Nice food, tasty, although as can be expected some dishes are not the true Thai taste. Clean and easy to get a seat.

Went there for my friends 70th Birthday, the food was delicious and large meals..will definitely go again..

The Good: Food is consistently quite good. Weve been going back there for a number of years for easy takeaway, work dinners and so on.The Bad: They dont value their customers. Youre a source of income and nothing more. Our experience tonight was terrible. I ordered online with plenty of time, prepaid and chose a 6:15pm pick-up. I arrived about 6:20pm with my 3 year old daughter for collection only to be met with confusion. After much searching they found my order and was told it would be a little while and to take a seat. I questioned further and found that theyd completely forgotten to cook the meals and the wait would be another half hour... with a hungry 3 year old. I was polite and reasonable, added a kids fish and chips to the order thinking it would be something easy for my daughter to eat in the car on the drive home and ended up walking around Hagley Park in the cold and dark to keep my daughter entertained. I returned half an hour later and the order was ready. They then unapologetically presented me with a $7.50 bill for the additional kids fish and chips. I suggested perhaps they could comp that bit given Id already paid over $50 and theyd forgotten my order, but was told no that wasnt possible and was offered a softdrink. I asked to speak to the manager, the host disappeared for a few minutes and returned with a firm no once again. Im not unreasonable, so paid and asked to still speak with the manager thinking I could at least discuss the disappointing situation, but was told he was very busy and there was no way I could speak with him.Like I said, they dont value their customers. They had my money and that was enough for them. I wont be returning.

Food was good service was nastyUnfortunately they were watching their watches the moment we walked in the restaurant ...their closeing time for lunch is 2.30pm. We came at 1.30pmWait staff was rude and unwelcoming.Food deserves star thats why 2 star review..but the service is sub standard.Have written this review while having lunch as it was so disappointing.

Horrible slow service, we had a booking for 6.30pm and we didn’t get our meals to 8.30pm. Not once did they take a drinks order either. Then they had the cheek to kick us our as soon as we finished as they were closing. Food is also very over priced for only average Thai.

The best Thai cuisine prepared by trained chefs.The menu is authentic and so are the ingredients.Best place to take your family for a nice lunch or dinner. Loved the ambience and the nice service.

We are asians that travel to Thailand often and we think that food here is alright.The chicken Phad Thai ($23.50portion was huge and tasty, so thankfully we ordered only entremet size for the Tom yum soup ($18.50).Both dishes were a little too sweet even when compared to what we had in Thailand, but we noticed that some of the staffs are Thai so I think they know what they are doing. Probably the locals here prefer something sweet to spicy.

It has a best fried rice in Christchurch.10 ⭐️ for the amazing staff💪👍👍

Food was good but ok at same and the guy Taking orders was too extra was so bad and 30min to get wine Glasses for BYO( I had to go ask at the bar to get them and got them in 5min wood not go back tho

As a lover of Thai food I think this place does a really good job. Their menu has all of the classics plus some interesting and creative dishes for when you want to try something new.

Not impressed with the service at all. They charged us an illegitimate $200 fine for a can that was left by a member of our group Fair enough for there to be consequences but hes the way they went about it. They wouldnt let us leave the restaurant or pay for our meal, they swore at us, they didnt consult us prior to coming about this policy they supposedly had and it wasnt displayed anywhere inside or outside the venue. I was astonished at how unprofessional they were and how unwilling they were to talk about it.Would never go back for that even though the food was good.

Good portioned food. Lack of clarity with the BYO policy. Ended up having to pay a $200 fine which was not disclosed to the party prior. Lack of communication.

Food was excellent, but it was was very very cold seated in the restaurant. 3 of us had to put our jackets back on to finish the meal 🥶

Went with my mum for lunch a couple weeks ago. Food delicious as always. Service was quick although it really wasnt busy. Only thing was they said they didnt get my phone booking but then asked my phone number & saw it in the book. One of our favourite Thai places in Christchurch

Very very slow. They took our drink order after 45 minutes. I had to go and call them to atleast take our drinks order. 2 hours in and still no sign of food. Worst service ever.

Work dinner around 25 of us in one of the karaoke rooms.Service was good enough, food came out pretty quick and was beautiful.If in winter, I probably wouldnt go in that room again, 7pm booking and it was freezing, 1 electric bar heater in the back of the room.Karaoke system and more so the playlist needs a serious upgrade lolBut overall, we had a good night, ate well and made the most of it. Would have given 5 stars if it wasnt so cold.

I’m normally love the Thai chefs food, but tonight my curry was uneditable. It had curdled, splitting and lumpy when normally it’s smooth and delicious. This is not the quality you expect for a 20 dollar meal!

