Texas de Brazil in Oklahoma City

Finally ate here years after one of my fav Mexican food restaurants closed doors at this location. Ive had this type of meat presentation a few times in California, and was impressed with the format and overall quality so I had fairly high expectations.Wasnt all that impressed here though. It wasnt the worst, but some of the beef was slightly under-cooked making it rubbery to chew. Hit unchewable gristle at least 4 times on different pieces having to deposit it into a napkin. Some of the meats could have also been marinated longer for better flavor.The bar drinks on ice have WAAAAAAY too much ice. When do you serve a drink with the ice piled above the rim of the glass? No value at all for the money. Finish your drink and still have a FULL glass of ice? Just weakens an already weak drink. Clearly a blatant rip-off.Salad bar wasnt bad, but at the start of the dinner rush youd think everything would be topped off and ready to go. Not in this case. Dont go to a steak place with too much riding on the salad bar.Bottom line, for people who dont know better, they probably think this is special. Its not. When youve consistently had it better elsewhere, Texas de Brazil, at least at this location, isnt all that.Cant see any reason to go back. Could have done MUCH better at home with my own grill and bar for 1/3 the price. 3 stars is generous.

Since the pandemic the quality of the meats have gone down. Dinner portion prior to pandemic had more meat choices and this last couple of times for both lunch and dinner it seems they only keep 4-5 cuts at best. I’ve asked our waiter what they have in meats and I didn’t hear the previous ones from 2019. Still a good joint and very friendly staff.

A smaller Texas de Brazil in a mall. But the food was as good as any other Texas de Brazil I have been to. However, they seemed short-staffed and was not as amazing as expected. We took a while for me to get the fried bananas. Which is something I look forward to every time I go. All together me and my wife kept it fun but Texas de Brazil did not make it easy.

I love going here! Its always so good and the people are always so friendly.

Son & Daughter-in-Law invited me for dinner (had reservationsMy Son totally loved the selection of meat as well as my Daughter-in-law. Filet mignon and the Sirloin steak, FANTASTIC!Even though the restaurant was PACKED, we never had to wait for servers. The Buffet was absolutely wonderful especially the Salmon, PERFECT.

This location was a major let down. Husband and I love Brazilian food and enjoy dining at Texas de Brazil, as well as Fogo de Chao. We are visiting OKC from Las Vegas and brought our family here today 10/16/22 for lunch. (Table for 9)It took forever to get meats , we even had to tell the manager if he can send more cuts to our table because they kept going to other tables and not ours for some reason. Our waitress did the minimum, not hospitable at all, we had to ask for refills and ask her to take plates away. Probably saw her a total of 3 times while we were there. Our total was nearly $500 (as we expected because we dine this type of food oftenand for the service this location provided it simply was not worth the money.Will not be back at this location at all.

WOW, what an experience! A beautiful food display and since we eat with our eyes this works well. Then the meat, the meat and more meat, yes please! Well worth the money. The flavor was delicious and the service was great for our table of 10. Andrew handled it like a champ!! Thank you!

Ill tell you what; wasnt too sure about the pricing, but after the excellent customer service, it was a great experience and well worth it!!! The food was great, and a special thank you, to the manager José. It was a great experience for my boyfriends mothers, birthday. Next time we eat here, I will definitely take pictures.

OMG! This place is amazing!!!!!First you get a "salad bar" which is more like 50 chef created side dishes. Everything is kicked up and bursting with flavor.Then you get skewers of all sorts of cuts of meat delivered to your table. They also bring some fried banana, fancy flavored French fries, and mashed potatoes to your table.Every cut off meat I tried was ", melt in your mouth" good. The staff had great communication and knows how you like your steak cooked so they deliver what you like every time.We had a really good server who was friendly, informative, and attentive.If you have space for it they have delicious desserts. I got a carrot cake to take home and it was the perfect combination of ingredients and really moist, the perfect carrot cake.This place is expensive, so for me, a rare treat, but I look forward to dining here again someday.

Horrible food very low quality cuts of meats. All cooked well done and full of salt. Don’t waste your money. Mash potatoes were instant, salad bar sucked.

This place is a must imo. We went here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. I am already looking forward to our next visit. The salad bar was amazing as was all the cuts of meat that we tried. They had chicken parmesan, bacon wrapped chicken, drum sticks, sausage links, salmon, shrimp, at least four different kinds of beef steak, lamb, pork tenderloin….I may have forgotten a few lol. The lobster risotto was sooo good as were the fried bananas. They’re drink menu looked more like a coffee table book, the list of drinks just went on & one….which leads to my biggest disappointment…..they do not serve sweet tea. They do offer sweetener & sugar but sorry pops, it’s not the same.

