Great bar for food and drinks. Great selection of alcohol. The food was good (although it couldve make more sense to serve bread with an eggplant dish to my opinion). The atmosphere was a bit disappointing due to the very monotonous African music tonight or whatever it was... as a single guest the place was less inviting. but overall Id recommend and the service was excellent!!

Very nice atmosphere, but very poor menu of appetizers, starters, snacks... Its a bistro with taste of PUB bar without Guinness for example. Have a huge list of whiskies and wines without plates of cheese and salamis to make some harmonization; You want fries with cheese or maybe a portion of fry shrimps to eat with your beer? Keep dreaming.... The list of deserts its the same size of the options of the starters. Logics, where you are?? They like to waste money in they business and thats why the main concern of the managers is to take out the menu of your table as soon as possible, to put the menus to rest in the wood wardrobe.... Forget about fry mussarela sticks, fish and chips... They want to sale to you a concept very hard to understand.

The place was renovated and renewed last May. I actually liked it better before the renovations. It had character and now its just boring regular restaurant without so much character or special thing about it

Had 2 draft beers, Paulner and 1 more(36ILs each for a 500ml glass, so not really expensive as per cost of living in Israel). Draught beer they brew is best in Haifa. Period.Food options were not so good. Was expecting something fully cooked(other than b**fbut couldnt get.Staff people were so good, they provided me their phone to use google lens as menu was only in Hebrew and my phone was not working.1 star less for the food options.

Great place, staff, food and drinks. Pub style with seating inside and outside. The best selection of spirits I’ve seen in Israel. The music is usually good too. And no, it’s not the cheapest place in Haifa but it is one of the best. The picture is less than half of the shelf.

Best pub in Haifa. The staff are excellent and fun to talk with. Super laid back but the service is great. They will sit with you and make you feel like its a place youve been frequenting for years. The whole staff speaks great English which as a tourist is fantastic. I would recommend this place everytime if anyone were to ask. Plus the manager is just a great guy!

Very beautiful pub, a bit expensive but good selection of food and drinks, lots of beer options and whiskey. Always full of people with good atmosphere and lots of tourists and foreign travelers.The food is unique and not kosher which means they can make it more interesting and different. Once the pride and joy of haifas bar scene, now a remnant of its former glory. Failing to adapt to higher standards in seating, food and pricing made it fall out of favor with the crowd. Its prime location means people still come here, mainly in sporting events. Parking is constantly a problem in this area.

We had an early drink and dinner here one night. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. I am glad we tried it, but probably wont go back again.

There are good cocktails here and nice atmosphere. Usually not very busy (at least at the times I was there, I was never there on Friday night, for example). It is a little pricey, like most business in the area.

A pub without a strong "pub" vibe. It definitely caters to an international, mostly anglo, tourist crowd and so the staff is much nicer than most places. Also good for families with older kids. Large outside patio and many tables inside.

Nice for watching sports. Food is not a hit. Dont order the sausages!

Ive been coming to the Bear Pub, now the Bear Inn and Pub, for a very long time. Whenever I travel to Haifa, its usually my first stop to get food and a few beers after a really long day of travel from the states.The food is fantastic, and the variety is very good. The beer selection is great, but the spirits selection is really unrivaled. They have some amazing stuff here.The staff has always been awesome. Super friendly, very cordial, make you feel appreciated and welcome. And theyll do shots with you.With the great music selections running in the background with everything else, this is the place to be in Haifa. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Ive been coming for years, and Ill still be coming back for years to come.

This pub is one of the veterans of Haifa. It is really cosy and fun. Every day is a good day to go there, especially if there is a football game on. They show it on big screens and the place is jam packed with happy people (better to reserve a table).

Descent overall experience. The food is alright and there are enough beers to choose from. There are better and cheaper places in Haifa.
