Texas Roadhouse in Huntsville

Always a busy place, but their service is always very friendly! My son and I went for an early dinner on Sunday. Only had a 15-20 minute wait. I had a grilled chicken salad and my son had chicken fingers with a baked potato. His chicken and potato were overcooked, but my salad was great. They took my sons meal.off his ticket and were very kind.Will give them another try soon! Always been a great family spot!

We had an awesome steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then got two dinners to go. We had great service! The rolls and the cinnamon butter are to die for! We love Texas Roadhouse! They have handicapped parking they have handicap bathrooms. You can also do a carryout order outside the restaurant and then wait for it to take it home.

Great dinner. Steak, loaded sweet potatoes, salad. Both of our dinners were awesome and I asked for blue rare. They got it right

The Server was exceptional however mine and my wifes steaks were not cooked to our order specification but we still ate it after waiting almost an hour outside and being hungry, the rest of our food was delicious and we left full.

Jake was the main problem solver Marcus and karma helped me so much and I appreciate them so much. They made sure I had the best service and served with nothing but smiles and care, exactly what you need when your going to a restaurant!!! Thank you so much you guys give them all raises

We normally love Texas Roadhouse but the last two times we’ve placed To-go orders we have been missing something. Tonight it was a whole meal. The manager on the phone sounded like she could care less and said, they could remake it but it would take over 25 minutes. She was so unhelpful, she made me feel like a huge inconvenience. The long wait time plus me having to drive back made me realize we won’t be going back after this. It was so disappointing.

Arrived this evening at 4:15/4:20 with a party of two. There were two hostesses at the reception station. The girl without the headset took my name and phone number and told me it would only be a 5-10 minute wait. Looking around there were at least a half dozen two-person booths open. After 30 minutes I went in to check the status as there were others arriving after us and getting seated. This time the girl with the black hair and headset said I was told there was a 15-20 minute wait and she wasnt even there when I checked in. She lied to my face. Then she said I was just sent a text and that there were three parties ahead of me??? What? Why send me a text then. She lied again. After waiting an hour we left. I am home now and its been over an hour and a half and I have still not received a text.Your hostesses just cost you a lot of business.You may not care because you seem to still be busy, but keep up this pathetic service and youll be history.

If you get the chicken Caesar salad, be careful and look thru your salad for bugs! At least it was already dead… I believe it was a fruit fly or gnat or some kind.

This place is great the steaks are delicious and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. We had the fried onion thing, which I have not tried before and it lived up to the hype. I have absolutely no complaints with this fine establishment.

The service and food was good, but nearly all the employees were wearing shirts that said “I ❤️ my job” on the back, which I feel is exploitative and coercive to make an employee wear. It feels like the company imposing emotional labor to prove the statement emblazoned upon their backs in an already emotional labor intensive job. It’s gross.

We greatly enjoyed our dinner and environment. Using the online app to reserve ahead made it even more enjoyable. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and everything turned out as desired. The staff was very nice and service with a smile!

Compared to any other visit to this restaurant I have to say this evening was a big let down. Got my food to go… unfortunately. I would have sent it back if I had dined-in. The steak was bland, and the rolls were kind of old. $35 down the drain. The server at the to-go window was nice. Did a great. Maybe she should have made my steak. The sweet iced tea mediocre. Thinking I may not return.

The call ahead wait list failed us. We followed the instructions, checked in via text but after waiting 45 minutes (should have been 15-25 minuteswe went inside and was told that they did not see the check in.

Showed up for lunch as soon as they opened on a Friday. Hardly any other customers. Seated quickly, but service was painfully slow. Waited 25 minutes just to get 2 drinks. They finally arrived 1 minute before our food order arrived. Requested medium-rare steak salad. Steak was medium-well at best, was tough, and lacked any real flavor. First time eating there…and last. I haven’t been to this location in years. It’s always very crowded and loud. We decided to try it tonight and it was a very pleasant experience. We were there on a Tuesday evening, got right in, and had bread at the table super fast. The server was nice and the food was very good. My husband and son got the bacon cheeseburger and I got the chicken fingers. We got the onion for an appetizer. Everything was hot and cooked really well. We are looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

Rolls are delicious!Steak is just mediocre. Definitely not better than Longhorn steak. Bartender KY was very pleasant!

