Food was very good especially the beef dip, huge amount of tender juicy beef and right amount of salt. Chicken strips were also very good as was the service. We were there Aug 10/20 (Monday).

It seems like they now have more then a microwave and a deep fryer in the kitchen, I had a pretty good meal at the old wax museum and its still the coldest beer in town

If you want to get away from it all, then this is a fine place to do just that. If you enjoy outdoor activities , such as hiking, fishing and just submerging yourself in nature, this is the place for you.The local people and culture are friendly and wonderful. I loved it.

New owners have recently taken over the pub. No cold beer and wine store anymore but they will provide off-sales. More a neighbourhood bar than a pub, but you may see Norm at the end of the bar as its a fave with locals.
