Offbeat brewpub in a renovated firehouse with craft beers & finger foods, plus live music & a patio.
My first time here, great drinks, great vibes by the fire outside.
Had the pleasure of visiting on our way through Flint! The bartender (Sethwas fantastic and the atmosphere is cool AF. Solid variety on tap (including cider, seltzer, and non-alcoholic root beer & cold brewand the taco truck was AH-MAZING. They treated our dog like patio royalty too. Must stop if you are in the area!
Great beers here and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back.
Came here five years ago, the beer is even better now. Waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Outdoor area is nice to relax or even have kids run around. Dog friendly. Impressively cheap stop too for 2022! If you’re nearby, stop in.
Nice place for a local brew. I would recommend.
Great place with lots to do while you drink their awesome beer!We also stayed as Harvest Hosts. Huge space in back.Really enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff, too.#MapYourJourney
Friendly staff, great beer, cozy atmosphere, great outside seating area, and the food truck is amazing! You must try this place if youre in the Flint area.
Great beer. Love the atmosphere.
We really loved the outdoor space and the Cherry Bomb Cider.
Friendly, laid back, great nachos, fabulous beverages and fun trivia!
Bartender was friendly, delicious brews. Great price for a flight. They even offer cold brew and kombucha on tap! Nice seating area outside. I thank Jesus for this place!
Place is amazing! The atmosphere is super. The food was out of this world! And again this evening was amazing.
Small local brewery with a big attitude, a great staff and lots of friends. You have to visit tenacity...
This place made a great special event venue! It was a lovely day outside so our guests were able to enjoy the outdoor seating and fire pit. The bar service was excellent (thanks, Andrewand I truly believe that Tenacity helped make our special event more special!
Hadnt been here in a while and will not let that happen again. The Almond Joyous Imperial Stout was delicious, though I sensed a touch of cherry!
Such a great place! Old fire station, great staff and fine local brews. Staff is the best. Food truck whether be tacos or pizza always very good. Definitely worth a stop.
We are avid fans of breweries and love trying craft brews of all types. I bought the 2022 HopPassport, so while in the area I searched for local breweries and fountain Tenacity. Very close to downtown Flint, it looked promising from the street. The inside is quite choppy instead of a larger tap room they had several small nooks. Unfortunately for us the taste of the beer was really off. My wife had an IPA I had an Amber both tasted funky. It says something when we both dont finish our beer. . Maybe its just not for us, will not return if in the area.
Beer & Vehicle City pizza excellent! Topped with delicious Hot Honey, YUM!
Great beer, friendly staff. We didnt eat here but the pizza smelled and looked delicious! Easy parking and relaxing ambiance. Well be back!
Been going here on and off since they opened. I even had my retirement party here a few years ago. Unique atmosphere with great micro brews and friendly service. You can even go outdoors when the weather permits.
Great drinks, atmosphere, and people.
Awesome beers and a great spot to hang out and catch up with friends. Right in downtown Flint near the Flint River Trail... so bring your bike and get a pint afterwards.
My alumni group held an event here last night and it was so successful! Great atmosphere, live music, taco truck, and fun people!
I love it there! I dont really drink but the have amazing root beer and ice cream bars. There is also a taco truck that is awesome! You can sit on the lawn or in the building. Overall its a perfect experience.
As usual. Wonderful night in the beer garden.
New favorite of Flint! Fries and queso cheese from the taco truck were yummy and the tacos were delicious!! Got the ckucker, the original, and the oinker, they all had a zing to them, but were not hurting my mouth zing. The beer was smooth and full of flavor! Absolutely recommended!
Amazing beer and wonderful tacos. What more could you ask for?
We were traveling thru Flint and made a stop here. Even though we didnt eat from the food truck, the food looked good. I had a very nice IPA and the re was a good selection on tap.
First time I had come to this establishment. They had a live Jazz! The Milk Stout was good, but cold. Ill go back. The atmosphere was really chill.
Stopped in for a beer and a bite while passing through. Nice layout and the beer was good. Problem was with the food truck, worker took the order of the people in front of us. Then told us to hang on for a minute and left the window never to return. After 20 minutes and emptied beers we bailed, never to return
Drinks were great! Beer, cider, and homemade root beer all excellent!! Food was incredible from the taco truck associated with the brewery! Best food ive had in a long time! Megan our server was also wonderful! Cheerful, upbeat and knowledgeable!
Second visit after the initial opening. Had a flight and admittedly all of the beers were surprisingly good. Really enjoyed the Grapefruit Cider. Nice citrus bite with great carbonation. Missed the taco truck, but will definitely be back.
