Great craft coffee and a very knowledgeable staff. The staff is never pretentious - something I cant say about all of the other coffee shops Ive been to. Theyre always more than happy to help explain their coffees, give suggestions, and just chat about whatever.I also really appreciate (read:lovethe range of roasts that they offer. Ever since I started driving the 20 minutes out of my way to shop here, Ive come to understand that the "medium" and "light" roasts I was drinking were actually more like dark to medium. So happy that I now actually know what I like and that I can reliably get it here.Cheers!

Such a cute little shop! A little hole in the wall near downtown Plainfield and it was adorable! The coffee was great and I loved the decor. Definitely coming back here. I had the Island Mocha and my friend had the Conquistador. Both were delicious!

Best coffee in Plainfield, Joliet or Shorewood! They know how to roast and brew!

Without a doubt, they have the best coffee and latte Ive ever had.They are big coffee nerds and it shows in what they make. Id recommend trying whatever coffee you order without a sweetener first.Its a real chill place and the staff has always been friendly.

HANDS DOWN *the* best hot chocolate I have ever tried. Let me preface by saying I am not a fan of hot chocolate. It has too much sugar and typically tastes awful.I ended up having to finish my children’s hot chocolate since they’re too little to do so themselves and I didn’t want to be wasteful (typical mom thing to do). I went bug eyed on how delicious it was!The next morning I went to 10 Drops again with my sister. I was thrilled that my daughter asked for the hot chocolate again (knowing I will have some leftover). My sister, who isn’t a fan of hot chocolate in general either, was floored on how delicious the hot chocolate at ten drops is!Their honey and lemon (with almond milk substituteiced coffee is 10/10.Their what’s good coffee is also good!But that hot chocolate is truly something else (in the best way possible).

Great local coffee gem close to downtown Plainfield. Cozy and casual inside seating and fresh coffee options. Definitely try their Kyoto coffee!

Phenomenal coffee made perfectly. We had a cortado and flat white. Highly recommend giving it a try!!!

Very cool coffee shop tucked away in Plainfield! I got the "Whats Good Here" latte iced with almond milk, it was delicious! The barista made someones latte with swan art and I snapped a picture of it. Fun spooky vibes, lots of skulls. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because it was pretty pricey for such a small drink.

Best coffee roaster and cafe I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking at. Local folks that know their beans and source ethically. All of the baristas are well-trained on making good coffee.

First time at this coffee spot.Live 3 minutes away from the place and surprised haven’t been here before.Really cool interior and both our coffees were great tasting, would definitely visit this place again.(Bring multiple masks with you and put a few on, otherwise no service and you will be looked at like you walked in naked. After you order of course, you will be allowed to take it off and actually even drink it without a mask on)Would love to try the brewery next to it too.

Coffee is roasted in house. Its amazing. Not a big drink menu but great Lattes. You can buy whole beans by the pound, or they will grind it for you. You need to try this small business and support them.

First of all, they were playing some vinyl!! The coffee is very good! They were selling their burlap coffee bags to raise money for charity! Service was top-notch! The atmosphere was warm, inviting and very comfortable‼️Off The beaten path but worth it✅

I absolutely love this place!!! I am not an the biggest coffee drinker, but considering I grew up in a house hold obsessed with the stuff and I worked at 2 coffee shops... I know a bit about the stuff, lol.I love the aroma, but still have trouble drinking it black. Lattes for me all the way! They have really great roasts and have wonderful lattes. I try and make it there every other week since they are nowhere close to where I live.So happy my friends recommended trying them out! Super grateful that they stumbled on the place picking up a brewing kit near by. I love their atmosphere and their staff. I have been coming here for almost 3yrs now. Definitely one of my favorite weekend chill spots.

A good coffee shop. The espresso and chocolate chip cookie is wonderful. Prices are well considering that I paid just under $5 altogether. The overall vibe had a nice home feel to it and felt like everyone knew each other. This shop has its charm. I feel like this is the best coffee shop in Plainfield!