Its fine. Feels like it used to be better, selection has trimmed down. Price seemed essentially the same as it was 3 years ago, so to keep up inflation theyve removed some items from the buffet selection and it seems like the meat doesnt come out as often. They could be having staffing issues, too, who knows.Either way, if Im going to drop 50 bucks a plate, Im probably going somewhere else.

This place was amazing. Me and my husband went for a lunch date without kids and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. We showed up little early for our reservation so had to wait by the front door or a while. Once we got seated we visited the food bar first because they just opened and was still cooking the meats. The food bar had a lot to choose from. But we didnt stock up much on that so we wouldnt get to full and not eat the meats. All the meats were really delicious and the servers were nice and helpful on the meats they had. We will definitely be back

This is one of the best churrascarías. The salad bar is always fully stocked with fresh items. The meats are great. Don’t forget to try the chutnies on your meat. As a plus most items are gluten free and the manager is well informed on what is not.

The first time we went to Texas de Brazil was in Fort Worth. The most amazing meal, ever! We came here since we live in Fort Smith. Lets just say if this was the first TDB we had went to, we would never try the chain, again. Flank was chewy and burnt. Filet was cold like it came out of the fridge cold. Salad bar was not fresh. The bread that is served was not done. $120 wasted.

For this diner, this was a truly unique experience. You start out with offerings from a beautiful salad bar as well as hot side dishes. You do not order individual meat entrees. Different varieties of meats are brought around to your table and you tell them if you want some of it or not. From top sirloin to parmesan chicken to roasted lamb to pork ribs and everything in between, the variety is impressive. Its basically endless until youre too full to hold anymore. Wonder desserts and adult beverages.

The service and food is inconsistent. They CAN deliver on quantity, but the quality changes from visit to visit.they will frequently serve overly fatty salmon on the "salad bar" and its hit or miss if other foods on the bar are dried out. The actual service, again is spotty.

The salad bar and sides were great. Nice variety of meat. Friendly staff and manager. Server Dylan S. was wonderful. Great environment for date night or a gathering with friends. Definitely recommend

Our party of 5 came to dinner here on Saturday the 13th celebrating our friends 40th birthday!! We had the most amazing experience and the most wonderful server Kristi!!! Please ask for her if you want to experience this place at its finest!! The atmosphere is wonderful as is all the food!! This isn’t a restaurant this is an all around good experience!! Go hungry and try everything !!!!

I can see the appeal but the salad bar is the best thing about this place. We had a table of 16, booked in advance , and we kept having to ask for more meat to come around. They just passed right by. The waiter we had was good but he didnt control the meat being served.I wont go back.

I don’t think it was my servers fault at all, I truly believe that my server (Zachwas on top of all his steps of service and did a great job, but management here needs work. The disorganization is so evident it’s palpable. The timing of the gauchos needs work, the wine list was missing pages which means they aren’t being cleaned/inspected daily (grosspretty sure the salad bar has noticeably less items but noticed the increased the size of the lettuce, tomato, and asparagus trays to make it appear more full. Ordered a $100 bottle of wine they didn’t have it, it took the manager (Jose Martin20min to come and tell me he didn’t have it, he was flirting with the hostess the whole night, when he finally came he told me they only had the 1.5 which is just 2 bottles in 1 of the SAME wine. Now, I worked in the service industry for 11years so I know when you sell wine you need to inform the customer about any changes (vintages, varietal, designationin the bottle to make them feel not taken advantage of, since changes with this could possibly increase the price. I ordered a $100 bottle now I got 2 of those bottles in 1 and was charged $335 there was an obvious price discrepancy between the large format and the 750 that Jose FAILED to tell me. Train your managers properly!!!! All in all the bottle cost me $400!!!! Now I had the money but I was NOT trying to spend $400 on just the wine for this dinner. It was a very SLEAZY move, Texas de Brazil needs to invest money into teaching their assistant managers on how to properly sell wine and talk about wine at a table with live guests, or I dunno at least teach Jose on how to properly sell wine because his table presence is garbage. Perhaps if I was that hostess he would have done his job properly. Sleazy sale techniques leave a very bitter taste in one’s mouth.

This place has outstanding service. They were constantly bringing out new meats, asking if we needed anything, filling our waters up, and checking on how we were doing. The one huge downside however was that the meats were sub par at best. Most of the meats were overly salty, dry, or just tasted older. Some cuts were also inconsistent. The filet was great at first but the next round was dry, raw, or way too salty. I think this place may do better to raise prices keeping the quality high. The meats to me seemed low quality or just old cuts of meats they were bringing out. The salad bar was quite fresh and clean but to me thats not what you want to go to this place for. Its the meats and the experience. The experience was great but the food was mid.

