Great place to dance and have fun!

They wouldn’t let us in because one of my friends had a jumpsuit on without sleeves. We didn’t see this rule posted online or anywhere inside. This happened as three girls with dresses on with no sleeves were coming out of the main room. They must have an issue with the LGBTQ+ community. What a shame, we’re usually really good tippers. Definitely letting the community know that they should skip this place and go support businesses that support us.

Lots of fun! Great staff. Karaoke is awesome here too! They do practice sessions for free on Thursdays (not including entrance feeand are super fun.

Fun western atmosphere with food, drinks, and dancing! Music was a little loud which made it difficult to hold a conversation with other people, but all in all good time!

I dont normally go to country music bars but I had a blast at this one. I tried to line dance and failed but no one was weird about it. I even made a friend in the ladies room. There are mirrors that the biggest selfie fan would go crazy over. Staff was very nice. LGBT friendly and not entirely white. It was welcoming and one hell of hoot hollern good time. There isnt a mechanical bull though so they might want to change that.

Super inclusive dance club, music is loud enough to sing along without worrying about someone hearing you but not ear blasting. Theres a smoking room in the back thats perfect for conversation, pool or beer pong. Bartenders are friendly and quick! Good vibes!!

So I usually call in an order for pickup.after work. Their steak bites I give a 4.5. Never really disappoints. Also decided to try the nachos. Ordered the fixings separate from the chips with extra chips. However this something I will not be ording again. Requested without jalapenos an olives but was also missing shredded cheese an sour cream. Anyways with the items I received I give the nachos at the highest a 2.

Awesome place. Really enjoyed the Line Dancing and the music there.

Been here a couple of times. They offer lessons and do karaoke. Heads up though karaoke is in the smoking section... that didnt bother me but Im sure some of you will appreciate the notice.

This was the third of three country western dances in the area and by far the best for dancing. We only spent 5 minutes at PBR before we walked out, and eagles nest was okay but no one knew how to two step. Most line dances at the bank where you need to this location but they had plenty of two steps. They had no other couple dances which was the only drawback. Good food too

I come here every Thurs for karaoke and its always a good time. Some nights gets a bit dramatic though but good people good times

This place has been open for years & Im kicking my self for this being my 1st time.The Banque is Country Western with bar basics (soda, beer,bourbon & the like).We felt welcomed upon entry. (some tables reserved for "regulars").Fri &Sat Prime rib night😋.I was not disappointed! Huge dance floor that gets plenty of💃🕺use( even impromptu classes). What an added bonus ...if youre game..Hopefully, my pics will say it better.

Great atmosphere, great staff, great food, and great prices. Love coming here not only to dance, but the food is amazing too! 10 out of 10 recommended!

This place is awesome! I had reached out the morning of my best friends Bachelorette party and they were more than accommodating to reserving a table for us! They even held it a little longer than expected (thanks for that btw)!! The whole atmosphere is just laid back with people enjoying music and dancing. There were patrons and staff that had been going there for some 20 years and they helped ensure she had the best, most embarrassing night to remember!! 🤣🤣 #missionaccomplished

(edited review after previous issue was resolved)For the first time going in, there was definitely some feelings of being an outsider, so I recommend going to their line-dancing classes first. Otherwise, honestly there wasnt anything particularly special as compared to other country bars Ive been to

If you like line dancing or two stepping this is the place to go with friends. No live music, but DJ plays mostly country or variety of songs that have common dances. They accept requests. It is a bit odd they have low top tables next to the dance floor so if you step off the floor your tush is in someones face or plate. You have to go with people because you arent allowed to stand at the bars because its more of a walkway, so there isnt a big "pick up" scene here like other country dancing halls with rails around the floor and actual bars with stools to sit at unless its the one in the back. Three bars in the main room and table service available, but slow. They also have a huge smoking room in the rear with multiple pool tables, also new patio for fresh air!

