Teton Kitchen is on the top of my list for favorite restaurants! Have always have excellant foord and service. The sushi and thai selections are awesome. very large menu. I highly recommend!

My wife is a huge fan of Thai food and while dropping me to Amtrak Station at Depew we made impromptu dinner plans and this was our first choice. Literally 2 mins away from the station. And the food was so delicious and so well seasoned. Our server suggested new items from the menu and we were very impressed by the presentation, preparation, quality and portions of food. The noodles were cooked to perfection in the sauce definitely worth slurping. I most definitely will bring all my friends and family here over years. And this place is going in my favorites whenever I am in mood for Thai food.And wait did I tell you also serve amazing Sushi! Made fresh to order. Every bite is super refreshing and full of flavors!Next time you are deciding between Japanese or Thai, come here and get best of both worlds.In my opinion it’s a must visit if you are in Buffalo, specifically near Amtrak Station.And yes they have free parking with space for many cars.

Top favorite place to go for sushi and Japanese food. Always get at least 3 rolls for just myself. Good for dining in and take out. Even when theyre busy the wait is never very long. Staff is always welcoming. Many varieties of rolls, seafood, soups, appetizers and dinners including bento boxes to choose from. My go to soup is the miso soup, always hits the spot. Delicious Saketinis as well as wines and sake. Highly recommend to everyone

This was our first time we had eaten Thai food, our waitress was very helpful with describing food choices.

While staying in an airport hotel in Buffalo, we were looking for dinner nearby. Luckily, we found Teton Kitchen. Our Penang curry and basil fried rice dishes were both delicious. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Great service and great food!

Looks like a dive place but dont be fooled. Food is great, service is great and they are so nice. 7 layer box roll was loaded with flavor (photo attached)Love it A++

The salmon wasnt the freshest and had some skin left on the edges. The stir fried noodles were a bit wet to my taste. The sushi rolls however, were decent. Server was attentive and polite.

First time visit, and Im mad didnt do it sooner! Was an absolutely amazing and delicious lunch. I am just not experiencing with sushi, this place has amazing options for a Newby! The food came out fresh and hot. They say you eat with your eyes, you wont be disappointed in the presentation. The staff and customer service also matched the food, was wonderful! I highly recommend, and will defintely be back for more and more!

Was real good. One of the containers had opened. Did not label the containers like I asked. Food was fresh and hot.

Great food! Got the chicken teriyaki bento, which was delicious. And the Japanese iced coffee was refreshing.

I would share a picture, but it would be of an empty food container. Everything I had in my Bento box today was a 10. So well done. Will be back soon.

Be very clear and make sure they understand your order. Did a pick up order and when I got there it was wrong, pointed to it on the menu to clear it up for them. I waited 5 minutes for it to be made and they still got it wrong by forgetting the beef in the beef rice and noodle soup. The soup was pretty good nonetheless, just wish it had the meat

Owner was very disrespectful to us! He started off with “Tip” “Tip” as if we don’t understand English 😑 When he was the one who’s stuttering while speaking English (He is Asian). And then forced us to leave Tips! And told us if we ever go back there he will give us dirty food! As a owner of a restaurant in New York State by laws we don’t have to give Tips! And one of the other reviews mentioned how he will “ SPIT ON THE FOOD” if they ever go back in that restaurant because they also didn’t leave any Tips! And THE OWNER HARASSED THEM TO THEIR CAR! We are all college students! We all have college loans, car loans on top of that, we can’t even go to restaurants nowadays to eat food?!! I hope he learns his lesson one day!

The owner is soo rude and racist and was harassing us for large tips when tips are earned by the good service. NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. The avocado was spoiled and terrible. STAY away from this restaurant. He said he will split on our food and make terrible food for us next time.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Last time food was pretty spicy for my Normal order but it was still just as good.

The Owner forced us to leave Tips!! Also, he mentioned how he will remember our faces next time go there & he will give us bad quality food! I can’t believe he ruin our evening just like that! I used to work at a restaurant too, but we never forced our customers feel obligated to leave us tips! Not everyone have good job to do so! Most of us leave pay check by pay check! I hope oneday the owner realized what he did wrong today and fix his actions!

The staff was extremely helpful. We are pure vegetarian and the server really help us decide what to eat and what dish had the least cross contamination

The food is phenomenal. From the outside the place doesnt look like much, but you wont regret this place. Thai and sushi are fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are good and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend

I am super impressed with this restaurant. We were seated immediately. The waitress was super friendly and checked in on us numerous times. Our food came out extremely fast. The food itself.... Oh my.... Its likely some of the best Thai/Japanese food Ive ever had. I had the Japanese teriyaki bento box. It starts with miso soup. Which was delicious. Then it came with the California roll, rice, teriyaki chicken, salad, and more. My husband got the pork pineapple fried rice. The rice was packed with flavor and the pork was savory. My daughter got the Singapore noodles. She likes spicy, spicy food. They let her pick on a scale of 1-5 how hot she wanted the food. The 5 being hottest is what she got and it met her expectations. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Maybe its just me but this was the best sushi Ive ever had, the place is clean, the people are very friendly, the service was great and its just overall a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Teton Kitchen.

