Ancient place with history items inside. Small but worth to visit.

The place is always full of tourists.Its attractive for photography, as you can see. If you are in Pula, do not skip it.

Picturesque ruins. We got up early to catch the morning sun on the columns, less people too at that time. Well worth the effort if youre an early riser!

A lot of history and best to visit early in the morning when the square is empty, otherwise please be patient if you want to take a great picture. Beside the Colosseum, fortress this square and the temple are a must see in Pula.

Such a nice monument to see. During summer, there is always some kind of manifestation in front of the temple! You can check the temple from all sides.

Nice place, its very historical and it looks like an ancient Greek or Roman temple. But in my opinion paying to go inside is a waste of money.

The Temple, and the square in front of it, are a must see in Pula! It has history, it is spacious and right in the middle of the rustic part of the city, often hosting events like concerts, movies, dancing or gladiators.

There is nothing special inside maybe 10 artifacts from the Romean empire but the square around the location is full of life, with restaurants, cafeterias and etc. A walk to the old market is a must thing to do..

Although it being an ancient building, it isnt really special. Its nice having seen it but thats all.

A piece of roman architecture very well preserved. We arrived in Pula very early in the morning so we could not get inside. Yet the exterior looks very nice.

Lovely to see this building remained in quiet good condition in the city centre.

Very well preserved considering it is more than 2000 years old. You can get inside the temple for a fee if you want.

If you’re in Pula, there’s no reason not to go. A quick trip is all you need to see this piece of history. They even have a designated selfi-spot for those in need of a new social medial display picture.There’s a fee to go inside (a very small oneand we found this place by accident so we were unprepared to go in.Overall, it’s located in a beautiful area and what we could see through the door was also beautiful. Definitely recommend taking 20 or 30 minutes to check it out.

Placed in the city center is very nice to see it and just stay there on the stairs. Magical place !

Very detailed, dont forget to look at the flowers on the facade, beautiful. Entrance ticket costs for an adult 10 HRK, children 5 HRK (June 2022). You can find sculptures found in and around Pula inside.

Nice antique temple and square.Seem litle simillar to the Rome Pantheon but in little bit croatian way. ;-)

Much better in person than in the pictures... Interior can be quickly visited as well.

Nice historical building from 1.st century .

This is another temple built in honor of Emperor Augustus, the first leader of Rome. This Augustus Temple is located in the city of Pula, today Croatia. The Romans built this temple for almost the entire life of Augustus, i.e. from 27 BC to 14 BC. It is now one of the best preserved monuments of all the remains of the Roman Empire. Due to its almost intact condition, the temple has become a space showcasing important ancient artifacts and Roman-era sculptures.

Looks nice but not much there. We didnt bother going inside as you had to pay and it didnt seem worth it. The kind of place thats good for a photo and then move on.

This breathtaking place is beautiful from the inside and out. You can find gorgeous sculptures from the ancient times and the staff is the kindest I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Beautiful temple located in the main square/old forum. Entry is included in the Pula card or, you can pay at the door. It looks amazing both day & night as it transforms in each setting. Highly recommend just taking time to sit back & enjoy the view, even if you don’t know the history behind it.

Forum square is not obliged to be seen on summer, but through all year.

Amazing Temple in the portside center of Pula. Its also surrounded by other amazing Roman sites.

Interesting to see and very well preserved. Certainly not of the magnitude of the Coliseum, but if in town definitely should visit.

Entrance fee: 10 Kuna I looked inside there was really nothing to see so I wouldnt pay for it, but the outside is magnificent.

For a history freaks this place is Not really interesting.. But will complete your tour..

Amazing place worth it to visit the small museum inside the price is 10 kunas for adults and 5 kunas for the students ticket, the temple, originally dedicated to the goddess Roma and Emperor Augustus, is a typical temple structure erected between years 2 BC and 14 AD .

You can get inside for small commission but there is not really much to see. Close to the temple there are some restaurants with view on the temple.

Its a nice place to spend time with a variety of restaurants right around the corner. Also for people buying gifts and souvenirs for their loved ones back home, there are a lot of souvenir shops near the Temple. Entry inside the temple is with tickets.

Very nicely preserved piece of history, simply beautiful, as is the entire antique plazza. Great centre point for exploration of the town. Also right place to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of well deserved coffe, beer or juice. You will without a dubt get the right feeling here - the heartbeat of the town.

Nice reconstruction of original building from Roman empire which survived centuries by conversion to church but was not able to survive WW2 bomb raids unfortunately.

Nice Roman temple, and well preserved. Museum entry is cheap, but the room is tiny and with only a few pieces of stonework to view. Better to just enjoy it from the outside.

Nice to see but not that big, entry only costs 1,30 euro (10 KRT). You will see a couple of statues and findings.

Inside the temple there are numerous statues and figurines from the roman era the cashier is nice and if you are from pula tge entery is free

In a really good shape, considering its age. Very beautiful, in a very nice place. Theres a small museum into it. Small, but totally worth visiting if you are into ancient statues. Theres a small souvenirs shop inside it. Stuff isnt expensive. A really nice 10 minutes experience.

Very interesting Temple in the center of Pula. Dating back to approximately 2 B.C it is very well conserved and serves as a small museum of roman statues and antiques. The entrance fee is cheap enough to have a look inside.

OMG this place took my breath away . Paid a small amount to go inside which was well worth it . Its not a very large temple but oh the history. After a quike look round , sat in a chair which are lined up , looked up to the ceiling & WOW. You really must visit if you have the chance .

Really cool building with nice artifacts, but the museum was filled with creepy human-like dolls seated on chairs with their backs to you as you walk in, then when you walk in and turn around, you see how disturbing they are...

Great place. Specialy in the evning and night. There are restaurants and coffe shops in the squer but they are crouded specialy in the eavning. In front of the temple there is a stage and if your lucky there could be something organized (traditional croatian dancing or music).

Five star for the architecture and preservation. It is on the outer loop by the seaside. The interior is a small relics museum, with a small fee for entry. Nearby is the city hall with several cafes. Worth the detour to see.
