Thai Spice in Dedham

First time ordering from Thai spice and I’m disappointed. I got pad Thai and my boyfriend got drunken noodles. I thought mine tasted like trash, barely any flavor and the flavor that was there was not pleasant. He said his drunken noodles were good but not great, so certain menu items may be better than others here. But to order pad thai at a Thai restaurant and have it taste bad is a red flag. I would not order from here again.

So we all agree inflation has occurred. But here, it happened 2-fold. Not only have the prices gone up markedly, but the portions have also very noticeably shrunk. We’ve been good customers, but how long is the question.

I used to eat here years ago, and I think the ownership has changed hands a few times. The food we had tonight was excellent. We ordered 4 chicken Pad Thais. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the noodles were soft without being overly sticky. Very impressed.

Family ordered food from here this passed Sunday and spent over $90 dollars only to get home and see that the food barely had any meat in any of the dishes, just an overwhelming amount of mostly vegetables. Im surprised that no one else has made this complaint yet

Ordered through UberEats: Beef Bibimbab and Thai tea and all was delicious. This place is called "Tea Diner" on UberEATS. 100% recommended if you crave a tasty and fast take out dish.

My wife and I had food poisoning at the exact same time after eating at this Thai place. This meal was the only meal we shared in the past 24 hours. We have been both miserable for the last two days. We will never eat at this restaurant ever again.

I ordered the pork gyozas and shrimp/chicken lo mein twice. The food was amazing. Kudos to the staff for the great customer service, efficient service and cleanliness.

The best Thai food around and wonderful people who run it. This place is on my speed dial. Everything on the menu is great. They deliver! Order some today if you havent tried this amazing little gem. Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, basil fried rice, you cant go wrong!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed Thai Spice. We werent sure what to expect, but after trying several dishes from shrimp Pad Thai to sweet and sour chicken, I would highly recommend this West Roxbury gem. The service was on time and nice enough for me. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Honestly the best Thai food I have ever had & I am well travelled!!! I had pad thai & the yellow curry - can only speak to these two meals, but it was delicious, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. Cant wait to be in the area and order again.

After trying nearly all menu items at Thai Spice, I would confidently recommend for take out or delivery. There is a large variety of Thai and Asian cuisine. The portions are generous for the price and always hit the spot. My personal favorite is Sriracha beef if you like spicy!🌶🔥 I also like to put a fried egg🍳 on top of most stir fries for an awesome combo. If you enjoy bubble tea like me, check out their selection - Thai (orange), Chai, Matcha (Green), Jasmine, Taro (purpleor Chocolate flavors. Finally, for dessert you should go for the mango sticky rice 🥭 Be careful with your quarantine 20 + stay safe everyone!

Absolutely fantastic place! The food is delicious and so satisfying, we have ordered several different dishes here and they have all been amazing. The staff and owner are wonderful people and very accommodating; I thoroughly enjoy my experience with them every time!

Very disappointed with order ( to goTom yum Koong soup which comes with shrimps. But surprisingly there were not a single shrimp and just mushrooms, broccoli and a grape tomato. when we called them to tell about it they are accusing that they saw shrimps while packing. So, I am a liar and I ate up all the shrimps and then called them for refund. My husband went back and returned the soup and still that girl spoke very rudely asking if we want a new soup or refund. Never ordering again from that hell! Thai spice spoiled my New Year’s Eve!!

Ok food, but if your hours of operation say you are open till 10 and you close the kitchen at 930 so your staff can leave by 10 then you are misleading your customersIf you are open until 10 serve food and take money for it till 10. If not change your hours to 930. I truly dislike this as a business practice as it is lazy and selfish

Amazing!!! I love their Thai Iced Tea it’s the best. They’re Tom Yum Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad Thai are amazing and are my favorite.

Ive been eating here for years, delivery and takeout The food is always fresh, well seasoned and is ready quickly.Tonight, I made the mistake of trying a new place that ended up being terrible, so ordered from Thai Spice to get some reliably tasty dinner.Thanks for feeding us at the end of a chaotic day! 👍🏼(Only recommendation I have for them is to offer chicken wings without a breaded coating.)

Yesterday, my son picked up an order. It was piping hot and well packaged. We had Pad Thai with duck. The duck was fantastic, flavorful and abundant. It was the first time we ever had Pad Thai with duck, rather than the more usual tofu or shrimp. We also had the chicken fingers which were outrageously delicious. It appeared that they had Corn Flakes in the coating. The chicken was juicy and not at all oily. We also had an order of the steamed shrimp shumai which were very satisfying. Additionally, we had a tofu and broccoli dish. I believe it was called Royale. My son often orders from Thai Spice and is always very satisfied.

Everything we ordered was unappetizing to say the least. The texture, taste, temperature... all of it was off...The delivery was very fast but it didn’t make up for how awful the food was as we were trying to force ourselves to eat it. Do not recommend

STELLAR SERVICE!!!! GREAT FOOD! I left super weird instructions for an order of tofu pad thai. I only halfheartedly hoped it would be done BUT the lovely manager took time out of her day to call and clarify my weird request. So not only did they accommodate all my kookiness they gave a little TLC in the form of SUPERB customer service!

Mango fried rice and Thai iced tea were amazing. Very friendly service too!

AVOID - Complacent & lazy. Why is your mango sticky rice served with hard green mango & rice that’s crispy and hard to chew? I keep getting mediocre dishes from this place. Just because you’re in West Rox doesn’t mean you het away with serving trash dishes. AVOID. Keep it up and see how long this place stays open.

Havent had a bad meal from there yet. Great bbn portion sizes as well.

