We ordered some Chicken specialities , it was just ok

If you’re looking for a Great Steakhouse and AMAZING service,then you have to come see Lo. She is so professional, kind, on top of it and makes your experience wonderful. This is what great customer service is all about!

I was in town helping my daughter move and as a token of appreciation she treated me to dinner. The service was awful. Half the drinks came out and by the time the rest of them showed up the glasses on the table were empty. Three of us ordered Caesar salads and one of us ordered chili. Two Caesar salad’s and two house salads were brought to the table. I ordered my second crown and sprite but requested that it come in a short rocks glass instead of the pint my first was served in. When the drink came to the table it was in another pint glass. I brushed it off and accepted it. Then the bill came along with the chili that’s was supposed to my daughters appetizer. After looking over the charges we noticed that the crowns I ordered were rang in as doubles and the 2 blue drinks that were ordered were served with additional shooters that were not ordered. I left my daughter to contest the charges and I left and drove directly to Walmart were I noticed my wallet missing. I called road house and asked if it was left at the table to find nothing had been turned in. I raced across town back to the restaurant to look for my self. I asked the server and she couldn’t be less concerned. In fact she used to the opportunity to try and shake me down for more money stating the tab was short. I got the same treatment from the floor manager. I almost got into a confrontation with guest who were now sitting at the table. They didn’t appreciate there dining experience being intruded on. I had just handed my daughter 7000 cash and she’s a corporate manager at twin peaks. I’m 100% positive she didn’t short the check. I’d put the 200 cash I had in my wallet that the sever pocketed cash from the tab because she wasn’t tipped and then pocketed my wallet. I’ve had to spend all morning canceling Debit and credit cards and ordering new ID cards. I had banking and my social card in that billfold. This has been an absolute nightmare. This entire experience has made me sick to my stomach. At least the cook new what he was doing.

UPDATE 9/29/2022My family and I had a great dinner tonight. The food was perfect. Our server, Si was the best. She was the best. Very attentive and wonderful personality. We will definitely ask for her next time we go.Dinner was wonderful. Steaks were cooked to perfection. My husband had grilled shrimp with his and he said they were very delicious.

Excellent meat cuts with appropriate seasoning. Prime rib is always a go to at medium rare. The wife and I had sirloin steaks tonight. Cook temps were correct on both, plates and sides were all prepared well. Unfortunate server tonight, had to remind him numerous times for drink refills and even our salad. Not reflective of the restaurant overall though.

Absolutely love this place! Sure, they are not the greatest steaks in the world, but they are consistently fantastic. When traveling, consistency is what Im looking for and they nail it as always!!!

All I ordered was half a dozen rolls. They said my order would be ready at 9:17, I got there at like 9:20. I replied to the message they sent me to let them know I was here, and they said my order wasn’t ready yet and to wait for another text. I waited another 10 minutes and called the restaurant asking about the status of my order, the to-go person basically said the same thing; it wasn’t ready and they’d text me when it was. After another 10 minutes they called me back and told me they actually ran out of rolls altogether and I’d be getting refunded. I’m just wondering why they couldn’t have told me that the first time I called or why I was even able to place the order in the first place if they were out. Huge waste of time, won’t be ordering to-go again.

Ordered a med-rare filet. It was raw. It was put back an the grill. The outside of the filet was way over done while most of the middle was still raw. The manage brought the filet back to us and was more interested in leaving our table than making it right. She could definitely see it was not done properly and was happy to leave the table when we did not feel like making an issue about it. Nothing was taken off our bill.

Cant go wrong with this! Only problem... the ribeyes are too thin that they have trouble cooking them as requested. Cant do medium... so eh.

