Only reason I give a 2 is because of decent flavor. Another person in our party got drunken noodles with shrimp and there were only 4 shrimp in the whole dish. Ok. So shrimp may be more expensive here, but then I got same dish with chicken and only had 4 pieces of chicken! The rest was minimal cauliflower and a couple carrots. Way too skimpy for the price.

Ordered their fresh rolls, chicken wings & crispy egg rolls, yellow curry and chicken satay, green curry with tofu, chicken fried rice, coconut ice cream with sticky rice. Everything turned out really good! Came back for their delicious Thai chicken wings! 🤤 The best in town! Always friendly customer service too thank you.

I love their curry its so rich and creamy and just full of flavor. Any curry from here. But. I LOVE the chicken sautee soooo, so much too. I cant decide which I love more. The coffee is always delicious. It is strong, though it has the right amount of sweetness. None of that watery, sugary stuff. Definitely stop by here while in Fairbanks. Ok? Ok.

Went in the restaurant around 445 and was seated. Two women were having a heated discussion at the main counter. We were ready to order but they just kept arguing. I looked at them and they made eye contact but just continued to argue. We finally got up to leave and again they looked at us but made no effort to come and talk to us. Ill never go there again. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

We Love Love Love this place. The staff is a big part of what we love. Fairbanks Alaska is some of the best Thai food I have had and the Thai House Restaurant makes it so well. They really listen to what you are wanting out of your Thai dish.

Such a great date night spot with the little gift shop right across the street too. We paid about $65 for all the food in the picture plus drinks and both of us enjoyed every bite. Had a ton of left overs so if you have someone to share with you definitely can. Our server was also so sweet and made sure we had drinks to go and everything was good throughout the meal.

Amazing! Great service, food was high quality and had so much flavor. Amazing! And you get plenty for the money!

A 5 minute walk from the Fairbanks Westmark. Food was excellent. My curry was deliciously spicy, and the portions are large.

I have been to Thailand several times, and hands down this is one of the best thai food ever especially the Pad See ew.

Great staff, atmosphere, and wonderful comfort food. Definitely was not expecting to have enjoyed myself as much as i did. No complaints whatsoever.

The best Thai food in the world. We love the egg rolls, pad Thai, green curry chicken, the seafood is excellent. They are so nice, welcoming, and friendly. This is our favorite spot!

Overall, underwhelming. Tom Kha was good. Pineapple fried rice, pad see ew and pad Thai were flavorless. No better than cafeteria food. Yet, the price is a lot more than other places.

Would never go to this place again, for the following reasons.1. Food is over priced - most dishes at 19, and u can get better Thai food in anchorage, especially if ur staying for only few days in Fairbanks.2. Meat content is very very low - I hate it when restaurants do this, the meat content was like 20% of what u typically get in a Thai place.3. Waitress was super unhelpful. We wanted extremely spicy food (10and she bought us something bland. When we asked for chilli flakes, she wanted to charge extra for them. I mean who charges extra for chilli flakes.Would never ever go this place again.

Ordered the cashew chicken. Good portion size and the main was tasty, but no heat whatsoever and not a single chili visible. $30 for that and some egg rolls that lacked flavor plus an additional $2 charge for some rice leads me to think there are much better values in town if you want Thai food, but the main was good (just not as advertised).

Thai house has a lot of special memories to me and My family, and it was hard to write this review. But they deserve recognition. They have amazing customer service. My Son Ashton ❤️I lost last spring loved this place, he always ordered beef fried rice. We shared laughs and family time there. The food is amazing. So much flavor. Each dish is done with care. The deep fried calamari with sweet hot sauce it great. I ordered the Tom yum seafood spicy sweet and sour soup, it was so good. Amazing flavor spicy and broth is catered to your taste. The ladies and staff love their jobs. It is so much appreciated and I see it in their foods.

The entire staff treats us like family and takes the time to ask about my mom and our family. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is nice and the lighting is perfect with all their beautiful decor. I highly recommend this place. It was me and my best friends favorite place to eat and chat, she had passed away last year. It brought back memories.