I had a ball I was very comfortable there was plenty of space, enjoyable food and all around friendly area the people were pretty firm on helping us to learn the lines dances I loved it you differently will see me again

The Banque staff has been the most loving and caring establishment I’ve been privileged to come and enjoy! There’s always something to do, and tons of dancing to watch ! They serve the best drinks for the best price around town! If you’ve never been don’t doubt you won’t feel welcomed like you’ve been coming for years !! So this place used to be amazing. However it went down hill fast after they fired one of the best bartenders. I don’t anticipate going back to this establishment due to the fact that after this post I will get unfairly banned from entering just like my friend carissa. You would think a country western dance hall would support the constitution and right to freedom of speech. I guess it speaks volumes about the owner. I’m going to try to go tonight and update this review if I get banned for no reason.

The vibe here is great. Super comfortable. Good music and good food. And if you want to learn some great dances this is the place to come!

I’ve been coming here every week for years. This place is a home away from home because the staff and management treats you like family. It’s always fun to learn new dances and the atmosphere is so friendly! I love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

LONG LONG LONG TIME.I have been going to the Banque for lets just say Many Years.It is the ONLY TRUE line dancing Night club I have ever found in this area.Dance floor is always busy between the line dancers and Two Steppers-Over the past few years they have made some amazing changes! A great Patio out Back with-Corn Hole boards, Great sitting area when you just need that breath of fresh air!A few years ago they Made a Large Smoking area , I like to think of it as a whole other bar with in the bar - and I mean LARGE area- Has its own stage, Pool Table, Beer Pong and of course full service bar area.The Staff is always friendly and welcome to everyone, As we any place we all have our favorite bartender, This is the only Bar I know in this area where some of the stage has been there for 25 years and they love it.Food is alway on point and the kitchen pumps it out fast and fresh !While you alway have a ton of fresh new faces - they still have customers that have been coming for more than 40 years.. THAT alone says something !PLENTY OF parking ..There is no better Country Bar in this area !

Love this place! Have been coming for years an even when we lived in different states or hours away we always missed it! I met my husband and some of my closest friends that are now family here, the staff, GM and owner have always been fun and caring too!

Honestly, the Banque doesnt look like much on the outside, but where this place shines is the inside. Great music, good beer, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere has me out here every weekend. The dancing is second to none with lessons on the weekdays and great music every night. Whether you want to spin your significant other or live it up in a line dance, the Banque offers something for everyone. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a solid Western experience that welcomes all.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!I went here about a week ago for my first-ever line dancing experience, and I can honestly say that from the second I walked in, I could not stop smiling. It was just fun, plain and simple. The atmosphere was so relaxed and trusting; I really felt like I could just have a good time and forget about my worries. The music was on-point and everyone encouraged you to at least try the dances, even if you had no idea what you were doing!The food and drinks were also very good, and the DJ was a riot. I would highly recommend going here, and I will hopefully get to go back soon!

Ive been going here since I was 12 years old, on family night back in the day, and its always been killer! Everybody is nice, polite and super friendly! If you dance at all, or not at all, come join in! Everybody will help you along to have a good time!

Its a nice place. Great if you know line dancing since all the dances were done that way. Friendly people. Our waitress was great!

Great music great people just a little snappy about the masks. The downside was paying the tab. My tab ended up being paid by a friend , then refunded and then I paid my tab and after I left they charged their tab to mine. It was just a mess. Please assist the bartenders with tab it can be stressful and hard at times

Food was great, my kids got to learn line dancing. The lady teaching was awesome and did so great with them.