Decided to do to go. Big mistake!!! Ordered online showed up at the quoted time. The 4 spaces they have marked for to go orders were taken and no one at the to go spot. So, people park in them and go inside to eat cool. I had to double park to go pick up our order. Just to be told it will be another 10 minutes. That I will get a text when ready. After waiting 15 more minutes with zero text I walked back up there. Order was ready. Thanks for the text girls. Then get it home 1 of the steaks are overcooked. Suppose to be med rare and it was well done. Then the salad was hot and cheese melting plus the butter was already halfway melted. So, guess my order was ready when I walked up there the 1st time. For $50 it shouldve been better. Especially when people are doing takeout cause you cant fix for them right there. I wont be back

The food was great. Had the beef tips o in mushroom gravy. Cooked perfect. The service was excellent.

The waitress was very much in a rush wasnt even paying attention what we wanted to order she was looking around not paying no attention to us I ordered steak cooked medium and I got a well done tough steak I asked for sweet and low never did get it so I had to ask some other employee to give it to me then we were still eating and our waitress was trying to give us To go plate for our left overs when we were trying to enjoy our food never gave us any refill drinks weve had lots better customer service than this yall can do better we r regulars I understand they were busy but when a waitress doesnt pay attention to what we want to order etc and walks away before we tell them what we need this needs to be inproved

Let me start with our Server Santana he was on the dot with everything so friendly and polite you can tell he actually enjoys people and the steak was cooked to perfection bone in ribeye is a must but Overall our Server and food was beyond great for date night for us and yall definitely need to give this man a raise he goes above and beyond for Texas road houseOn another note the only reason for 4 stars and not 5 Id there is tons of cobwebs everywhere from the signs on the wall to the lights above the table other than that great placeSincerely Braden Lamb

Never gave a 5 star. Service was great. Anyone passed your table asked if you need anything. Fast & very friendly customer service 👍 food was served fast & on point with the steaks. Definitely going back. They are going to open up in Clovis NM. Dont let us down. Lubbocks restaurant set the bar high.

Steak was undercooked. Unnecessarily small potato was way over cooked. Rolls were very good. Place was packed

I went to eat at the Texas Roadhouse there in Lubbock,TX. I understand it was a Saturday evening and it was busy. However, when you place your name on the waitlist, it is basically you letting them know you are on your way. I get it that you must check in when you arrive. However, it gives you a time to arrive. After already being there and waiting exactly 55 minutes I get told, that was just a time of arrival. If that’s the case, what’s the point of placing yourself on the way list. The hostessses were very rude and tacky. And some manager was next to them and he didn’t say anything. After finally waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes. We finally get a table. The food wasn’t the best. I have been to many Texas Roadhouses but this has been the worst experience. The servers we had were excellent. They went above and beyond to make the experience good. The wait time for ridiculous and this is the first establish that holds you to wait exactly a guesstimated amount of time especially for a table of two. Unfortunately I will continue to eat at Texas Roadhouse but not at the Lubbock,TX location.

I like Texas Roadhouse a lot. Whenever I can I eat here. The food is delicious and the waiter/waitress I have gotten have always been spot on.The bacon cheese fries are a great appetizer. And the cold crisp cesaer salad has always been well made.The steak has always been cooked exactly the way I like it and Im glad to have never had to say take it back please. Cant go wrong with Texas Roadhouse.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time and everything was great. Now it makes sense why we couldn’t even get in the door (it was packed, given a Friday night dinner rush). Treasure was our server and even though the restaurant was completely packed, she made sure we had everything we needed. We definitely want to come back!

It was really good we had a wonderful waitress, she did a great job. The steaks were really good, very juicy, delicious.

Good service. Very noisy and crowded but they were hosting a special event. Food good. 2 sides and warm rolls with steaks.

donavon was our server and he was amazing , my chicken critters were small but he went to bring me some more w’o me asking! and he made sure we always had bread and full drinks, love coming here!

I ordered online and picked up at store, I asked the lady at pickup window if they have my ice cream for my desert and she said yes, when I get back in the car check it there is no ice cream, and I went back the there to ask her. It took her 20 minutes to get my ice cream I really don’t know why, I know that they are busy but I ordered one hour ago, I supposed to have all my item ready before most of them, right? And when I get back to my work place, there is no utensils either which I asked when I placed the order, and now how can I eat the steak without a knife and a fork, what’s the point of having Togo order. So disappointed

I ordered a ribeye to go and I got a New York strip that wont happen again Im still a loyal customer but that needs to be taken care of! I do know the difference between a New York strip and a ribeye I am a steak connoisseur!

