Tehran Restaurant - Restaurant in Florence, Italy
Amazing food, awesome interior decoration and beautiful background musics. Feels like I was in Iran while visiting Italy. Loobia polo & koobide 👌
One of the best Persian food I have ever had in both Europe and US!!! It reminded me of my family home made food. The place is amazingly decorated with fascinating decoration that mesmerize you from the time you enter this tiny restaurant ❤️😍🙌Definitely one of the must when you are in Florence!!
Excellent Persian restaurant in the heart of Firenze.Food & sides were tasty + service was wonderful.Great break from the usual Italian monotonous Pasta & Fish dishes.
Very clean. Very tasty.Lots of food variety specially if youre fed up of Italian cuisine being carbon copies of each other
30+years of Persian food, dozens of Mediterranean restaurants and this is toward the top of the list. Tehran Restaurant is tucked away on a quiet corner, a few mins walk from Piazza del Duomo. They had dishes I had never or rarely had, along with delicious kebab, particularly the Celo Torsh. I’m certain we will be back.
Such a warm and cozy environment to experience Iranian cuisine. We had ordered « Jujeh Torsh », « Baghali polo Mahicheh » and « Ghormeh Sabzi » as the main coarse that none of them disappointed us. The only down point was the rice that was too greasy
Amazing food experience. Worth coming and dining here. Also check out next door leather store.A must dine in space
We found some ants with the rice, plates werent sanitized well. Felt nauseas for the whole day after eating
The food was really good and tasty, the service was great and tje vibe was the best
Food was delicious, service was good, but the only down side was the place “very small and tiny” tables were very close to each other.
Lovely place went with the family with no reservations and they were very kind and accommodating. We had all rice dishes and meat. The meat was succulent and well cooked. They also accommodated my wish to have something spicy (after 10 days of Italian food the Indian in me was screaming for some spice). My daughter and husband also enjoyed their meals. Lovely ambience and interior as well. Thanks for making my trip to Firenzi memorable!
Excellent quality, authentic Persian dishes, including kebab. Great central location. Friendly service.
Amazing food, best yogurt drink/ayran Ive ever tasted in my life! Great atmosphere. Our waiter was also really nice! 10/10👌👌👌👌👌👌
Terrible Service and mediocre, warmed up food. The waitress and waiter were too busy eating, loudly chatting with their friends, and shouting at their dog, rather than attending their unfortunate clients.
Tiny place. Random if they’ll allow you in if you don’t have reservations. So we were not sat first time and made reservation for next visit. That visit they sat down someone without reservation ahead of us.Next the food. Kashkeh Bademjoon was mediocre. The Basmati rice was a paste texture. The Koobideh kabob was not tasty. The Kookooh was fairly sour tasting. Almost every Persian restaurant I’ve been to has better tasting food than this one.
One of the best Persian food experience I’ve ever had. Great food, nice staff and friendly owners. The place is so beautiful, and the ambiance is great. I’d definitely go back again.
What a gem of a Persian restraunt in the heart of Florence. The kabab Torsh & Morgh Nardoon is a must. Not to mention the Zeytoun Parvardeh!! Our waiter Salar was super nice and a true gentleman!! Tehran made our visit to Florence more special!! Parchameh Iran balast 🇮🇷🙏🏽
The most divine meal we had in Florence. Made us feel like we were back in Iran. Service was fantastic, the kabob koobideh was delicious. 100% would recommend to everyone. Will be back next time we’re in Florence.
This place is truly a hidden gem! They have the most amazing authentic Persian dishes. The dishes have so much flavour and are perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the atmosphere is great. Many locals eat here. Also order the ice cream, it’s great!
We stopped by at this amazing Persian restaurant when we were visiting Florence. The food was delicious and reminded me of home.Highly recommend this place.
The only Persian restaurant in Florence (at the time). Limited capacity so highly recommend to book your table in advance. Nice and eye catching traditional interior and good quality food of almost all recipes. Highly recommended for those who want to try Iranian dish for the first time.
Great food. Friendly staff !
Best meal I had in Florence. Really loved it. Will return next time I’m in town
Great restaurant with amazing Iranian food, friendly staffs, and a perfect atmosphere to feel the taste of Persian cuisine. Highly recommend 👌
Amazing food. Menu is diverse and composed of essential traditional main courses and side dishes. I highly recommend it. Environment is well decorated with antique Persian elements . Music is great there. And staff are so helpful and kind.
Delicious cozy Persian food, portions were very adequate (disagree with other reviewerShirazi salad very flavorful, vegetarian options. Suggest reservations for more than 2 persons, restaurant only seats about 20 persons. Hours say open at noon, they opened today 5/5/22 @12:15. Hope to return for Saturday Fesnajan special.
