We had an amazing dinner,and extremely friendly staff.The food was amazing and of all the Thai food restaurants we went was this definitely the best Thai food we ever had , The taste is real original Thai food what we already expect.We hope to come back soon when we visite Heraklion again!

Spring rolls with veggies, fried rice with egg, chicken wings with black and white sesame... Superb!!

Πρώτη φορά πήγα σήμερα, κι έμεινα πολύ ευχαριστημένη σε όλα. Φαγητό, καθαριότητα εξυπηρέτηση. Πολύ ωραίο τηγανιτό ρύζι με καβούρι και λαχανικά. Nice place, lovely food, clean and friendly.

Πρώτη φορά παραγγείλαμε από το κατάστημα καθώς μας το πρότεινε ένας φίλος , το φαγητό στην ώρα του , ευγενέστατος ντελιβεράς , μεγάλες μερίδες , καλές τιμές και το φαγητό πάνω από όλα ήταν ΖΕΣΤΟ ΚΑΙ ΠΕΝΤΑΝΟΣΤΙΜΟ!!! Συνεχίστε την πολύ καλή δουλειά που κάνετε μπράβο σας!!!

Το φαγητό του είναι υπέροχο με καλής ποιότητας υλικά και σε λογικές τιμές!

We were very excited to try after reading the good reviews. However, the food was very disappointing. I ordered the classic Thai soup dish Tom Yum (with noodles), but what they served was basically just cooked instant noodles with some veggies and chicken. I don’t think it’s acceptable for a restaurant to serve customers instant noodles as a restaurant dish without indication. My boyfriend had Thai fried noodles but the dish was flavorless and not Thai-styled at all. Overall, very disappointing for Thai food lovers like us.

Delicious food, big portions, in a wonderful very clean and friendly environment. I trust it and I recommend it.

I had dinner here.The food was not the greatest.I was expecting a bit more authentic taste and more flavours.the service was ok and the staff was nice and polite.i think the place is more suitable for takeaway than dine in.

Although I have not been to the restaurant itself, I have ordered their food several times. Each time, the food was full of flavor, very fresh, nicely presented and delivered on time. I have eaten around the world and would consider myself as someone who knows a thing or two about food. Therefore, I was very surprised to read through the few (mainly Greeknegative reviews. No restaurant deserves a bad rating because customers are unfamiliar with foreign cuisines or flavors. It would be like giving a bad review to a Greek restaurant anywhere in the world because I dont like Pastitsio. Lets also not forget that Heraklion is not Athens and certain ingredients are still not available (i.e. fresh Thai basil or kantakari,). If there would be anything I would suggest to Sawadee, it would be to have (some of theirsoups include galanga ;)I can wholeheartedly recommend Sawadee and wish them all the best for the future!P.S.: This review made me hungry and I will probably order from them tonight...

Wirklich tolles Restaurant! Portionen waren sehr groß und dafür ziemlich günstig, netter Service und zum Nachtisch gab es Eis, Kuchen und Schnaps aufs Haus. Sehr zu empfehlen!!Auch für Veganer*innen ist etwas dabei, in der Karte nicht so gut ersichtlich, aber einfach nachfragen:)

Άψογο φαγητό και νόστιμο. Πήραμε μερίδες take-away για το σπίτι. Στο σπίτι ήταν σαν να βγήκαν εκείνη τη στιγμή, τόσο ζεστά. Όσο περιμέναμε να ετοιμαστούν οι μερίδες, μας φίλεψαν δροσιστικό ρόφημα. Τους ευχαριστούμε για την περιποίηση.

Great prices great service and great food

Excellent food from an authentic Thai cook! I saw the restaurant and stopped to ask for information. I ended up sitting and testing a couple of Dishes. They were very tasty and of sufficient quantity. Staff were very helpful and polite! I am surprised that we have such a nice Thai restaurant in Heraklion! Congratulations! This is a highly recommended restaurant!

Το εστιατόριο σε μεταφέρει απευθείας στην Ταϊλάνδη. Οι γεύσεις ειναι απίστευτες το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικό και πολύ φιλικο, τα πιάτα πολύ προσεγμένα και γευστικα. Σίγουρα θα το πρότεινα ακόμη και στους πιο απαιτητικούς. Αξίζει όταν βρεθει κάνεις στο Ηράκλειο να το επισκεφτεί για να γευτεί γνήσια ταϊλανδέζικη κουζίνα.