I keep remembering a few years ago when I went. The waiter and waitress never came to seat us. We waited over 10 minutes like idiots. When we left the guy working apologized and didn’t offer to seat us. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend it when there’s much better restaurants nearby. Someone asked me if Teton was any good today. Figured…. I mine as well tell other people my lousy experience with this place on Google. They must be doing something right since they’re still open. I went during lunch hours. Maybe go here for dinner but don’t expect halfway decent service. Or pretend it’s 2020 still and order take out. Honestly I would give 0 stars since I never got a chance to try the food. The wait staff didn’t see a point in seating us.

Last night, I went there for the first time in a long time with my friend. I was looking for a restaurant to eat at with my friend and my dad remembered that a couple years ago we went here and liked it. So, I took my friend to here. I can say that I am absolutely happy that my friend and I came here! I got three things, 6 pieces of avocado sushi, Garlic Sauce Tofu, and Sweet Sticky Rice! All three things were phenomenal! In particular, the avocado sushi was the best that I have ever had! The customer service was also good! I am looking forward to returning today with my twin sister to eat here!

I have stopped by here a few times while working in Buffalo. They have an interesting mix of dishes, including these amazingly good ginger wings. Everything I have tried here has been pretty good.For Buffalo, it is a pretty solid thai restaurant.

I was craving for Sushi and came across this place. I had volcano sushi and it was good. We also had Thai green curry which was extremely delicious.Try out their soft shell crab legs. You will fall in love with those.Overall the service was good and quick.

A good place to get Japanese or Thai food at a reasonable price. They dont have a delivery service so just dine in or take out.

I LOVED my experience at this restaurant. I was visiting the area and was craving sushi, so I took an Uber here. The owner was very nice, generous, and super positive. The sushi was very fresh and came very fast. The sushi was so so delicious, my friends thought it was yummy as well. The owner did not accept our $20 tip but we insisted because the service was so good. I wish I was in the area so I could eat here again.

This place never disappoints. From the great employees to the amazing food it’s always a good spot to eat. Takeout is fairly easy to order and is usually done fairly quickly. The amigos sushi roll is a must try for every person who comes here.

First time for me and my husband coming here. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in the area for sushi, bento box, Thai tea, you name it. Their menu is really good with a wide variety and the quality of the food doesn’t disappoint at all. The customer service is very friendly, definitely if back around will definitely visit. Hope this local restaurant keeps growing keeping their delicious quality of food. It’s a must to anyone new in the area trying to taste excellent food such as the one offered in this restaurant. 👌

Awesome spot, definitely recommend and eager to come back! Cool little dive. Fish tasted better and seemed more fresh than some of the larger and "fancier" places in the area. Was super busy when I visited, packed house and to-go orders going out but service was still spot on! Great selection on the menu and variety of drinks as well. Also, any place that has anime girls on the wall and in the menu is where I want to be for sure.

Ive wanted to try kimchi for so long but was too scared. It was delicious!!! Everything was so good and we will definitely be back! Kind & pleasant staff. Sanitizer on all tables was very much appreciated!

I had my fair share of sushi, scrummaging through the jungles of NYC, the culturally diverse Toronto, and even lived where they were perfected; Japan. Teton Kitchen did not disappoint when the cravings wanted a challenge. My sister and I visited on an already busy restaurant where we had to wait for 10 minutes for a table (which was fine with us since it was worth it). We were then seated and our orders were taken . We started off with karaage (fried chicken street food in Japanwith an intense but savory sauce consisting of spices, soy, and ginger. The texture and flavor were on point however, the karaage was a bit on the dry side when I’m typically used to it using dark meat (specifically thigh meat). We were also given complimentary miso soup which in my opinion, always leave lasting impressions. For our main dish, we decided to opt for the love boat for 2 since we couldn’t make up our minds on what rolls we wanted and oh boy, we were treated with probably the best combination of sushi presented to us. We’ve had boats before, but this time it felt different. The thing about sushi and sushi restaurants you really want to keep an eye out is how they prepare the sushi. What is the rice to fish ratio? Does the color look good? Is it going to be worth it? These are all the factors we’ve kept in mind when entering every sushi establishment and Teton earned flying colors on these pondering questions. Just take a look at the pictures I’ve posted, the mix of sushi and sashimi was a display you’d see typically on a menu. The colors popped and each bite felt like you’re in an episode of Shokugeki no Soma. The fish tasted fresh, the colors were vibrant, and the boat was conquered. The experience only lasted a mere 15 minutes, but was enough to keep the smiles on our faces long after leaving. We understood why the reviews were high, we understood why the restaurant was packed, we understood why they’re still around. What we don’t understand is why they haven’t gotten a bigger place by now? But I can’t stay questioning for long, as theres a charm to the restaurant. Very reminiscent of the small bars in the alleys of Japan. The atmosphere feels cozy and the waiters were so polite and attentive. A combination of all these reasons should earn your visit. Teton knows what they’re good at, and I dare you to challenge them at it. You’d gladly lose.