Worst persian food ever! We ordered kubide, mahiche and the trio appetizer,The appetizers were like 1spoon of each- 10€ for 3 spoons 🙄🙄 kubide was like just onion and some leftover meat(no meat tastethe mahiche was too oily, and the rices were cold on top and hot in bottom. So, it wasn’t worth aprx50€…. The only thing that was delicious was the Dough!!!
Amazing Persian food, it is like you are eating at home ☺️
Delightful restaurant tastefully decorated by the owner. Amongst the often expensive Florence restaurants this offers a changé from pizza and pasta offering Iranian cuisine. Owner very attentive and welcoming ..house wine again very reasonable by Florence standards. No hard sell just authentic Iranian cooking ..rice was delicious.
Best Persian restaurant in Italy. Wonderful ambiance, kind staff, the most delicious food. Can’t wait to return back.
The food was good but the service was bad. We paid in cash and when we asked for the receipt the waiter said that he cant give us one, the money probably went straight into his pocket.
One of the best Iranian restaurants I’ve ever tried. It’s a must in Florence. I ordered the kubideh and saffron chicken with rice. The chicken was sooo tender and the whole dish was so flavorful. Can’t wait to come back again.
Tehran restaurant is a must try when you’re in Florence! The food, the ambiance and decoration and the service is all fantastic! There is beauty in every corner of the restaurant. The food quality is very high and the taste is phenomenal! My family and I had a wonderful experience and we will try to come back again :)
I saw Tehran Restaurant listed on Eater’s best restaurants in Florence and knew I had to make a trip— absolutely delicious, highly recommend as a break from all the pizza and pasta. The pistachio mousse was a real treat
We enjoyed our dinner at Tehran restaurant. This was our first experience with Iranian cuisine and it was really pleasant one. Highly recommend for all carnivores who are looking for special food experience. Staff are nice and service was fast too.
Great service with delicious food ad very good prices. Service was excellent and food was very tasty, located in the alley make the right then left if you follow google maps.
Delicious and the service is wonderful! The food tasted fresh and was well made. It doesn’t look like a lot of food but it’s very filling. The dessert is fantastic if you have a sweet tooth. Overall a great experience.
I really enjoyed the food here! Unfortunately because of the COVID-19 restrictions we were unable to eat inside the restaurant. Nevertheless I was impressed with the decor when I went inside to order and Im looking forward to returning when we can finally eat in restaurants again!
Whats not to love about this place? Flavourful food in a lovely environment. Super recommended
If you are tired of eating Italian food in Florence then this is the place to enjoy the middle eastern food. The gravies are bit mild and on sweeter side. Portion size quite-small but overall good experience
Great Persian food and warm atmosphereI live in london andwe have a good number of Perisian Resturants that one is definitely a one to remember. Strongly recommend if you need a break from traditional Tuscan dishes.Prices are relatively reasonable and the service was good.
Great location and super nice staff,Very delicious Persian cuisine, portions are a bit small for Persian styles
I went there for lunch and it was very busy but didnt have to wait long and was shown a table quickly.I ordered Dolmeh without meat for my starter and Ghormeh Sabzi for my main which was fantastic plus some side. The reasons I really liked this Persian restaurant are the quality of the food, beautiful eating utensils, restaurant decorations which is sentimental for me as an Iranian and eye catching for foreigners, good service and reasonable prices. The portions were enough for one.Sadly, couldnt try any dessert as I was stuffed so hopefully next time I travel to Firenze.
Great cosy Persian Restaurant with delicious affordable food. Prices are reasonable. Excellent quality. Get the extra rice as the portions are a bit small. You will love this place once you try for the first time.Serve beer and wine as well.Clean and tidy with friendly staff which is a given considering persian hospitality ( guests are treated as friends of the God)
Great Persian gem in the center of Florence! Tasty food with very good service.A few suggestions though:1- Rice was a bit dry and can improve2- Portions were a bit small as well3- Warm and fresh bread is highly appreciated4- Serve Tahdig (crispy bread/potato ricethat is a must need for Persian customers
THE BEST PERSIAN FOOD I HAVE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME. 100% recommend. If you are in Florence and are tired of bland pastas and spaghetti, TEHRAN RESTAURANT is your best shot! If you are not persian and you are not sure, try "chenjeh" .... also try "mirza ghasemi"
4 star is a bit high because I did not like the manager behaviour but I do want to support persian business. I was just traveling and spent 2 days in Felorance and tried this place. The food was good specially the Kabab Torsh and I loved the environment.Although as I mentioned the manager was so rude with the poor waiter. And I did not like their attitude toward myself as a customer either.
Exquisite flavor, food was authenticly Persian and you can tell the chef loves what he does... Thank you very much... Cant wait to go back... highly recommended!
Nice food. The kubide was very nice as well as the chicken. Ice cream was not that special, but the waitresses made it up more than enough 👌
The service was good for us. They opened at 12:15. The kubidé is good as usual and presentation is above average. The rice was soft and not too oily. If you like Persian food its definitely a good place. Enjoy!