Good food foreigners, friendly staff.

The food was quite delicious with huge portions. The service was very prompt and helpful when choosing what to eat. Loved the decorations and the chill music. If you like spicy food, just ask the server and they will make it as spicy as you would like it to be. Overall a cool spot to eat at.

Σικάτο μαγαζί! Περιβάλλον, μουσική, εξυπηρέτηση, κόσμος εκπληκτικά όλα! Το μενού τόσο όσο πρέπει, ώστε να είναι φρέσκο και νόστιμο. Αυτό το εκτιμήσαμε πολύ, ότι δεν είχε ατελείωτη ποικιλία και να αναγκάζονται να μας σερβίρουν ετοιματζίδικα. Πολύ καθαρό, οργανωμένο εστιατόριο και το μπάνιο ιδιαίτερα κομψό. Το δουλεύουν νέα παιδιά με όρεξη και υπομονή.

Μέτριο φαγητό. Τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο. Καλή εξυπηρέτηση. Πήγαμε για βραδινό με την σύζυγό μου και δεν ενθουσιαστηκαμε. Ο χώρος ήταν περιποιημένος με καλή διακόσμηση και απαλή μουσική. Η σερβιτόρα που μας υποδέχτηκε ήταν πολύ ευγενική και μας εξυπηρετήσε άμεσα. Μας έφεραν για welcome σούπα σε γυάλινο ποτήρι εσπρέσσο, το οποίο γευστικά μας αποθάρρυνε από να την παραγγείλουμε. Για αρχή πήραμε τηγανισμένο ψωμί, το οποίο ήταν αρκετά καλό και γεμιστή ομελέτα που δεν ήταν κάτι το ιδιαίτερο. Η σαλάτα με νουντλς ήταν ευχάριστη αλλά το κοτόπουλο που είχε μέσα ήταν κακοτηγανισμένο (όχι ώμο, αλλά σαν βρασμένο). Τα κυρίως ήταν η μεγαλύτερη απογοήτευση. Το πιάτο με το μοσχάρι ήταν αρκετά σκληρό και οι γεύσεις από την σάλτσα δεν έδεναν μεταξύ τους. Τα παναρισμένα μπουτάκια κοτόπουλου ήταν απλά παναρισμένα μπουτάκια κοτόπουλου, τίποτα παραπάνω. Κλείνοντας με το φαγητό, το ρύζι ατμού ήταν απαράδεκτο. Οι τιμές ήταν σχετικά καλές όπως και οι μερίδες. Για όλα τα παραπάνω και δύο μπύρες δώσαμε 36€ περίπου και δεν σκάσαμε αλλά φύγαμε ικανοποιημένοι. Θεωρώ ότι το συγκεκριμένο εστιατόριο θα μπορούσε να ξεχωρίσει για την μοναδικότητα της κουζίνας του στο Ηράκλειο και να μην είναι ένα "κινέζικο" σαν όλα τα άλλα. Όπως σε όλα τα εστιατόρια θα ξαναδώσω ευκαιρία αργότερα καθώς είναι ο πρώτος καιρός που έχει ανοίξει και ελπίζω να έχει αποκτήσει ταυτότητα.

I was really surprised to see such high quality Thai food in Heraklion. It is very authentic, which makes sense since the owner is Thai (she came to our table to introduce herself and see how the meal was). The atmosphere feels like a 5 star restaurant, but the prices are surprisingly low. My wife and I have been multiple times and we plan to go back.Δέη πίστεψα ότι μπορούσα να βρω τόσο καλό ασιατικό φαγητό στο Ηράκλειο. Είναι πολύ αυθεντικό και είναι λογικό γιατί η ιδιοκτήτρια είναι από την Ταϊλάνδη. Η ατμόσφαιρα φαίνεται ότι είναι 5 αστέρια αλλά είναι πολύ φτηνό. Ή γυναίκα μου και εγώ έχουμε πάει μερικές φορές και θα γυρίσουμε συχνά..
