Thai-Express in Wiesbaden

Sonntag ist bei uns Asia-Tag so ist es Tradition Sonntag Abend gemeinsam einen Asia-Restaurant zu besuchen und so war es als Wiesbadener nicht so unwahrscheinlich dass man auch mal hier landet. Also vorab kann man schon mal sagen, das ihr kein Sterne-Essen zu erwarten habt. Es geht hier wie der Name schon sagt um schnelles Thai Essen. Die Gerichte welche sich auch in vielen anderen Asia-Fast-Food Läden wiederfinden haben jetzt keine großartige Besonderheit. Aber genau das sorgt schließlich auch für einen günstigeren Preis.Nicht mehr und nicht weniger war uns bei der Wahl des Lokals wichtig. Ob beim Bummeln in der Stadt oder wie wir am Asia-Sonntag, habe ich in den letzten Jahren nie etwas schlechtes gehabt oder war großartig unzufrieden. Von daher sollte man schon mal reinschauen, wenn man einfach Standard-Asia Food möchte :)

Besonders das mittagsmenü war sehr empfehlenswert. Leckeres und preiswertes essen

Ich bitte euch den Name zuwechsel ihr Beleidig den Tradition" kulinarische Thai Küche" Essen war nicht mal annähernd Thaiküche, Fertige Suppen tütte mit Fisch, ESSEN Schwimm in der Soßen , Pad Thai schmeckt Nudel mit Sojasoße! Koch war nicht mal ein Thai ! Hääää und überteuert.

Wir haben drei Speisen bestellt. Wir haben dreimal das falsche Essen bekommen. In der zweiten Runde war eins wieder falsch. Stellt doch gerne Kellner/Kassierer ein die zuhören bitte.

Vom Geschmack her durchschnittlich. Leider war ein Teil des Gemüse sichtbar verdorben - unnötig und ein No Go.

Wenn ich könnte würde ich nichtmal ein Stern geben !Lecker sieht anders aus ,das Essen hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, ich kann nicht verstehen wie das überhaupt als Gericht Angeboten wird !Ich bin sprachlos!Nudeln zu durch ,das Fleisch nicht lecker ...Was hat Minze in dem Essen zu suchen?abgesehen davon habe ich mir eine Fanta bestellt ,da war was drinne, und es hat abgestanden geschmeckt definitiv werde ich dort nicht mehr essen gehen und für das Geld war es definitiv zu schade.Ich kann nicht verstehen wie man dazu Essen/Gericht sagen kann,das ist eine beleidigung gegen über richtigem Thailändischen Spezialitäten.

Showed up 35 minutes before 23.00, walked up to the counter, they saud they were closed.

Wenn man draußen sitzt, muss man sich die Getränke drinnen selbst holen und sofort bar bezahlen. Wohl aus einem guten Grund. Die Cocktails waren so schlimm, daß wir nur wenige Schlucke nehmen konnten. Totaler Fail und knapp 27,- Euro verloren. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Unterirdisch... Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Cocktail trinken im Außenbereich. Da sonst bei keiner anderen Bar/Restaurant freie Plätze vorhanden waren. Zugegeben es war schon ca.23 Uhr, aber wenn man um diese Uhrzeit noch Kundschaft annimmt, darf der Service nicht so schlecht sein. Die Cocktails, welche nicht gerade zum Sparpreis angeboten werden (17€ für 2Stk.Wurden per Augenmaß gemischt. Es wurden falsche Zutaten benutzt (Vodka statt Rum), Zutaten komplett vergessen (Basilikumoder weglassen. Geschüttelt wurden die Cocktails ca. 2-3 Sekunden. Ergebnis.. lange nicht mehr so einen schlechten Drink "genossen". Im Anschluss wurden wir nach ca. einer halben Stunde "verscheucht". Einer Freundin wurde quasi das halbe Bier aus der Hand genommen und gesagt, "wir machen jetzt zu". Ihr wurden dann noch 2 Minuten gewährt. Die Aschenbecher wurden schon früher abgeräumt, da sie gespült werden mussten. Wir sollten ersatzweise in unsere ausgedrunkenen Gläser aschen. Es war ein unterhaltsamer, aber kein schöner Besuch. Leider habe ich bei der Bestellung am Tresen schon ein Trinkgeld gegeben. Davon rate ich jedem ab.

Great food, I always have the Udon noodles with shrimp. Better in the Summer when you can sit outside and make down some beers on the walking zone.

Insgesamt eine schöne Atmosphäre, drinnen wie auch draußen, das Essen ist gut, das Personal ist flott. Einziger Nachteil aus meiner Sicht, es muss drinnen bestellt werden und bezahlt werden, das Essen wird dann raus gebracht. Also der übliche Service am Tisch fehlt, dafür ist das Essen sehr gut und schmackhaft und daher auch insbesondere des günstigen Preises zu empfehlen. Der Name Thai Express macht hier Karriere, nach etwa 4 Minuten hatte ich mein Essen.

Perfect

As with all my experience with ethnic food in Germany, this one too has lost its spice origins. Seems like everywhere Ive gone in this country you cant get any real seasoning on food to its authentic flavoring, this was the case here as well. I do understand that they try to tone it down to appease the German taste buds, but the spices were completely turned off.Either way, the food presented well and visually it was nice. There was a nice variety and the service was pleasant.

Red curry needed a little more spicy but was very delicious

Food was fantastic had massaman beef curry.Service was ok and prices we’re good for meal portions.This is a nice, neat well presented restaurant.

