Tham Dynasty Chinese Restaurant in Bairnsdale

We had a large group of 3 families and had a lovely meal. Food was served in good time, tasty and fresh. Meals looked a little expensive on the menu but ordering a few and sharing worked great as they were very large servings, so the end bill was very reasonable. Perfect for a relaxed family meal.

Food was beautifully cooked. Seemed pricey but you get a lot for your money. You wont leave hungry. Will definitely eat here again

We have been to a lot of Asian restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne and enjoy genuine Asian cuisine. Tham Dynasty service was good although at times overly relaxed. Food was average and definitely over priced, well above city prices. It was my first time here with family but shocked with the bill so I wont be back.

Great food

We went here last night for dinner. We ordered the Banquet B. Everything was fresh and tasty. A little more expensive. The waitress was friendly and very accommodating. It was pretty busy so things took a little longer to come out but for us having the Banquet that was fine. My only complaint would be the chairs, sitting there for 2 hours they arent very comfortable. Other than that it was a good night.

We had a great banquet meal here. The service was great and the food was beyond good. Even though the poor waitress was run off her feet the food kept coming at regular intervals. Highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible the food was beautiful next level service and I told them this as I went to pay a well over $150 bill and they said don’t worry about it! How lovely 🥰

Ate Dinner here last night. It was absolutely amazing.

We were very happy with our dishes Sea food served in potato basket, king prawn cashew nuts, and steamed rice. Sea food and vegetables fresh and tasty, not overcooked, portions big. I wasnt able to finish mine. Staff friendly. Left restaurant full and satisfied.

Over priced, small portion, soups were all water no flavour.

Best Chinese food in Victoria so far!Not oily not salty but really tasty. You can taste the real flavour on the original food.So different from the lots of Chinese restaurants with too strong favorites and not real taste of the Chinese food should be in Vic. Dessert were nice as well.Went there twice for dinner when we stayed in Paynesville for couple nights.The girls and boy were fantastic. Good service and super friendly. The lady owner was very nice.Will certainly be back when we are around.

Food is pretty good, would be a 4 however being told there was a 30minute wait and then waiting 1hr 20mins for a takeaway order was not a great look

Good food but very expensive,l can understand a price increase, but $15 for steamed rice is overpriced. I have been tomany Asian restaurants and not paid $92 for a shared entree, 2 mains, steamed rice and 1 Chinese tea. Okay its holiday season, but spare a thought for the locals who support these businesses when no one else is here.

What a nightmare just wanted to eat in and have a nice meal. Waited 1 hour for our food.They had no hesitation piling everyone together in front of the window. My husband could not back his chair out. Wrong at any timeHowever Vic in state emergency due to virus pandemic is even more distressing. We just got up and moved away in the rest of the empty restaurant. Food was ok. I would recommend takeaway only. It is not worth it.

Food was OK.....but all the meat, and even the seafood was tenerised using the good old Chinese method of either bi-carb soda or other marinade.......the thing that really dropped the place in my estimation was $11.00 for a rather small amount of rice for two people......this can be put down to greed, pure and simple.....I assume the Tham Dynasty will thrive, thank heavens it doesnt rule or we would all be very deeply out of pocket.......I dont mind paying a fair price, but hate being ripped off. If youre OK with paying through the nose, go there. If not, there are surely bettre ways you can spend your hard earned money.What a pity greed ruins good times.....,

Very nice chinese food, relaxed, clean,friendly staff. Our family didnt think it was over priced for 5 ppl, try it out yourself we are from Melbourne.

Quite disappointed . Have been now on at least 3 seperate occasions and it gets worse each time. Meals are really quite small, Fried rice has little if any taste! Customer service is non existent . We were the only people in the restaurant in the beginning and they FORGOT we were there. Had to go and find staff to place an order. Sit in meals very expensive. Go to the Thai restaurant instead......

The dishes are not bad, but they supply really poor meal, every dish just small as hell. But the price is much higher than the Melbourne CBD restaurant. Please consider, no offense