Our server was Zach and he was very pleasant, attentive, and just over all a super nice and cool dude. Great atmosphere and vibe. Its not our first time there but this was probably the best experience we have had their so far. Looking forward to dining again. Thanks Zach! Well take a shot in your honor!

Went there for our 5th anniversary. It was great. The salad bar was amazing. All the meats were tender, juicy and flavorful. Great service. It was a wonderful experience. This is going to be our regular thing.

Oh my! This place was amazing! All the meat is delicious and mouth watering! Try not to eat too much of the breads, salads, and garnish. You want to save room for the meats. I loaded up on the sautéed mushrooms to eat with the meat. Amazing.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, because its kinda like a buffet except they bring it to you..You have to order a few things separate but very good! (Lamb chops below🤤)

Highly , highly , highly over priced . We were expecting to be wowed , but instead was blahed . I know it was the lunch menu , however the sirloin was so tough my kids couldnt chew it and my wife and i barely could . The flank steak was tender , but flavors were just ok . I think theyre was another steak like a prime rib, this had the best flavor , but was so overly strong on the outside and not much on the inside . The 2 lamb meats were the best and I dont really care for lamb all that much . The bacon wrapped chicken was so dry we couldnt swallow it . Why on earth use white chicken when nothing on this menu is about eating low calorie . Dark meat is much more flavorful and moistFor the money there are several better choices in town

Sunday evening at 6;30. Had to wait fo 30 minutes after being told all they had to do was clean off a table and we could be seated. Nice salad bar, but most of the meat was overcooked. At 48 bucks a head. I expect better food and better service with no lying about seating.

Wow!! We had an amazing night out to Texas de Brazil in okc. The food was incredible, and the service from beginning to end was impeccable! They really went over the top to make our anniversary date night one to remember. We were in town visiting from Wichita, and would fully consider making the 2.5 hour trip for another chance to dine with the staff at Texas de Brazil. We both have experience in the restaurant industry and we were so impressed from beginning to end. Highly recommend! Thank you for making our night so memorable!

This is, by far, my favorite restaurant Ive ever been to. The experience is amazing, the food is out of this world, and you leave feeling like youve got your moneys worth. I steer clear of the salad bar so I have more room for meat. Thats not to say the salad bar is bad. It is phenomenal. Everything about this place screams perfection. My wife is well aware that we cant drive near this location without me yearning to stop by.

Combined recent two visit review. Similar experience. For some unknown reason, there seems to be a blind spot in the general area that we are seated at. The first visit, we kept seeing the meats being served in other areas and tables near us but the server just don’t make it to us. We waited 10 minutes until I had to go tell our server, please ask them to come by our table.The second visit was slightly better with meats being served right away and then it tailed off and we kept seeing the servers go to other area and bring their rack of meats back to the kitchen without stopping by. Our main server was attentive and nice and tried to remind them to bring meats by us, hence the 3 stars. Maybe will wait a while before coming back here again.Slight discomfort with having to pay on tablet and then the server holding it up for you to tip and give survey on tablet. The first visit we weren’t satisfied but the guy was holding it out and asked me to review. Of course I wasn’t going to click 1 star right in front of him. Should rethink how surveys are conducted.

I have eaten at places very similar to this and unfortunately this location left something to be desired. The food was great, the part that fell flat was the service. Had to hunt down wait staff multiple times and on one occasion asked a waitress for something only to be completely ignored and forgotten. I took my girlfriend bragging about the service these places offer and was sorely disappointed.

Been quite a while since Ive last been to Texas de Brazil, but they are still rocking it! I will say this time round the outer slices were way too salty, to the point that I couldnt eat it. Only reason I dropped one star. So be warned if the waiter comes and you get a piece from an uncut section. Other than that, the wait staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

This is one of my top dinner places/date nights. They have amazing quality and flavor of meat. It’s basically a buffet of meat but they come around to you and give you a slice of whatever meat you want-different steaks, chicken, pork, and ribs. So the meat is always hot and fresh as you get it! I love their salad bar! I call it a fancy salad bar with the different assortment of items on it. My favorite drink is their Brazilian limeade-my #1 is the cherry limeade flavor. Definitely check this place out!

Ive always loved this place but yesterdays experience was more like being in a golden corral or something. Everyone was set in a small area when they rest of the restaurant was empty. We felt extremely rushed. It was very noticeable that they were trying to push the cheaper meats (which I understand to a pointbut come on. Were spending over 100 a couple. Its not just about the food. Its about the luxury experience. Definitely not the same restaurant Ive gone to for years for special occasions.