Who would have thought the best thai food would be available near the north pole?A cute restaurant in downtown Fairbanks serves the best Thai food Ive ever tasted. We tried the Pad Pak, Green Curry Tofu, and Thai ice tea. Each of these items were carefully made and devoured zealously. The Pad Pak in particular was stunning - they pan fried the noodles and vegetables and made it spicy (upon request🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶They were fairly busy, and you could tell lot of locals go there. I highly recommend Thai House Restaurant for the most flavorful tasty thai food!

Taste good although could be better. The drunken noodles and Phad Thai is too watery. If they could be made dryer with the fragrance from the “breath of the wok” then it would taste much better. Tofu is cut into small bits and fried to crispy. Price is a little on the high side due to the $2 increase across their menu, but portion is definitely generous.

The service was great. We ordered garlic rice and fried nice (medium spice). It was perfectly done comfort food. :.. taking a star off because the garlic sauce was not enough for the amount of rice they gave. Once, we told them that , they did take the plate back and add more sauce.

Food was so flavorful and sumptuous to taste! Nice and accommodating staff bringing authentic thai cuisine to Alaska! It was so good we had to go back!

We were visiting Alaska and were craving for flavorful food and came across this awesome Thai restaurant which served great food. We ordered the Pad Thai noodles and fresh rolls for dinner and were happy with the flavorful food. The food is like many of the decent Thai places and can be dependable for good lunches or dinners with large portions.

They loose one star because they charge extra for rice. Thats like paying extra if you want crust with your pizza topping! Or if you want a bun with your burger!However, they get full 5 stars for their food. Portions were huge, and the pad thai was the best Ive tried anywhere else. The noodles were cooked perfectly, not hard or mushy, and the sauce was perfect. Curry was more spicy than i prefer, but excellent flavor. We had leftovers for another meal and a snack.

The service was great and the food was phenomenal. They got our food and drinks out sooo fast. I was impressed at not just the speed, but the flavor. Definitely a good spot to go to price wise

Best Thai food in the town no doubtlessly. We ordered pad Thai , 2 friend rice , soups and fried chicken. Everything was too good.

TWENTY YEARS later and still wonderful!! I would’ve loved to take a picture of a full order of fresh rolls but my family gobbles the food down too fast for me to do that. So this is missing one.😂The food is fresh hot and comforting. The staff works fast and tirelessly to ensure a comfortable wonderful experience. Thursday night and this place was full. Thats because Fairbanks knows great food!!!A special place for friends and family to gather❤️🤍

We are horrified by our experience when we found hairs in our curry. And when we addressed this to the server she didnt even utter a word of apology instead she said "It happens sometimes." I dislike writing negative online reviews, but this restaurant lacks customer service and their food is way overpriced ($20 for a curry without rice). It made it even worse when this horrible incident happen. I asked to speak to the owner and she cant be bothered according to the waitress. For the record we made a reservation to celebrate our 10th Year Anniversary and they gave us a tiny table next to the entrance/exit where everyone coming in and leaving are bumping into us. Whether youre visiting Fairbanks or a resident from here, avoid this place by all means. There are other Thai and Asian restaurants in the area that will treat you nicely and wouldnt put hairs in their overpriced food like this restaurant. The restroom here is unsanitary too so imagine the food your eating. I took a couple of pictures and youll see it for yourself.

Really nice vibe to the place. We were lucky to find this place open on a winter night during covid. It took a while to get our food but it was all very flavorful and palatable. The menu was also extensive with so many options.

One of the best Thai restaurants we ate at in Alaska! We had a party of 12, and our server was incredibly sweet to us through the whole experience. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. We read beforehand that other reviewers said the quantities were small, but we did not see that at all. One entree of noodles or fried rice was enough to feed 2! The staff was also very accommodating to dietary restrictions and adding/omitting ingredients in certain dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant to satisfy that nagging Thai craving!

A decent place to eat. Reasonable but not giant size servings. Even the sweet and sour sauce was too hot for me, but thats my fault, not theirs. A medium size menu. Thai food only... I put that in because many places have multiple kinds of Asian food. Everything has MSG, but they will make anything that isnt prepared ahead without it if you request it. Rice is NOT included. You pay extra for it.

Yum! I ordered the green curry, spicy, Thai Hot. Was it spicy and hot and made my eyes water? Yes. Yes it did. The flavors were great, the atmosphere was chill, the service was attentive and the decor was inspired. So hard to pick a favorite Thai restaurant in Fairbanks because the choices are top notch. This place makes their own coconut ice cream! Yum!