I ordered 2 complete dinner meals and a salad. My boyfriend picks up our dinner and when he gets here, the sides to my dinner are missing. A dinner comes complete with 2 sides. You cant even place the order without the sides because that completes the meal. I did not eat my dinner because I didnt want to eat just meat only. I call to explain the situation to a manager but her choice was only to replace the sides. Not the meal. Mind you, I never ate any of it. But since the original meal was insufficient due to the sides being missing, I feel the meal should be replaced or refunded due to my inconvenience. She ended up hanging up the phone on me. Im going to call back so that Im sure to get her name. This was not good customer service. The entire meal was insufficient without the sides. I even offered to bring the half slab of ribs back just to show that I never touched it. So I paid for a meal and didnt get to have my dinner due to their negligence and they didnt even want to make it right. They messed up the order I placed last month as well. No rolls were given. All the employee has to do is read what the customer orders and place it in the bag, yet they cant seem to do that simple task. Accidents do happen. But they could atleast try to compensate their customers. I will be talking to whomever is over this Jeff Road location. My boyfriend and I order atleast twice a month. They just lost 2 customers over poor customer service to replace a meal that was insufficient due to their own negligence. VERY unprofessional indeed.

Our server Ravyn was so sweet! She made our night awesome and really knew her stuff when it came to questions about the drink and food menu. She was super helpful and even though they were super busy everything was timely and she made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much Ravyn you were amazing!

My experience here was absolutely awesome starting with the service I had James he went above and beyond and was hands down the best service I had ever received easily. Cant say enough good things about him my steak was cooked perfect all my food was good but even if the food had been average my service alone would had made my experience well above average. Cant wait to eat there again I recommend ask for james

10 months ago I rated this location a 10. I wish today I could rate 0. My most recent experience is listed below:I had the MOST NEGATIVE DEFINING MOMENT I have EVER encountered in a restaurant. In all my years.... I HAVE NEVER! My mouth was so ready for a ribeye steak after a long day at work. I placed my order online and after the appropriate timing, I went to pick up my order. Upon getting the text that my food was ready, I excitedly went to go get my food only to be disappointed. Upon me opening the bag to ensure my food was correct, the juice from my food was spilling all in the bag. I asked for my food to be replated. Another customer advised me that I should return to the counter to see how my food was being handled. To my shock it was not after waiting. Upon my ask to replate the food, I was looked at as if I was asking for the world. I went in to advise the manager at this point I would desire my meal fresh. The manager assured me that she would ensure that it was replated rather than microwaved. Staff came out requesting other staff to close the sliding window. I advised that my concern would be that the food that had just been sitting there would be reboxed. I was advised that I could come in and get my food from the host station to only have the manager talking about my request as if it were unreasonable loud enough for other customers to hear her. Of course the staff continued to move around to see who I was and snickered at my concerns. At this point I definitely did not trust that my food would be prepare correctly. Therefore, I requested a refund. The manager whom I had spoken with previously did not come to address my refund request but sent someone else as Im hearing cursing coming from the kitchen. Ultimately, I was provided with my refund but for my fellow VZ Dub and Delta coworkers, you know I am a stickler for customer service. When service is good, I rave about it but when it is this lack luster: NO CUSTOMER FOCUS, NO VERBAL ASSESSNENT OF MY CONCERS AND NO OFFERS OR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SOLUTION I MUST SHARE. Nevertheless I ended up at Chick-fil-A where the customer service was A1!

Terrible manager named “B” we ordered a Margarita, it was so sweet that we couldn’t drink it and asked if we could get another kind of margarita. The manager “B” said we have to pay for it because by “AL state law” they are losing money if someone doesn’t like a drink. No management skills at all on how to say things… Very disappointed!!!

We just got to go but it was so good ,had the ribeye, salad and loaded baked potatoe and it was a really big meal. Cooked just right(like we ordered)and was all-around a good meal. The price was really reasonable also. All and all a big thumbs up. Great bar also!!!!

Dasia was very sweet. The rolls were good and the chicken tenders were great. My baked potato wasnt as fresh as I like and not enough cheese on the salad, but overall satisfied for the price. I would come back here again 🙂

Very busy (Thursday dinnerbut still was able to find space at the bar and walkins were sat quickly. Service was quick and food was out timely. Everything was tasty and the experience was as it should be.

Scheduled a pickup order for a later time and received a text 22 minutes before the scheduled pickup time saying the food was ready. So of course it was cold by the time I picked it up and got it home. I ordered two sides and they got one wrong and they completely forgot the second side. Thats three mistakes in a single order. Pickup orders arent new so I dont understand how they can be this bad at it?

My first time eating here today I got seated very quickly the employees was nice and they asked how I was doing and my waitress she was nice. I ordered the pulled pork dinner it was pretty good. My food was hot fresh and tasty I will definitely be back.

I ordered the 9 oz fillet medallions medium on a bed of rice with mushroom sauce. What I got was an undercooked 6 oz fillet & a 3 oz medallion. My mind was absolutely blown by the poor service from the manager, it had been an extremely long dining experience, we were exhausted & frustrated.