The waiters walk around with huge skewers of meat and carve it off onto your plate. Also theres a big salad bar with potatoes au gratin and cheese and lobster bisque and stuff. Texas de Brazil.

Always have a great experience the food was delicious. Steak bursting with flavor I especially loved the top sirloin and lamb. Our waiter Dylan provided excellent service the whole staff was warm and inviting. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend.

Update: March 2022 this place gets chaotic after 6pm on weekend evening. It also seems that if you personally know any of the managers you can move ahead of any of the people that had been waiting. For that reason alone I have to drop my 5 star rating to 4. Salad bar and food still excellentI’m doing a Rick Flair Wooooo….we’ve walked by this restaurant many times but finally decided to try on wife’s mid 30’s birthday. Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere with ambient lighting. Top notch service (thanks Nathan). Words can’t really explain the taste that my palate was going through, the different meats and unique blend of spices and cuts was refreshing. The salad bar is nothing short of top notch and the meats just kept coming and I was looking at my wife wondering how much more meat can she take (shhhI was getting a bit worried but all in fun, we enjoyed our experience. The staff, food and service was beyond our expectations.

Martley was an amazing waiter and the manager was very kind. I paid around $50 for my meal but I got truly one of the best meals I’ve ever gotten for every shrimp, Salmon, Top sirloin, and any top quality meat that exists cooked to perfection. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes to OKC. Clean environment with staff that are willing to serve you. I’ve done hundred of reviews and don’t hold back on them for anyone.

Food was amazing! I was a bit skeptical at first because I have never been to a place like it before. I sat at the bar area which would of been just as good as sitting at one of the tables. But as soon as I came in I went to the salad bar they had all kinds of delicious food at the salad bar alone. Then after that I got a card that had two sides one side was green and the other was red. Boy let me tell you keep that bad boy to green and the most delicious cuts of beautiful meat are going to make it your table and will not stop coming until you flip the card. This is one of the best if not the best restraunt I have ever been to in my life and I do make these reviews all the time and this is one of the best expierences ever. I love this place and I wish to come back again one day. Also on top of this all the service was amazing nothing fell short at all!

Place clean, staff great... Prices not so much. Its like a sample restaurant, different types of meat, you still need salt and pepper. I only ate salad, my wife sampled the meat items and still paid $90 something dollars, its all good my wife enjoyed it but trust and believe I wont be back..

This is a very unique rating experience. The salad bar is fully loaded, multiple cheeses, Lobster Bisque, beads, toppings, everything you want including a couple meats, like bacon and prosciutto. There is a hot food bar with breads, mushrooms, scalloped potatoes. They bring to your table fries, mashed potatoes, fried banana, and cheese bread. There was 6 meats, and cream cheese jalapenos. The dessert choices were very good as well, cream cheese pecan pie, cheese cake, and creme Brule. I will be going back as there was not a bad aircraft to our experience.

What an experience. I have now been 5 times. This most recent time my wife and I brought our fathers as a Christmas gift and what says a good review than a couple of very satisfied dads. The atmosphere was pleasant, the restaurant itself very clean, the service fantastic, and the food! The food mouth watering. Each meat came off the grill piping hot and fresh. I dont eat from it that much, but the salad bar is always fresh and with a wide selection. To the sad individual who left a 1 star review on CHRISTMAS DAY, consider it a miracle and be thankful that they were open. To the rest reading this review, try it out if you have not and be prepared for a wonderful experience. And to the Texas De Brazil team, keep up the fantastic work. Love it and will continue to come back.

TdB never disappoints. Their meat is always cooked and seasoned perfect. Their salad bar is always fresh and amazing. I would eat here every day if I could afford it. Our waiter Devin was awesome.

We ordered and picked it up for dinner. We tried the parmesan pork , the sausages , the mashed potatoes and the cheese bread & all of it was very delicious! The pork and the sausage were both very juicy !! The next time we come here we will dine in , & I will probably try the lamb and the amazing salad bar options I saw they had ! The staff was very helpful and courteous in getting us our order we placed on the app ! We will definetly be back

This place was AMAZING! Warm ambiance, beautiful decor, incredible food, and fantastic service! Pricey, but definitely worth the experience. Every single cut of meat was cooked to perfection, the salad bar is stocked with all sorts of fresh foods to offset all the meat, and the desserts are a wonderful ending to a splendid meal.

This was my first visit. We went to celebrate our anniversary and I was own away by the service and the food and drinks. Absolutely the best place Ive experienced yet!.

My boyfriend had an amazing birthday experience here! Our waiter, Dylan, was very great, 10/10 would recommend his service as well as our bar tender, drinks were phenomenal. A bit pricey but very much worth it for the food, the experience, and the customer service. Made the day special.