Tried take-out for first time (no space really to eat in comfortably, this is more a take-out place). Very nice, friendly service. As a rule, Ive found that if I like the Tom Yum soup is good, the rest of the meal will be. Tom Yum was excellent - better than any Ive found in the area. Not watery, very flavorful with the right amount of spice for me, lots of shitake mushrooms (not crimini like other places), crisp veggies and large, firm shrimp. Moving on, the steak salad was very good in flavor though by the time I ate it (my faulta little over marinated by the dressing. Next time I will get the dressing on the side. Very good chicken broccoli dish - fresh and flavorful and the broccoli wasnt overcooked. I will definitely return.

Well, I was so happy when I read the reviews since I LOVE Thai food. I send my daughter to place an order for a shrimp Pat Thai and the shrimp soup, U1 in the manue. When I tried the soup no flavor at all, but hey I didnt mind, I had my pat thai, horrible taste, worst I have ever tried, ( or should I say no taste at allthe thrimp smelled horrible as well, but I paid almost $30 for that so I kept eating it and thinking never again. Then out of no where I am chucking on something, a hard plastic, disgusting! My daughter mentioned from the beginning that none of them uses globe, she said while she was watching the guy preparing the food he closed the window or whatever they have there so she couldnt see. Food is expensive and taste is bland and forget the hygiene. I usually like to leave good reviews or none, but this was a little to much and need people to know before they expend their money. I could have die if I swallowed that big thing, I even took a picture and a video in case they said it wasnt true. Very disappointed. I sent everything back of course, they couldnt argue when they saw the plastic, they asked if I wanted a new order, mmm of course not, I havent seen my mooney going into my account, will write another review of they dont put it back. I am going back to my favorite place for Pat Thai a Vietnamese restaurant in Brighton. Lost of food way cheaper and taste delicious. Not sure why some people are saying the food is good here, dont buy it if you know about taste.

Took 75 min to get a delivery at 3pm from 3 miles away...I had the displeasure if getting Chicken Pad Thai which had at most 3 pieces or chicken, the noodles were all around burnt flavored. Terrible service, terrible food!

Weve been ordering from here for almost a year now and love the food (especially the Pad Se Ew). We had one bad delivery experience where the delivery woman yelled at us for not being able to find our unit, but Thai Spice has since resolved the issue.

Terrible parking. Simple Thai food. I have never gone in to sit down but the take out was ok. Its worth going to Phu ket right down the street. I have gotten several dishes from both places and Phu ket is a better experience all around.

Terrible customer service!!! I asked for a side of egg noodles, which is not on the menu, but I did offer to pay for it. The clerk put me on hold to call her boss & came back and told me that the boss said no. Who says No to a sale. I cancelled my entire order place because they wouldnt sell me a side of noodles. I have no idea how the food is and now i will never know. Good luck to you !! I gave 1 star just so I could post this comment.

Food is okay. Expected my drunken noodles to be more spicy but it was pretty good. Satay was a bit too chewy but sauce tasted good. I really liked Tom Yum soup.

I really do love this place but i recommend only picking up orders. They are very fast, good size portions and the food is great.However I would have given it more stars if it werent for their delivery system. You have to order a minimum of $15, NO exceptions, not even if its .05 cents off. (Their minimum is a little more than most paces but not too bad). On top of that they also have a $2 delivery fee. This means your cheapest possible delivery order is $17, plus what ever you decide to tip.It was just annoying to pay $18 + tip when i didnt even get what I asked for. I know its petty, but I was upset because they led me to believe I had ordered one thing when in fact I had ordered something else. They led me to believe that their side of sticky rice was the same sticky rice in the mango sticky rice. It was never explained that they are, infact different. Even though I explained to her i wanted the rice from the mango sticky rice. To fill the minimum delivery I bought 2 sides of sticky rice for $4. So I was forced to buy a extra $4 of stuff because of their delivery policy. $4 that ended up not even being what i wanted because their staff mislead me. I realize this is a communication error, but its the final straw for me. Their delivery is too expensive for me to not get what I asked for.I will be back, but Ill never order delivery again.

My first time coming here with my husband and the food is AMAZING. We order the scallions pancakes n they was amazing very tasty. The pad Thai was excellent as well the chicken wings was great. Everything was soooooooooo. AMAZING

Today I ordered food at around 11:30, I call them around 12:20 to ask if it was coming soon. They said it should be here in about 10 minutes. I call back 25 minutes later, and it says "Were sorry, your call cant be completed at this time." And it repeats this about 4 time. The person finally shows up around 12:55. So It took a lot longer than usual for it to deliver. Hope it doesnt happen again

I had eat in every restaurant on the West Roxbury area and this is a good spot to eat thai food. The portions are big and the food is good. You get what you pay dont expect high en food when you are paying take out menu. The services is good and the owners are very friendly.

Very tasty and fresh! I highly recommend the Tom Kha Kai soup and fresh rolls. The soup was rich and delicious and the fresh rolls were some of the best Ive had.

The food is excessively oily. Instead of adding assorted vegitables, they load it with whatever they have in excess. when i ordered chicken pathai, it was half noodle and half onion, it was a literally all you can swallow onion. Other time, it was all carrots. At first, it looked okay, if you are a repeated customer, they cut corners. One time i ordered a appetite and two main dishes but they charged for three entree and would not refund money. There is much more decent fancy Thai restaurant in the area. I stop going here for some time and i dont miss them.

very good pad thai, and the take out dinner portion(10.25is enough to feed at least 3 people.But be aware that when they say it will be ready in 15 minutes they actually mean 30.
