Clean, comfortable, well located hotel with courteous, competent staff. And their locally sourced Full English breakfast is the best I’ve ever had.

Its clear when you enter this independently owned hotel that the staff take a pride in their work. Front of house were very helpful and efficient. Room was clean and modern and the breakfast was beautifully cooked with beautiful ingredients.

Friendly welcome,room was clean and tidy bed was comfortable for us two and breakfast was good and cooked to order with plenty of choice either warm or cold food.

We visited the Abbey Lodge Hotel last weekend to see some friends. We were immediately greeted by some very friendly staff members who went above and beyond to take care of us. They let us check in early for free and helped us with any questions about the local area and booking taxis. The rooms itself was on the top floor and was very small. As it was the top floor it also had a sloped roof which was not good for my 6ft husband (if your tall ask for a lower floor room!!). It was also exceptionally hot in the rooms which wasnt the fault of the staff but if you visit when its warm - take a fan!! The rooms and hotel itself were very clean - absolutely no issues there. The breakfast the next morning is great - you can just order what you want from the cooked menu (so its cooked freshand help yourself to everything else. Overall a great visit and would stay again (just on a lower floor!!)

We stayed here and found everything excellent. The staff were all friendly & polite. The room was spotless, good size & had everything you could need. The breakfast was superb in all ways, particularly the omelette, it was all cooked to perfection. We plan to stay there again and will happily recommend it.

Good, clean hotel. Excellent food. Could do with a lift being installed for people with mobility problems to use.

Callum was a real gentleman. His customer service skills are great.The rooms are large with good facilities. I did have a dirty bath, but you can overlook that because of the Hotel being great value for money, great location , great staff and great atmosphere.

Grand room and location, the young lad on reception wasnt very pleasant.

Good sized rooms with comfortable beds, great central location.Parking is in the street behind and a bit oodd (two rows, one in front of the other so half the cars will be blocked inbut they make you aware of this when checking in and ask if your not using your car to try and use the backrow. There was a full house when I stayed and it seemed to work.

Appalling service. On entering our room we found hairs in bath, dirty towels on floor and the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The owner(?a sweet Indian chap came up to look but sheepishly told us he had a poor sense of smell and they were fully booked so we couldnt be moved. So that was that. We expected at least something off the bill. No chance. Phoned up and complained and were told asomeone would phone back. 3 weeks later and still waiting and then, bwere told "sometimes it happens" referring to people smoking in their rooms. In short, avoid like the plague. Go to a Premier Inn; at least they know the meaning of the words customer service. Of course if you are a smoker and bemoan the obviously Bolshevik and woke practice of denying the right of the polluting individual to spoil things for the majority then go here and spark up in any room to your hearts content since in this establishment apparently they are content with the fact that sometimes it happens.

Good room size, nice beds.Bathrooms need cleaning though - when we got to our room the bin hadnt been emptied. Also the vanity unit in our room had a broken drawer that just kept sliding open.Didnt try breakfast but the receptionist was friendly

Our room was in the basement which wasnt ideal, but cant fault it for size,it was modern and clean the bathroom was good (nice showerEvery thing looked to have been newly refurbished. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

Disgrace of a place, the room was freezing we did tell the staff for them to say theres nothing wrong, then the cleaner told us to be our bang on 11am after being kept up all nite, my partner suffers from fibromyalgia and arthritis I did ring before to make sure the room would be warm. Ive stayed in better Premier inns than this dump there was dust all over and hairs in the top of the plug hole when arriving, the breakfast was cold, cheap sauces rude staff, AVOID AT ALL COSTS OLD RUN DOWN B&B

Excellent clean comfortable hotel with no frills, good location and walking distance to shops, restaurants and salts mill. Good public transport connections.

We had a lovely stay, accommodation was comfortable and had everything we need. All the staff the we met were friendly and polite ,the breakfast was superb. Thank you for a lovely weekend and well see you again 🤗

The rooms are lovely.Ensuite shower room lovely..Beds comfy and everythings spotless.However a lot of noise at night.Get the impression theres a good few workmen stay there?Could be wrong.?Woke up to police and emergency services as the hotel was a crime scene.Through the night someone had been badly beaten up!Hope hes OK.However this wasnt the hotels fault obviously.Cant comment on our breakfast as we couldnt have one due to the kitchen being out of bounds.

