The Aeronaut in Kabinda

I am basing this review on the drinks and the bar . Nothing else . This is a place for young kids and it’s great that they have a big place like this to go to to dance and party and have fun. However , if you’re coming for a nice drink , don’t bother . Halloween Friday night and a young man dressed as a pumpkin was alone behind the bar for a good 10/15 minutes while a few of us were waiting to be served. This poor guy had to take both food and drink orders, put them through the register and then poor all the drinks and also take payment. We all waited patiently as he plodded on. After quite some time waiting a girl with long blue hair swoons in at high speed and my hopes are up . She’s got this ! She’s straight up next to pumpkin and starts helping with the drinks . When it’s finally my turn I order my pint of Guinness and she gets right to it. In fact I have it in front of me in less then twenty seconds . She’s poured it straight out ! It’s flat and awful and she plonks it on the counter asking for £5.75. This time I pay up through gritted teeth because it’s Halloween and I am not in the mood to argue . I drink it with sadness and dismay . When my friend arrives she gets us two bottles of Sol as we thought it a safer bet . This place is where young kids go to have fun and they don’t care about taste or quality. Here it’s music and fun that counts . Fair enough but not a place for me or anyone thinking it’s a regular pub where staff know their drinks . It’s pour and serve quick that matters here.

Absolutely brilliant, great entertainment and great venue to enjoy the evening. Definitely will go back there again.

Love this local. Friendly staff with easy no nonsense service.lots of seating inside or out in 2 amazing garden spaces . They also have weekend cabaret and entertainment and later a DJ 🥰🎶🎭💃🏽🕺🏻

Very nice place to spend some time with friends by the tasty beer:Good side of this place is the private garden, also with heated boxes.

Really chill atmosphere here. I think they went to a lot of effort to make it feel welcoming, chilled out & intriguing. Lots of nice features but definitely not over the top. Staff are friendly and laid back, but service is always fast. Food is delicious. Really nice garden. Havent tried the late night events or circus show yet.

Bottomless brunch here is amazing. They had top notch service, the drinks were flowing and the staff were fab. Would highly recommend!

It’s not the Redback (former namebut it is still amazing. Wish they’d do more live music.

Went there last week with friends for a circus show. The place was packed!Its a spacious pub were several shows take place regularly.Very nice staff and nice patio at the back.Ill definitely be back!

Night started well , quick service and the food was very nice .Ladies beware!! This is not a circus!! There to celebrate a young lady’s birthday, was not expecting to subject her to a strip show !! Not Burlesque as the staff tried to tell me when I complained . I felt extremely uncomfortable and looking around the room, many of the ladies did too . This is a venue for a stag night not a birthday or date night.We left before the second half as apparently more Burlesque acts!!!!Completely ruined our night !

Held a work event here, staff were great. Really good bbq too.

Been wanting to try this pub for years. I finally did and its excellent! Now regretting all the bad places Ive been instead, well at least i now know. Good beer, nice food. Give it a go 👍

I was a suprised how big the pub was, inside and outside. Food and beer were good but it took a long time to get served.

Huge pub that also doubles as a late night cabaret venue, huge space and massive garden, used to be the redback, so can still pull in a late night crowd on the weekends. Average food and drinks. Nice staff.

My experience was terrible the food was disgusting and so expensive. Took them ages to get our food but we couldnt eat it. We ordered fish n chips. My friend had a burnt burger awful and very expensive.

Shockingly bad meal at the Aeronaut. It used to be good food here but not anymore. The menu is completely uninspiring. There were no childrens options apart from fish and chips. The fish and chips came with the mushy peas missing. We asked for the missing peas and they turned up freezing cold, straight out of the fridge. Wife ordered a chicken burger which came without the aioli sauce and with fat chips instead of skinny fries. I ordered a rare steak which came well done and without the chimichurri sauce (instead some tasteless luminous green liquid, which I still dont know what it was). Sent the steak and the mushy peas back. The steak came back fine but the peas never materialized again, neither hot nor cold. It should be a basic ask that we actually get the food we have paid for shouldnt it? When ordering had asked to swap chips for salad which was apparently impossible? The chips that did come out on all the meals were overcooked and looked like theyd re-heated from earlier.Wont be going back there for food again. This would be a 1 star review if it were not for some of the staff offering a few free lemonades and ice cream for the children by way of an apology, which was appreciated.

Looks like it should be a great place. Let down a bit by the food. Uninspiring menu and burgers which were pretty ordinary. Decent tap selection.Would I go back, probably not. Staff were friendly enough though.

