Fried chicken and burgers are given a vegan makeover at this buzzy, contemporary takeout locale.
I had the parmesan chicken wings which were delicious beyond description.
Nice food but very terrible when ordered for delivery - ordered twice, both times cold food with the second time half the meal missing!
Non meat fast food. Chips are nice a crunchyThe burger was ok my dad had a drink that tasted of nothing I think it was a cherry soda not sure, they take no cash, very limited seating for dine in shop very well kept staff friendly ready to help. It’s worth a try if your in the areaThank youAjla-Rae
We carried out recent works at this site, however they failed to pay for our services. I have been chasing the outstanding invoice for quite some time and as a small business we are very disappointed with Temple of Seitans attitude towards us. I have tried to contact site to get payment, to no avail. We are very disappointed. We would like to let other businesses know before they carry out any works at this site.
Order system is a bit frustrating as you can only order through one touch screen. Food is OK but we both found the seitan to be a bit doughy and undercooked. The wings were the best thing. Staff dont talk to you or say hi or anything and theres only two tables in the shop.Had been really looking forward tobtryingvthis but could have have been better all round and very expensive for what we had.
I can’t speak highly enough of Temple of Seitan, they are just 100000000% SPECTACULAR. The BEST VEGAN FOOD ON THE MARKET. Love them dearly and staff are always so sweet and amazing!
Got the large popcorn bites which tasted good, but the portion was so small for how expensive it was that I was left still hungry. Disappointing, as I remember the portions being much bigger.
Burger was mostly bbq sauce and very little content otherwise. Woman who served us whispered my name so couldn’t tell she was calling us and Chips burnt, overall a bit of a let down! I love a temple burger and have been going to the other branches for ages, but this one needs looking into.
Always the best vegan chicken in london. Hands down. Got to be accompanied by the gravy.
If i could give this place 0 stars I would. The vegan Mac and cheese was very poor quality, it tasted like absolutely nothing. The seitan in the burger was really small as I expected it to be hand cut.On top of that Customer service was incredibly poor.
Tried the place as an alternative for my son as he is allergic to diary and vegan is always an option...he loved it, He loves the burger and sides. We are regular now.
The one in Camden is still pretty good, but I just visited this one and it seemed a bit sad - bought 4 wings which were much smaller than they used to be and fairly tasteless.
Best vegan take away. Good value for VG chicken and mac and cheese.I usually get the bucket of 12 piece chicken really good for value.
Came here last Friday and was served by Marta who was amazing - thank you!
Vegan paradise - freaking delicious ♥️
Wanted to try this place out as Ive heard so much about it. The chips are great the sauces are nice too. Im not really a fan of the texture of the chicken but flavours were great.
Venez en France SvpppppCome to France plzzzzzBest place in London (the world?for vegan fried Chicken, booked my trip with only one thing in mind, going to temple of Seitan 😍
An amazing vegan experience! The vegan garlic parmesan wings are to die for! Rhey really got the texture right! Its a must visit! Staff a lovely and its got a great variety.Shame there are no dine in options :(
First time coming. The chefs, Labanya and B, know exatcly what theyre doing and it shows. Professional, friendly and helpful in the recommendations. And the food was outstanding and filling. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely go back. Keep up the good work:)
Underwhelming, this is the second time I’ve had a burger and wings from the Temple. I’d assumed that the first time I’d had it, in lockdown a while back, it was so so through some sort of lack of ingredients due to the pandemic. But no, it’s just pretty average and bland - gave my partner, who is also vegan, bad tummy trouble.Think we’ll stick with ethiopian food for tasty takeaways.
A bit of a wait but totally worth it - the food is great. Fast food feel but not too oily, great taste and texture. Range of options to suit every taste.
Very bad online service. Amazing food but I’m waiting for a hour to have food deliver to my house… I live super closed by. Ridiculous not even a phone call or a phone number to call to
Delicious. Flavourful vegan wings and burgers. More recommended vegan restaurants are on my blog "Gone Sun Where"
I came several times to the temple.Space is tiny, only a couple of tables outside to eat.Staff are super friendly always.Burgers are simply amazing, the best vegan burgers i have tried. Also a must try: vegan mac n cheese. Just delicious and with crispy fake bacon on top.I can’t wait to come back!
Great food, very popular vegan fast food- tasty, nice staff. The most annoying thing is the app to order food as one has to manually enter card details. If this has changed now I will update review with joy as its a great place
I love this place! Delicious vegan burgers that are so good. I love the Buffalo one.
Really good variation of vegan options, flavour on the other hand was a bit lacking… expected more from a vegan only restaurant. Staff however were lovely and friendly.
Must rate this brand for what it is, the best makers of seitan in town.Purely old school tasty fast food, but vegan to the core.Portions are quite filling and waiting time could be long if you catch busy peaks.
