During our 3 days stay in Inle Lake we stoped by Thanakha Garden twice and it was fantastic! They are very kind and friendly family and the food was great!I loved specially the pumpkin soup, and if you need a break of Myanmar food you can also go for the club sandwich, it was very good!

A great place to eat!Staff is friendly and speaks good English, the juices are fresh and the food is tasty.They even bought soy milk for me from a nearby shop for a soy cappuccino.

The best restaurant in the town. I’ve been here several times and every time I ate something different. I’ve never been disappointed, in contrary every time I enjoyed the served plates. The service is very nice, always with a smile and kind. And they don’t make you pay more just because you’re a tourist, like in another place. Close to the city center and still a very peaceful place. A very recommended restaurant. I will miss it!!!

Superb and cheap. Chicken ginger and vegetables. How can a simple dish be so good? Seaweed salad fantastic. Fried tofu exquisite. Ambience calm and relaxing away from big dusty roads.

Beautiful and quiet place hidden at the corner street with affordably priced and with generous portions. The food is really good and is home made. They are friendly and welcoming and overall its a good place for a breakfast lunch or dinner. Also, they accept major credit cards such as VISA and Mastercard as payment. If youre in Inle, this shop is a must try. :)

This is a fantastic restaurant with very tasty and fresh food cooked to order. The papaya and tomato salads are superb and the curries are very tasty.

Wonderful under-cover outside restaurant with a good selection of local and international dishes. The freshly prepared food is very tasty. Staff were helpful to answer our questions regarding the best and safest routes to travel and women in the restaurant were given a free Thanakha.

Wonderful owners, great space, good food, competitively priced, good location. Papaya salad, inlye steamed fish, the most balanced Burmese sweet tea I have ever had, and a bier, because its hot AF right now. Go here and give thanks for all that is good in life, aka this spot.

Really great local place! Owner is super nice person! They have great food options - definitely try Avocado Salad. The whole fish is also great, if I remember well it was 5-6k Kyats. More than worth the money you pay. Also you can ask for a glass of a local red wine which is very tasty (despite local wines around the Inle area). Go for it here :)

On a group of 8 people eating there, we tried both the local and western dishes. Everybody was pleased with the food quality, from the delicious fish curry to the generous chicken club sandwiches. Everybody has been served at the same time, which deserves to be notice in SEA.The staff is kind and friendly, at least one of them seems to speak correct english. For those who like spicy food, I would advise to let them know, so that they can spice it up fir you or itll be more adapted to the tourist tastes.Prices are fair : local food from 2000, western food from 5000 (burgers).I recommend.

the food was really delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy, they have candles on every table during the dinner. the prices are also good for example salads or noodles around 2000-2500. we even had a complimentary after the dinner: fruits and candies. 100% recommended

Excellent Burmese food (also some western food), cozy atmosphere and very decent prices. The staff is the nicest and very competent, even to a western standard. Kitchen and sanitary impressively clean also !

Fantastic outdoor (but coveredterrace seating place with amazing food. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Has great Burmese, Inle and Western dishes at very low prices. Must eat here when visiting Nyaung Shwe.

Lovely location with great food. The avocado salad, rice noodles with vegetable and chocalate lassie were really good. If had stayed longer in Nyaung Shwe I would have eaten there again. Definetely to recommend.

Really nice restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly. Ordered Shan noodles and chicken wings with tea. The noodles were very tasty, but the chicken wings were breaded which were not to my liking. Price is very reasonable and great location. Solid restaurant.

This restaurant exactly knows how to interact with both locals & foreigners. Staffs can advise what kind of cuisine or dish you would enjoy depending your choice of food. In downtown, its one of the best restaurants offering much kinds of luscious food in clean & neat surrounding. Not much pricey either but car parking space is too limited.

Absolute must go! We ate here two nights in a row because the service at atmosphere are just so good. Service is perfect, food is good and prices are relatively cheap. Food is freshly made, so if you have any special requests (could this meal become a veggy meal?they will help you out!

Great restaurant and excellent service. the food was clean and fresh made. prices are fair in a town where the tourist dollar has made things more expensive. just eat here if you have any doubts. as far as myanmar goes, sometimes you gotta watch where you eat due to food poisoning, and its some tropical strength food poisoning. NOT here, its all good and clean, staff are quick and amazing service. 5 star all the way.

A very plaisant lunch in this adorable and higienic restaurant. The surronding neighbors are pretty fancy(for Nyuang Shawe standardand this avocado colored resto is well blended with the good houses around. I felt very happy as soon as I found this spot. I ordered a beef curry and tofu fried as a starter. The sélection was fairely nice. The little daughter of this family, she was too cute that I die with her bashful smile. Curry was super good as gulash.

Possibly the best restaurant I visited in Myanmar. The Burmese curries are a must. Very tasty and only 3,000 Ks. I was amazed by this curry and Ive tried a lot of restaurants in Myanmar. The restaurant is very clean, modern and quiet with light piano music playing. They also provided free watermelon and a local sugarcane candy at the end. They are also one of the rare restaurants that accept credit card.

Very nice location and atmosphere. Decent imitation of western food if you need a break from burmese food. They also have nice traditional food. Friendly staff as everywhere in myanmar.

Western food. The owner is very king and welcoming. The place is quite but in the center. The food was very good! The end of the meal you get watermelon om the house with some local treat. We enjoyed to sit there and pass the time.

It was not just a good supper, but an amazing feast of Burmese cuisine! Highly recommended to order fantastic hot courses made of freshly caught fish from Inle Lake. Definitely best place in Nyaungshwe.

Fantastic seasonal strawberry shake, lovely green papaya salad, tasty pancakes. When you are around Inle make sure to try the salads and the tofu made by the locals in the villages! Quick and professionally served! In the end they also give some sweets and watermelon. Cheap prices. Maybe not that cosy as other places but they make it nice with a little candle and some music.

They helped to put together an unforgettable dinner.Good wines at attractive prices. Not much more than shoulds give the in stores. Hidden in the side street I came across Thanaka garden seeing their ad.Dim lighted wooden/bamboo made restaurant with many candles. Quiet English music in the background.Good English speaking & attentive staff. Price was reasonable for the freshness. Softest pancake Ive ever had. Oh, and theres a cat too.Come here with your love one.

The club sandwich is made with fresh ingredients and delicious. They have the best french fries that I have tasted in Myanmar. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and service! Cheap too! We had four main courses between four people, plus drinks and rice, and it was less than 6000 a head. They even give you a free appetizer and free sugar cane stuff and watermelon for dessert! Id recommend the special fish, club sandwich, potato and chicken curry. All delicious.

Great Burmese food for very reasonable prices. Their fruit shakes are pretty good too. Really enjoyed the tea leaf salad! They even put some mosquito coils by the feet of the tables to help minimize any disruptions to your meal (we got eaten alive at some other spots).