The Aeronaut is a great place if you would like to spend some time with your friends and still social distancing. Well is hard to do so in the toilets :-). Both parts of garden are well equipped with heaters. Loved igloos, despite the booking price still worth to visit. Hot chicken is must to try as it is fingerlicking good as well as potato fries. Staff is very polite and everyone can find their own secluded space. We loved it here.

The greatest pub I have ever been.The circus show was amazing with a very comfortable and intimate atmosphere.After the circus, the music and dance has a sort of community feel with people having fun together and everyone having a good time.The food we ordered was very well made as well as the drinks. The staff was polite and helpful.The overall experience was amazing and there is probably nowhere else in london where youll have such a good time along with the performers and the people around you.Very unique experience for a very unique pub.

The Aeronaut is a very unique venue. The vibe is awesome and the circus show was really great. The performers are so skilled and talented. We had a great experience and time there.Only major negative thing that was really bad was the online order system and table service.It took one hour for us to receive our food!?!Other people arrived after us and got there orders way before us. I had to ask the venue host to check and he took our order down again manually to help which was very nice of him, but still it took a while after that for the food to come.I timed it. It took almost 1 hour 25mins to get food to us. It was mega long, my partner and I were so hungry. That was the only major negative with the place.Regarding the food it was very high quality and tasty when it did come.I highly recommend this venue, but they need to improve the table service system.

Went for the bottomless brunch. Some of our party were missing food from their breakfasts. We felt the need to go and get the staff to ask for more bottles a few times since we were tucked away outside so probably forgotten about. The outside section is nice but could all do with a good clean. The staff were friendly but just could have done with seeing them more often. All attention seemed to be on the brunch show rather than the other visitors.

Very entertaining circus show and really nice garden with lights in the trees and lots of tables. There was always a seat for a smoke break, even on a Saturday night. Little bit of a dingy pub vibe but overall really fun, and there was an easy-going, creative crowd. They do other events like poetry readings during the week.

The best pub in Acton, if not West London! Friendly, welcoming staff, good food and great beer. Also home to two of the best beer gardens for miles around - the open atmosphere of the Festival/Reserve garden, as well as the cosy intimacy of the Fairground garden with its heated booths.Great to see the ever-helpful staff all happy to be back at work after the long spate of lockdowns, and coping with the ever-changing list of Government guidelines that have been imposed on them over the last few months - even if some of the other reviewers have chosen to hold them personally responsible for what the Government put in place.It can only be a matter of time until the shows return in the Circus area, but in the meantime, a great place to sit, meet friends, enjoy beers, food and sunshine!

Beautiful decor, various themed seating areas, both indoors and outdoors, which are a treat for photos! Great foods, and a decent selection of wines! Overall a great location for food and drinks with friends or family!

Regrettable visit. Maybe the year weve had has taken its toll on the staff. Really no need to take it out on your customers though.Strange during these times really, when you might think pubs would do all they can to help and attract their customers (check out their recent reviews for a consistently low standard of service received!).Awful organisation, primitive payment service with their app, which led to not receiving drinks and having to carry on reminding reluctant staff, no initiative shown by anyone to accommodate customers in a welcoming manner, complete with non-existent customer service.All of this led to the least relaxing time Ive had since falling out of a ski lift and a long way down a rocky cliff. At least looking back on that time I can laugh a little knowing I had more fun than I did while sitting in that doomed beer garden. Last Saturday was a just miserable crying shame!The doorman could do with a Ritalin prescription and and probably hitting the bong really hard many times daily. We witnessed him getting unreasonably angry with some customers. He had the shakes worse than an alcoholic let loose in Saudi Arabia. To be fair given the choice, Id probably get more enjoyment heading over to Saudi for a few beers over a trip to the Aeronaut!

Really poor service from the manager. We booked a table to watch the euro finals and asked for a screen view. We got a poor view of the TV and asked politely if there was any free table with a better view to be able to watch the game if people have cancelled. Instead we got a "you should be grateful to have a table" which was very rude. Add to additional insult the table next to us was then told there was space for them to watch the game indoors and they wasnt even there for the game and they acknowledged that to us. So I feel the manager had neglected us and i felt unwelcome and had to leave. I wont be coming to this place in the future and will certainly not recommend this place to anyone else. Id I could give a zero star rating I would. Customer service is very important and hope they take note.

