The Annex Hotel Tavern in Surigao

Enjoyed the stay good bed good location clean and tidy a bit more expensive than i first thought when I booked on the internet it was 1200 but when we arrived it was 1800pesos but pretty good all round

My bf and i enjoyed our stay here, very convenient to anywhere we go, air conditioning was a godsend since it was a very humid weather.The receptionist we had was so pretty and polite and greeted us whenever she can.Cant wait for our next hotel stay, it was a home away from home.

Offers overnight parking (helpful for us since we roadtripped from Davao-Surigao and took the boat to Siargao). Parking fees differ where you park though so make sure you ask! Hotel is a bit old and elevator isn’t working, but it’s a good layover place and has wifi in common areas!

Would give this hotel 0 stars if possible.On arrival of check in the receptionist (Ninawas not welcoming at all and also very rude infact when checking us in. She couldn’t find my name/booking and instantly told me I had come to the wrong hotel (even though it had the exact same name and pictures of the room on the leaflets at the front desk?. . . she then realised she was in the wrong but kept talking in Philippino and laughing with the security guard whilst we was stood there waiting whilst also answering both her and the hotel phones with no intention of prioritising us. 30 mins later we finally got into the room and it was very unhygienic and covered in cobwebs and mosquitos. The facilities online and also on the leaflets state that every room has good wifi but we could only connect in reception lobby. The tv remote contained no battery’s and the signal was so poor the TV was unwatchable. Will not be returning nor recommending to anyone. Avoid this place.

Loved my one-night stay here. For its price, it’s a walking distance to the port to siargao. The hotel is very clean and the room smells good! They have a water station in the hallway, water glass in the room, closet, tv, free WiFi, air conditioned room, towels, soap, and above all, water heater! The room has pretty good space as well. Overall, great experience, didn’t disappoint. We also left our car to go to siargao for only 100pesos/day. During our stay, the parking was free.