My grandfather and I have a standing date here weekly and have for years. Best steaks and shrimp in town especially for the price. Chris always takes great care of us! You really can’t beat Texas Roadhouse.

Wait time for food was the worst. We waited over an hour. One of our steaks was cooked wrong. Sent it back to be fixed the way we ordered. By the time it was brought back out, everyone else’s food was cold. We go to eat as a family not individually. Very disappointed overall. Don’t plan on going back.

Best place for a super chicken fried chicken meal with two sides

Got a salad with my meal and half ways done with it there was a dead fly. I showed the waitress and she just said "oh would you like another one". Not an apology nor did she go and get the manager. She just took it and acted like nothing happened. When I was ready to pay I asked her if she let the manager know about the fly and she said yes, did he not come to talk to you and I told her no. I just couldnt enjoy my food.

It was busy,, like always,, but.......It was the best meal that weve had in a very long time!

This was our first time going here. We went on Fathers Day and it was PACKED. We went online to get put on the waitlist before going. Boy was that a smart idea. Even with the online waitlist is was still a 20 to 30 min wait. Like I said it was packed. Once we got in everything was great. The food was amazing. The the service and friendliness of the staff was so awesome. Even though the wait was longer than we wanted it was still worth it. Well definitely be going back. This time not on a holiday. 😁😁😁

My daughter chose this for her birthday diner. Absolutley wonderful experience! Our server, Donovan, took very good care of us! The food was 100% delicious. Cant wait to go back!

Great service, lots of refills and checking on things. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that things were a little more charred for my liking. Went with another family, called ahead and everything was kept straight for the bill abd orders.

Fathers Day…ordered 6 meals for the men in our family, 2 of them were steaks and to be cooked med well. Got home my order was missing 2 sides and the steaks were still mooing! This is a popular place in my area and always super busy, but for what I spent today I really wish more effort and care was put into my order! I had to “fix” the steaks which took away from the original plan. Wowzers

I had new york strip with a cup of chili and buttered corn on the sides. Everything was perfect. That bread was amazing too.

We had a great waiter that was super quick and kind the whole night. Everything from the salad to dessert was fresh and delicious. Steak was done at a perfect medium. Some places cant get it right. The shrimp was not over cooked which tends to happen at chain restaurants. Since Im not a big eater I always ask for a to-go box and our waiter was great about getting that quickly and without attitude like some places when you ask. It did get super busy but the staff was on it to clean up and seat folks quickly. The bathroom and main dining area was clean.

Food was amazing as always. Had to park quarter of a mile away behind a hotel. Massive congestion at the front door and nearly impossible to work your way through the crowd to get to your table. The food is great, atmosphere is much like sardines packed in a can!

I’m putting one star because my server Finn was very attentive and helpful but the food was not good. I asked for my steak cooked medium well and they brought my steak out cold and well done. After returning the steak back to me it was basically rare and I had to take it home. Awful and never coming back!!!!!!!!

Update: Still delicious food. I had a 12 Oz ribeye and cooked medium to perfection. The sweet potato was yummy.The only thing that was not tasty was the rice. Tasted like it came out if a box.-------------------Always delish!

Excellent, well paced, and friendly service on a surprisingly busy Tuesday night. Great food, bread is tasty, and the porterhouse was perfect for 2 people. They had a few birthday welcomes going on and yelling Yee-haw! Fun staff.Facilities themselves could be improved, booths and tables are a bit small and the restroom desperately needs renovation (or at least new toilet seats).