This was the first time that I ever went to a country western bar and it was by accudent. I went through a social group and had no idea but I had a blast!! They even teach you a few dances😊

Line dancing lessons are wed through friday 730. Great teachers. Try the hillbilly fries and the strawberry shortcake drink (alcoholicaverages prices. Not cheap nor expensive. Sad thing is after 9 they 2.50 for water... no not bottle water just tap water so order a couple glasses before 9

This place is far from my house but the girlfriend and her friends love it. The atmosphere is great. The line dancing is great. Ive enjoyed the food Ive gotten. My only complaint is the table service. You are better off opening a tab at the bar and getting up to go get your own drinks and ordering your food there. I actively avoid having to transfer my tab from the bartender to a waitress working whatever table you sit down at. Its happened just about every time Ive sat at a table. They raise an issue like youre undermining their livelihood insisting you cant sit at the table and have a tab at the bar but if you transfer your tab to them good luck seeing them more than once every half hour. Theyre horrible. Everything else about this place is great but the waitressing is terrible.

Buffet luncheon if about 80 members of a Club. Service was great whats good and so would entertainment.

We love this club. Classy and safe and friendly and the food is wonderful. Our favorite server, Charlene, is always happy to see us and is a wonderful server and friend. We used to be regulars, but moved away. But we go there every chance we get when in Hamptom Roads. Great line dancing.

We just moved to the area a couple of months ago and this was our first time here. The staff was amazing! We were treated like a guest in somebodys home. The prime rib special was outstanding and the entire staff went out of their way to make our dinner very special. They brought our 3 year old son an ice cream sandwich served on a plate drizzled in chocolate with a huge sparkler on top. The manager and her staff were so kind and really made us feel welcome. We cant wait to come back, as this will now be were we go when we go out.

If The Banque was closer to my home I would be there all the time. Have been going here since 1993 and it just keeps getting better. We travel almost 3 hours several times a year to dance and socialize here. You will find a great diversity of folks here. Many professionals, some of us hard working boys and girls, and a terrific show from the military, both young and old which gives a great balance of dance styles on the floor. Extremely good dance floor etiquette, you can both line dance and partner dance, orchestrated by a terrific DJ, who takes request. Service is impeccable and management is active to ensure you are having a good time. Handicap accessible, and accommodating in every way. They have modernized the facility including the floor, which almost dances itself, cleaner modern restrooms, and they added a smoking patio. We are not smokers, and never smelled smoke. Great selection of mixed drinks and beers. Food is very good and plenty for the price. Reservations can be made and management will help you design your evening. Dance classes are available on certain days and teach great steps to modern and classic music. Not all music played is country western. A very up beat and fun experience. Even if you dont dance there is seating with terrific vantage points for spectating, but Ill bet you get on the floor. A very good time for young and senior.

I’ve gone to this bar for years. Always has a laid back atmosphere friendly staff and not much drama at all. There are a lot of military that go since it’s located near the bases and they have a military night. Food is pretty good. Steak bites are awesome as well as the man salad. Excellent drink selection as well. Line dancing lessons for those of you like me with 2 left feet!

Pretty decent floor, though some people dont quite understand the separation between couples dancing and line dancers. Also the DJ can be hit or miss keeping a balance of what music is being played. There are some nights where even when weve made requests, they might not be played till maybe the last half hour of the bar being open because theres easily a "power hour" of very basic line dances. I get wanting to include everyone but spacing those out a bit more would be more appreciated all around.Also liquor here if you order it straight has gotten VERY pricey. And their mixed drinks are watery. Most of us stick to beer or wine and even those are priced a bit high.Wait staff can also be hit or miss. Most of the time I prefer just going up to one of the bars and getting another drink rather than try and track down whomever is our server.

I expected bowling alley quality food, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was restaurant chain quality, nothing spectacular, but not bad enough to be a distraction. We got some free like dance lessons which were well given and fun, and then doing them to songs later was great. There were some regulars that somewhat detracted in their desperate attempts to confirm their superiority on the dance floor, but that was by far the exception as most regulars were very nice and tried to help the uninitiated follow along. Later in the night, the clientele seemed to get younger and younger, but thats not a positive or a negative in my opinion. Overall I recommend the place. It was great, large, fun, and had a good number of alternates to just dancing even though dancing was the focus for sure.
