We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this place.. No crowds, even weather was pleasant, no wind, lot of sun :we followed short trail and went down to the beach when we saw steps down. There was even the bench along the trail to sit and enjoy.. Which is pretty rare in countryside

We were here in June 2019, the museum was closed. There was no one else here, located next to a cove and surrounded by the beautiful landscapethis place was beautiful and serene. Good place for a relaxing stroll and have the whole place to yourself.

Sehr schöner ort und nicht von touristen überlaufen,da in google stand das es samstag und sonntag geschlossen wäre.allerdings kann man doch über die wege und an den strand runter laufen.ein wirklich schöner und ruhiger ort mit einem historischen hintergrund.

I marked this place to see while on our trip to Iceland last week. Wasn’t too sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. There is a nice short trail that leads along the top of the coast. One place has steps to venture down to the beach. The views from the trail were beautiful and worth a stop.

Jolie site en bord de la route 1: ancienne ferme inhabitée depuis 1992. Qui avait servie debut 1900 à une des filles dun fermier et de sa femme danoise a créer un labo photo. Elle reste considérée comme la meilleure phorographe dIslande
