Poor quality vegetables, curry sauce and seasoning. I ordered the red curry #4 heat level and chicken fried rice #3 heat level. No thai basil or basic seasonings. Yellow onions and green onions only in the fried rice with black pepper as seasoning, 30.00 and the meal wasnt salvageable. Thai Basil #2 in Riverton WY is much better.

I tried to go here 3 days in a row. The first day they offered take out only due to low staff and the wait was 1 hour+, the second day they were out of rice, and the 3rd day the way wait was more than 1 hour and he wouldnt let us wait inside. We gave it a 4th shot. The man at the front desk could really use some better customer service. The whole time he acted like he didnt have time for us and he was doing us a favor. The prices have changed under new ownership. For two people for dinner youre looking at $30+, which is very high for Thai food. Especially in a small town. The food was good, but the customer service is so poor I have a hard time wanting to go back.

They were very pleasant and cordial throughout my visit, along with serving decent proportions but i was not impressed with the house fried rice as it is not the flavor youd typically expect from that specific menu item.

Place needs some improvements. Does not serve alcohol. Anyway it’s a best asian food in the area. Curry was delicious.

Had take out this evening. Food was all bland, no flavor, chicken dry. Mango sticky rice also dry, if that is even possible. Ordered based on prior good reviews but hadnt sorted to show newest first which indicates a dive in quality since being taken over.

It used to be a wonderful place to eat but the original owners sold and the quality of the food has taken a dive. I ordered takeout and had my usual meal. The Crispy Avocado was greasy and the avocado brown. The spicy eggplant was lacking flavor and the eggplant was mushy. Won’t be ordering from them again.

While the food was not bad, the overall dining experience was not great. The good is that the service was attentive and the food was prepared in a fairly timely manner. Our meals tasted fine and the portion sizes were decent. However, the restaurant atmosphere and decor is lacking. The restaurant is connected to a gas station. In the future I would probably avoid dining in and just do takeout if Im craving Thai food.

You got to be kidding me. $32 for two lunch specials and a mango sticky rice. The fried rice was under cooked and had the consistency of paste and the mango was severely bruised. Not to mention they were extremely rude on the phone. With the new owners running it we wont be back.... it used to be good.

Under New Management: The new owner has decreased portion sizes and quality and increased the price. I will not be going back to this location until these issues are resolved. It is no longer worth the 5 minute trip to get there. Fortunately, the restaurant in Riverton is still owned by the original owner of this and they have double the portion sizes, higher quality ingredients and at a lower cost. Do you self a favor and GO to Thai Chef 2 in Riverton, its worth the drive.

Tonight on a whim I decided to try this place out. Immediately had an awesome call in service and my food was ready in fifteen minutes. I walked in and was met with incredible customer service and I left with my food happier than when I came in. I tried the pineapple fried rice and loved it! I even have enough for my lunch tomorrow. Awesome place with awesome food!

Very small portions, that they think is fine because its such a small town. Not worth the price for such tiny portions. Usually there is little no meat in each dish. Which is usually not what you ordered. You leave hungry. Not impressed. I recommend going to the China garden instead. Or chopsticks in riverton

We had take out on Thur night. We ordered egg rolls, lettuce wraps, and chicken massamen. It was all delicious. We asked for spicy, but was not very spicy for us. We like almost thai spicy! I should have asked for some sambel to spice it up. Next time!

Really good Thai food. I had a nicely spicy chicken dish, and my wife had superb Pad Thai chicken. Good service.

Great quality and tasty food, especially for a town the size of Lander! I continue to be pleasantly surprised every time I go. Have had a variety of things off the menu and never disappointed. Slightly pricier than you might expect because its the middle of Wyoming, duh.

Excellent food. The Nua Ka Ting is great and the steamed dumplings were fantastic.

Dont let the location fool you, the food is fantastic! Ive been trying to get something new from now on because I almost always get the green curry, and nothing on the menu has ever disappointed me. The green curry from Thai Chef is 100% my favorite thing to eat at all. I also recommend getting a delicious Thai iced tea. The restaurant is clean, service is always prompt. I love this place.

Thai Chef is one of the best restaurants in Lander. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are extremely friendly. There is a large variety of different Thai food to choose from such as Spicy Catfish, Panang Curry Salmon, and Thai Silk Salad. All the dishes are excellently priced and I found that a dinner for two costs about $40 with an appetizer (about $30 without an appetizer). I am very pleased with this restaurant and I highly recommend it

Friendly waitstaff, good food, steady stream of customers. I ordered bowl of egg flower soup and ginger chicken. When soup came out I was very surprised at large serving! I asked them to box up my entree...no way could I eat it all. And trust me, I dont usually say that! I would eat here again.

Im willing to say this is the best Thai food in Fremont county. Welcoming environment, great curry specialties, and never a wait for a table. Absolutely would recommend this place to travelers and locals as a quick and tasty option and alternative to fast food. One of the best restaurants in lander.

Great food. This place makes really authentic Thai food - surprising for a place in a small town in Wyoming. The dishes have the herbs and spices youd expect, as well as a great assortment of vegetables. Cooked to perfection. Only thing is - its pretty expensive. Maybe its the expense of getting the ingredients?

First time here and it was wonderful. Tom Ka soup was served nice and hot with wonderful flavor, loved it. Pad Thai was yummy, pumpkin curry was spiced well. Great service and they deliver. Try it, you wont be disappointed.