It was our 44th Anniversary dinner. We choose Texas Roadhouse for our special occasion. The wife wanted a margarita I ordered a draft beer half hour and still no drinks we ask about our drinks the waitress replied she would have to check to see if they were ready. She came back and said they were waiting on clean margarita classes. The wife canceled her drink. Then we ordered or meals when they arrived all five were over cooked. You would think that the manager would come to the table and apologize for the mess up. So he never showed up we had to ask for him. He brought our meals out and apologize and said he would take care of the check after all was said and done I still had to pay $ 60.00 dollars.worst experience ever. Never again!!

Hate to do this but ; our 7th time to this location since they opened and always a disappointment. Went on Fathers Day, half empty tables but 1 hour 40 min average wait to be seated. Wifes ribs were so tough they had to re cook another rack. My ribeye had more fat then meat and seasoning was so un balanced. Place was filthy and restrooms made me just wait to get home. Good job to our waitress , she was great and perfect personality.

The food has been very good. We got to take out one time and we were supposed to get a burger and got a steak. I had other problems with take out make sure you check before you leave. You never can tell if you going to get it right. They were very good about replacing the problems...

I had higher hopes going to Texas roadhouse. The only thing I enjoyed was my ceaser salad and sweet potato. The catfish was was to fishy and didnt care for the breading. My husbands steak was really fatty and had blood pouring out the steak , he asked for medium cooked. He only enjoyed his ceaser salad and sweet potato as well!

We were 1 of the first to be seated today at lunch (6/12). Our server greeted us. As I told her what we wanted to drink, she immediately said, "Slow down. Today is my first day." Ok. No problem. Im a server, too. After we ordered kid drinks and an alcoholic bev, we asked if we could get our 10-year old autistic daughter a virgin strawberry daiquiri. She loves slushies. We were trying to have an enjoyable lunch.bthe server came back. She said the bartender (a young maletold her that he only makes beverages with alcohol. He dont make non-alcoholic anything. My husband politely told our new server that we would be going elsewhere. After sitting 15 mins, we still didnt have our waters or kid beverages. We were her only table!!This is our 2nd bad experience here. We wont be back. We went to Red Robin, enjoyed super fresh food, margaritas, and chocolate milkshake for our girl. Service was amazing!

I went with 3 other friends and while my plate was perfect, my friends werent satisfied with their dinner. Two friends ordered a bone-in ribeye and got a boneless ribeye after specifically requesting bone-in. Also, we all ordered medium rare steaks, and one came back well done.

We dined as a family at the restaurant tonight and our sons salmon was undercooked. The manager never came to the table and approached our son when he went to the bathroom and offered to take half off the meal since he ate half the food (which he didn’t because the fish was raw he ate the mashed potatoesWhen I asked to see her because she never came to the table and my husband was paying for the food. She came over angry and actually argued that half cooked salmon is normal and she would toss it back on the grill. The same fish that had at that point been sitting on the table for two hours and insisted the hot grill will kill the germs. She was incredibly rude and I had to insist she take it off the bill. One that that has to be a health code violation to put raw food from a customer’s plate on a grill with other dining tables food that was seafood. And two she never even bothered to talk to us and insisted our son agreed to the arrangement. He thought she was cooking him a half portion of new fish. But either way it was completely unprofessional to not come talk to me and my husband and charge us half price for an inedible meal. Then she tried to blame it on the server who was probably the nicest waitress we have ever had and had nothing to do with the issue. I am extremely disappointed with the level of training a manager receives to feel this is an appropriate way to handle a customer complaint. And I do not accept that being yelled at by a manager insisting she is correct and I don’t understand proper cooking procedures. I’m the customer and I expect food to be properly cooked or remade not tossed back on the grill after hours of waiting for something they weren’t even doing. I will never recommend this location to anyone else ever!

My wife and I visited the Texas Roadhouse on Jeff Road, 9 June 2022 at 4:20 pm. Restaurant was about 5% full and waiters/waitresses were in abundance. Waited at the table for over 10 minutes and no waiter or waitress came to our table to take our drink or food order. All of these employees were too busy congregating around the kiosk dancing, laughing and joking around. Reseated ourselves in the bar area and was immediately approached by the bartender, Michael, who promptly took our drink and food order. He was very courteous and attentive. He ensured that our visit was an enjoyable one. Recommendation: Screen and train all employees before hiring. Demand that employees be customer focused and professional. Don’t want to see this restaurant do down hill, but it is on its way.

Food was good and the service was good. My wife and I shared the fried pickles and rattlesnake bites(?). The fried pickles were good, but a little saltier than I would have preferred. The rattlesnake bites (at least I think that is what they were calledwere great. They were fried jalapenos and cheese. For a main meal, we shared a 12oz New York strip steak. We asked for medium and it was probably more towards medium rare side, but the flavor was great. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed the food.