Ive been to Thai restaurants in many large cities including New York, Atlanta, and Washington, DC. The food at this small restaurant was just as good. If youre shopping at the Galleria or live in the Buffalo area, this place is worth a visit.

This is the second time I have eaten at Teton Kitchen. The first time here was for a private party where I found the food and service outstanding. This visit was to have lunch. My thought was to see how the food and service would be under normal conditions as opposed to the added pressure of serving a private party. I was not disappointed. The quality of the food and service were again outstanding.We were here for lunch and ordered off the lunch menu that had a wide variety of choices and combinations. The sushi was fresh and flavorful.The nice thing they do is that as they make each sushi dish, it t is immediately delivered to your table instead of waiting for everyones dish to be completed. Some people may not like this method of serving but picture yourself sitting at a sushi bar in front of the chef. As they finish preparing each dish, they serve it, not leaving it setting out of your reach, making you wait until they make several more dishes. It should be the same if you are sitting at a table. As each dish is served, share it with others you are with then you will be ready for the next dish. Eventually you will receive all dishes you ordered, served and eaten fresh. Sushi should not be eaten rushed. Take your time and enjoy all the amazing flavors. I recommend not saturating your sushi with soy sauce. The saltiness of too much soy sauce masks the real flavors of the sushi.We had four different sushi rolls between the two of us. And all were perfect. We also ordered the Pad Thai, because all Pad Thai is not the same. Teton Kitchen made one of the best Pad Thai we have ever had. Although, most of it was brought home and enjoyed for dinner.We did however have enough room to enjoy their Tempura Cheesecake, served hot. Not only is the cheesecake inside just the right flavor but the sweet and crisp tempura batter was perfect and not over battered or greasy.There is also ample parking for the size of the restaurant. They have a full bar a variety of beer on tap and bottled, sake, wine, mixed drinks and pop (yes I call it pop, some call it soda).I highly recommend Teton Kitchen.

The service was great! The sushi was flesh and ever so tasty. We loved the green caterpillar roll. The sushi lunch special for two rolls was a great deal. We did get the box which was good too. Overall the only think I have to say negative about was the taste of the water. Loved they were GF and awesome find.

A cozy, unexpected little gem in the Cheektowaga area.I tried this place out at the recommendation of a coworker. He told me that theyre putting out some of the best sushi in the area. I was a little skeptical, since it really looks like a brick cube. I checked out other reviews and decided to go for it just for a pick up order.Despite a strange parking lot and double entrance doors on opposite sides of the building that might leave you a little dumbfounded, this place really is a treat.I was impressed! I gobbled up the 3 different rolls I had, and was ready for more. The problem was... that I didnt go back until recently. It was a holiday and we had original wanted to go to Kumo, not realizing they were closed at random hours during the day. I suggested we tried a sit down at Teton, and I am SO HAPPY we tried it! Well flavored entrees outside of the sushi, able to give enough spice in my husbands entree for him to feel it (which is always the challenge!), but of course the sushi was killer. They even had a non-seafood sushi offering (The Godzilla!that my husband enjoyed.It really doesnt have the greatest atmosphere and thats why Im downranking it, and can be quite a bit cramped if youre in there around regular lunch or dinner times, but the food trumps it all and they have a BIG menu, too. If you order soft drinks, they come in a can, so if youre a fountain drinker, you might not be a huge fan of that.For pick up/take out, things were wrapped way more efficiently than any other takeout Ive seen. No leakage, no food falling out. It was impressive. You can also order online, so if you like to avoid phone calls like me, and youre deft at maneuvering an online order system, Teton is where you want to be.

Teton Kitchen is a great local place for Thai and Japanese foods... And a mixture of others as well. Most of the time the meals are cooked well and presently nicely. Give it a try if you are around! Not expensive either.

Always good food and friendly staff. You do have to speak clearly when ordering there is a small language gap. Sushi is amazing and diners are too.I had the Perfect Storm Sushi roll(Shrimp Tempura, Avocado & cucumber Inside, Hot Chili & Spicy Tuna On Top). While expecting an little more kick it was amazingly flavored and crunchy.Dinner was Japanese Yakisoba fried egg Noodle. Perfectly fried and came out steaming. Had them spice it to 3 (scale of 1 to 5so it had some tingle but wouldnt make you sweat or hurt.

The best Thai and Asian restaurant in the region. I cant believe how many delicious items they have on their menu. All the dishes have its own special sauce that has an amazing distinct flavor. Definitely would come back to try out everything here. Rocket shrimp and pad Thai is the best.
