Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall - Beer hall in Atlantic City, United States
Have eaten here a few times. I like their outdoor area, when its not too hot outside. Other times the inside is way too loud when its packed. However, their food is fantastic. We give high praise to the New York Dog and the Mexicali Dog!My husband says the New York Dog is the BEST hotdog hes ever had. Homemade kettle chips are also praiseworthy. Oh, and I do love their giant pretzel.Interestingly enough we always end up having business meetings in the outdoor space. One of the best parts is their Monopoly based murals in the garden!
Charming location in a quieter part of town. Entertainment outside on a Thursday night in October. Great staff.
Fantastic range of mysterious beer (to an English visitor anyway!). Friendly staff and food was pretty good to help the beer...
Slammin food, reasonable prices, need another pit or two, one ain’t cutting it now that the weather is cooler, but overall, great experience.
I’ve get here to drink some good beer. Staff is super nice and helpfull. Beers - I think that everybody will find something for drink. But there are not enough infos about those beers
My favorite bar in Atlantic City! The food selection could be better but the burgers are awesome and the selection of craft beer and options for beer flights is perfect. They did really step up their brunch too.
Been there twice in two days. Friday night waiter was fantastic. Engaging, informative, and attentive!! The Saturday afternoon waitress not so much. Little pricy but it is Atlantic City so...but I still TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!
Such an amazing establishment! The employees were amazing! My HH Burger was great! The chicken nuggets was on point! The fries were hot and fresh! Definitely will be my go-to spot when returning to the city!
Great food, wide selection of draught beers. Happy hour options are great! (really enjoyed nuggets and my friend loved the ribs). We had Teddy as a waitress and she was fantastic - told us about the murals, recommended foods and drinks, and was otherwise friendly and helpful
I had high hopes for this spot. Nice outdoor patio and live music, but the food was very disappointing. My friend ordered mussels that smelled terrible. Our salads were soggy and had too much liquid and the fries were mediocre. Best thing was the tater tots.
Really terrible food. Also, the mussels smelled so bad the next table over thought the toilet was leaking. If you end up here, nibble on tater tots and hit the road.
Great space for drafts and eats. Friendly and quick service. Had Angry Cauliflower, Wings, Phish Tacos, and Shrimp Ramen. All dishes were great. Definitely recommend trying this place. We will be back.
Worst Chicken sandwich of my life and I wasnt the only one. Me and 5 buddies ate here on 8/21/22 for supper. Had the wings which were respectable. There was not 1 other person in this place and we could not get a refill of our drinks at all. 3 of us ordered the chicken sandwich and literally could not bite through it because it was so tough. I have never had a worse sandwich and it was REALLY SMALL regardless of bad taste. Took forever to get the check and server/cook was not enthused to be there waiting on us. I leave mostly positive reviews, but this was my first 1. Total bill for 6 people was also over $350 with drinks so it is not cheap. We will not be back.
Love this place, outside tables & live bands. Come here every time were in AC. Great beer options plus bartenders may make their own concoction
Great food, Nick was awesome! Definitely recommend for quick bites and good eats.
Waitress didn’t seem to know many details about the menu and they forgot the bacon in our bacon wrapped hotdog. Also ran out of fish on a Saturday so two of the menu items were unavailable. But tasty otherwise. Also made it seem like it came with french fries or tots but they were added on the receipt so okay. Just some miss communication.
Excellent food, including the largest crock of clam chowder ever. Excellent, mostly local beer list. Great atmosphere and fun staff.
Excellent wings & mac & cheese. Fun atmosphere! Great Happy Hour specials!
Great place if you want tasteless spoiled food! The watermelon and kale salad is literally just watermelon and kale and nothing else. The crab cake bowl and is two decently sized crabs cakes on a bowl of quinoa, corn and edamame. My quinoa smelled like something you left in the fridge for over two weeks and was clearly spoiled. When I mentioned it to the wait staff she told me I must be smelling something different. I told her I’m well aware of what spoiled food smells like but she didn’t care. $25 for a bowl of old spoiled food isn’t my idea of a good time.Eat at your own risk because they don’t care.
