One of the best places to grab an affordable and delicious steak in Taipei.

The steak is so hard I couldn’t swallow any of it, and it was really sour with too much vinegar. The fish stank. The peanut tastes like it’s gone off. Paid a lot of money and barely ate anything.

Very good steak house, and theyre bread rolls with butter... Incredible!

Western style steakhouse in Breeze Center on the 3rd floor. Nice Western US decor, and very popular for lunch. Wednesday sirloin steak special was perfectly cooked as ordered, but tough and not especially tasty. Probably not the best option on the menu, but the price is a bargain. The side order of rice, however, was very tasty. The ribs that my wife ordered were better, but not the best weve had. Neither of us liked the bread. It was too soft and sweet. This place is quite inexpensive for the Xinyi area, though, so if youre not too discriminating, and looking for an inexpensive meal, this may be a good choice for you. You can get a better steak elsewhere but it will be a lot more expensive. Views were nice thought.

Excellent service and good food. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the taste of all the other food on point. Great option for American food in Taipei!

Limited menu but good enough BBQ and deep fried offerings in loud, friendly Southern-themed restaurant. Music by Rascal Flatts and the like, efficient service. The bread is deadly.

The location is really easy to find just right to the corner after leaving the MRT Taipei city hall. Warm welcoming with warm bread and peanut. I ordered the combination set, sirloin and ribs topping with corn cheese and fries. Compare to other similar (TGI,Hooster)restaurants, the steak is good but it’s flavorless. The service is on the standard.

Steak is fine. But service is getting worse and worse. Been eating here as a regular for the past 2 years.No one going even slightly out of the way to make a difference.Even being a VIP for 2 years the staff checks if the VIP number is just a screenshot or you are actually logged in. No trustNot going out of my way to come back here- go to Ruth Chris instead;-)

This is basically Texas version of Fridays. Nothing taste wrong but nothing is excellent as well.

Lunch sets are a great value-around 500-700NT. You still get the rolls with cinnamon butter, shell peanuts (thankfully in a bag so they aren’t being thrown around for those with allergiesand a bottomless drink. We discovered they serve U.S. style sweet tea here-yay! I got the steak salad with blue cheese dressing and my son got bass with a baked sweet potato. The server gave him an extra serving of cinnamon butter to plop on top, which made it extra delicious!! We went around 3 PM so it wasn’t busy.

We (party of 3had dinner on Wed, 2022/01/05, evening. The restaurant was pretty busy, I presume it was due to on-going promotions. We have been eating there pretty frequently and always felt the food and service were adequate to good. This time, our first time this year, we were very disappointed. The service was rushed and some of the side dishes we ordered were missed. Worse is the 3 ribeyes we ordered, 2 medium and 1 medium-rare, all came out well done. They were sent back. However, unfortunately, the second set of ribeyes was not much better. For the medium-rare, strangely only half the steak was medium-rare and the rest was well done. Of the 2 medium, only one was cooked properly, the other was well done. Having already waited 30 mins, we decided not to send them back again and wait further.I hope this is not a new direction with offerings below their typical standard but entice customers with promotions. I remember previously the server would ask us to cut into the steak in front of him/her to check if it is the right temperature but this time this step was no longer taken.

Well worth the money. The food is amazing, the service is epic. I’ve been to similar restaurants at similar prices, and I can say Texas RoadHouse is by far a massive winner ❤️

One of my fav steakhouses I frequented in the States. Glad they have it here in Taipei. Pretty much the same in most aspects and foods as I expected. Authentic dishes. Recommended.

Love this restaurant. Its a bit pricey but you get a good feed. Free bread and nuts on the table, buy one get one free on certain drinks and delicious steak. Had the 16oz Ribeye and it was yummy. Service good and big menu. All good just a smidge cheaper I think would reflect the quality you get.

Incredible servicw by English speaking staff. Food is pricey but the serving more than makes up for it. The flavors are incredible...its definitely not watered down. We ordered the ribs-shrimp-chicken platter and everything was spot-on. Id definitely come back!

Nice free refills of salty peanuts and rolls with sweet butter. Steaks were all good, especially ribeye. Some daily specials you can check website for more info or call to check. The area we sat was a bit warm but waiters were quick to turn fan on stronger after I asked. Nice place to take kids to eat with the free peanuts and rolls. Portions are normal or average. The seat in the booths feel a bit cramped with the glass dividers during this pandemic time but they gave us extra tables and seats to spread out in checkerboard seating arrangement. Would definitely go again in the future. If you have a breeze credit card, can park in one of the breeze parking lots nearby.

