The Apple Orchard - Home Furniture Shop in Sandwīp, Bangladesh
Visited with friends on a bike ride on Saturday morning. There is space to park your bikes, you go in through to the cafe and then you get to sit inside where they display some very artistic stuff for sale (some pictures attached). Nice mirrors, lamps, a beautiful gear clock, was tempted but didn’t fancy lugging it on the bike.Had a great coffee and Victoria sponge cake. The staff were so patient even with someone who took such a long time trying to get a vegan, gluten free cake and walked him through all the options (but he wasn’t satisfied). Definitely added this to our must visit again places.
Lovely coffee and cafe. The coffee, cakes and lunches are really good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. This is all in a great setting: plenty of outside tables in the court yard garden which is lovely and sunny, in the winter or when wet there is a great range of sofas in the shop to sit on. Always find something in the furniture to buy too….
An absolute gem of a place for shopping or dining. Lots of little seating areas inside and outside. Lovely welcoming staff and delicious food.
The service was lovely indeed. What I didn’t know was The Apple Orchard is in fact a furniture store too. Little quirky items throughout; I will happily venture back, to eat more cake and browse, and purchase a few items that caught my eye. Well done guys - a job well done.
Lovely cafe garden, very pretty and probably OK for coffee and a cake, but quality of our lunch left a lot to be desired. Overpriced for ordinary fare (ham and cheese from a supermarket packet it seemed). Not good value for money. My "smoked salmon pate" bagel cost just under £9. For that I got a bagel, thinly spread watery smoked salmon and cream cheese spread (not what I would call pate), 2 slices of cucumber, a little rocket and about half a packet of crisps on the side
Delightful location, friendly and efficient staff, good food.
Lovely cafe in a quaint and quirky furniture shop. Very friendly, and fast, service and beautiful tasty food.
The best cafe in Bucks , the service is so friendly and attentive.
I‘ m going to give 4 stars as the food was absolutely excellent, I’m being serious when I say it’s among the freshest, most delicious meals I’ve had but also the most expensive. The price (eg 8.95 for one piece of bruschetta or 6.95 for a sausage roll or 5.95 for a kids cheese sandwichis completely absurd. Yes it’s good but not £9s good. I couldn’t give less than 4 though as the quality, service and staff were all too good not to. We really enjoyed the Oh My Guac Bagel, Sausage Roll, Bruschetta, Rustic Cheese and Ham Sandwhich but the Ploughman’s was good but you could do just as good at Tesco or something. All in all, very very good but incredibly pricy. Worth a visit if you have some spare money!
Love this shop... lots of interesting stock and the cafe is lovely. Just had a beautiful salted caramel and chocolate cake😊 with my tea.
Lovely coffee and cake in the cafe garden after some serious (and lovely itemsshopping.
Went for cream tea, pretty good, but skimped on the cream. Nice garden. Added attraction of the shop.
An essential stop for lunch after our walk! The best sausage rolls ever!!
We really loved this place. Everything is super cute, the food is amazing the cakes are really nice, the stuff is super friendly and service very fast. The interior is nice an cozy but also the garden is amazing to sit and enjoy the sun.
Best Coffee spot in West Wycombe! Amazing service and super friendly staff and the most amazing backyard to enjoy your coffee, tea and cake. A must when youre in West Wycombe.
A great find. Tucked away from West Wycombe high street, discover this gorgeous little cafe and roof garden. Tasty food, fresh cakes and drink together with personal service from hard working attentive staff.
Rarely have we been to a place with such a warm welcome from the start, and consistently throughout our visit. Idyllic garden table enhanced by the most delicious orange lemon and lime gluten-free cake...an excellent place, fully deserving its accolades. Very highly recommended.
Great experience! Friendly staff that make you feel super welcome. Brownies are amazing. Overall we loved it.