Quite disappointed with the service we received I booked a table for 6 last week but no booking when we arrived tonight they found a table for us but we ended up near the door in a drafty area most of the food we ordered was good two of the dishes we had was pork belly which was very chewy and tasteless, the service was quite poor I think they forgot about us. Will not be rushing back.

Good food but service let them down. Plenty of staff working but they forgot our second drink order and when I asked about it they then turned up with the wrong thing.Hospitality in Christchurch let’s itself down so much with service, it’s a shame.The curry puffs are very good and the group enjoyed their drunken/alcoholic noodles. Be aware that their medium is more on the hot side of things.

Two of our party ordered from Golden Wok menu F7, cashews with pork belly. The meat was extremely tough, hard, and dry, extremely unpleasant . Not good after travelling from the north island for a good Thai meal.

Took over an hour to take our order but proceeded to tell us it was our fault. Would not allow my partner and I to order a dish between us. Extremely rude staff, when we got up to leave due to this, they told us that we cannot leave unless we spend $500.

My boyfriend and I have been here many times and never leave disappointed. Food is always good, service is great and always plenty of seating for a last minute walk in.

We had a great experience here on Wednesday night. Advised by notices the team were impacted by COVID-19 illness & asking for patience from customers, the service was still friendly & as quick as could be expected under the circumstances. The food was, as usual, excellent. We had No Moon Tonight, Honey to start - delicious. Our mains were the lamb & duck curries - both very tasty. This was a team under pressure & they did a great job.

Best Thai Cuisine in Christchurch! Forgot to take photos until the dessert come. Friendly service and reasonable price. Would definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Worked in hospitality for 5+ years and this is the worst experience ive had in a restaurant. Our food took over an hour to arrive (Without a heads up for a staff memberOrdered a drink before i received my food and didnt arrive until after I had eaten. The manager that was running this clearly didnt know how to resolve issues between the customer and make sure the guest were well looked after. Food was also very average for a long wait time.

Absolutely shocking service!We showed up early to our reservation.They placed us in a terrible seating arrangement and it took an hour (no exaggerationfor our appetisers to arrive. I got up at least 3 times to ask where our food was. Drinks were no quicker. 1hr15mins later we finally get our mains brought out staggered.We felt shunted to the side and not taken care of at all. When asked for the manager, the manager came and talked to her staff in front of us and then left. The staff said they will give a 10% discount. Manager hiding behind a discount and her staff was in poor taste. We did not take the discount as we only wanted proper service.Won’t be coming back.

Large restaurant with a large menu and equally large portions. All our party enjoyed their meals. Service was friendly and prompt. Could do with downsizing portions and prices a bit. There is a charge for take out containers.

I came here for a BYO on Saturday night and loved it. The food was great, portions were big, great atmosphere and lovely staff.

The best Thai food I ever had! Everything was delicious! The place is very nice. Service was good and fast even though the restaurant was busy. Portion size was big. Highly recommended!

Had the duck in love curry& beef salad. Both of them tasted good, especially the curry with sweet fruity flaour from pinapple& lychee wellbalanced the spicyness. Salad could of had more green in it. Friendly staff.

It was a busy day with less staff at the counter to attend as receptionist and cashier at the same time. Food was good thai chef fried rice is diff from the normal thai rice. I had their signature one. It tastes like chicken green curry on rice

Very nice Thai food and a very nice restaurant.We had the Pad thai, Cashew Nuts and Alcoholic and they were all fine.The Alcoholic one was perfect ! 5/5, a little bit spicy but very deliciousThe cashew nut and pad thai were also pretty good 4/5I really liked how the interior looked like.The staff were so efficient and friendly as well.

Franchised Thai restaurant, weve been to the Wellington one before and first time in this christchurch branch. Fusion decor with Thai centric, variety seating arrangements flexible for groups of different sizes. Great services, staff are all very nice and friendly, happily packed left over for us to take home. Great location with free parking at rear but easily missed, though theres a carpark right next to it, their customers are not allowed to park there. We had a whole fish with special Thai sauce (we had the same thing in Wellington branch before and it was amazing BTWthe fish was not fresh, despite it being deep-fried, we could still smell it not being fresh. Also ordered a squid pad Thai, we didnt order seafood pad Thai to avoid cheap frozen seafood mix from the supermarket, but the squid was also not fresh. Slightly disappointed.

Both dishes were nice, the massaman beef was nice, we order it "hot" but it was mild, the green chicken curry was also ordered "hot" and was much spicier, both were good dishes and the chicken satay was excellent, no drinks service after ordering

Great place. The decor is on point and the staff are just amazingly friendly. The food was delicious but pricey (well worth it). The cocktails were a bit disappointing but thats not why u would go there. Just fabulous.