SO DELICIOUS! Had the bone-ribeye and it was like butter! Best steak Ive had in 2 years. The grilled shrimp app was okay (only 5 pieces for $7); the tater skins were a much better value and delicious. The house salad was fine; the Caesar was way too drenched, but the croutons were wonderful (nice and light, unlike some places where you think you might chip a filling!). The steak fries were good. The server, Brianna, was a delight...very friendly, very attentive; tons of TVs. Will definitely be going back.Another perfect meal, got the same except with dressing on the side: perfect. 2nd time at this location; another locale wasnt able to cook the steak properly, guessing b/c it was the dinner rush. This location was perfect even though it was swamped.

After waiting 40 minutes we were escorted to our table. The floor was so slippery with who knows what I couldn’t slide into position in the booth seat and it smelled like an old foot. When I asked the waitress she responded that she is new and doesn’t know. We were not offered a different seat but plenty seemed open. After sitting in this filth I quickly lost my appetite so we canceled our drinks and quickly left. I’m sure to never return. Please do a deep cleaning of your establishment. It needs it.

Flies everywhere. Flies outside, in the bathrooms, at your table, and everywhere in between. Longer wait time with half the restaurant seating open. You could tell the staff was not happy to be there. It’s ironic since the back of their shirts say “I love my job.” This place wasn’t all that clean. I really like Texas Roadhouse, even with it being a chain, but I don’t think I’ll be back to this particular location.

Twas a busy night but was ask if I minded eating at the bar so that I could get served quicker because the wait was going to be an hour. Got seated and food order and food came promptly. Food was good other than the ribeye being a little fatty. But what do you expect for $21.Sam

This was our first time going to Texas Roadhouse and we loved it. We didnt wait to long(10 minon a Tuesday. The food was great and the staff did a Birthday celebration for a customer, looking around the restaurant it was nice to see everyone having a good time. We will definitely go back.

I can’t remember if we’ve had worse experience with any restaurant. First, we waited in a line more than twice longer compared to the time we were promised. Second, we were seated at a very dirty table. Looks like previous clients vomited under the table or dropped a good portion of chewed food. And Texas Road House team gave us this dirty table. It’s unacceptable! After that we left the restaurant.I have no desire to come back and try their food.

We stopped by on Saturday night. Even though they were really busy we got a table for four in about thirty minutes. I had pork chops and they were very good. Seasoned right and cooked perfectly. Service was good and timely. The others had steak all ended up happy. We had a problem with one of the steaks. Honestly just a bad cut of meat. Was no problem server came back quickly with a new steak and potato that was perfect. Things happen sometimes. The best part is they recognized the issue and addressed it. I would definitely go back.

My family and I had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. It proved to be beneficial to call ahead for our party of 7 because the patrons outside had to wait a little bit but of course its worth the wait. We will return

I frequent the Jeff Rd. location 1-2x/ mo.The host found this table acceptable.When I asked what that was on the floor, I was told steak sauce...and he (STILLleft it there.When I told my waitress her response was, "you shouldnt have been seated here."But we still werent moved to another table.Not to mention the condiment cup in the booth.I wont be back to that location.What else are they not cleaning properly?

Our server Ash was fantastic! We havent really been out to eat since the pandemic began. She was wonderful, attentive and impressive handling a party on top of our table too. Our appetizer came after our salads, which was kind of disappointing, but our food came shortly after our salads right on time. Now Im picky about my steaks (Outback will always be my favbut this steak was fire!! High Five to the grill cook! Steaks were perfect! Thanks so much. From the host stand to the end of our meal, the service was fantastic! Its nice to see amongst all the chaos we have going on. From two former servers, we were impressed with this 19 year olds service and the service of everyone on staff. Yall rock. Keep it up kid, its only up from here. That was one of the best gift cards we have recieved. Im glad we came. Brava.

Pretty good. Im a bit spoiled as far as steak goes, so take that into account when you consider this review. I thought it was quite good. It is not expensive at all. I had the bone-in ribeye. It was pretty good. The cut itself seemed off a bit. I know we are living in tough times with the supply chain, so I can understand some difficulties. That being said, the steak had more than a little grizzle, enough to be off-putting, but no more than an annoyance. I asked for medium rare, I would say the steak was closer to medium. The served side was pale while the underside was well charred and better looking which was puzzling to me. The wife had the filet, it looked great, if slightly small. Her green beans looked like they might have been dyed, perhaps, to look greener? They looked almost alien in color. Of particular note: the service was superb. I cant recall her name and that really bothers me, she did a great job.

The experience here was great! It was a little bit more crowded than usual though, so it took a little bit more time for our food to arive. I got a half rack of ribs and I couldnt even finish them. The ribs were amazing, they were crispy and full of flavor. I also got a loaded sweet potato, it was delicious as always, a little bit hot but the flavor made up for it. Over all experience was great! I do recemend as a dime out dinner choice!

The food was good. But everything i requested wasnt in my bag. They always leave stuff out of the togo orders. Make sure u check that everything is there before leaving.