Lovely cafe behind a village "antiques" shop. I went there with a good friend for a refreshing cup of tea plus a slice of home made cake after a bracing winter walk. Its small but the welcome is warm and the cakes varied and delicious. They dont only sell cakes they also do sandwiches and light lunches.Of course as you leave you will be tempted to browse in the shop and may be tempted to buy. I dare you !
Fantastic place with delicious cakes. The staff were so friendly and attentive even though it was a super busy Saturday afternoon. Had the blueberry and elderflower cake, was super scrummy! Recipe please? 😝
I have discovered the Apple Orchard by mistake. I was on my way to find an Internet cafe. I saw a lovely place. The team are very Kind, professional, helpful, competent. about the food is very tasty and well presented, suitable for vegetarian and prices are affordable for what youre expected. The place by himself has this indescribable so British atmosphere...I have enjoyed any single moments ( 5 hours later.. I had breakfast, lunch and tea Ive met a lovely french- British couple. I had a quick look at the charming shop and left with a beautiful set of jewellery..
Im giving it four stars because staff were really friendly. Food was amazing but a little pricey so not a cheap spot for tea and cake
Lovely shop with friendly staff. Gorgeous gifts at reasonable prices. The cafe is pretty amazing too x
Randomly happened upon this little treasure trove, and was so delighted.Amazing shop with unique finds for Christmas and treated ourselves to delicious coffee and cake before heading on to the rest of our hike. We’ll definitely be back in the NY, thank you!
Just had a lovely walk followed by a really delicious and wonderful coffee/cake stop at the Apple Orchard. Was so impressed, they catered for all our dietary needs, with one dairy free, one gluten free and one with severe nut allergy…..yet we all had something delicious (which never happens). Thank you so much, we will definitely be back! 😍
Lovely shop (with a caféthat always seems to have a fabulous range of ornaments, linens, home furnishings and furniture. Quite unlike anywhere else weve found. Always interesting and theres always been something (usually more than onethat we really liked for ourselves or our intended recipient.
Decent coffee and food, but the best part is the unique experience of the beautiful old house full of elegant furniture etc. Definitely worth a stop.
Highly recommend! The place itself is beautiful but its the staff and food that make it so much better. Loads of lovely pieces in the shop too. Will definitely be coming back. So friendly.
We stopped here on a drive back to London. The tea and cakes were delicious, including a great vegan carrot. The garden and shop make it a very cosy setting to relax in too.
This was an amazing place! Dogs are made a fuss of, food was the most delicious I have tasted for a long time. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved it Totally recommend.
We came here for a quick snack. I had a caramel latte and a scone with cream and jam and let me tell you....it was banging!!The cafe itself is really unusual and has lots of different rooms to sit in. The staff were very friendly and also dogs are allowed! Highly recommend and I will absolutely be going again. Thanks, Apple Orchard!!
The BEST café i have every been to, its quite, set in a rural location and a great place to bring friends and family for an afternoon tea. would definitely recommend going!
This was such a lovely place! My friend and I had lunch here last Saturday. We both had bagels which were large with very generous fillings! The garden was full of interesting ornaments and lovely plants and flowers. The service was quick, friendly and very professional. The shop was also fantastic with all sorts of lovely home and gift ideas. Next time I am down south, I will definitely be visiting.
This is my favourite lunch and/or coffee with cake place. Inside is lush and the garden is truly an oasis. The staff are so lovely and always make me smile. The food and coffee are always delicious and the cakes are stunning.
Nice cafe style experience outdoors. It has been a nice escape from home during the final phase of lockdown. Nice drinks and tasty food. Well worth a visit.
Owner very keen for every persons visit to be exceptional. Had a great chat with him. On my first visit with my two daughters it was lovely food, beautiful location and decor. I can see why its so popular. Pre book for busy periods!