My brother took me here after a Michigan game. They serve all their own craft beer, non alcoholic beer and finger food. You order at the bar, take your drink or flight to a table that you choose with a number stick if you ordered food and they will bring that to you. I enjoyed all of their craft beers from the ciders to the stout. The fried chicken nachos were also very good. Food and beer is moderately priced. I’m not a fan of no table service but it might work for them. Cool, clean low lit vibe inside. Indoor/outdoor area with high top, chair, bench and picnic table seating split in multiple rooms. Patio area is has a decorative fence enclosure with a fire pit and corn hole game. Free WiFi. Lot parking. Live entertainment on evening weekends. I will return when I’m in the area.
GREAT place! Craft beer/cider selection was great and our bartender Nikki was AMAZING!! The atmosphere is good and they even have non-alcoholic drinks they brew as well! Didn’t get to try the food truck unfortunately.
This place is one brewery you need to check out in person. Tenacity has a great location, and wide selection of craft beer and craft cider, but also a craft non-alcoholic beverages as well. The tacos we had were well worth hype, as no ingredients are used sparingly.
Nice atmosphere. Good choice of beers. The taco truck was there and they were fantastic. I had a cold brewed coffee that was smooth and flavorful They also have home brewed root beer. Looking forward to going back.
It was our first time there. I love the chill vibe this place gave. A lot of different sitting areas. The Honey Blu Blu was my favorite cider. They give you free samples of their beer, ale and cider. Will definitely go back again.
Went here on a Friday night to get some tacos to go. It took almost an hour to get our food (for two peopleand it didnt seem particularly busy. Even the bar tender started to wonder what was going on. The food was great (it always is), but in addition to the wait there was a 2 to 3 year old screaming. Constantly. It seemed a little bit out of place in a bar on a Friday night. Also, the family with the kid was eating KFC, so I guess they knew about the wait.Anyway, would come here again as the food is great, but I will wait in the car for it so I can avoid a headache.
Great atmosphere! Nikki and Natalia were welcoming and gave excellent suggestions on beers offered. Tenacity is dog friendly which is a huge plus. They had treats and dog ice cream ready for your favorite fur baby. I did not sample the tacos or ice cream but the menu looked delicious. Beers are solid with a great selection of styles. Would recommend a stop here anytime youre near Flint.
Top notch craft beers brewed in house! Thoroughly enjoyed a glass of milkshake porter on my first visit. This place is truly a gem in the city of Flint, located on the outskirts of downtown. I will be back many times. Atmosphere is great as well with outside activities and a super casual lounge feeling inside. Order a taco while youre there, itll probably be the best youve ever had!
Found this Brewery while taking in "Bikes on the Bricks" event. Easy to find, clean and the food was phenomenal! I had the meatless Nacho Verde with a couple pints of the Oktoberfest brew, which was excellent!! The outdoor fire pit was a welcome addition to the outdoor seating. Highly recommend this brewery, offering great service to match the quality of this establishment!
This place is phenomenal. They have so many different options and kinds of beer, all perfectly made and you sure can tell when someone cares about their products! Also, make sure to grab some vehicle city tacos while youre here! The rooter is especially delicious, and they have vegan options!
Had a great time. Service was really good, friendly. The food truck had awesome nachos. Live entertainment was really good too. Went with a group of friends/ co-workers to do painting with a twist. I would recommend visiting the brewery.
Very nice selection of drafts. Didnt try the food but maybe next time.
This is the first time Ive visited Tenacity and it was defiantly a big contender for me. Prices are great!!! I got a flight of 6 beers and a new growler filled for just over $23 with tax, Ive never been to a brewery with such good beer at a great price. I will defiantly make the 1.5 hour trip again soon!!!
Good food (love poutine fries), awesome brews (2nd. Shift IPA), and nice atmosphere. You will love it. choices of flights or singles.
We have been coming to this brewery at least once a week for the last two years, to the point my boyfriend has a lifetime membership with their mug club. Their team up with vehicle city food truck is inspired, and suits the air of working together for mutual benefit that has kept Flint chugging along despite the ongoing water crisis. The beers are delicious- I didnt think I would ever like a stout, but the milk stout is delicious. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, and the fire pit out back adds to the low key atmosphere. This isnt a bar to get drunk. This is a place to make a new friend, reconnect with old ones, or just have a good beer and a moment of peace.
Excellent beers, great atmosphere indoors and outdoors, and very friendly staff. I recommend the Pineapple Saison if they have it on tap.
Great place!!! Super funny n nice bartender but never did get his name. Has a cool personality which we enjoyed along with my fantastic cherry bomb cider last night n my husbands milk stout. Enjoyable!! Went to soggy bottom near time u guys were closing , Nice there but not on personal level there. We will come back to see u if we r in area ever again. Ty again for the 4 hours!!
I seriously love this place! Val is such a sweetheart and has amazing customer service. The beer and ciders are great. Love the fun look and careful attention to detail in the decorations. I would love some more food options, but overall, this brewing company is top notch.