Great beer garden, well priced, my fish sandwich is perfect, and the band is shredding.
Had my 40th birthday party next door at Bar 32. Then continued the little after party at the Tennessee beer hall. Definitely nice set up. Can enjoy inside or out. Lots of places to sit down and tons of drink selections. My friends all ordered food, (I didntbut no complaints, they liked everything. Had corn hole and later a band played. Inside tons of art work to look at plus free parking across the street. All in all really a great day. Was happy to have stumbled upon this hidden gem.
Vibes were great, food was delicious and customer service was out of this world. Thank you for the experience, will be back!
Been here twice now when visiting friends in Ventnor City and both times were so.much.fun. We did brunch here for the first visit and it was in the cooler months, so we enjoyed sitting around the fire and eating our breakfast sandwiches. Second visit was even better, as it was a perfect evening in early June. We drank delicious beers, had a casual and tasty dinner while listening to the love band and then finished off the night dancing to the DJ who came in after the band. Im pretty sure this will be a must-do spot every time Im in town!
A local guy recommended this place and said they have some of the best local food in town. He wasn’t lying. I had the chicken sandwich and it was killer. It had such a strange seasoning with a marinated onion on it. They also have like 40 beers on tap and more in bottle and can. Three thumps up.
Wish I could rate this place 500 stars. Great place with great food and beer menu. Burger was awesome!! Not to mention, Keith was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to visit here again!
Love this place and selection of beers and cocktails. The staff is great. One suggestion would be to add crackers, nuts, dried fruit to the meat and cheese tray. Or can have selection of items to choose from. Will return soon since atmosphere great.
Stopped there today just as your art event was finishing up. The food was great but I didt appreciate the men at the table next to us whipping out a joint and smoking it right out in the open. Its legal now but not in public and certainly not in a restaurant. Nobody stopped them. I told the waitress when I left.
Lindsey was absolutely amazing as our server. We were celebrating our college graduation on a weekday in Atlantic City and she made sure that we had an amazing experience at this bar. She served us her first ever buckets and so many shots/jello shots and if you come here definitely ask for her. She was even kind enough to take pictures with us and tell us about her story. We loved this place.
I absolutely love it here, I went inside and I ordered their cider that was on tap with a delicious Phish taco !!! The decor is out of this world is so edgy/ intriguing.
Nice selection of beers and a decent happy hour. The actual menu may have better food but the happy hour burger was good. The chips and dip was basically kettle chips with sour cream.
Our #1 choice in the Orange Loop!! They always treat us wonderfully and the food is legit. Try a burger and tots, you wont regret it. Shout out to Andrew, Miriam, Lindsey, Nick + the other servers who have taken such good care of us.
This place is great! They have a huge, huge selection of drafts and cans. I tried so many unique beers. We went during the Saturday happy hour and was so happy we did. We also split a breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. This would be great to visit in the summer.
We decided to swing by for lunch, food was decent Tater tots with lobster was good only issue was the lobster sauce was cold. Lobster roll was good bread very soft. Wings were great too. Chill atmosphere.
We have been there before, but we recently went for their fall dinner and it was even better. These events have limited tickets and they pair seasonal food to seasonal beers. It was a great time. 5 beers and 5 courses for $55/pp. Tennessee Ave Beer has so many beers on tap, cans or bottles, theres so much to try. They also have a full bar for those who dont drink beer. They also have a full kitchen so you can have lunch or dinner and on sundays they do brunch. They have inside and outside seating. Fire pits and a tented area. Great place and theyre next to other restaurants and bars to check out as well.
It was my husbands birthday. We were looking for a different restaurant and accidentally ended up at the beer hall. We had a blast. We enjoyed ourselves that night
When u tell u the service was on point them girls were awesome.... delicious lobster roll worth every penny and that mint mule omg omg our waitress was amazing and made sure we was well takin care of the hole time
So much fun, food and drinks were great. Went alil early in the evening b/c we had kids wit us.Music was great, along with the atmosphere.