🥯 bagels+coffee i had here were the best one Ive had on this side of the pond. will go back for more food (.. . at least, for the scotch egg whose description on the menu makes mouth water !like the amazing sausages that we had (while deciding what to order)absolutely love the Tudor interiors, orchard outdoor tables and the well chosen household items for sale inside(like the big big clocks - all with smiley faces)do drop by if you are driving through; otherwise drive-to- here.also, yes check-in on nhs and maintain social distancing. definitely noticed the kind staff guide a couple of customers on the new norm (hopefully temporary).
Wife and I saw this place on Trip Advisor and decided to drop in for lunch and a coffee. It’s a coffee shop/shop and a sort of community place with lovely modern decor, comfortable seating and some lovely craft items in several rooms of the downstairs shop. Staff were very attentive and the food was spot on and served in good time. West Wycombe is an old quaint village, quiet. We were glad we stopped by after our visit to nearby NT Hughenden. Well done The Apple Orchard 🙌
Such a great local find - Coffee and cakes are excellent and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Plus we always seem to leave with something from the lovely shop. Parking off street and a lovely way to spend an afternoon with a friend or alone
Really lovely little shop with different modern home furnishings, has some lovely paintings and ornaments. Cafe is gorgeous, connected to shop, so has indoor and outdoor seating. Food was great, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan options, and lots of cake! Also, dog friendly!
Wonderful cafe with very pleasant staff/owners. Really nice interiors. Great Bagels, cakes and best almond flat white Ive ever tasted. Went with my 2 preschool children who found a box of toys and books, very much appreciated the child-friendly touches. Daughter loved her cake slice, thanks guys!!
Lovely staff and great cake, the Vegan gluten free brownie was delightful, and the millionaires shortbread was beautifully caramelly (is that a word?!
Gorgeous gravel courtyard garden, ginger & lemon tea and scone. I feel like Ive just been on holiday for an hour. Staff are great too. Thank you! Calm has been restored!
We visited the apple orchard for the first time today having visited the sweet shop down the road. It was truly a wonderful experience, we were made to feel at home immediately and the hospitality by the gentleman working was superb. The food was absolutely amazing (the blueberry and elder flower cake is incredible). We even left with two home made scotch eggs which also went down a treat. A beautiful, cosy place with a beautiful garden and wonderful staff. If youre in the area and looking for peace and tranquility then look no further.
A lovely little café with a good selection of cakes and savory snacks. Dog friendly too.
Top notch venue, food and service. Really enjoyed visiting here after a lovely walk through West Wycombe. We will be back!
tucked away behind a quirky furnishings shop. Lovely little tea room with very friendly and attentive staff. Decorated with a very slight nod to the steampunk aesthetic. Sandwiches they provide are delicious but note dont appear on their menu! if you ask however theyll pretty much make up whatever you want.
Fanatic place, the store is full of so many lovely additions to your home decor. I stopped by with my young son and had a coffee and cake the on a sunny weekday morning, all the staff are so lovely and friendly, the attention to detail is amazing and everyone there clearly takes huge pride in what they have at the orchard tree. I will be visiting again for sure.Good parkingLovely locationLocal feelAmazing serviceGood coffee (the extra shot, makes all the difference)Chris
The coffee shop is such a great place. Any one whos been to West Wycombe will know that being on the high street its often quite busy and loud down by the road but the coffee shop at the Apple Orchard is tucked away behind the main buildings and is very peaceful. It has a great outdoor space and a really nice seating area inside as well. Lots of history in the village and the surrounding buildings. They have a great selection of food and coffee at a reasonable price. Its a easy going shop as well and somewhere that I wouldnt hesitate to bring my kids to. Its one of the few places in West Wycombe that has its own off street parking too. You can get into it from the Apple Orchard shop or from the back car park without going through the shops. Its just recently been opened so the whole place is fresh and clean. Overall I cant say enough positive things about it. I just hope people come in and take a look because just walking down the high street you wouldnt know that it opens up into such a great space.
Cafe tucked away with a beautiful garden. Very happy and friendly staff who where pleased to see you. Wish I hadnt had lunch before arriving as the food looked stunning!
