect. I had breakfast this morning in the cafe freshly squeezed orange juice, avocados with poached free range eggs on sourdough bread with gorgeous coffee delicious best breakfast Ive had I loved it. The owner Denise was extremely kind & helpful you can see what a lady she is so hands on making sure guests & customers in the cafe are well taken care off. Perfect location for shopping, going out & food. This is the only place in Limerick I want to stay in from now on. Cant wait to get back again. 10/10

What an amazing hidden gem! Modern and full of tech yet so filled with history. They have all the amenities you would want plus the lounge is absolutely stunning! And the cafe food is good too! Will be coming back for sure!

The Bedford is a nice and cosy hotel. Spacious rooms that are really well decorated. Splendid breakfast with friendly staff. We stayed only one night, but it was certainty worth it.

WOW! What a delight, we were well received and the front desk was so friendly! Rooms were cute, nice little surprise upon arrival, comfy bed. The bathroom was modern and well renovated. The lobby had a Cute Cafe and great breakfast area nearby. We would come back anytime!

Rooms are beautiful. Very well decorated with everything you need e.g. iron, hair dryer, robes, bottles of water. Love the decor and they have the simple things done right- plugs beside the bed, full length mirror, spacious shower, black out curtains, comfy bed. The staff were very helpful and welcoming with a welcome note in our room. Location is perfect as we could walk to shops and bars. Parking is near at hand. Very impressed!!