Great atmosphere! Fun! Relaxed! Great food! Great beer!
Just a few steps off the boardwalk, this spot features a spacious and well-appointed outdoor bar and dining area, as well as indoor seating. The food is fresh and solid, the beer selection is impressive, and the service is phenomenal. Would be a great place to bring a group for an outdoor hang. The atmosphere and quality are leagues ahead of many of the “top” casino dining and bar options.
Excellent bar place for food. The lobster tater tots and soy wings were excellent for starters. The onion burger as well as the kimichi chicken sandwich were great entrees and will definitely fill you up! The waiters there are very nice and provide good service throughout your visit. A must try when in Atlantic City!
I came here for lunch. It’s a great chill spot that’s close to the beach & boardwalk. The back patio has a nice breeze from the ocean, and we played a game of connect four. Beer, food and $5 Jello Shots were all very tasty!
Great atmosphere. I love that they are serving flights. They had a wide variety of craft beers on tap. They also have some regular classic beers. They had a pineapple cider that was fantastic and i would probably return just to have that again on tap. There is something for everyone in terms of drinks. The pretzel was hands down one of the best soft pretzels I’ve ever experienced at a beer hall. It was huge, soft and buttery. Definitely worth the price. The lobster tater tots were also good and came with a lot of meat. The only negative is there’s not a lot of space indoors and we were seated by the door so it was chilly. Can’t wait to come back!
The online ordering system was pretty decent but when we placed our order the confirmation screen showed one less item than what we had ordered but the correct order total cost. We tried calling but the number wasnt working so we were a bit worried. We decided to go and pick up the food and deal with any issues if any. The order was fine and complete and we brought it back to our hotel to eat.The fish sandwich and burger were HUGE and very generous in portion size. I really enjoyed my fish sandwich and all the accompaniments it came with. The fish stayed crispy even after traveling from the restaurant back to the hotel - that was impressive. The burger was large and cooked perfectly; my husband was pleased. I feel like the lobster tots did not travel as well and got kinda soggy. This could have been prevented if the restaurant poked some holes for the to-go box I think. The flavors were good and we did get chunks of lobster which was nice. The wings were good and the sauce for it was quite tasty. Overall, good beer hall type food experience. I likely wouldnt go back again as the food was good but nothing extraordinary - Id likely want to try another restaurant next time Im in the area.
Great local bar with excellent beer list and maybe even better food. The chili and Smokestack Lightning burger were the bomb! Was shocked that they had beers from the Alchemist, been looking for Heady Topper and Focal Banger for a few years and to stumble on them both here was awesome!
Had a so much fun! There was some fair so vendors were there. Bought some wax melts. We took a group picture in a mirror they had set up there. My boyfriend and I got hot dogs. I got the new York dog with mustard and sauerkraut he got the one with avocado and salsa both were amazing!
Went for the Oktoberfest experience. We had a blast. Sadly most of the German menu was sold out. Thankfully the regular menu is still yummy. Would have loved to try the potato salad though.
My daughter didn’t like the lobster roll, she thought it was stringy and dry. But I had the smokestack lightning and it was incredible! I didn’t realize it had a double patty, so I had leftovers. The house potato chips were delicious and covered with Old Bay. Fries were mediocre. Their pickles slicds were also thick and really tasty. The ambiance was amazing and they enforced face masks when moving around the patio (except if seated at your table).
We hosted an event here (and 3 other Tennessee Ave Spotsfor the NJ Conference on Tourism. The staff and the beer could not have been better! There were enough varieties of beer to keep everyone interested. It was good enough to keep everyone coming back for more. It was just amazing.
Very good experience in there. Good customer service. Friendly waiters. Welcoming atmosphere. Free movie on Thursdays. Delicious hot dogs and fresh beer. Also they have pac man game machine ;)
Great spot for beer & food!! Recommend the pretzel app, I know the price is ridiculous but it is buttery goodness. Wide choice of beers on the menu, key is first page of beer is on tap unless crossed out, second page is all those highlighted are available. Will be back again.
