Posh mall offers high-end retailers, eateries, a theater & electric trolley, plus a landscaped park.
They have different types of stores and restaurants. Trolly is nice also for kids, now with christmas season they brought huge sanata house and christmas tree.
I love the Americana! I specifically went to the Samsung store but anytime I go to this location, I love to walk around and explore. I ended up at a Cadillac Lyriq experience store and test drove the vehicle, which really surprised me and I ended up loving the SUV. Definitely a great place to walk around and see a wide variety of shops from technology, to clothing, to a movie theater and so many restaurants. Its also a great place to just relax and the grassy areas and get some snacks the different small vendors.
Clean. Cute. Christmas decos are almost done 😍
No longer any free parking with purchase; at least not with any of the shops that used to.Many storefronts are boarded up or being gutted. Not surprising these days.Likewise many places don’t have the late hours they used to. Again. It common these days.Good news if your going for the cinema as they are gutting some of the theaters and adding Dolby and IMAX screens which are common at many other LA locations.Cupcake 24/7 ATM is often stocked and fills those craving when everything else is closed.Dining options are limited in the mall itself. More for shopping. Then there are showcase shops like Tesla, Cadillac, etc which aren’t really “stores” so they’re not going to be on your regular haunt list. Just mentioning the last of actual shopping and dining options. It’s a cool vibe; especially if the trolly is running. Then there the water show. Not a whole lot to do their regularly except maybe the cinema. The parking and rental apartments take up more space than the actual shops.
Funny how big money can do anything they want. The expansion of the Glendale mall has caused a huge congestion in the area. It has brought in some big names in shopping and restaurants. Basically more expensive housing rather than affordable places to live in a modern shopping area in Central Glendale
Met a great friend for lunch. First time here, totally blown away, the stores, restaurants decorations!!! Wow! I’ll be back when all decorated for Christmas 🎄!
Tons of parking available, and a wide selection of stores. Everything is well maintained and there are plenty of options for food and shopping.
Always a nice walk in the Americana. Nice stores and food options. Worth your time to at check out at least once.
Had To Go to Samsung Store !! Was very Pleased to Find New Mall. Nice Place for Shopping, Eating, and Enjoying Ones Self
Beautiful shopping mall, tons of shops moved out and new ones in - result of the pandemic. They currently have a concept store of Amazon’s I thought was interesting - barcode shopping to have your clothing delivered to your dressing area, different brands to buy in one store, like a mini mall.
Its obvious why people love this place. Yes, it has a movie theater, a bookstore, and the original #1 Apple Store in the entire world. But thats beside the point. EVERY shopping mall has this. What sets this apart, is the meticulous detail paid to mimick a European town. Yes, this is a form of consumerism but so what? The appeal of Europe isnt in its rustic buildings throughout time, I mean that adds to the beauty but thats not the main point. And this place is much more modern than that. Let me explain why the architecture is European and why week love it...The reason we love being in Europe is the *walkability* of it all. This area is the epitome of being a walkable space where you dont need a car for anything! Even though all those car dealers are just a couple blocks down the street. All your material needs can be met just by living here --if you can afford it.You can get your coffee. You can buy your fashion. Consumerist, yes. So whats wrong with this? Its a shopping mall if youve forgotten. Just enjoy it for what it is.
Really great stores. The people who shop here though are douches who are really entitled. The area is beautiful, but the people shopping can ruin it. Just gotta keep to yourself & enjoy the beautiful day. :)
First of all, let me simply observe that a 4.6 for any institution like a shopping mall is impressive, objectively speaking. People love this mall, and the people who dont are just difficult to please types with particular grudges to bear. The best feature of the Americans at Brand is that it is a fully outdoor mall that uses a fountain, lawn and mini railroad to evoke the feeling of a small town community a la the Vegas strip x Hollywood. Thats the vibe and if you arent prepared to accept that vibe go someplace else. The parking lot can be a bit much. Valid alternatives are the Galleria lot behind the Target or on the surrounding streets, which is my go to.
