TeamSport Go Karting Stockton in Middlesbrough

Great track, bunch of overtaking spots and the surface in the track underneath and the turns make an absolute blast for anyone coming. Absolutely loved it 10 out 10.

Karting was great just felt it was dragged out as we were waiting for over 2 hours to do two 15 minute drives.

Brilliant venue, great service and the technical track is one of the best in the area. Plus theres a great bar/cafe there and they also cater for spectators with numerous viewing platforms.

I love coming but this time I had another driver purposely bumping me off the track , he appoligised after I had words with him but disappointed the staff did nothing after I advised them to check the cameras . This has put me off racking again . Thanks

Absolutely fantastic experience. I took 3 teenage girls for a birthday treat on the 16th of August and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Two of them had not been before and were a little anxious but the staff were excellent, so much so that I asked reception for everyones names, so a big thank you to Sam Mc, Zak B, Tom and Ashleigh who were friendly, approachable and helpful whilst being professional and focusing on safety at all times. I would fully recommend this venue. Many thanks

Apsolutely amazing track with 2 differently set out floors on the track and once you get use to the track you will know the lines to take round corners.

I was there attend a celebration for my nephews 16th birthday. We were told by staff that there was only 6 of us plus one other racing. We were joined by another family/friend group of 6 who proceeded to spoil the enjoyment for our group due to breaking every rule, driving unsafe, causing so many incidents and putting driving time down to a minimum, due to either red or orange lights being on as they had caused the circuit to be unsafe due to reckless driving and total disregard to anyone else’s safety. They passed on orange lights, continuously bumped into others vehicles causing unnecessary crashes. I myself was badly injured when I was side impacted side and hit at two other points at the same time hurting my left arm, left side and winding me My son was left with bruising all down his spine. I know there is an element of possible injury when doing fun sports but this was made 100 times worse by irresponsible customers with complete disregard for anyone else’s safety and being blacked flagged on so many times I couldn’t count. My 3 stars is in no way relating to venue or staff. Loved the track, the staff were friendly and helpful and acted quickly when I was hurt following up with incident with a report, so the staff could not be faulted. However I feel the experience was spoiled not just for me but the whole family and staff should be able to have more power in removing drivers whom continue to disrespect the rules and others safety and enjoyment.

Had so much fun, the carts are quicker than I expected,Ashleigh was in charge of our group, and was good fun, nothing to much trouble, it is well worth a visit, no matter how old, I am 53 but young at heart and went with husband 65 and son 27 and had a great time and I didnt finish last 👍

The staff are amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. Beth, got my son and his friends on the track and through a safety briefing really well and saved them missing the session. Thank you Beth and team :)

2nd time here, staff polite, drinks little expensive but it is what it is. Shame that you don’t redo the voucher after the second would definitely do it again.The building was hard for my wife to watch the family in wheelchair, had to struggle up the stairs as no lift, not suitable for disabled people.

First run, the kart had a sticky throttle. Foot off the accelerator and it just kept going. Had to put for a new kart. Second kart wouldn’t start. By the time I started I had missed 1/3 of the session. Second session was cut short by several minutes. I was not offered any discount or compensation. So as a result I feel somewhat short changed, given the issues were all related to mechanical issues of your doing, not any fault of my own.Additionally, race suits were tired and smelly. Velcro fasteners not functional. We could not find a locker that would lock. Many had doors that were hanging off their hinges. People were having to leave money and phones in unlocked lockers. It’s just very poorly maintained and getting significantly worse every visit.Please let me know how you plan to recompense me for my cut short visit due to your mechanical issues and reassure me that the dilapidated facilities will be rectified.

£30 to go round the track for half an hour. Then made me pay £3.50 for a balaclava. So upset. Outcry is an understatement. To top it all off, the loggerheaded bum-bailey worker crashed into me. Terrible location, walked all the way in the freezing rain. If you want to make this experience better wear wet jeans

Decent equipment, however the staff were pathetic pulling people over for the sake of it. Power abusing muppets

1st time we have been both our children we took are autistic, we let Beth know & she was amazing with them , reassuring & helpful, the children loved it , cant wait to go back again great experience ❤

Loads of fun! Went during a quiet time, staff were helpful. I wish the gear was better quality as the overalls didnt close up due to the velcro not being the best.We had a staff member on the track with us as we raced. Which at first made me anxious and uneasy as this was our first time and he was passing us a lot on corners and down the ramps.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Helmet cams didnt work, but was offered a discount but we negotiated a refund for them, and got it within a day. Would recommend.

Myself, colleagues and friends have been attending over the last 3 months, great service from all, especially Ashleigh, Dan and Emma who are always keen to go that extra mile and keeping the bar open for us at the end of the night.-Steve Crawford

Took my two boys as it was one of their birthdays and didn’t know if they’d like it. Can safely say the staff were fully engaged with all the guests and made everyone feel welcome. Explained in detail during the race briefing what to expect on track and did it in a way In which younger children could understand. Staff were very attentive with the kids and made sure their karts were safe before letting them on the track! Once On the track, if there were any incidents, staff were there in seconds to move the karts and get people back racing again. The venue and the equipment (karts, helmets, overalls etcwere spot on and very well looked after and maintained. Kids and myself thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be going back as soon as we can.

