Thai Garden - Thai restaurant in Woonsocket, United States
went to just go pick up a side of sticky rice today for my girlfriend and upon entering i saw a baby roach crawling around on the check out counter. now can you imagine how it is in the back with all the food being made. absolutely disgusting. i tried to get a photo of the baby roach but my phone was in the car and by the time i ran to get it and came back in the roach was gone.
Great local Thai spot, if you have not tried the Thai sausage you should. Just remember this food has heat🔥🔥so if you have a delicate palate make sure you mentioned it before ordering...
Couldnt say enough how much I love this place.Very authentic delicious Thai food!
Delicious fresh food with lots of flavors. The portion could be better based on the price of the food.
Food has always been excellent but its no longer dine in. Its take out only.
Delicious food! I ate here for the first time and was not disappointed. Friendly staff.
One of my favorite places around, been going there for years and had my first date with my soulmate there. Erica is amazing when they had dine in she was the best server ever
Do yourself a favor and try the food before drawing conclusions. When you first walk in, youll probably want to walk straight back out. The inside appearance doesnt do it justice. Ive eaten many Thai dishes and this has been the most authentic Thai flavor Ive had in years. Phenomenal. Cant wait to eat there again. But you might want to take it to go...
My familys favorite Thai restaurant. We pick up takeout at least once a week and often try new dishes. We are never disappointed. The owners/staff are friendly and its nice to be a "regular" somewhere you feel seen.
So I accidentally ordered a whole fish (Pla Jien, picturedbut it was delicious so its all good! Chicken Satay, Shrimp Spring Rolls, and Squid Disco were all tasty appetizers, and the Beef Pad Thai was delicious as well. Theyre doing take out only for now, and I will definitely be back!
Absolutely DELICIOUS! I drive half an hour to get this food, it is sooo good. Portions are great& you can tell all the food is made with love. Definitely worth checking out
My spicy noodle and pad Thai is way better and im american !!! THATS SAD ___pricey
Great food, wonderful staff. Higher than average price but completely worth it. The satay and house rice are my favorite.
Excellent curries and noodle dishes. Try the Thai Sausage—it’s fatty and spicy and delicious. Hot basil fried rice is always great as well.
Excellent place to eat and delicious foods 👍👍👍👍
My favorite place to get food. Drive all the way from Pawtucket just to get this place. Have never been disappointed in all the times IV gone. I hope they never close down!
My favorite Thai food restaurant. My go-to takeout. I have never had a meal from Thai Garden that I didn’t enjoy wholeheartedly. The staff is friendly and polite. I can’t count the amount of times we’ve ordered and they’ve never once gotten an order wrong. Thanks Thai Garden!
Foods really good. They give you everything you need for your pho. Their spring rolls are good as well .
Freshest Thai food around. Great portions and worth the few extra bucks per item. Honestly they could charge more and Id gladly pay it. No, I am not an employee, lol. Im just saying its delicious!!
The best Thai Ive had since moving to Rhode Island. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Ill be making the drive from North Providence to get it because it was just that good.
Best Thai food I ever had . Ive traveled to many States and no other thai restaurant can touch Thai garden food. Could not wait to return to Woonsocket RI to have Thai food. When my daughter comes home to visit, its the first meal she has to have .
Uggghhh their pad Thai! Amazing! Also the crispy chicken wings....sooooooo good! We also love their iced Thai teas with booba! Mmmm....so good! We go here atlease once a month. Usually more! They give generous portions too!
Tried Thai Garden for the first time today. What an AMAZING choice. Absolutely delicious and flavorful authentic Thai Cuisine. The Thai Style Pho is exquisite. Their beef skewers are savory and tender down to the last bite. Crab Rangoons were phenomenal and sweet. The spicy Thai basil with chicken was out of this world and full of spice. During this difficult time I’m glad I was able to support such an amazing locally owned restaurant. If you haven’t tried Thai Garden and you read this review: now is the time.
Love this place because you can tell that the broth has a lot of love put into the pho (noodle soupeverything else is really good too!
The first time there got there placed was packed. Waited for a table, which was awkward since the place is so small. Once seated got the menu for myself, my husband chose to get the buffet. He went up to get a plate, then a second plate. I still hadnt be asked what I was ordering. By now were 30 minutes in the restaurant. I finally place my order seafood Pho. She walked off again before we could order drinks. Waited another 20 minutes for my Pho. By this time my husband was done eating. He sat there and waited for me to finish eating. I drinks did arrive at the end. So much for a lunch date lol. The seafood pho was outstanding. The buffet was tiny but pretty good he stated. Normal items white rice with veggies, egg rolls, chicken wings, mixed veggies with beef, e.t.c. Total bill for everything $26.46 with tip. My bowl of Pho was $11 but I swear so freaking GOOD!!
Awesome little place have been here a few times with my hubby and we love it the food is fantastic, always fresh and the service is excellent can’t wait to go back soon!! 100% recommended.
I had the Pho & Spring Rolls which were the best Ive ever had! The staff are so friendly also and the prices are fantastic! Do yourself a favor & dine here soon!
