Went on a Sunday.. morning... only a handful of people. Air was fresh... breezy.... found it very calming

We are so lucky to he able to do two eco tours in one night (Sunday). The fireflies tour is not operating on Mondays. Right after the fireflies tour, we headed to Telok Mak Nik at Kemaman to see the turtle laying eggs. This turtle came on the beach early, about 9 pm plus. Generally, they take about 30 minutes to dig the hole for laying eggs. This turtle laid 61 eggs that night. The people from the conservation department were there to collect and protect the turtle and the eggs. The eggs were supposed to be taken to the turtle conservation hatchery in Kemaman. Its best to walk barefoot in the soft sand.

Nice place to visit,but not for swimming. Can swim but need to be careful. Got toilet and facilities. You should try to eat satar and ikan celup tepung nearby to the beach

Really love the scenery. Perfect place for picnic. Perfect place to meet with your friend and also for enjoying your time alone. During weekend, theres a lot of people. Recommend during weekdays. A lot of food stalls available. Really nice.

Beautiful beach. There are horse carriage and horses ride available. Calm shady trees on the beachside. Great for picnics at Monica Bay.

The beach is so clean and the water is in aqueous yet crystal clesr colour... Worth to visit if you are staying in hotel or guess house nearby Cherating or Kuantan... It is nearby to Pahang and Terengganu state border.

Good for local and quite interesting..the water was not as blue as other side of terengganu beach....just ok for evening light outings...but the trash everywhere is quite disappointing

A good beach not far from the coastal town of cherating. A clean and white sand beach with easy accessibility direct connected with road.This place is usuly not very crowded. Planty of space for car parking.There are some food stall nearby beach providing local cuisines. Horse riding and ATV ride is also available with reasonable charges.A good place to relax and family picnic.

Love it love it looooove it! As usual, beachy place are so... Calmful. But be alert to not go alone at night, because dark shadows might be lurking anywhere near you.

If you are feeling demotivated, come to this place. It has a very calm & nice view with affordable activities. Come as early as 9am to enjoy this beautiful beach. Unfortunately, u cant swim here. The beach is well managed. And we must also do our oart to preserve the nature and maintain its cleanliness.

Such a beautiful and sandy beaches around Terengganu. But sadly, you can find rubbish anywhere along the beaches. Please do not leave your trash on the beach. Please appreciate our beautiful nature. Car parking is free. There are also plenty of activities available around. Horse riding for kids (with some fare), baby or children toy car rides, playing bubbles and many others.

A nice place for a picnic by the beach but you cannot swim here.

Before February 2019, the last time I visited this beach was back in 2015. I dont remember seeing that much rubbish on the beach back then.Anyway, we had a picnic lunch by the seaside yesterday but had to find a spot along the beach that has fewer rubbish on it, and the strong winds didnt help either. The shady trees that stretches throughout the beach makes it a nice spot to have a picnic or just to relax by the seaside. And the ocean view was breathtaking too.Visitors need to be more responsible when it comes to littering. Shouldnt expect the town council or anyone else to clean up our own mess. Couldve been a cleaner environment for beach visitors and the turtles that come to this beach to lay eggs.Still, kudos to MPK for their best effort in making this beach cleaner and conducive.

Best place for relaxing

Good place for hanging out. At here have atv, horse riding and a lot of food stalls. Lets keep the beach clean together

Its a nice beach to watch turtle laying eggs and the eggs will be transferred to the turtle sanctuary to hatch and release back to the ocean.

Brought my family for the experience of watching turtle laying eggs. Fantastic! Everyone should enjoy this experience.

Relatively clean beach with some debris. Not suitable for swimming as it is quite dangerous. Can see some tracks left by sea turtles when they came to the beach to lay eggs.

Went here not during peak hour, around 2-3pm. For those looking for lunch at sea side,this is not a place.But sea view is superb. Still can have a lunch there. But so so.Parking is ample. Not suitable for swimming. Toilet is clean and have surau.

Beautiful beach and less commercialised. That also means that not much facilities are available.

nice quiet place to jog in the morning with the sound of waves and birds chirping, and to watch the sun rising over the sea. there are a few food stalls but havent tried any of them.