The service is incredibly bad! I ordered my food around 7pm and expected my food to deliver latest 8:30pm which is still a very long waiting period however my order came at 9:30pm!! I was also fasting so i couldnt even open my fast until my food arrived. The food came cold, i ordered hot wings, animal snack pack, temple tots and neshvile hot (burger- hot wings and neshvile hot were overly spiced (and i like spicy but it wasnt a nice tastethe only thing that tasted good was the animal snack pack but that came cold too.
Great food but takes 1 hour to order food. I went to the store to find out you have to download an app to order, then it takes about 14 mins to set up in the app. It is ridiculous i got here at 8.08pm left at 8.48pm just for a burger and chips. You need to sort yourselves out
Orderd food at 7pm its 9clock still not arrived no contact. The time is constantly updating will never order again from here I can understand 30mins but its been over 2 hours 30mins and still waiting for a delivery ??
The food is really great, but they cant seem to get the service and delivery right. Time and time again the food arrives with items missing. And when this happens there is no way of contacting them and to ask to send out the missing bits. Really disappointing and unfortunately I wont be ordering again.
Delicious flavour!!!! The chips were spectacular! Would eat this again no problem at all. Even though flavour was spot on, the texture did not do it for me. The "bacon" is quite rubbery and the "chicken" reminded me of those tofu bits you get on Chinese restaurants. Highly recommended.
Id like to think of this place as a kind of pioneer in vegan fast food. It used to be crazy busy when it first opened up as there werent a lot of these places around but the bubble has now burst and there is a lot more availability of vegan fast food available. I think whilst they got the look right for their vegan chicken, taste and texture still need to be improved. It can be done as subway have recently proved. Their mock beef and bacon in their burgers are much more tastier and also look the part so this is my usual now when I order from here. Its a bit of a shame that rather than be freshly cooked to order, they are either fully or partially cooked beforehand and then reheated in the grill. Maybe they take a long time to cook or something? Its nice that they have kept their menu short and simple but maybe if they expanded a bit into other vegan options and lower their prices slightly they might draw a bigger crowd. They can no longer rely on the fact that they offer vegan fried chicken anymore as there are plenty of other places now that do the same.

If you like some of the best tasting vegan burgers, wings and loaded fries coupled with some milk shakes; this is the place for you.
Absolutely the best vegan fried food. Its fried chicken style, similar to a well known fast food chain.if you are recently vegan or vegetarian and fancy a alternative to fried chicken then this is the place to go!
Great vegan fast food. Milkshakes are amazing. My fav burger is the temple 😋
After standing outside and fighting with the app which I had to download first to do an order, when it was done I got no notification to say my food was ready so I went in to ask and it was sitting on the bottom shelf waiting for me to collect. If you are gonna make an app, make it work
Need to download the app, make a registration, impossible password, put the card details... the process It just soooooo long and annoyingLike... I just want some chicken, its not rocket science.Chicken is ok, very much oily. Burger was delicious though
Visited this eatery over the weekend. Covid secure with hand santising station at the entrance and no dine-in as the seating area is confined. The food was exceptional as well as the service. I had the animal snackbox that was yummy. I heard a lot about their food and so decided to try it. The experience was a perfect harmony of balanced flavours. I highly recommend them for Vegan food.
Honestly a fail try to reproduce good fast food with seitan. Far from being tasty and bites have a weird texture.I already had a lots of vegan options far more tastier.
Best vegan burgers, can easily compete with real meat. I m no veggie, but thats proper good stuff.
Drove from Brixton to Hackney for my favourite popcorn Sietan to be told you can’t just walk in and buy food anymore. 😥 I would have to stand outside on the hottest day of the year, download app, register my details on an unsecured server.... then order, then collect food.I’m avoiding until this this pandemic is over.
My all time favourite place. I drive 40 minutes from Romford to hackney for this. If you are a life long vegatarian like me, and have never experienced fried chicken before, this will blow your mind. Fresh, perfectly cooked food and the most delicious chips that taste like chips and have not had a chemical bath. Completely guilt free vegan fast food. I could drive up there now just thinking about it.
Best Vegan burgers in town, also has two other branches in LDN,enjoy ! 🤩
Very good option for vegan burger. Tasty and crunchy saitan. The fries are also great.
Walked thinking it was a burger place as in beef burger but its all vegetarian. Vegan lettering very small on sign. However, it was the best vegetarian burger Ive ever had...not worth £6 though. Chips portion stingy and too salty. Eating sala filthy...hairs on tiles and just looks like they never clean.
Such a rip off. Barely even filled the chips halfway and when I asked for it to be filled with a few more the staff were rude and told me to bring it up with the owners who “tell them to fill it halfway”. Complete deference and poor service.
Nice staff. Small place. Nashville hot burger was very good but not the best vegan fried chicken burger Ive had. You can tell it isnt chicken but for example the KFC vegan burger you cant tell the difference. That aside was very good. Milk shake was excellent and chips were out of this world.