It Was Nice And Beautiful. The Cheesecake Factory Tasted Great But It Was Similar To The Grove In FairFax And Buena Vista Street In Disney’s California Adventure, Located At Disneyland, But It Felt I Was Visiting A Place In Europe.
Great place to have Dinner and a movie 🎬
The most beautiful place Ive ever been too, it gets even better during holidays. Would recommend for any tourist to visit.
If youre into a generic major retail shopping experience complete with a fake Disney main street USA vibe, trolley, and piped in Sinatra tunes this is the place for you. There are actually apartments in the complex as well. You can literally live at the mall.
The name doesn’t lie. Big chicken sandwich. Great flavor! The Shack Attack burger is a perfect size! Highly recommend this establishment!
Not a bad outdoor mall, but certainly not my favorite. Yes, there are plenty of stores, restourants and kiosks here, but theres usually a lot of people and nowhere to park. Just a tad bit overrated if you ask me. This is more of a place for the younger crowds to be at.
Went to movie night. Had a great time, courtesy of David Yurman. Thanks Douglas!!
Personally, I like it better than the The Grove at Farmers Market. The architects were successful in creating a place that attracts people and provides varying conveniences through which to enjoy this venue. There are ample grassy areas where people can sit and relax along with seating and walkways. There is also access to Brand Blvd, Central, and to the Galleria.I dont find most of the stores very interesting and many like Forever 21 and the Amazon store, cater to younger people though it also has lots of nice restaurants and a beautiful Nordstroms. Many businesses closed due to the pandemic but new ones have opened and others are slated to open. And there is parking that isnt expensive and convenient.
No" 1 mall in Los Angeles. In comparison to to the Grove and many other its definitely the best to visit. Its spacious, comfortable and cozy place , and watching the dancing fountain and if you hot lucky and take the tram , it will absolutely put you in a good mood. There is many food options around the place in a walking distance.Dont miss the opportunity to take the elevator at the clock tower in front of the fountain, and go to the roof to watch all the area in aerial view.
From parking to shopping to services are five stars.
Loved the atmosphere of this place! Has a very cool vibe that reminded me of the courtyard area of Disneyland when you first get in the main park.Theres a big fountain area in the middle that has trolley tracks going around it and is lined with shops and restaurants, which is closed in by the surrounding hotel/apartments. Has a cozy and intimate feelings to it which makes it a very cool place to hang out and walk around.Underground parking available here, too.Check this place out if youre in the area and you havent already.
Beautiful area with nice selection of stores and restaurants. Extremely nice fountains and overall wonderful ambience. Very accessible with reasonable parking. Also if you are picking up food, I think you can ask the restaurant to validate your parking ticket for free 15 min of parking.
Love it...such a nice place to spend the day....shopping and outside sitting area....
First time at this mall. Similar to the Grove but not as crazy packed with people. A valid alternative that is not that far away. Seems to have better food options in the surrounding area that are easy to walk to.
SO BEAUTIFUL. It’s similar to the Grove but bigger, trendier, and nicer. SOOO many more shops and affordable options to hangout and vibe. Celebrity sightings every time I visit.
A busy, fun area. We rode the free trolley around the area and hung out on the grassy area which had live music on Friday evening
This place was awesome! We actually stumbled upon it not having any plans for visiting it specifically. And had a great time 👍
I think this place is not a mall but a resort. Ambiance is by far the best Ive seen. Friendly people, an abundance of luxury store choices and of course a plethora of awesome food and drink choices.
Always an enjoyable, mood-elevating experience to come here and walk around. Excellent atmosphere and sights to see. Will continue to return.I recommend all to come here!
The Americana at brand is a classy open air mall with a beautiful fountain, a top notch movie theater and a bunch of first rate stores and stands. It’s clean and pretty! Plenty of cafes and restaurants, from high end steakhouses like Bourbon Steaks to fast food burgers including a giant In&out and a shake shack. Many cafes here including one of the few remaining “The Coffee Bean” and the Chase Bank Cafe where you can sip a money-flavored mocha or a cash-macchiato. 😂😅One might say that it’s fun for the whole family. They have entertainment like movies and holiday events. Many nice bathrooms that are well maintained and lots of Wi-Fi hotspots.