Pad Thai was great, I also got Tom yum extra spicy. Very spicy and very tasty. Definitely my new go to for Thai
Nice hide away place. Pho is definitely lao style. Laab is good...chef can make it bitter or sour...the way you like it. Sticky rice is like home made. Definitely better than other thai/lao restaurants around.
Best Pad Thai Ive ever had, the prices are really great too. I havent tried the lunch buffet, but I definitely plan to!
Came in with a large group unexpectedly, they handled us perfectly and the good was some of the best thai Ive ever had. From Texas visiting and this is better than anything from home!
Delicious, its a nice little place. I wish I knew more about thaifood because id like to try more entrees.i love the spicy chicken or i think its chicken spicy. Its very spicy with succulent vegetables in a spicy red sauce and I love their sticky to rice with peanut sauce.
Best authentic food served here, must try if you havent. Dont let its looks deter you, this is where the local Asians come for food, this says it all.
We went with take out on our two dining experiences because we had a number of people and the dining room is small. Loved everything. The spring rolls were absolutely delicious. I could eat them every day. The hot sausage should come in 2 sizes as no matter how much we get it always goes fast. I was not prepared for the heat in the papaya salad but enjoyed every bite as tears streamed down my face. The vegetables in the dishes are perfectly cooked, still crunchy but not almost raw. Cant wait to try more!
Thai Garden in Woonsocket is a Hidden Gem!! The food is out of this world amazing, flavor is on point each order. Staff is beyond friendly. Must try! Dont pass it up, they surpass a lot of restaurants in the area!! Thank you for being amazing 😊😊
Great place, amazing food, and good prices. The service was excellent my waitress was very niceIts got that homey feel almost like Im eating in someones house, I Would definitely revisit.
My favorite local thai restaurantFood is delicious and mostly consistentPrices are very reasonableThere have been a couple times the pad thai noodles were hard and not fully cooked due to busy timesI have always taken out never dined in so cant comment for that although it looks to be clean and cozy atmosphere
Really good! This is my second time here, almost across the street from Stadium Theater, where we had tickets to a show. So very convenient if you are seeing a show across the street! My friend cant eat peppers and mushrooms, and we asked if they could do the Hot Basil dish with other vegetables. So they did, and it was delicious! Happy that they were so accommodating. Very reasonable "house" glasses of wine, too, at $4. Good fresh spring rolls as well. I will be coming back, whether I have tickets to something or not!
If you have not given this place a try then you should because you are missing out. Their food is authentic and very homemade. If you enjoy thai food or have not really gotten a chance to try it...do it. Crab ragoons spring rolls and their noodles are amazing!
Best Thai around in my opinion. A little better than Vohns with better prices, and on a different level than Lotus. Also, the service is always super pleasant.
I was very excited to try this place given all of the positive reviews but I am disappointed...I ordered spicy veggie noodles and was very disappointed with the flavor. It was, in my opinion inedible. It tasted burnt and overcooked. I was told it is supposed to taste that way and was offered no fix. I asked if I could bring it back and have her look at it as it visually looked burnt, again was told it supposed to be that way. The woman I dealt with was pleasant but not enough to make up for the short coming in service and food.
Amazing traditional Thai food. Must eat. Everything is Perfecto and very decrotive at nice Prices. THE ONLY Thai restaurant in the area Id recommend. ♥️♥️♥️
A secret hideaway known by those who know and appreciate the authentic SE Asian food. Food delicious beyond compare. The atmosphere is tastefully intimate and comfortable. The service is friendly. The price wont break your budget.
Best place for AUTHENTIC Thai and Laos dishes. Hole in the wall place but the atmosphere is wonderful and homey. One of the best kowpiek around. Love their chicken and beef larb.
I went their for Monday lunch. The restaurant is small in size but has neat interior. I ordered spicy chicken curry from the lunch special, which came with white rice on the side. It tasted very nice, spicy but very well-balanced. I also had the spring rolls and they were good but not extraordinary. The menu is moderately priced if you compare to other Thai food restaurants. Overall, a positive experience for me. I would definitely come to this place again with friends and family.
I have been there on many occasions and it seems the up keep has slid down. It made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. I only ordered and appetizer this time as I was Leary about eating. I dont think I will go back . However the waitress was polite.
This is one of the best Thai food I ever had. We are frequent to this place. The fried rice is little juicy or flavorful here compared to other places. Rates are also nominal and good quality of the food. Only problem is that they close kitchen at 8:30 pm itself though they are open till 9/9:30
The food here is great, and good service too. Just beer and wine, so come for reasonably priced food and not drinks. Atmosphere is just ok, and it can be challenging to get a parking spot on a weekend even though they have their own small lot. Other businesses seem to use the parking even though it is posted for Thai Garden only.
Everything Ive had here was delicious and fresh. Easily the best Thai food youll find in Rhode Island.
Great food, I love all the authentic Thai/ Laos dishes to choose from. The food is very flavorful and colorful. A little tight during peak dining hours but its worth the wait.