Booked a table for the Euro 2020 final and was told the game would not he shown. Went in by chance on the day and was given the worst table they had even though they had plenty spare. We requested a few times before kickoff if we could move inside and watch the game so we could 1. See the TV and 2. Be out of the rain. We were smirked at and told no by the MANAGER! We then witnessed her taking others from the rain inside. We ended up leaving the establishment due to the extremely rude manager and staff as they all giggled that we had asked for a better seat due to no shows. Needless to say we left. If you want a good pub in West London try The Chatsworth it has much better staff and cheaper drinks plus they have a lot more screens all with good views. We wont be going back to Aeronaut especially not for a big game. Complete let down and utterly disrespectful! I think 1 star is generous! Thankfully we live local so were able to leave and make it back home to watch the whole game before KickoffAVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Amazing garden and nice pub inside. Lovely bartender but absolutely horrible waitress with a blue hair - rude and hideous body language. I work in the hospitality and i cant believe how much attitude shes giving. Such a nice place and such a shame that waitress like that is working there.

Went here on Saturday for a themed bottomless brunch, the staff were super friendly and attentive, always topping up our drinks before wed even finished them! The vegan brunch option didnt get great feedback from others in my group but I thought the poached eggs were amazing. Bottomless drinks were served for about 2 hours 20 minutes (we were one of the first groups seated so I guess they need to make sure the last group seated also get the full 2 hoursand loved the entertainment and quizzes. Already have tickets for another themed brunch next month!

Had lunch in the Carnival Garden today. The host and waiters were efficient, friendly and welcoming, they showed me everything I needed including the covid-safe one way system and how to order.The garden was pretty and fun with its quirky carnival stall themes booths, with plenty of shade from the sun, and with less people around than usual it was lovely and quiet.The food was delicious too, my only personal downside was the length of the journey, which is simply down to geography!

I have been to some great venues since July fourth. This one is where I feel safest. In addition to a very large and lovely outdoor space these guys are strict on the rules and big on the fun. They don’t mess around with your health or their hospitality. As bookings are strongly recommended especially for Fridays and Saturdays as a local I have now made a regular booking for the weekend. The singers are awesome. Can’t wait for all their shows to be back!Was a walk-in tonight had to register for track and trace but the food on the eat out to help out was incredible. They are using local suppliers! ❤️ My favorite venue in Acton!

We had my daughter hen do there .. Disney sing along brunch ..it was amazing from start to finish staff were fabulous .the energy in the room was buzzing .the food was tasty.a fab day had by all

Paid £16 to see a circus show. I was given a seat behind a column that blocked the show. When I asked to be given a seat that allowed me to see the show I paid to see I was rudely told its my fault for buying the cheapest ticket (£16 normal ticket £42 VIP were the options)

LOVED The Aeronaut! Came to London with some friends for a birthday weekend. We booked a table here for one of the traveling acts, Circo Fiesta. The show itself was amazing, the servers were top notch (and so talented! They sang throughout the night), food was only ok (they had very few options the night we were there- only three apps and three entrees all of which were meh). We didnt go primarily for the food though, so I didnt care.Drinks were affordable, pretty standard price. The vibe was just very cool and you could tell everyone was having a great time.

Service was quick, but the show was amazing. Cant wait to go for the next one. Maybe brunch??

We went for the Disney brunch and I would thoroughly recommend it! It was a great atmosphere and the singers/waiters were brilliant.

Amazing entertainment and staff. Cocktails were wonderful, food was ok. Most of the tables in main room reserved well past the reservation times so people standing while empty tables, but the back room with the entertainment was worth the visit. The team were fabulous, would definitely return.Only lost a star for the toilet facilities.

Wildly entertaining. Something for everyone. Havent laughed that much in years. All the staff were friendly too. Only 4 stars because the food was cold and waited ages for it.

Been here for countless glasses of wine on many occasions , but recently spent the evening celebrating my 28th birthday here and loved it! The garden is huge and really cool, would probably recommend reserving an area if there’s a lot of you as it can be quite busy. I think the food is a little bit expensive for what it is, but no complaints from anyone. Top night!

Went for the when you wish upon a brunch & it really wasnt worth it. Food was overcooked and service was unorganised, drinks were mostly juice & took 30 minutes for them to bring the drinks out. The entertainment was just improvised karaoke. I have a Disneyland annual pass; the cost of the Eurostar is the same as this event - should have just gone away for the weekend...

Roast challenge ate for 2/3 people roast ratings 6.8/10. Needed more gravy was good but I maybe order to much

Great family dining and drinks. Portions are generous. All staff were welcoming and friendly. The bar staff also break it into song, adding to the enjoyment.