Great place to stay. Very comfy beds. Dogs loved it tooVery good breakfast cooked to order.Very clean and covid conscious.Slight downside with parking, as there were enough spaces, but not all drivers considerate enough to use the spaces sensibly

Wonderfully kind people. Thank you so much for your understanding. Great location for visiting Saltaire and all the surrounding areas. Will definitely return when all this covid-19 madness calms down a little. Recommended! Cant thank the owners enough for being so accommodating on such short notice.

I have stayed at this hotels number of times in the last few yearsand have never once been let down. For a bit of background I am retired in my late fifties with my wife Allison and two dogs Ivy and Scooby. The hotel is privately owned and the owner a good old fashioned gent who loves the dogs always with a treat for them. The rest of the staff carry on in his way and nothing is a problem. The hotel itself ís disabled friendly with rooms on the ground floor. Every room is spotless very comfortable with good facilities and the in house food is excellent. The bar is not the biggest but well stocked and very well priced as are the room prices. My advice is give Abbey Lodge a try.

Very good value for money. Staff lovely and friendly and extremely helpful. We asked for a couple of coffee sachets and we were given a whole stack of tea, coffee sugar and milk for our room. The room was small but adequate for the two days we were there. Very nice breakfast

Really friendly helpful staff, comfy bed, clean modern bedroom and large walk in shower. Great choice of yummy breakfast. We spent a lovely couple of nights at Abbey Lodge and would definately stay again. Recommended.

Very limited off-road parking meant that we parked on the main road opposite the hotel entrance, only to discover the following morning that our vehicle had been keyed. (Possibly by local residents, who also have no off road parking). Room was over-warm and theres no lift.

I did like it. There is no lift and the stairs to the rooms are very steep.Room 404 is okay but very warm. There is a column fan in the room. The room is at the same level as the top of a chimney vent so cooking smells enter the room.Nice staff and good breakfast service.We would stay again but on a lower floor.

Had a good nights stay and the breakfast was very enjoyable. Bit tired in some areas but nothing worth complaining about. Great hotel.

Fantastic hotel. beautiful rooms staff are amazing and cannot do enough. Breakfast was fresh cooked every morning and delicious. Very happy with our family stay here and hope to be back.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The guys on the reception went out if their way to help us with getting about locally. Hotel was clean & comfortable, breakfast was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Lodge Hotel. The room was modern looking and the jacuzzi bath was so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We would definitely recommend this hotel for great value.

A pleasant enough hotel with a clean bathroom and bed. The usual amenities youd expect with a TV, ironing board, tea and coffee etc. Nothing out of the ordinary but all present and correct.The front of house team were very polite, pleasant and professional.

Staff were fantastic, rooms were spacious and comfy, if not a little too warm but soon turned the temp down. Within walking distance of the shops & pubs and the cooked breakfast was amazing! Car park was a little like doing a jigsaw but its a popular hotel and was part of the fun. Would return for sure.

Spent one night here, lovely welcoming staff. We were shown up to our room, which is unusual these days, but a great touch. Lovely clean room, with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent, would be delighted to stay there again.

Excellent hotel!!Travelled from Scotland for a funeral and stayed for 2 nights.Staff were polite and friendly, room was clean and warm, shower was perfect and breakfast was also very good.Didnt try their evening menu, however the food sure smelled good when we returned to the hotel.Very close to shops and an Asda which is convenient.Would happily stay again when visiting the area.

Very welcoming staff, really good standard of rooms. Very clean. Great variety for breakfast, meat sourced from local farms. Ideally located, we came to try out the real ale pubs and only a 10 minute walk. At £65 with 2 breakfasts included, I would highly recommend.

Extremely friendly staff on reception and in restaurant. Very relaxed and we were made to feel welcome. Room was very clean and comfortable and made up every day. Breakfast was really good, plenty choice of fruit and cereal and the cooked breakfast was really delicious.

Stayed here for one night while attending a wedding nearby- lovely hotel and lovely staff! Everyone working there was so friendly, from arrival to suggesting a takeaway for us close to midnight! The room was clean and comfy. We really enjoyed their breakfast as well, one of the best full English breakfasts to date! Highly recommended.