One of the best Thai food at Fairbanks. The staffs were so kind and friendly. The food tasted good. Kids friendly. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Food was fresh and a good portion for the price.

We had a great experience at Thai house last week! We came on a super busy night and the owner made sure to let us know that she was sorry for the wait and gave us complimentary drinks. The food was worth the wait, sooo good! We will definitely be back!

I got the sweet and sour pork while my parents got the basil chicken. My sweet and sour pork was not the best to be honest and the sauce had a little too much orange and zesty taste that was a bit overpowering. Plus the pork was a tiny bit dry. However, my parent’s basil chicken was very good and had nice flavor. The sauce and the rice in the basil chicken was a lot more mild flavor than my sweet and sour pork making it taste more balanced. The decor for the restaurant was very interesting too. It felt authentic. If you come here don’t get the sweet and sour pork get the basil chicken, that was very good.

The helpings are very generous and the food very good...BUT, the posted menu is misleading, and about 25% cheaper than actual!

I read reviews and was skeptical about delivery through grub hub. I would just like to say I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED: GREAT PORTION SIZE and TASTY (you do need to stir noodles to get the sauce on the bottom it’s not bland). Also, noodles in pad see ew were cooked nicely, not over cooked or mushy. I will definitely order from Thai House again when I’m in Fairbanks. 👍🏽Def a bit pricey but other Thai about the same price in the area *hence 2 dollar signs.(Btw, I’m from LA and this was good Thai. We have very competitive Thai restaurants in my hometown and this was just as good as those top Yelp/Google review restaurants I usually go to.)

This place was alright. I ordered pad see ew. I wanted to make it spicy but apparently the owner refuses to modify her dishes and add something else - very odd...the sauce was sweet and could have used some garlic. Noodles were kind of hard and seemed undercooked. Im not sure i will be back - next time I will stick to Nims...

This was supremely disappointing Thai food. I asked for 4 stars spicy Pad Thai, I got flavorless greasy noodles. I ordered Chicken Satay, I got over-processed strips of meat that don’t even taste or feel like real chicken. I’m seriously afraid I’ll be getting food poisoning from this meal. Wish I would have chosen one of the many other Thai restaurants nearby :(

Very tasty, service good despite being very busy. Wifes order was a little messed up but food was great. Child of one of the cooks running around restaurant was distracting. My ginger dish had almost a full root of ginger in it. This should have been removed but was very tasty.

Excellent Thai Food. I forgot where I was for a sec. The interior decor is actually really cool. The hostess was really warm, genuine and even offered food suggestions.I love how family oriented this place is. I see kids run around and grandma take care if them.My food was actually spicy for once when I asked restaurants to make my food spicy. Im just really impressed with this place.I noticed they especially catered to picky eaters, people with food sensitivities, and vegetarians.Awesome.

One of the best and Tasty Thai cuisines in Fairbanks Alaska. We ordered the Vegetarian dishes and right away the owner made all the preparation in non-fish oil cooking. The vegetables were fresh and the curry was super tasty. The owner Joy was pretty quick with our food and made right to our expectations. Reasonably priced as per all other food in Alaska. The restaurant closes at 9pm, no exceptions.

We are Traveling, came recommend by 3 local people. Pad Thai and Green Curry & Thai Tea.... Excellent and large portions. Very busy, but quick service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Low prices, okay experience. The portions are definitely a lot smaller compared to the usual sizes. The grilled pork was pleasantly marinated. Also had the Panang Curry which was good. Tom Kha with seafood was okay, but only came with 2 pieces of shrimp.

Usually I do not eat Thai, but I would definitely go back and eat there again. The restaurant is so nice and clean. The staff is kindly and the service is quick. Food delicious and you get a lot for the money you pay. 5*

I think we may have simply ordered poorly. We ordered the Gai Yang charbroiled chicken and the Pad See Ew noodles with tofu. The chicken was ok, but a little dry and the noodles were oily and the small cubes of tofu seemed thrice fried. Very few bits of broccoli in the noodles. Service was fast and friendly and the ambience is pleasant.

This was an awesome Thai place. They had such a great variety of dishes to choose from, it was actually kind of overwhelming. The food was great though, and it tasted very fresh. It also seems quite authentic. I also liked the decor of the restaurant. The service was great, and I had a pleasant time.