Ordered to go at 10:45am to be ready at 12pm, (given we knew it may be a little afterMain issues had to wait 30 plus mins, was told multiple times that it was "Being Bagged" over 30 mins guess that is why the ordered was cold, maybe someones left over items on plates. Totally ridiculous. We always tip big and I hate giving this review but when you spend over $105 dollars for lunch it should be hot/warm at least, correct, silverware (I mean why ask? if youre not going to get itOne of the side dishes on the $25 dollar plate of ribs was scraps pretty sure off of someones plate it was half corn half green beans and some crumbs and half empty (pretty gross so I took pictures and plan on emailing the cooperate office. We love this restaurant but today was horrible, attitude from window lady (I understand they were busy but dont be rude, why only two people back there when there was 4-5 hostess at the front???). Cold chicken, cold steak, cold sides, cold ribs GEE THANKS

We ate here on a Sunday late afternoon and it was quite crowded. The service was good, the food was good but the whole place made an impression of not being very clean to me. There was all sorts of food debris on the floor in front of and under our table and the menus, which were waiting for us on the table had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time which, even at the tail end of Covid does seem unacceptable.

Delicious steak, I wouldve loved it with a add-on topping like butter grilled onions or garlic. Cooked accordingly. Place is very nice! Great customer service. Sangria Margarita was good too. Their steak sauce is okay, A1 is still better. Atmosphere was too loud for me. The music is loud but its okay because you wont have others listening to your conversations. Good crowd and service was still timely!

3 strikes. This last time our steaks were burnt. We wanted MR. Our daughters speak was rare. The veggies were so soggy and over cooked they fell apart by picking them up. The rattle snake bites werent completely cooked as they were still cool inside. Super disappointed in this roadhouse

Stopped in about 1600hrs on Sunday 6 February 2022 and they were busy as one would expect. Only took about 10 minutes to get a booth, the hostess was nice and everyone was welcoming. Our waitress was great took good care of us, everything from the drinks and appetizer to our meals was good to go.The waitress we had in Odessa last week could use some lessons from the waitress that took care of us on this visit.

So last night my wife and I ordered a tago order. It was a 6oz.Dallas fillet for her and a 8oz for me. Well when we picked up our food 30 min later than we were told . So we get home her 6 oz Dallas filet was 3.8 oz and my 8 oz Dallas fillet was 5.9 oz then minus another 2.4 oz of dat and grizzle on my 8 oz fillet so my 8 oz fillet ended up being 3.5 oz of acual meat. So I call down there and start explaining the situation. And befor I could finish I was told well ur going to loose some oz of juice out of ur steak. I can understand a little but not 2.2 oz out of her steak and 2.1 out of mine. That’s rediculous Needless to say I was prettyMuch told that you never get a true cut. Ok that’s fine but I paid for 8oz of meat and 6 oz of meat. So I paid for 14 oz of meat and only ended up with 6.7 oz of eatible meat. No. Deff not the case it’s fine I won’t be going back. Just everyone needs to hold these places more accountable

Absolutely l Recommend this place, the food is soo good you not disappoint l have salmon and bake potato and Green beans perfect and hot, the margarita mango is soo good too, l love everything,,very good customer service and clean place.

Our first time visit here and really enjoyed the food! Our boys suggested the place and we all absolutely loved the taste and quality of the food! Glad that we made the online reservation and when we showed up, it didn’t take even a minute for us to wait and we were given the table. I know it’s weekend and there’s a long queue waiting to be seated! Try making online reservation and save time. We will definitely visit again and would recommend to others too!

Steaks house. Good place for dinner. Nice ambience. Fantastic foods. Awesome salmons. Delicious beef steaks.

Very good food here! Chicken fried steak is huge and delicious. The burgers are a good size patty and salads can never go wrong. Service is excellent. Rolls are served as you are seated. We waited about 30 minutes arrived about 630pm. Next time I will have a cocktail see how those are! Thanks for the great service and atmosphere.

Good NY Strip steak with mushrooms and grilled shrimp. Baked potato and house salad. The drinks are a Sbriner beer and the Legend which is quite delicious.

I would come here just for the bread alone. Ribs were okay. Steak was pretty juicy . The sirloin Medium was delicious. I would recommend for the relatively low prices.