Great fun! Well organised, nice staff. Nice clean building. Only grip is while booking you choose a time, but you then get an email so say you need to be there 30 minutes before. For me this was an issue as I booked a time when I could get there stright from work, and couldnt be there 30 minutes earlier. Personally I thought the time booked would be the time you would need to arrive or be on site by to go into your pre race meeting etc, no the time you need to be on track by and need 30 minute pre race time. If you are booking a time please note this and turn up 30 minutes before. This wasnt an issue for the staff as there were slots on the later time for us, but could of been an issue if they were fully booked.

This is the first time I’ve ever been karting and it was a great experience. Adam was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic experience. First time I have ever been go karting and would definitely go again… equipment was top quality the only issue I had was with the Velcro on the race suits there was nothing for it to fasten up properly. 100% will return.

Although the booking online system was a little tricky and not user friendly the experience at the venue was first class and silky smooth. Our venue rep Adam was so friendly. helpful and professional, he made our experience perfect!

Great place, went today with 10 lads from work and we all enjoyed it. Good fast go karts and a really good track.

Excellent 18th birthday activity for my son who loved the 50 lap race.Only issue i had was the overalls had lost the velcro which was slightly annoying.All in all well ran and safety was paramount which was great to see.

Its a fantastic venue.The track is well laid out with both technical and high speed sections. I just wish I could figure out how to carry more speed out of the slippery left hairpin before the up ramp!

My son loves it here, they make him feel very welcome, they give him all the coaching he needs to become a better racer, Emma is especially attentive and always makes time to chat to him.

Was a great afternoon activity and work event. All the staff were clear, concise and helpful. All the kit was clean and safe, the track was excellent and the way the results are shown/shared was really good. Definitely be back and definitely recommended to other people

We had a party today and it was excellent. Well organised. The staff had lots of patience and were very accomodating and professional. Thankyou for giving my son a 10th birthday he wont forget. From booking to walking out the door excellent customer service.

I took my son and 2 of his friends for his birthday. Due to adults racing at the same time, one of my sons friends only did a couple of laps and then came off because he got scared because of the adults banging in to him. My son did one session but was rammed by an adult, and the force of the crash slammed my son into the steering wheel, this made him scared and he felt sick so wouldnt go back on. We spoke to the staff that were on site, and they were fantastic about it, they spoke to the adults, but from what I could tell, the adults didnt appear to be bothered. We received a full credit refund with no time limit to return at any time. A recommendation for management should be that there are child sessions only for children under the age of 12 as there are children with different levels of abilities and mental states that need to be catered for. Overall, as this was for a birthday, it did damper the spirits of the day, and I would struggle with recommending this for children.

Very friendly helpful staff. Not so good is part of the other people in your group are kids with not much idea. They keep getting stuck on the sides and the amber light comes on while they are attended to. So it can be hard to get a fast lap in. 15 mins is a bit short. 20 mins would be enough and feel like better value for money.

Amazing & fantastic all rolled into 4 rubber wheels. The racing is the best fun that ive ever had. LOVE the place & u will also once you have tried it out. Staff seem really canny. Clean changing rooms etc etc & appear to have the Safety aspect well &truly @ the top of the list. Only thing that i think i can pull them on is that they start the timer of the driving session before they green light it which i think is very wrong, 1-2 mins lost i reckon each time.

Friendly professional venue, all equipment was clean when issued, Karts are modern and the track set out brilliant, highly recommend booking online and completing driver registration all easy enough.

Absolutely loved it at teamsport gokarting in Stockton, the staff were so lovely and so informative. I love how the bar is set out too its the total opposite of cramped and there is actually room to move!! Dont hesitate about visiting because you definitely should!!

On the day there where 3 of us, and 3 others on the track, which was amazing, the yellow flag/lights thing is for safety so I see the need for them, our host was OK, I think Ive got 50% off next time.. To the owner... 5 stars is for the team member and the track ect for the staffing levels you would get a 1 at best.. The staff where split that thin you had piles of enquiries at the desk down stairs and people walked out, you couldnt get a coffee as there was no one to make it, and the toilets where overflowing but no one to sort it.

172 mile round trip to visit TeamSport Stockton as Im touring all the locations. I chose this location this week as they had an extra 20% off online bookings.The track entrance and pit lane is upstairs so initially the track doesnt look all that big but over 50% of the track is downstairs. Everything at Stockton including the karts looked very new compared to other locations.The upper level is all grippy plywood and the lower level is quite slippy polished concrete. This track reminded me of Preston which similarly is slippy concrete on the ground level and plywood on the upper levels. This combination makes the track very technical with a lot of tight corners on both levels that require different techniques depending on the surface. Its quicker to use the throttle sparingly on this track and a smooth driving style paid off for me on this occasion coming 1st with a fastest time of 41.384s (203rd fastest overall).The best thing about Stockton has to be how smooth the whole track is, after being completely battered at Warrington the previous week Im happy to say that I suffered no injuries this week at Stockton. I think the layout of the track is the best use of 500m I have encountered so far.Staff have been great at every location so far and its always good to have a chat about karting. As usual a member of staff helped me check my camera level (see YouTubewhile others received the safety briefing, much appreciated.Once Ive finished touring this will be one of the tracks I return to and Ill certainly be recommending TeamSport Stockton.

We went to Team sport for my sons birthday.The boys all had an amazing time. Absolutely loved it. This is the best experience I have had from a customer service point of view. Every member of staff we encountered were fantastic, helpful, informative and enthusiastic.Sam was our host and was great too.Excellent work by all. Thank you for such a great night.
