The Beaver Bar in Banff

We stopped here for beer and snacks. We ordered a party platter and loved every bite of it. Well definitely come back.

Literally the best bar.

Great bar, small and cozy! They host events which are fun but make sure to book at table ahead of time. Drinks are a good price and even better during happy hour, very friendly staff too!

We were pleasantly surprised by this little bar in a backpackers hotel. We had just arrived in Banff and we were exhausted after driving all day. This bar was steps from our hotel so we decided to stop in and give it a try. It was simple, you ordered your drinks and food at the bar but it was really good. The drinks were cheap with $4 beers at happy hour. The food was good and the value for the price was exceptional. I highly recommend the fried cheese curds to start. I had the burger and my husband had the chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed our meal and would recommend this little bar.

Honestly this place is incredibly. God bless Google. Monday evening 10pm towards the end of June and most places in Banff had called last orders. "Bars open near me" was the search. 300m and Im here and Im so glad I was. Live music. Atmosphere. Good selection of beers. Ill be here again tomorrow for my last evening in Banff.

Stopped here for a couple agwa bombs and it was awesome. The bartender was a sweet guy and I liked the atmosphere. If I’m back in Banff I’ll definitely stop here (:

Great prices on food and drink especially during happy hour. Tacos are real beef and chicken, no ground mest. $4 on selected pints, not sure if anything in town beats that

Amazing night at The Beaver Bar. I went for Trivia Night on Wednesday which was the perfect mid week pick me up!I had the falafel wrap which was delicious - great portions and such good value for money. Awesome drinks specials during Happy Hour as well.A hidden gem in Banff.

I visited Banff for Vacation and went there first on this Sunday during entire day Happy hours and then went back again on Monday because we couldnt have enough of it. Burrito, Starter Platter and Falafel Humus wrap, everything was perfect. Bartender gave us taste of beer to choose from as we were unaware of local beers and also made off the menu cocktail on my friends request, that also was made amazingly. Do visit for a chilled out relaxed evening.

Burger was no joke - if you’re looking for a thin burger with a great crust (clearly cooked on a skillet)then this is your place! Poutine was good (not the best but good). Staff was friendly and value was solid. I would definitely recommend this place!

Gets busy after ten becoming a true beaver den. You might get squished in like sardines but love thy neighbour and sing some Celine. Mad decent prices given the location, so meet some folk from all over the nation. Theyre known for an "agwa bomb" so leave behind your qualm. Maybe even try a few, but I personally wouldnt call it a breakthrough.

The roasted tomato soup of the day was delicious! Probably the best I have had in a restaurant. Prices are great for Banff and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Would definitely recommend!

I love how little this place is and the atmosphere. The service was good. I ordered the falafel but wouldnt get it again. It was fresh and prepared as described but just not very flavorful. I couldnt really taste much in the falafel and the inside was mushy. The pita itself was really good. The sauce was okay but not the garlic sauce I expected. Im Lebanese and from Michigan so my expectations for falafel and garlic sauce may be a bit high. Id good back and try something else but just wouldnt get the falafel again.

We had the happy hour margaritas, they were alright, pre-mixed with minimal tequila. But they were cheep.

Incredibly affordable for a restaurant/bar in Banff. However, the service can be iffy though due to being so small, and often so crowded.

In Banff and dont feel like getting rooked at a restaurant charging $50 for a steak the size of a deck of cards? Then come on out to The Beaver Bar!This restaurant offers a basic menu with incredible value. I had the burger and fries and my wife had the gourmet grilled cheese and soup. We both had a Beaver Lager to drink. Total with tax and tip was $36.Small and crowded, but thats part of the appeal!

Very good prices for food. One glass of beer plus chicken club n fish tacos came less than $35 with tip. And the bartender didn’t charge me for the soda. Thanks all. Will come back again.

It is a small place but the beer are cheap and good. The is also an happy hour!The pub food is also inexpensive and good. On the website they say there is food specials before 9p.m it is not true anymore.There is activities almost every evenings but quite late (10 p.m).

Overall: cheap drink and cozy bar. It can get loud as the night goes on but you can meet other fellow travelers and share stories. If you are in Banff, thats a good place to stop for after dinner drinks.

This is one of the hottest local spots in town. Always a crowd. No matter what night. Very casual atmosphere. Lots of locals. Bring your ID. No ID no drinks.