Was brought in by some friends today, had heard of this place but never knew where it was. The iced americano was *incredibly* smooth, no burnt taste in the espresso at all. I enjoyed an oatmeal cookie, too, and was curious of the other baked goods. I may grab a bag of coffee when I next visit.Something I particularly liked about this coffee joint was the atmosphere. The seating arrangements were funky, ranging from simple chairs and tables to a victorian looking couch, and there were board games available.

When I visit family in Plainfield, I make sure to get my fix of Ten Drops coffee! They are definitely a high quality artisanal coffee shop and one of a kind in the area. I highly recommend supporting these folks!

What a wonderful atmosphere. The batista was amazing, knowledgeable, non-judgmental and sweet. She helped me customize my drink to my food sensitivities. She checked to make sure my daughter could have coconut since I was allergic and made sure her hot chocolate was a good temperature for a 2 year old. There was fun decor my daughter and I loved to explore and lots of board games. We felt very comfortable on our little date this morning. Will be back.

Oh my god its so good, really incredible third wave coffee. Did not expect coffee this good so far outside of a metro area. As good as any upscale coffee Ive ever had.

We LOVE this place. Some of the best coffee around. The Conquistador and the French toast are our favorite. We also buy the beans to make our own. The baristas are very very friendly and we love when they are playing heavy metal. 🤘🏼😁🤘🏼

Ten Drops Coffee has very much earned a 5 star rating. Mostly because the very knowledgeable man serving my coffee knew exactly what he was doing. The barista was very sure of his coffee and I appreciated the confidence of the quality.The variety is slim pickins here, but they are very particular with complementary natural flavors.The inside is unlike any other cafe I’ve seen so far. It is very open and warehouse-like, but welcoming nonetheless.However, the music was so faint, whereas if it was a little louder and upbeat I am sure the entire atmosphere would be unbeatable.Overall, the quiet little establishment with very high quality coffees win 5 stars from me.

The coffee here is incredible. Absolutely no question about that. They also have what are probably the best pastries Ive had in the states-when theyre fresh. We had an apricot pistachio danish and a chocolate almond croissant Saturday, and I was blown away. However, we got another on Sunday and I could tell just from picking it up that it was from same batch as the previous day. Still a really tasty treat due to the amazing filling, but the pastry itself was hard and without crisp or flakiness. If youre going to sell day old pastries, be transparent about it. Still overall a delicious experience and well definitely be back. Now I know to ask when the pastries are from!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Knowledgeable baristas who prepared the coffee at just the right temperature with full flavor. I also bought a bag of their coffee to take home and was very happy with the beans.

First of all, I am not a coffee drinker. I have had five cups of coffee ever. But four of them were at Ten Drops, and the first I liked! My SO is very into coffee and convinced me, thanks to this place. The last one I got was the French Toast Latte, and it was fantastic.Their coffee is really good. But their customer service is even better. They are what barristas are supposed to be and super helpful. They also toast their own coffee as well and it is always new and fresh. It is a great place.During COVID, they are practicing very safe practices, have to order over the phone and they walk it to your car. You can sit outside and drink it there or around the corner at Werkforce.The owners are present often, as it is a small time operation. Very friendly!Highly recommend for both bags of whole bean coffee and for take out!

Fantastic coffee shop! The inside (when openis comfortable to do some work or chat with others. The owner and staff have always been extremely helpful and gracious. The amount of information provided on the different coffees (in the shop or on social mediahas really helped increase my knowledge and branch out to try things I would not have previously. Really appreciate the efforts to keep things going through quarantine with 100% curbside service.

This place is a respite for the coffee lovers trudging through the poor coffee hellscape of the suburbs. We joined the COVID flight of families seeking more space and one of our biggest fears about moving from the city to the suburbs was losing one of our favorite things: great coffee shops. Ten Drops delivers and then some. The drip may as well be a pour over its so good. The lattes are fantastic. And the beans... the beans are roasted with such tender loving care. We picked up a bag of the washed Ethiopia and brewed it on Chemex at home... wonderfully delightful. These people know what they are doing and will absolutely get more of my business!