Love the staff, they were so nice🥰Love the fact that they don’t have minimum order and they give you free bread and peanuts.When someone offer you something this nice without rules(minimum order), you actually want to give them more.We were actually very full and we came in for drinks but we end up ordering more than we intended to because they were so nice and generous.Definitely wants to come back next time!

This place got everything right for an American steakhouse. The bread and sweet butter and the peanuts were perfectly filling before my meal. I had my steak the usual medium. Compliments to the way the fries were cut, it was one of my favorite side dishes.The downside was the highly expected ribs which still turned out to be on the dry side even as I mentioned to the waiter I want more on the fat side.Overall it’s a decent experience for the price. But again don’t get the ribs.

(With English menuwhen u come in, they will serve warm bread and peanuts, and it’s unlimited. The food tastes good in here, and there is no problem to get English services, makes us very comfortable. As I remember, the waiter and waitress dance at 20,00, but I didn’t see this time, maybe they only make the show during the weekend (?If you come for birthday celebration, u will get a ice cream for free, and it taste super good! We do like the dinner experience!

They have an English menu and spoke English perfectly. They let me sit at a table instead of the bar even though I was dining alone. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were so yummy. The rolls are to die for, too! It is not cheap, I paid $730NT for my meal, but I think its totally worth it. They played country music and it felt like home.

Bread with the cinnamon flavor cream is refillable. Business lunch steak is quite small but tastes good. The cheese potato is a bit plain in my opinion. Pretty pricey.

Amazing American restaurant I had in Taipei, the cocktail margaritas I order strawberry favor is fantastic drink I have ever had. If you come to visit here, I strongly recommend you to order one , maybe you could try different choice like watermelon , peach...I ordered the fired chicken with potato and broccoli which are delicious.Highly recommended!! Next time I will bring other friend to enjoy the meals.

Fantastic American style steakhouse, its location has one of the best views of Xinyi Shopping District with a full-length window facing the central crossroads. Its burger is fine but not really outstanding. It’s margarita is very delightful though. Together with its friendly service and reasonable prices, I had a very pleasant meal there. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely try its steak next time!

I didnt expect the fried chicken here is so good. The steak here is good. The fried chicken is great. Crispy outside and juicy yet tender inside. I will go there just for the fried chicken again, not to mention the peanuts are good too.

Great customer service and friendly staff. Closest to American style food that you can get thus far. Awesome for birthdays and the staff does a fun country line dance every night for dinner.

They have special discount for birthday. Meat quality is good for the price.

We wanted to go to Friday but it was full that day so we "settled" and dined in Texas Roadhouse instead. No regrets. It was just as good if not better. The staff were really nice and the hospitality was on point.

The steak is perfectly cooked and are soft and tender, the pork ribs also tasty, the side dishes also delicious, love the service here. Good ambience for dinner too! We got a buy 1 get 1 set which add more value!!!

Ive been a big fan of this place since I was in US. Ribeyes are my all time favorite! Highly recommended if youre not afraid of the fat.

It’s great experience with my friend.Last week was my birthday. Serves tell me can gave me a free of the ice cream. This restaurant was not cheap. But everything was nice!(and have free peanut can on the table!🥜)

Swing by for a quick lunch and it’s actually beyond expectation. Their steak was slightly marinated and taste really good and juicy. They have lunch combo menu on week days so it’s a good deal. Bread and peanut is free to refill, good choice for people want to hang out and kill time.

This was my second visit and I was much happier this time. We were seated in the main part of the restaurant surrounded by those huge windows and great natural light which changes the feeling of the meal totally. Got the chicken, ribs, and shrimp combo and it was delicious and way too much for us to finish off. The table service was very attentive and friendly. Sudden spontaneous line dancing can breakout any minute. Be warned!

Amazingly enough meat tastes better than the one in Corona, CA. Bread on the other hand was good but not as good as the ones in the states.

Decent if somewhat overpriced food. Staff was friendly but the younger ones seem inadequately trained they had to call their more experienced colleagues to answer our questions about the menu. We did not have reservations and had to wait about half an hour for a table. Thankfully, there are massage chairs nearby (owned by a different company), which we were able to use for free while waiting.