We like this Thai-Express. Meal ist super and hand made limo too. Personal ist very young they can be more flexible. We visited one time per a year this place and we are ever satisfy.

Very delicious food the coconut source with Krispy duck was so delicious , however the rice potion is too too little that comes with it,the price is fine, you order with cash and wait to be served .

Sehr lecker und günstig, originelle Hauptgerichte (u.a. Thai Burger mit gedämpften Buns), Vorspeisen und Salate, Mittags- und Abendsmenü, gute Cocktails. Schade dass ich nicht in Wiesbaden wohne, ihr würdet mich jede Woche mindestens einmal sehen ;)

Große Auswahl an leckerem Thai-Klassikern zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Im Vergleich zu anderen Thais in Wiesbaden wesentlich günstiger, aber er steht Ihnen im nichts nach. (Die Auswahl der Gerichte ist woanders ggf etwas größer).Die Renovierung war erfolgreich und nun herrscht hier eine einladende Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung ist freundlich.

Das Essen ist top!Leider muss man zum bestellen immer an die Kasse gehen und direkt zahlen. Das ist etwas unentspannt, gehört aber wohl zum Franchise dazu.

The food was delicious here, great service, awesome to see they had english menus as most places dont.The place was super cozy and beautiful.

If you know that you have to order at the bar you can only say that the food has great value for money and portions are enormous!Order a Thai beef carpaccio and pad Thai with shrimps and a large beer for 23 eur and had a real hard time to finish as the plates are 2 to 3 times bigger in Thailand. My favorite here was the Thai beef carpaccio, very tasty and great starter to share as it is big. I can only recommend this place if you have little time and want to quickly fuel up!

Very tasty (litchi lemonade was superb!), very quick, very stylish and comfy atmosphere. All this in Wiesbaden branch, havent been in Mainz and Frankfurt ones.

OMG!!! Fabulous! Fabulous! fabulous! I have eaten in Thailand. I have taken cooking classes in Thailand... this is some of the best Thai food Ive ever had. I ordered #76. Rice noodles with curry sauce and shrimp. Loaded with vegetables. Ridiculously inexpensive. Not even 10 euro. I had to restrain myself from licking the bowl. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture...

Great food (I recommend the duck), great portions, great prices, great soft drinks, and they even have great to go boxes - sealed aluminium containers that wont spill your sauce.Very under-rated restaurant. Remember that you order at the counter and choose your table!

Casual bar atmosphere where you order food at the counter and find an available table. Excellent food, big menu, and inexpensive. Service was quick.

Warum 3 Sterne? Das Essen war ok, schnell an den Tisch gebracht und seh heiss.Leider entsprach es nicht dem Angebot. Damit die Portion grösser wurde kamen noch viele Champions, Bambus Streifen, Grüne Bohnen und Paprika dazu. Zusammen gut 1/3 der Zutaten. Von den versprochenen Mangostreifen war nichts zu finden. Die Soße hatte aber ein kräftiges Mangoaroma. War also gut, aber halt nicht was bestellt wurde. Die frittierten Wan Tan kamen wohl aus dem Tiefkühl. Die Soße dazu war traurig.Fazit: Man kann dort Essen aber es gibt deutlich bessere Angebote in Wiesbaden.Was richtig stört ist das Ambiente und das man Selbstbedienung und Vorkasse hat. Damit müsste man wenn Essen nicht zufriedenstellend noch mit dem Personal diskutieren - was sicher keiner macht.Zahlung: Bar. Sie nehmen auch Sodexo Gutscheine aber keine von Edenred.Suspekt: Rechnung hat keine Umsatzsteuer Nummer.

The food was quite ok, yet nothing very special about and the food was served very fast and we didnt have to wait long at all after ordering, which was great. The biggest disappointment was the waitress who served us. She had no smile in her face towards us (although we saw her chatting and laughing at the counterand she was very impolite. We ordered a green tea and she bumped it on the table and the tea was ordered by me, and she didnt even look at my face when I thanked her, instead looked at my husband. Also the food was served at the same way, and not looking at my face and I saw she was frowning at me many times, like that she hates me and all the women. Throughout our meal the whole gesture from her was very unpleasant and very primitive I would say. If she has a problem of serving or a problem with other women then I think this is not the job for her and this should not effect the customers at all. Although we realized that she has personal issues, that totally disturbed us as we never had this situation before. I think she should work with her over pride and the jealousy in order to succeed in this job.

Great quick food

Every time you order you must take all your thinks from the table and go inside the building make the order and pay, its like jimming this place, I want to eat not make muscle

More of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. Cant really explain it till you sit down and experience it.Food was surprisingly good. We went back for more fried rice with chicken when our kids were tired of eating snitzel and pizza.

Sat in their outdoor seating for 15 minutes and nobody even came out to take our order. Cant comment on the food or drinks because we never got any. Another table had already eaten and were trying to find someone to pay the whole time we were hoping to put in our order. They were still searching when we left. Not impressed.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Angenehme Schärfe und bissfestes Gemüse mit einer sehr geschmackvollen Soße. Reichlich ist es auch und dafür preiswert. Man kann hier angenehm draussen sitzen. Das Essen muss man an der Theke bestellen. Es ist eine Riesenauswahl.

Great place for a fresh Thai meal. Very informal and great outdoor seating area when the temperature permits. Great house made lemonade.

It is a good place to stop and grab something to eat not the best Thai spot but it works.
