I think Im getting to old for downtown fun. A little rowdy overkill on there bouncing security. People come to get a little loose not intimidation at least to what I observed. Being ex law enforcement and did the downtown perimeter with Des Moines police. Great service good selection of beer .

Normally fine place but has a pretty limited selection of drinks and a somewhat hostile staff. My experience was marred by an employee getting in my friends face and threatening to "ban her ass" (his wordsif she left a mess behind. She had never done so before and he had no reason to believe she would in the future. These were the first words they had ever exchanged.Starting off with a threat to your repeat customers probably isnt the best face to put forward.

THis place is a ton of fun. Great sound, cold beers, cool atmosphere. Everything yo ucould want from a venue.