Went on Sunday night and it was extremely packed. Couldn’t walk anywhere without bumping into someone. But besides that, great place with some nice stores and good restaurants. They even had a band go around the area and played some Christmas songs. After that, it started to “snow” there! Be mindful of when you go though, and if you park in the Bloomingdale’s structure it’s free and only a two minute walk, versus paying to park in the Americana structure
Beautiful Christmas decorations, cheery, bright and just an awesome place to visit. Fabulous water show too, the music, shops, restaurants and a movie theater all attractive and a perfect place for the entire family ❤💯
Great location for leisure shopping. Lots of shops & restaurants to choose from bring your kids for the tram joy-ride, its fun!
My favorite place. We went on Sunday, we have a mini live concert, was amazing. At night, around 10 pm, they have many lights and they have like a small show with clasic music in the water fountain. This place is amazing for photos and being with the family
Such a gorgeous area to shop and dine. I especially love that it’s pet-friendly. The water fountain show is lovely and the grassy area is prepared so that we can properly social-distance.Parking was $2 per hour. Parking validation is only available if you spend $200 or more (this is what the sales associate told me at Sephora).
Open shopping center with all the fun stores including Apple, Barnes and Noble, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, plus a plenty of restaurants and/or snack places. The plaza is lovely. The fountains and green open spaces make it ideal for a summer evening.
Always a great place to come and enjoy food, shopping and people watching! Our favorite place to eat is Fridas Mexican Restaurant. :-)
Great valet parking. Fun place to walk around with family and lots of good places to eat.Come down watch the fountains, eat at the Cheesecake factory or Katsuya and enjoy friends-family here
I had family visiting here from France and I brought them here. They loved it. We rode the train around and went from store to store. Had lunch at cheesecake Factory and spent the bulk of the day here. Great memories and have gone back since. Taurus or locals this is a great place to visit. Just think the Grove on steroids.
Very nice upscale shopping place.Beautiful stores, movie theater, book store and nice restaurants are some of places you can visit there plus water fountain show with lights, live music and trolley ride to go around the area.During weekends gets really crowded.
Very nice place with lots of high end stores, movie theaters and good restaurants. The place has a retro or art deco type of style on their buildings and it makes it better with a nice water fountain that sits in the middle of the plaza. Awesome place to just go and chill with your friends, catch a movie and get some good food.
Beautifully decorated...stores are working and Restorans are having take outs. You can still enjoy your drinks or food on outside tables.
Beautiful place to walk around and see the dancing fountain playing Christmas songs during this season. The place is decorated for the season and has a pretty tall Christmas tree. We also went up to the top of the hotel building elevator to see a nice view.
Absolutely excellent place both for shoppining and lunch or dine-in. Atmosphere is magnificent. Magic, love, inspiration - that is the bullet points of the place. Recommend
Great place to shop. Liked Anthropologie, Pacific Theater, H&M, Haagen Dazs, Grass Area, Fountain, Eiffel Tower, even restroom area, and Samsung... Galaxy is too big to fit on photo ;boo to Apple long lines but didnt even wanna go therrr
Great place to go with friends, family, kids, any situation. Ive been here for countless birthdays and other celebrations. Only problem is that i get bored fast. Americana doesn’t necessarily change that much. It still has that statue in the fountains and the ice cream shop, etc. i do want that crepe place to come back they replaced it with macaroons. I like going to the Americana to take great pictures and admire the fine architecture. The photos i posted are the ones i took and edited.
Always a fun place to shop. The holidays will make it even more festive as they decorate this place to the max. Plenty of high-end shops to visit also. Even a theater. Good food too both in restaurants and with food stands. Great spot for people-watching too.