The French toast latte is delicious! They brought the coffees out to the car, very easy to order online and pickup.

I found out about this place from My work associate. He loves this place and gets coffee here every week. It seems like he is getting me a coffee from here almost once a week and I ain’t complaining!! This place is a must try! Their coffee just straight is addicting and I’m a normal creamer and flavored sweetener kinda gal but this coffee there is no need! Plus I get way much more of a boost with their coffee then I do Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts. You won’t be disappointed(:

Just left this coffee shop. Stopped in for a cappuccino and ended up getting a conquistador, a sweet latte with spicy cayenne. It was delicious!

6 Stars! Ten Drops is fantastic. Ive gotten two different blends from there to brew at home and both have been amazing. The Anniversary Blend I have now is one of my favorites ever! Just opening the bag and smelling that deliciousness puts a smile on my face. Cannot wait to finish the bag to come in and try something new!I didnt think I could like this place more, but last Friday did the trick. Came in to get coffee and showed up after they had closed. Owner and some friends were in the shop and had the door open. I asked if they were open and said Id come back when he said they werent. He told me to come in, got my coffee and ground it for me.Great local business that Im proud to frequent. #BuyLocal

Great aroma on approach while they are roasting fresh coffee! Comfy and chill ambience, with fair pricing on their coffee bean options. Gem, tucked into this strip. Local brewers use their coffee in their beers!! Yum.

Just stopped in on my way to a wedding. I love visiting small coffee shops and this definitely didnt disappoint. I took one sip of my iced "Whats Good Here Latte" on the way out, and I swear you could see the wow on my face. I would have turned around to say something if not in a hurry! Definitely recommend.

I love this place! Found this coffee shop on my way to Kansas City. The girl working was so knowledgeable and friendly! The coffee is so smooth! They use Kalona cream which is organic and so good! First coffee shop Ive seen that also uses organic cream along with organic coffee. Definitely will be back!

By far the best cafe Ive been to. And the staff here are THE nicest people. Theyre very knowledgeable on their coffee, quick service, all around nice environment.Drinks to definitely have; conquistador, french toast latte, island mocha, and the rock lobster.

Really nice coffee shop that was a bit of a surprise in Plainfields Warehouse District. It was a bit empty when I was here, but that was on a Saturday morning with pretty ugly weather, so thats completely understandable. The shop is set up with some comfy couches and chairs facing one another, a long table with a stack of board games, and a bar where several patrons were enjoying coffee and chatting with the gentlemen behind the calendar. All in all, a friendly place and very good coffee!

Stopped in today and so glad I did. I had the Kyoto cold brew (black as it should be enjoyedand it was very flavorful and I could taste the different coffee notes. I purchased a bag of Honduras beans and had them grind it for my at home cold brewing experience. Hopefully it is just as tasteful as what I was served today.I wish they had food/pastry items to go along with the amazing coffee. Hopefully soon they’ll introduce simple food options but I’m ok with waiting for expertise and quality.

I give 5 stars for the very friendly service and a nice place to hang-out with friends, but they still have a lot to learn to properly brew good coffee. My latte was lukewarm at best that I could finish in 10 sec. Why? Because the milk was not steamed to the right temperature. There are scales on the table but nothing was measured. There are actual ratio of water and beans to make a good taste cup of coffee just like chemistry experiment. You cant just eyeball the measurement, and you cant really do taste test unless you can brew each cup consistently.

Stopped in here on Saturday around 1:30. I had heard about this place a couple months ago and had been wanting to give it try as Im an avid coffee drinker. No wait as there were no customers other than myself. The 2 guys were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their product and coffee in general. Great experience. Bought 2 different roasts based on workers recommendation and they do not disappoint. Will definitely recommend this place to others and will be stopping here every 2 weeks to pick up fresh beans.

What an awesome place for good coffee. These guys know their stuff. They roast their own and have no problem explaining where the beans come from or how they did it. This is not a Starbucks so dont expect to be in and out in 2 min. Good coffee takes time. Bring your own mug.
