Rated 3 from 5 as sometimes 5 others 1. Very inconsistent depending on the only variable in a pub, The Staff. You make your own choice. Update... the pub has improved significantly over recent months and staff are much friendlier. Update... Katsu Chicken curry was very good.

Great wetherspoons pub, better than most. Good location but parking is limited on busy days. Lovely pub and staff.

Decent food and good selection of drinks for a reasonable price, rather busy on a Saturday afternoon.

Value for money and in a nice environment.Food is usually very nice and priced reasonably.Parts of the pub are looking a little tired although it is kept relatively clean for a large chain pub.Staff are friendly and efficient plus they have a nice selection of real ales... Everyone is a winner.

Sausages horrible on brunch meal. Also dogs not allowed in beer garden, so I avoid Weatherspoons.

Stopped by for a late lunch, great food as usual and helpful staff. As always you know what you are getting when you go in and this is always a nice venue in this pub chain.

Probably the best Wetherspoons on the area! Food is awsome! Cooked beautifully and quick!

It was Curry Night. Despite how busy it was we did not have to wait too long for our food, it was hot, tasty and plentiful. Excellent value for money. I took off one star for the fact it was very loud and difficult to hold a conversation.

Came here for the 1st time with my old mate/family,,he is in a wheelchair after a life changing stroke 12 months ago,,anyway the place was roomy,pleasant,,food looked nice,,I personally didnt eat,,but my friend/family ate,,and food looked top batt,,so I would say,,if u find yourself in Aldridge,,and hungry,,have no worries,,everything is good

Nice place ..food OK but beans were cold .Nice curry 🍛 very busy by the bar ..but was a Friday afternoon. Toilets up stairs..Ladies have the beautiful art deco..window .But Toilets needed a clean .

Moderately busy, good selection of ales, kitchen closed for refurbishment, bar staff friendly.Glasses, ashtrays et cetera left unattended/cleared for very long periods of time, in spite of staff not appearing to be overly busy.On a sunny summer afternoon/evening the rear terrace will always draw patrons, so a little bit more attention to refreshing tables would help.Overall another good experience of the charm that is The Avion.

best fish and chips ever served in a wetherspoons. the young woman that served our table made us feel welcomed.please thanks to her.time of visit around 1PM our table no 45 thanks to all at the Avion.

Very busy. Managed to get table for5. Ordered at the bar. Recommend downloading the app to order has that was far quicker. Waited 35 minutes. Ques at coffee machines for 10 minutes. Breakfast full English. Was ok. Not the best and not the worst.

Lovely clean pub, pleasant staff. Went for lunch with friends so it wasnt too busy and our order came out quickly, food was lovely too.

Great value for money caters for kids food good . Just a little noisy for me with dodgy hearing with or without heating aids. I know they wanted to keep the high ceiling . But its like eating in a works canteen . But value for money. Staff excellent so helpful . So 9 out 10 for me

Decent Weather spoons, no pedigree on sale when I visited but they had a well kept Doom bar. Barman who served me a few times, was very good, even remembered our round of four drinks on my second visit to the bar. 👍

New menu is quite good, hard to get a table sometimes especially on a weekend. Ginger and rhubarb gin with spicy ginger ale is a must 😋

Any one who uses a weatherspoons pub knows they differ from branch to branch , but The Avion is in my top 3 , Good staff , very clean , open kitchen , nice food , U cant beat an afternoon in the Avion even more so when u get a high Table lol ...

First time out for breakfast in a long time. Impressed with look and feel of this former cinema. Had a lovely large breakfast in a quiet booth. Unlimited coffee was very nice. Staff are pleasant and efficient. Recommended

Great food, great range of beers.Meal for 2 with drinks cost less than for 1 person elsewhere 👍Is there any where else you can eat in after 9.30 pm without pre booking!?? ( Thats not a curry )

Very busy and tables needed cleaning. Menus on the floor - previous occupants of table have no manners. Bacon buttys and breakfasts great. Coffee machines temperamental, dont really get the clean cup thing. Staff doing their best, helpful and friendly.

Excellent value for money.Both food and drinks with very good staff. Only complaint is very young children/babies screaming out occasionally. Makes for uncomfortable time there when this occurs especially as the sound carries in this lovely old converted cinema. Excellent place to get to ,with very good public transport which stops directly outside The Avion.

Came here for a Breakfast, Easy to get served, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Good Value for money on drinks and food. I had a Traditional breakfast with a Refillable hot drink for under £5! Good Atmosphere on a nighttime too.

Ive been a few times. I wouldnt eat or drink at spoons normally but I was with work colleagues. The first time I ate I had a curry meal with extra chips and a pint. I think it was about £11.50. Portions have got smaller from what I can remember. The second time I went I had fish and chips with mushy peas with extra portion of onion rings. This was a good meal and a bit cheaper than my first meal. Staff were really polite and all tables and floors were clean. I would eat and drink at the Avion again no problem mainly because the staff are switched on, polite and ready to serve you.

Excellent staff, extremely well run, always spotlessly clean, nice beer garden at the front and back, food is always good.
